A sensitive and selective electrochemical method for the determination of epinephrine(EP) was developed using a modified carbon paste electrode(MCPE) with 2,2’-[3,6-dioxa-1,8-octanediylbis(nitriloethylidyne)]-bis-hydroquinone(DOH).Cyclic voltammetry was used to investigate the redox properties of this modified electrode at various solution pH values and at various scan rates. In differential pulse voltammetry, the modified electrode could separate the oxidation peak potentials of EP and uric acid(UA) present in the solution but at the unmodified CPE the peak potentials were indistinguishable. This method was also examined for determination of EP in EP injection.  相似文献

A novel covalently modified glassy carbon electrode with glutamic acid has been fabricated via an electrochemical oxidation procedure and was applied to the catalytic oxidation of uric acid (UA) and ascorbic acid (AA), reducing the overpotentials by about 0.2 V and 0.3 V, respectively. Based on its strong catalytic function toward the oxidation of UA and AA, the modified electrode resolved the overlapping voltammetric response of UA and AA into two well-defined voltammetric peaks with both cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), which can be used for the simultaneous determination of these species in a mixture. The catalytic peak current obtained from DPV was linearly dependent on the UA and AA concentration in the range 2 x 10(-6)-4 x 10(-4) mol L-1 and 1.0 x 10(-6)-4 x 10(-4) mol L-1 with correlation coefficients of 0.996 and 0.997, respectively. The detection limits (3 delta) for UA and AA were 1.1 x 10(-6) mol L-1 and 9.2 x 10(-7) mol L-1, respectively. The modified electrode shows good sensitivity, selectivity and stability, and has been applied to the determination of UA and AA simultaneously in human urine samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A chemically modified carbon paste electrode (CPE), consisting of 2,2''-[(1E)-(1,2-phenylenebis(azanylylidene)] bis(methanylylidene)]bis(benzene-1,4-diol) (PBD) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs), was used to study the electrocatalytic oxidation of dopamine using cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). First, the electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode was investigated in buffer solution. Then the diffusion coefficient, electrocatalytic rate constant, and electron-transfer coefficient for dopamine oxidation at the surface of the PBD-modified CNT paste electrode were determined using electrochemical approaches. It was found that under optimum conditions (pH = 7.0), the oxidation of dopamine at the surface of such an electrode occurred at about 200 mV, lower than that of an unmodified CPE. DPV of dopamine at the modified electrode exhibited two linear dynamic ranges, with a detection limit of 1.0 μmol/L. Finally, DPV was used successfully for the simultaneous determination of dopamine, uric acid, and folic acid at the modified electrode, and detection limits of 1.0, 1.2, and 2.7 μmol/L were obtained for dopamine, uric acid, and folic acid, respectively. This method was also used for the determination of dopamine in a pharmaceutical preparation using the standard addition method.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidation of L-cysteine (CySH) in presence of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) formed a composite film at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) as a novel modifier for directly electroanalytical determination of terbinafine without sample pretreatment in biological fluid. The determination of terbinafine at the modified electrode with strongly accumulation was studied by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The peak current obtained at +1.156 V (vs. SCE) from DPV was linearly dependent on the terbinafine concentration in the range of 8.0 x 10(-8)-5.0 x 10(-5 )M in a B-R buffer solution (0.04 M, pH 1.81) with a correlation coefficient of 0.998. The detection limit (S/N=3) was 2.5 x 10(-8 )M. The low-cost modified electrode showed good sensitivity, selectivity, and stability. This developed method had been applied to the direct determination of terbinafine in human serum samples with satisfactory results. It is hopeful that the modified electrode will be applied for the medically clinical test and the pharmacokinetics in future.  相似文献

In this study, an acetaminophen-modified glassy carbon electrode (ACMGCE) was fabricated for the purpose of investigating its electrochemical behavior by cyclic voltammetry (CV). ACMGCE serves as an excellent bifunctional electrocatalyst for the oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA) and glutathione (GSH) in a phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.0). The kinetic parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient, α, and the heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant, k', for the oxidation of AA and GSH at the ACMGCE surface were determined by CV. In addition, detection limits of 3.89 μM for AA and 0.37 μM for GSH were obtained at the ACMGCE using a differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) method. In DPV, the bifunctional modified electrode could separate the oxidation peak potentials of AA, GSH, adrenaline (AD) and tryptophan (Trp) present in the same solution, though the peak potentials were indistinguishable at a bare GCE. Finally, the modified electrode was successfully applied to the determination of AA in a pharmaceutical preparation and GSH in a human plasma sample.  相似文献

Aminylferrocene(FcAI)-Nanogold(NG) modified glassy carbon electrode (FcAI/NG/GCE) was prepared by the Au-N bond between Au and FcAI. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was employed to study the surface of the modified electrode. The electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) on the modified electrode was investigated and it was found that the modified electrode had an obvious electrocatalytic effect on DA. Compared with a bare GCE, the modified electrode exhibited an apparent shift of the oxidation peak potential in the negative potential direction and a marked enhancement in the current response for DA. We investigated the determination of DA on the modified electrode by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Linear calibration curve was obtained in the range of 7.0 x 10(-7) mol/L to 6x10(-4) mol/L of DA in 0.1 mol/L phosphate buffer solution (pH = 7.0) with a correlation coefficient of 0.9989. The detection limit (S/N = 3) of DA was estimated to be 1.0 x 10(-7) mol/L. Especially, by using the modified electrode, we can separate the oxidation peaks of ascorbic acid (AA) and DA in the PBS and it was satisfactory for the determination of DA with the interference of AA.  相似文献

beta-Alanine was covalently grafted on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by amine cation radical formation in the electrooxidation process of the amino-containing compound. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV) proved the immobilization of beta-alanine monolayer on GCE. The electrode shows strong electrocatalytic functions to dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA), reducing the overpotentials by 0.20 V and 0.23 V, respectively. Due to its different catalytic effects toward DA and AA, the modified electrode resolved the overlapping voltammetric responses of DA and AA into two well-defined voltammetric peaks by CV or differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), which can be used for the simultaneous determination of these species in a mixture. The catalytic peak current obtained from DPV was linearly related to DA and AA concentrations in the ranges of 4.0 x 10(-6)-5.0 x 10(-4) mol/L and 2.0 x 10(-5)-6.0 x 10(-3) mol/L with correlation coefficients of 0.997 and 0.995, respectively. The detection limits (3 sigma) for DA and AA were 2.4 x 10(-6) mol/L and 1.2 x 10(-5) mol/L, respectively. The electrode shows good sensitivity, selectivity and stability, and has been applied to the determination of DA and AA simultaneously in samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new approach was attempted to prepare a chemically modified electrode using Cobalt hexacyanoferrate (CoHCF) as the redox mediator and to study its stability and electrocatalytic activity for ascorbic acid (AA) oxidation. The basic principle underlying the electrode modification is the coordination of cobalt ion with the amino nitrogen of aniline adsorbed on the surface of a graphite rod. This surface was subsequently derivatized with ferrocyanide to get CoHCF film on the electrode surface. The CoHCF modified electrode as prepared above was characterized using cyclic voltammetry. The effect of scan rate, supporting electrolyte and pH of the medium on the performance of the modified electrode was investigated. The CoHCF modified electrode exhibited good electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of ascorbic acid and gave a linear response from 5.52 x 10(-5) M to 3.23 x 10(-2) M with a correlation coefficient of 0.9929. The detection limit was found to be 3.33 x 10(-5) M. Hydrodynamic voltammetry and chronoamperometry studies for the oxidation of ascorbic acid were also carried out. The electrode was highly stable and exhibited good reproducibility. This modified electrode was also applied for the determination of ascorbic acid in commercial samples.  相似文献

Polycysteic acid based electrochemical oxidation of L-cysteine (CySH) and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) formed a composite thin film material at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) that was used a novel modifier for electroanalytical determination of sinomenine which is used for rheumatoid arthritis treatment. The determination of sinomenine at the composite modified electrode was studied by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The peak current obtained at + 0.632 V (vs SCE) from DPV was linearly dependent on the sinomenine concentration in the range of 1.0 x 10(-7) to 6.0 x 10(-5) M in a B-R buffer solution (0.04 M, pH 1.81) with a correlation coefficient of 0.998. The detection limit (S/N = 3) was 5.0 x 10(-8) M. The electrochemical reaction mechanism of sinomenine was also discussed. This new method was then applied to the high-throughput determination of sinomenine in human serum samples with satisfactory results. This polycysteic acid/CNTs composite film may be considered to be a promising, low-cost, durable, and biocompatible material for the modification of sensors in applications to pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis.  相似文献

The voltammetric behaviors of uric acid (UA) and L ‐ascorbic acid (L ‐AA) were studied at well‐aligned carbon nanotube electrode. Compared to glassy carbon, carbon nanotube electrode catalyzes oxidation of UA and L ‐AA, reducing the overpotentials by about 0.028 V and 0.416 V, respectively. Based on its differential catalytic function toward the oxidation of UA and L ‐AA, the carbon nanotube electrode resolved the overlapping voltammetric response of UA and L ‐AA into two well‐defined voltammetric peaks in applying both cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), which can be used for a selective determination of UA in the presence of L ‐AA. The peak current obtained from DPV was linearly dependent on the UA concentration in the range of 0.2 μM to 80 μM with a correlation coefficient of 0.997. The detection limit (3δ) for UA was found to be 0.1 μM. Finally, the carbon nanotube electrode was successfully demonstrated as a electrochemical sensor to the determination of UA in human urine samples by simple dilution without further pretreatment.  相似文献

The electrooxidative behavior and determination of Tamsulosin HCl (TAM), one of the alpha(1)-adrenoceptor antagonist, on a glassy carbon disc electrode were investigated for the first time by using cyclic, linear sweep, differential pulse (DPV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV). TAM showed an irreversible oxidation behavior at all pH values and buffers studied. From the electrochemical response, the main oxidation step was found to be related to the methoxy group on the phenyl ring. DPV and SWV were used to generate peak current versus concentration curves for TAM. A linear response was obtained in the range comprised between 2x10(-6) and 4x10(-4) M for both techniques with detection limit of 3.34x10(-7) M for DPV and 2.45x10(-7) M for SWV. The methods were proposed for the determination of TAM in dosage forms adopting both DPV and SWV modes. The methods were extended to the in vitro determination of TAM in spiked serum samples.  相似文献

Glycine was covalently grafted on to a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by amine cation radical formation in electrooxidation of the amino-containing compound. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and cyclic voltammetry proved the immobilization of glycine on the GCE. The modified electrode reduced the overpotentials of dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA) by approximately 0.15 V and 0.23 V, respectively, and resolved the overlapping voltammetric response of DA and AA into two well-defined voltammetric peaks in cyclic voltammetry (CV) or differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), unlike the unmodified GCE; this can be used for the simultaneous determination of these species in a mixture. The differential pulse peak current was linearly dependent on DA and AA concentration in the range 5 x 10(-6)-8 x 10(-4) mol L(-1) and 6 x 10(-5)-4 x 10(-3) mol L(-1), with correlation coefficients of 0.996 and 0.994, respectively. The detection limits (3delta) for DA and AA were 1.8 x 10(-6) mol L(-1) and 2.1 x 10(-5) mol L(-1), respectively. The modified electrode is very sensitive, selective and stable, and has been applied to the determination of DA and AA simultaneously in samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Graphite electrode is modified by casting multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) wrapped with polystyrene sulphonate (PSS) onto the surface of the bare graphite electrode. The modified electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The behavior of the modified electrode towards the oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) has been determined by cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and chronoamperometry (CA). The modified electrode showed better electrocatalytic activity towards AA, DA and UA compared to bare graphite electrode. The electrochemical oxidation signals of AA, DA and UA are well separated into three distinct peaks with peak potential difference of 222, 128 and 350 mV between AA-DA, DA-UA and AA-UA respectively in CV studies and corresponding peak potential separation in DPV are 228, 120 and 348 mV. This modified electrode was successfully used for simultaneous determination of AA, DA and UA in ternary mixture.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of levodopa (LD) was investigated on the surface of a carbon paste electrode modified with TiO2 nanoparticles and 2,2??-(1,2 butanediylbis(nitriloethylidyne))-bis-hydroquinone (BNH). The prepared modified electrode showed an efficient catalytic role in the electrochemical oxidation of LD, leading to a remarkable decrease in oxidation overpotential and enhancement of the kinetics of the electrode reaction. The mechanism of the electrocatalytic process on the surface of the modified electrode was analyzed by obtaining the cyclic voltammograms in various potential sweep rates. This modified electrode exhibited well-separated oxidation peaks for LD and carbidopa (CD). The differential pulse voltammetry was applied as a very sensitive analytical method for the determination of LD and CD. A linear dynamic range of 2.0?C600.0 and 20.0?C400.0???M with a detection limit of 0.2???M (with sensitivity of 0.199 ??A ??M?1) and 10???M (with sensitivity of 0.024???A???M?1) was obtained for LD and CD, respectively. The modified electrode was prepared quite easily and renewed on the surface by simple polishing.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode, modified with 2, 2′-[1,7-hepthandiylbis(nitriloethylidyne)]-bis-hydroquinone and TiO2 nanoparticles, was used for the simultaneous determination of dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA), and l-cysteine. The study was carried out by using cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and square wave voltammetry (SWV) techniques. Some kinetic parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient (α) and heterogeneous rate constant (ks) were also determined for the DA oxidation. A dynamic range of 8.0–1400 μM, with the detection limit of 8.4 × 10−7 M for DA, was obtained using SWV (pH = 7.0). The prepared electrode was successfully applied for the determination of DA, UA, and l-cysteine in real samples.  相似文献

The preparation and electrochemical characterization of a carbon nanotube paste electrode modified with 2,2′-[1,2-ethanediylbis (nitriloethylidyne)]-bis-hydroquinone, referred to as EBNBH, was investigated. The EBNBH carbon nanotube paste electrode (EBNBHCNPE) displayed one pair of reversible peaks at E pa = 0.18 V and E pc = 0.115 V vs Ag/AgCl. Half wave potential (E 1/2) and ΔE p were 0.148 and 0.065 V vs Ag/AgCl, respectively. The electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA) has been studied on EBNBHCNPE, using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and chronoamperometry techniques. It has been shown that the oxidation of AA occurs at a potential where oxidation is not observed at the unmodified carbon paste electrode. The heterogeneous rate constant for oxidation of AA at the EBNBHCNPE was also determined and found to be about 1.07 × 10−3 cm s−1. The diffusion coefficient of AA was also estimated as 5.66 × 10−6 cm2 s−1 for the experimental conditions, using chronoamperometry. Also, this modified electrode presented the property of electrocatalysing the oxidation of AA and uric acid (UA) at 0.18 and 0.35 V vs Ag/AgCl, respectively. The separations of anodic peak potentials of AA and UA reached 0.17 V. Using differential pulse voltammetry, the calibration curves for AA and UA were obtained over the range of 0.1–800 μM and 20–700 μM, respectively. With good selectivity and sensitivity, the present method provides a simple method for selective detection of AA and UA in biological samples.  相似文献

The electrooxidation of dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA) and their mixture on a gold electrode modified by a self-assembled monolayer of 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-1,3-dithialone has been studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV), chronoamperometry and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). CV was used to investigate the redox properties of the modified electrode at various scan rates and the apparent charge transfer rate constant (k(s)), and transfer coefficient (α) were calculated. The mediated oxidation of DA at the modified electrode under the optimum condition (pH = 7.0) in CV occurs at a potential about 220 mV less positive than that of the unmodified gold electrode. The values of electron transfer coefficients (α), catalytic rate constant (k) and diffusion coefficient (D) were calculated for DA, using electrochemical methods. DPV exhibited a linear dynamic range over the concentration range of 0.2-250.0 μM and a detection limit (3σ) of 0.07 μM for DA. The modified electrode was used for simultaneous determination of DA and UA by DPV. The results showed that the electrode is highly efficient for the catalytic electrooxidation of DA and UA, leading to a remarkable peak resolution (~350 mV) for two compounds. The electrode was used for the determination of DA in an injection sample.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of atorvastatin calcium at glassy carbon and boron-doped diamond electrodes has been studied using voltammetric techniques. The possible mechanism of oxidation was discussed with model compounds. The dependence of the peak current and potentials on pH, concentration, scan rate and nature of the buffer were investigated for both electrodes. The oxidation of atorvastatin was irreversible and exhibited a diffusion-controlled fashion on the diamond electrode. A linear response was obtained within the range of 9.65 x 10(-7) - 3.86 x 10(-5) M in 0.1 M H(2)SO(4) solution for both electrodes. The detection limits of a standard solution are estimated to be 2.11 x 10(-7) M with differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and 2.05 x 10(-7)M with square wave voltammetry (SWV) for glassy carbon electrode, and 2.27 x 10(-7) M with DPV and 1.31 x 10(-7)M with SWV for diamond electrodes in 0.1 M H(2)SO(4) solution. The repeatability of the methods was found good for both electrodes. The methods were fully validated and successfully applied to the high-throughput determination of the drug in tablets, human serum and human urine with good recoveries.  相似文献

A chemically modified electrode based on a chitosan-multiwall carbon nanotube (MWNT) coated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is described, which exhibits an attractive ability to determine dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA) simultaneously. The modified electrode exhibited a high differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) current response to DA at 0.144 V and AA at -0.029 V (vs. SCE) in a 0.1 mol l(-1) phosphate buffer solution (pH = 7.2). The properties and behaviors of the chitosan-multiwall carbon nanotube modified electrode (MC/GCE) were characterized using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and DPV methods. The mechanism for the discrimination of dopamine from ascorbic acid at MC/GCE is discussed. The linear calibration range for DA and AA were 5 x 10(-7) mol l(-1) to 1 x 10(-4) mol l(-1) (r = 0.997), and 5 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) to 1 x 10(-3) mol l(-1) (r = 0.996), respectively. The MC/GCE showed good sensitivity, selectivity and stability.  相似文献
