The paper addresses a plane problem: a concentrated force acts on a plate resting on an elastic half-space with homogeneous prestrain. The equations of motion of the plate incorporate shear and rotary inertia. The half-space is assumed to be incompressible and isotropic in the natural state. The elastic potential is given in general form and is only specified for numerical purposes. The dependence of the critical velocity of the load and the stress-strain state on the prestresses is analyzed for different ratios between the stiffnesses of the layer and half-space and different contact conditions. The impact of a rigid sphere on a homogeneous, isotropic elastic half-space in the absence of friction and adhesion is considered. The influence of the superseismic stage immediately following the moment of first contact upon the impact process is investigated in the frame of the Hertzian impact theory. The first order asymptotic approximation for the contact force in a three-dimensional dynamic contact problem with the slowly moving contact zone boundary is obtained and the corresponding asymptotic model of impact is developed. The motion of the indenter as it indents and rebounds from the elastic medium is analytically described. Explicit formulas are derived for the peak indentation depth, contact time, and rebound velocity as functions of the initial impact velocity, indenter mass, and characteristics of the elastic half-space.  相似文献

The scattering of time-harmonic plane longitudinal, shear, and Rayleigh waves by a crack in two dimensions embedded in a semi-infinite homogeneous isotropic elastic half-space has been studied in this paper. Two problems have been considered: a straight crack and a Y-shaped crack. A hybrid numerical technique combining a multipolar representation of the scattered field in the half-space with the finite element method has been used to obtain the far-field displacements as well as the stress-intensity factors for the crack tips. Results for vertical displacement on the free surface of the half-space are presented in this paper.  相似文献

The present paper is aimed at studying the effect of rotation on the general model of the equations of generalized thermo-microstretch for a homogeneous isotropic elastic half-space solid whose surface is subjected to a Mode-I Crack problem considered. The problem is in the context of the generalized thermoelasticity Lord-?hulman??s (L-S) theory with one relaxation time, as well as the classical dynamical coupled theory (CD) The normal mode analysis is used to obtain the exact expressions for the displacement components, force stresses, temperature, couple stresses and microstress distribution. The variations of the considered variables through the horizontal distance are illustrated graphically. Comparisons are made with the results in the presence and absence of rotation and in the presence and absence of microstretch constants between the two theories.  相似文献

根据两球体单峰同时受法向、切向载荷时微滑切向应力的分布以及MB模型,给出了界面的总切向接触静弹性条件刚度、总条件法向载荷的解析解。将切向接触静弹性条件刚度的解析解嵌入到有限元软件中,获得了整机的理论模态。以一款八四七厂华中工学院XHK5140型自动换刀计算机数控立式镗铣床上的结合部为研究对象,通过实验对解析解进行了定量验证。研究结果表明:在理论振型与实验振型一致的条件下,界面模型的相对误差在-19.2%~16.8%之间。  相似文献

Green’s functions of a transversely isotropic half-space overlaid by a thin coating layer are analytically obtained. The surface coating is modeled by a Kirchhoff thin plate perfectly bonded to the half-space. With the aid of superposition technique and employing appropriate displacement potential functions, the Green’s functions are expressed in two parts; (i) a closed-form part corresponding to the transversely isotropic half-space with surface kinematic constraints, and (ii) a numerically evaluated part reflecting the interaction between the half-space and the plate in the form of semi-infinite integrals. Some limiting cases of the problem such as surface-stiffened isotropic half-space, Boussinesq and Cerruti loadings, and extremely flexible and rigid plates are also studied. For the classical Cerruti problem in transversely isotropic materials, the effects of incompressibility are highlighted. Numerical results are provided to show the effects of material anisotropy, relative stiffness factor, and load buried depth. The obtained Green’s functions play a key role in treating further mixed-boundary-value problems in surface stiffened transversely isotropic half-spaces.  相似文献

Diffraction of plane harmonic waves by three-dimensional surface irregularities is investigated through the use of an indirect boundary integral equation method. The irregularity of an arbitrary shape is embedded in an elastic half-space and subjected to incident P, SV, SH, and Rayleigh waves. The material of the half-space is assumed to be linear, weakly anelastic, homogeneous and isotropic.

The accuracy of the method is demonstrated through comparison of the results with existing axisymmetric solutions. Several numerical examples for non-axisymmetric canyons are presented. The resulting amplification patterns exhibit strong sensitivity on type and angle of the incident waves and on the location of the observation point. Systematic comparisons of three-dimensional and corresponding two-dimensional models demonstrate similarity of the amplification pattern. The amplification is larger in some three-dimensional models than in two-dimensional ones. Strong coupling between SH and P-SV modes is observed for off-azimuthal incident waves. This phenomenon is specially pronounced for incident SH waves and it is intrinsic to three-dimensional scattering.  相似文献

A general model of the equation of Green-Naghdi theory (G-N), which is applied to study the influence of reinforcement on the total deformation for an infinite space weakened by a finite linear opening thermal shock, is solved. We study the influence of reinforcement on the total deformation of a rotating thermo-elastic half-space and the mutual interaction under the influence of gravity. The material is homogeneous, isotropic and elastic half-space. The methodology applied here consists of the use of a normal mode analysis to obtain the exact expressions for the temperature, the displacement components, and the stress components. Some particular cases are also discussed in this context. The deformation of a body depends on the nature of the force applied as well as the type of boundary conditions. The variations of the variables considered with the horizontal distance are illustrated graphically. Comparisons are made with the results predicted by the type II and type III cases in the presence and in the absence of the effect of fiber reinforcement. It is found that reinforcement, rotation, and gravity have great effect on the distribution of the field quantities.  相似文献

提出了基于积分变换、对偶方程与精细积分算法求解多层地基任意形状刚性基础的动力刚度问题. 首先在频率波数域内圆柱坐标体系中利用圆形微元的对称与反对称特性建立多层地基中格林影响函数的波动方程,然后将应力和位移关系表示成对偶形式进行精细积分求解以提高计算精度和稳定性. 再将任意形状刚性基础与地基的交界面离散化为一系列圆形微元,利用格林影响函数建立其平动与转动动力刚度的矩阵方程. 该求解方法高效、准确并且计算稳定,适于任意复杂多层地基任意形状基础动力刚度的计算.   相似文献

By virtue of a complete set of displacement potential functions and Hankel transform, the analytical expressions of Green’s function of an exponentially graded elastic transversely isotropic half-space is presented. The given solution is analytically in exact agreement with the existing solution for a homogeneous transversely isotropic half-space. Employing a robust asymptotic decomposition technique, the Green’s function is decomposed to the closed-form Green’s function corresponding to the homogeneous transversely isotropic half-space and grading term with strong decaying integrands. This representation is very useful for numerical methods which are based on boundary-integral formulations such as boundary-element method since the numerically evaluated part is not responsible for the singularity. The high accuracy of the proposed numerical scheme is confirmed by some numerical examples.  相似文献

A cylindrical system of vector functions, the stiffness matrix method and the corresponding recursive algorithm are proposed to investigate the static response of transversely isotropic,layered magneto-electro-elastic(MEE) structures over a homogeneous half-space substrate subjected to circular surface loading. In terms of the system of vector functions, we expand the extended displacements and stresses, and deduce two sets of ordinary differential equations, which are related to the expansion coeficients. The solution to one of the two sets of these ordinary differential equations can be evaluated by using the stiffness matrix method and the corresponding recursive algorithm. These expansion coeficients are then integrated by adaptive Gaussian quadrature to obtain the displacements and stresses in the physical domain. Two types of surface loads, mechanical pressure and electric loading,are considered in the numerical examples. The calculated results show that the proposed technique is stable and effective in analyzing the layered half-space MEE structures under surface loading.  相似文献

提出了一种计算出平面SH波斜入射时弹性水平成层半空间中自由波场时域计算的一维化有 限元方法. 在进行有限元网格划分时,竖向单元取满足有限元模拟精度的任意尺寸,水平向 网格尺寸由时间离散步长和水平视波速确定,并自动进行虚拟网格划分. 基底设置人工边界, 并将波动输入转化为等效荷载施加在边界节点上. 然后将集中质量有限元法和中心差分法相 结合建立节点运动方程,并将水平方向相邻节点的运动用该节点相邻时刻的运动表示,从而 将求解节点运动的二维方程组转化为一维方程组. 求解此方程组,即得到自由场中竖向一列 节点的运动. 最后根据行波传播的特点,可方便地确定全部自由波场. 理论分析和数值算例 表明,该方法具有较高的精度和良好的稳定性.  相似文献

This investigation is concerned with a mathematical analysis of an elastic circular cylindrical pile embedded in a transversely isotropic half-space under lateral dynamic excitations. A combination of time-harmonic horizontal shear force and moment are applied at the top end of the pile. The boundary value problem is formulated by decomposing the pile-medium system into a fictitious pile and an extended transversely isotropic half-space. A Fredholm integral equation of the second kind governs the interaction problem, whose solution is then computed numerically. Selected results for dynamic compliance bending moment, displacement and slope profiles are presented for different transversely isotropic half-spaces to portray the influence of degree of anisotropy of the medium on various aspects of the solution.  相似文献

Summary The paper presents a study of time-harmonic vibration of a half-space possessing a shear modulus linearly increasing with depth. Completing the previous paper [1], where the time-harmonic vibration of an incompressible half-space has been considered, the problem is now solved for a compressible as well as an incompressible material. The half-space is subjected to a vertical or horizontal surface load. The solution is represented in terms of Fourier-Bessel integrals containing functions of depth coordinate that are expressed through confluent hypergeometric functions. Numerical results concerning surface displacements due to a point force are given for a wide range of frequency variations and degree of non-homogeneity. The results show that, as compared to the homogeneous case, non-homogeneity can considerably increase vibration amplitudes at large distances from the applied force. The pile-soil system is regarded as a visco-elastic half-space embedded pile. Based on the method of continuum mechanics, a nonlinear mathematical model of pile-soil interaction was established-a coupling nonlinear boundary value problem. Under the case of horizontal vibration, the nonlinearly dynamical characteristics of pile applying the axis force were studied in horizontal direction in frequency domain. The effects of parameters, especially the axis force on the stiffness were studied in detail. The numerical results suggest that it is possible that the pile applying an axis force will lose its stability. So,the effect of the axis force on the pile is considered.  相似文献

基于饱和多孔介质理论研究了三维轴对称条件下端承桩在饱和土中的纵向耦合振动. 首先通 过引入势函数对Biot动力固结方程解耦,采用算子分解方法及分离变量法求得饱和土层振动 解,进而利用桩土完全耦合条件得到桩土系统定解. 然后对桩顶的频率和时域响应进行参数 研究,结果表明,桩的长径比和桩土模量比对桩顶动力响应有较大影响,而渗透力对其影响 较小. 最后将幅频及时域反射波理论拟合结果与桩基实测结果加以对比,结果表明理论曲线 与实测曲线规律一致.  相似文献

采用边界元方法研究了半空间中近表面多洞室对矢量波的散射问题,给出了以全空间格林函数为基本解且半空间表面离散的边界积分方程,在这一边界各分方程中,较好的消除了主值积分,在半空间表面进行离散时,采用无限单元与有限单元相结合的方法,大大减少了计算量,提出了精度。  相似文献

The article concerns the problem of bonded contact of a thin, flexible elliptical disk with a transversely isotropic half-space. Three different cases of loading have been considered: (a) the disk is loaded by a transverse force, whose line of action passes through the center of the disk and lies in the plane of the disk; (b) the disk is subjected to a rotation by a torque, whose axis is perpendicular to the surface of the half-space; (c) the half-space with the bonded disk is under uniform stress field at infinity. The problem corresponding to all three cases is reduced, in a unified manner, to a set of coupled two-dimensional integral equations. Closed-form solutions for these equations have been obtained by using Galins theorem.  相似文献

In this work a contact problem for a transversely isotropic half-space indented by a rigid sphere is considered. The axis of symmetry of the half-space is orthogonal to the axis of the applied contact load, which makes the problem fully three-dimensional. An exact solution to this contact problem is constructed. Stresses and strains are obtained in the form of contour integrals in the complex plane with explicitly determined dimensionless integrands. As an illustrative application of the constructed solution, failure beneath the indenter in a unidirectional composite is analyzed.  相似文献
