Studies of the acyclic ligand scaffold H(2)dedpa and its derivatives with the peptide cRGDyK for application in copper radiopharmaceuticals are described. Previously shown to be a superb ligand for (67/68)Ga, the chelate is now shown to coordinate (64)Cu in its derivatized and nonderivatized forms rapidly under mild reaction conditions (10 min, RT, pH 5.5 10 mM sodium acetate buffered solution). The hexadentate, distorted octahedral coordination of H(2)dedpa is confirmed in the corresponding solid state X-ray crystal structure of [Cu(dedpa)]. Cyclic voltammetry determined the reduction potential of [Cu(dedpa)] to be below values found for common bioreductants. Reduction and reoxidation were irreversible but reproducible, indicating a potential change of coordination mode upon reduction of Cu(II) to Cu(I). The thermodynamic stability constant log K(CuL) was determined to be 19.16(5), comparable to other frequently used (64)Cu chelates. Serum stability of the (64)Cu labeled chelate revealed only 3% transchelation/association to serum proteins after 2 h, while the conjugates reveal 10% ([Cu(RGD1)]) and 6% ([Cu(RGD2)]) transchelation at the same time point.  相似文献

A series of cationic lanthanide porphyrinate complexes of the general formula [(Por)Ln(H(2)O)(3)](+) (Ln(3+)=Yb(3+) and Er(3+)) were synthesized in moderate yields through the interaction of meso-pyridyl-substituted porphyrin free bases (H(2)Por) with [Ln{N(SiMe(3))(2)}(3)]·x[LiCl(thf)(3)], and the corresponding neutral derivatives [(Por)Ln(L(OMe))] (L(OMe)(-)=[(η(5)-C(5)H(5))Co{P(=O)(OMe)(2)}(3)](-)) were also prepared from [(Por)Ln(H(2)O)(3)](+) by the addition of the tripodal anion, L(OMe)(-), an effective encapsulating agent for lanthanide ions. Furthermore, the water-soluble lanthanide(III) porphyrinate complexes--including [(cis-DMPyDPP)Yb(H(2)O)(3)]Cl(3) (cis-DMPyDPP=5,10-bis(N-methylpyridinium-4'-y1)-15,20-di(phenyl)porphyrin), [(trans-DMPyDPP)Yb(H(2)O)(3)]Cl(3) (trans-DMPyDPP=5,15-bis(N-methylpyridinium-4'-y1)-10,20-di(phenyl)porphyrin), [(TMPyP)Yb(L(OMe))]I(4), and [(TMPyP)Er(L(OMe))]I(4) (TMPyP=tetrakis(N-methylpyridinium-4-y1)porphyrin)--were obtained by methylation of the corresponding complexes with methyl iodide and unambiguously characterized. The binding interactions and photocleavage activities of the water-soluble lanthanide(III) porphyrinate complexes towards DNA were investigated by UV-visible, fluorescence, and near-infrared luminescence spectroscopy, as well as circular dichroism and gel electrophoresis.  相似文献

Vinyl acetate (VA) and vinyl trifluoroacetate (VA(f)) react with [(NwedgeN)Pd(Me)(L)][X] (M = Pd, Ni, (NwedgeN) = N,N'-1,2-acenaphthylenediylidene bis(2,6-dimethyl aniline), Ar(f) = 3,5-trifluoromethyl phenyl, L = Ar(f)CN, Et2O; X = B(Ar(f))4-, SbF6-) to form pi-adducts 3 and 5 at -40 degrees C. Binding affinities relative to ethylene have been determined. Migratory insertion occurs in a 2,1 fashion (DeltaG++ = 19.4 kcal/mol, 0 degrees C for VA, and 17.4 kcal/mol, -40 degrees C for VA(f)) to yield five-membered chelate complexes [(NwedgeN)Pd(kappa2-CH(Et)(OC(O)-CH3))]+, 4, and [(NwedgeN)Pd(kappa2-CH(Et)(OC(O)CF3))]+, 6. When VA is added to [(NwedgeN)Ni(CH3)]+, an equilibrium mixture of an eta2 olefin complex, 8c, and a kappa-oxygen complex, 8o, results. Insertion occurs from the eta2 olefin complex, 8c (DeltaG++ = 15.5 kcal/mol, -51 degrees C), in both a 2,1 and a 1,2 fashion to generate a mixture of five- and six-membered chelates, 9(2,1) and 9(1,2). VA(f) inserts into the Ni-CH3 bond (-80 degrees C) to form a five-membered chelate with no detectable intermediate. Thermolysis of the Pd chelates results in beta-acetate elimination from 4 (DeltaG++ = 25.5 kcal/mol, 60 degrees C) and beta-trifluoroacetate elimination from 6 (DeltaG = 20.5 kcal/mol, 10 degrees C). The five-membered Ni chelate, 9(2,1), is quite stable at room temperature, but the six-membered chelate, 9(1,2), undergoes beta-elimination at -34 degrees C. Treatment of the OAc(f) containing Pd chelate 6 with ethylene results in complete opening to the pi-complex [(NwedgeN)Pd(kappa2-CH(Et)(OAc(f)))(CH2CH2)]+ (OAc(f) = OC(O)CF3), 18, while reaction of the OAc containing Pd chelate 4 with ethylene establishes an equilibrium between 4 and the open form 16, strongly favoring the closed chelate 4 (DeltaH = -4.1 kcal/mol, DeltaS = -23 eu, K = 0.009 M(-1) at 25 degrees C). The open chelates undergo migratory insertion at much slower rates relative to those of the simple (NwedgeN)Pd(CH3)(CH2CH2)+ analogue. These quantitative studies provide an explanation for the behavior of VA and VA(f) in attempted copolymerizations with ethylene.  相似文献

A new concept for the synthesis of dual-functionalized technetium (Tc) compounds is presented, on the basis of the reactivity of fac-{Tc(VII)O(3)}(+) complexes. The concept combines the "classical" bifunctional chelator (BFC) approach with the new ligand centered labeling strategy of fac-{TcO(3)}(+) complexes with alkenes ((3 + 2)-cycloaddition approach). To evidence this concept, fac-{(99)TcO(3)}(+) model complexes containing functionalized 1,4,7-triazacyclononane (tacn) derivatives N-benzyl-2-(1,4,7-triazonan-1-yl)acetamide (tacn-ba) and 2,2',2″-(1,4,7-triazonane-1,4,7-triyl)triacetic acid (nota·3H) were synthesized and characterized. Whereas [(99)TcO(3)(tacn-ba)](+) [2](+) can be synthesized following a established oxidation procedure starting from the Tc(V) complex [(99)TcO(glyc)(tacn-ba)](+) [1](+), a new synthetic pathway for the synthesis of [(99)TcO(3)(nota)](2-) [5](2-) had to be developed, starting from [(99)Tc(nota·3H)(CO)(3)](+) [4](+) and using sodium perborate tetrahydrate (NaBO(3)·4H(2)O) as oxidizing reagent. While [(99)TcO(3)(nota)](2-) [5](2-) is a very attractive candidate for the development of trisubstituted novel multifunctional radioprobes, (3 + 2)-cycloaddition reactions of [(99)TcO(3)(tacn-ba)](+) [2](+) with 4-vinylbenzenesulfonate (styrene-SO(3)(-)) demonstrated the suitability of monosubstituted tacn derivatives for the new mixed "BFC-(3 + 2)-cycloaddition" approach. Kinetic studies of this reaction lead to the conclusion that the alteration of the electronic structure of the nitrogen donors by, e.g., alkylation can be used to tune the rate of the (3 + 2)-cycloaddition.  相似文献

N-Isopropyl acrylamide (NIPAM), N,N-dimethyl acrylamide (DMAA), and 2-acetamidoethyl acrylate (AcAMEA) were copolymerized with ethylene employing [(P^O)PdMe(DMSO)] (1-DMSO; P^O = κ(2)-P,O-Ar(2)PC(6)H(4)SO(2)O with Ar = 2-MeOC(6)H(4)) as a catalyst precursor. Inhibition studies with nonpolymerizable polar additives show that reversible κ-O-coordination of free amide retards polymerization significantly. Retardation of polymerization increases in the order ethyl acetate ? methyl ethyl sulfone < acetonitrile < N,N-dimethylacetamide ≈ N-methylacetamide ≈ propionic acid < dimethylsulfoxide. Pseudo-first-order rate constants for the insertion into 1-DMSO were determined to increase in the order DMAA < AcAMEA < NIPAM < methyl acrylate. Exposure of 1-DMSO to NIPAM resulted in the formation of consecutive insertion products [(P^O)Pd(C(6)H(11)NO(2))(n)Me] (n ≤ 3), as determined by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. The solid-state structure of the methanol adduct of the 2,1-insertion product of NIPAM into 1-DMSO, [(P^O)Pd{η(1)-CH(CONHiPr)CH(2)CH(3)}(κ(1)-O-MeOD)] (2-MeOD), was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Both 2,1- and 1,2-insertions of DMAA into the Pd-Me bond of a [(P^O)PdMe] fragment occur to afford a ca. 4:1 mixture of chelates [(P^O)Pd{κ(2)-C,O-C(CH(2)CH(3))C(O)NMe(2)}] (3) and [(P^O)Pd{κ(2)-C,O-CH(2)C(CH(3))C(O)NMe(2)}] (4). The four-membered chelate of 3 is opened by coordination of 2,6-lutidine (3 + 2,6-lutidine ? 3-LUT) with ΔH° = -41.8(10.5) kJ and ΔS° = -115(37) J mol(-1) K(-1).  相似文献

A series of new dicobalt complexes of the permethylated macrocyclic hexaamine dithiophenolate ligand H(2)L(Me) have been prepared and investigated in the context of ligand binding and oxidation state changes. The octadentate ligand is an effective dinucleating ligand that supports the formation of bioctahedral complexes with a central N(3)Co(mu-SR)(2)(mu-X)CoN(3) core structure, leaving a free bridging position X for the coordination of the substrates. The acetato- and cinnamato-bridged complexes [(L(Me))Co(II)(2)(mu-O(2)CMe)](+) (2) and [(L(Me))Co(II)(2)(mu-O(2)CCH=CHPh)](+) (5) were prepared by reaction of the mu-Cl complex [(L(Me))Co(II)(2)(mu-Cl)](+) (1) with the corresponding sodium carboxylates in methanol. The electrochemical properties of these and of the methyl carbonate complex [(L(Me))Co(II)(2)(mu-O(2)COMe)](+) (8) were also investigated. All complexes undergo two stepwise oxidations at ca. E(1)(1/2) = +0.22 and at E(2)(1/2) = ca. +0.60 V vs SCE, affording the mixed-valent complexes [(L(Me))Co(II)Co(III)(mu-O(2)CR)](2+) (3, 6, 9) and the fully oxidized Co(III)Co(III) forms [(L(Me))Co(III)(2)(mu-O(2)CR)](3+) (4, 7, 10), respectively. Compounds 3, 6, 9 and 4, 7, 10 refer to acetato-, cinnamato-, and methylcarbonato species, respectively. The Co(II)Co(III) compounds were prepared by comproportionation of the respective Co(II)(2) and Co(III)(2) compounds. The Co(III)Co(III) species were prepared by bromine oxidation of the Co(II)Co(II) forms. The crystal structures of complexes 2.BPh(4).MeCN, 3.(I(3))(2), 5.BPh(4).2MeCN, 6.(ClO(4))(2).EtOH, 7.(ClO(4))(3).MeCN.(H(2)O)(3), and 9.(ClO(4))(2).(MeOH)(2).H(2)O were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography at 210 K. The oxidations occur without gross structural changes of the parent complexes. The Co(II)Co(III) complexes are composed of high-spin Co(II) (d(7)) and low-spin Co(III) (d(6)) ions. The Co(III)Co(III) complexes are diamagnetic. The oxidation reactions affect the binding mode of the substrates. In the Co(II)(2) and Co(II)Co(III) forms the carboxylates bridge the two Co(2+) ions in a symmetric mu-1,3 fashion with uniform C-O bond distances, whereas asymmetric bridging modes, with one short C=O and one long C-O distance, are adopted in the fully oxidized species. This is consistent with the observed shifts in vibrational frequencies for nu(as)(C-O) and nu(s)(C-O) across the series.  相似文献

Somatostatin-based radioligands have been shown to have sensitive imaging properties for neuroendocrine tumours and their metastases. The potential of [(55)Co(dotatoc)] (dotatoc =4,7,10-tricarboxymethyl-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1-ylacetyl-D-Phe-(Cys-Tyr-D-Trp-Lys-Thr-Cys)-threoninol (disulfide bond)) as a new radiopharmaceutical agent for PET has been evaluated. (57)Co was used as a surrogate of the positron emitter (55)Co and the pharmacokinetics of [(57)Co(dotatoc)] were investigated by using two nude mouse models. The somatostatin receptor subtype (sst1-sst5) affinity profile of [(nat)Co(dotatoc)] on membranes transfected with human somatostatin receptor subtypes was assessed by using autoradiographic methods. These studies revealed that [(57)Co(dotatoc)] is an sst2-specific radiopeptide which presents the highest affinity ever found for the sst2 receptor subtype. The rate of internalisation into the AR4-2J cell line also was the highest found for any somatostatin-based radiopeptide. Biodistribution studies, performed in nude mice bearing an AR4-2J tumour or a transfected HEK-sst2 cell-based tumour, showed high and specific uptake in the tumour and in other sst-receptor-expressing tissues, which reflects the high receptor binding affinity and the high rate of internalisation. The pharmacologic differences between [(57)Co(dotatoc)] and [(67)Ga(dotatoc)] are discussed in terms of the structural parameters found for the chelate models [Co(II)(dota)](2-) and [Ga(III)(dota)](-) whose X-ray structures have been determined. Both chelates show six-fold coordination in pseudo-octahedral arrangements.  相似文献

Mu-23, [(C(6)H(15)N(2))(C(6)H(16)N(2))Ga(5)F(6)(H(2)O)(2)(PO(4))(4)] x 4 H(2)O, the first layered fluorinated gallophosphate with a Ga/P molar ratio of 5:4, was obtained in the presence of fluoride ions with 1,4-dimethylpiperazine as an organic template. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 (no. 2) with unit cell parameters a=8.735(11), b=8.864(5), c=12.636(10) A, alpha=98.36(5), beta=100.18(8), gamma=115.84(7) degrees. The layers consist of GaO(2)F(3)(H(2)O), GaO(4)F(2) octahedra, and GaO(4) and PO(4) tetrahedra; these moieties share their oxygen and some of their fluorine atoms. The connectivity scheme of these different polyhedra leads to the formation of eight-membered rings.  相似文献

The iron complexes CpFe(P(Ph)(2)N(Bn)(2))Cl (1-Cl), CpFe(P(Ph)(2)N(Ph)(2))Cl (2-Cl), and CpFe(P(Ph)(2)C(5))Cl (3-Cl)(where P(Ph)(2)N(Bn)(2) is 1,5-dibenzyl-1,5-diaza-3,7-diphenyl-3,7-diphosphacyclooctane, P(Ph)(2)N(Ph)(2) is 1,3,5,7-tetraphenyl-1,5-diaza-3,7-diphosphacyclooctane, and P(Ph)(2)C(5) is 1,4-diphenyl-1,4-diphosphacycloheptane) have been synthesized and characterized by NMR spectroscopy, electrochemical studies, and X-ray diffraction. These chloride derivatives are readily converted to the corresponding hydride complexes [CpFe(P(Ph)(2)N(Bn)(2))H (1-H), CpFe(P(Ph)(2)N(Ph)(2))H (2-H), CpFe(P(Ph)(2)C(5))H (3-H)] and H(2) complexes [CpFe(P(Ph)(2)N(Bn)(2))(H(2))]BAr(F)(4), [1-H(2)]BAr(F)(4), (where BAr(F)(4) is B[(3,5-(CF(3))(2)C(6)H(3))(4)](-)), [CpFe(P(Ph)(2)N(Ph)(2))(H(2))]BAr(F)(4), [2-H(2)]BAr(F)(4), and [CpFe(P(Ph)(2)C(5))(H(2))]BAr(F)(4), [3-H(2)]BAr(F)(4), as well as [CpFe(P(Ph)(2)N(Bn)(2))(CO)]BAr(F)(4), [1-CO]Cl. Structural studies are reported for [1-H(2)]BAr(F)(4), 1-H, 2-H, and [1-CO]Cl. The conformations adopted by the chelate rings of the P(Ph)(2)N(Bn)(2) ligand in the different complexes are determined by attractive or repulsive interactions between the sixth ligand of these pseudo-octahedral complexes and the pendant N atom of the ring adjacent to the sixth ligand. An example of an attractive interaction is the observation that the distance between the N atom of the pendant amine and the C atom of the coordinated CO ligand for [1-CO]BAr(F)(4) is 2.848 ?, considerably shorter than the sum of the van der Waals radii of N and C atoms. Studies of H/D exchange by the complexes [1-H(2)](+), [2-H(2)](+), and [3-H(2)](+) carried out using H(2) and D(2) indicate that the relatively rapid H/D exchange observed for [1-H(2)](+) and [2-H(2)](+) compared to [3-H(2)](+) is consistent with intramolecular heterolytic cleavage of H(2) mediated by the pendant amine. Computational studies indicate a low barrier for heterolytic cleavage of H(2). These mononuclear Fe(II) dihydrogen complexes containing pendant amines in the ligands mimic crucial features of the distal Fe site of the active site of the [FeFe]-hydrogenase required for H-H bond formation and cleavage.  相似文献

Single crystal X-ray structure determinations of [(n-C5H11)4N]3[H3V10O28].2(CH3)2CO (TAA-acetone), [(n-C5H11)4N]8[H3V10O28]2[H4V10O28].7C4H8O2 (TAA-dioxane), [(n-C5H11)4N]3[H3V10O28] (TAAh) and [(n-C6H13)4N]2[H4V10O28].4C4H8O2 (THA-dioxane) revealed that protonation and hydrogen bond formation of decavanadate anions in their tetraalkylammonium salts are influenced by the nature of the solvent molecules incorporated as guests into the crystals. When crystallized with acetone molecules, the decavanadate anion forms a self-associated hydrogen-bonded dimer of ([H3V10O28](3-))2 to hide the protons from the aprotic protophobic acetone molecules. When crystallized with 1,4-dioxane molecules, the decavanadate anion exposes its protons to the aprotic protophilic 1,4-dioxane molecules to form a hydrogen-bond assisted solvation complex of ((C4H8O2)4...[H4V10O28)](2-)). Size effects of the tetraalkylammonium cations on crystallizing these hydrogen-bonded assemblies were also examined.  相似文献

Five salts, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](BPh(4)).CH(3)OH, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](PF(6)).CH(2)Cl(2), [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Br.3.5H(2)O, and [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.0.1H(2)O, have been crystallized and examined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. While the internal structure of the cation is similar in all salts, the interactions between cations vary in the different salts. Yellow [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](BPh(4)).CH(3)OH and red [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](PF(6)) form face-to-face dimers with Pt...Pt separations of 3.6617(6) and 3.340(2) A, respectively. In the latter, hydrogen bonding of the chelating ligand to adjacent anions facilitates the close approach of pairs of cations. The salts [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Br.3.5H(2)O, and [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.0.1H(2)O form columnar structures with Pt...Pt separations that range from 3.2514(5) to 3.5643(6) A. The water molecules and anions surround these columns and form bridges between neighboring columns. The electronic spectra of aqueous solutions of [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O show spectral changes upon increasing concentrations of the platinum complex that are indicative of the formation of a dimer in solution with an equilibrium constant for dimerization of 23(1).  相似文献

The C-Cl bonds of ortho-chlorinated benzamides Cl-ortho-C(6)H(4)C(=O)NHR (R = Me (1), nBu (2), Ph (3), (4-Me)Ph (4) and (4-Cl)Ph (5)) were successfully activated by tetrakis(trimethylphosphine)nickel(0) and tetrakis(trimethylphosphine)cobalt(0). The four-coordinate nickel(II) chloride complexes trans-[(C(6)H(4)C([double bond, length as m-dash]O)NHR)Ni(PMe(3))(2)Cl] (R = Me (6), nBu (7), Ph (8) and (4-Me)Ph (9)) as C-Cl bond activation products were obtained without coordination of the amide groups. In the case of 2, the ionic penta-coordinate cobalt(II) chloride [(C(6)H(4)C(=O)NHnBu)Co(PMe(3))(3)]Cl (10) with the [C(phenyl), O(amide)]-chelate coordination as the C-Cl bond activation product was isolated. Under similar reaction conditions, for the benzamides 3-5, hexa-coordinate bis-chelate cobalt(III) complexes (C(6)H(4)C(=O)NHR)Co(Cl-ortho-C(6)H(4)C(=O)NR)(PMe(3))(2) (11-13) were obtained via the reaction with [Co(PMe(3))(4)]. Complexes 11-13 have both a five-membered [C,N]-coordinate chelate ring and a four-membered [N,O]-coordinate chelate ring with two trimethyphosphine ligands in the axial positions. Phosphonium salts [Me(3)P(+)-ortho-C(6)H(4)C(=O)NHR]Cl(-) (R = Ph (14) and (4-Me)Ph (15)) were isolated by reaction of complexes 8 and 9 as a starting material under 1 bar of CO at room temperature. The crystal and molecular structures of complexes 6, 7 and 9-12 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A series of Ni(II) carboxylate complexes, supported by a chelate ligand having either secondary hydrophobic phenyl groups (6-Ph2TPA, N,N-bis((6-phenyl-2-pyridyl)methyl)-N-((2-pyridyl)methyl)amine) or hydrogen bond donors (bnpapa, N,N-bis((6-neopentylamino-2-pyridyl)methyl)-N-((2-pyridyl)methyl)amine), have been prepared and characterized. X-ray crystallographic studies of [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(O2C(CH2)2SCH3)]ClO4.CH2Cl2 (4.CH2Cl2) and [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(O2CCH2SCH3)]ClO(4).1.5CH2Cl2 (5.1.5CH2Cl2) revealed that each complex contains a distorted octahedral Ni(II) center and a bidentate carboxylate ligand. A previously described benzoate complex ([(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(O2CPh)]ClO4 (3)) has similar structural characteristics. Recrystallization of dry powdered samples of 3, 4.0.5CH2Cl2, and 5 from wet organic solvents yielded a second series of crystalline Ni(II) carboxylate complexes having a coordinated monodentate carboxylate ligand ([(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2CPh)]ClO4 (6), [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2C(CH2)2SCH3)]ClO4.0.2CH2Cl2 (7.0.2CH2Cl2), [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2CCH2SCH3)]ClO4 (8)) which is stabilized by a hydrogen-bonding interaction with a Ni(II)-bound water molecule. In the cationic portions of 7.0.2CH2Cl2 and 8, weak CH/pi interactions are also present between the methylene units of the carboxylate ligands and the phenyl appendages of the 6-Ph2TPA ligands. A formate complex of the formulation [(6-Ph2TPA)Ni(H2O)(O2CH)]ClO4 (9) was isolated and characterized. The mononuclear Ni(II) carboxylate complexes [(bnpapa)Ni(O2CPh)]ClO4 (10), [(bnpapa)Ni(O2C(CH2)2SCH3)]ClO4 (11), [(bnpapa)Ni(O2CCH2SCH3)]ClO4 (12), and [(bnpapa)Ni(O2CH)]ClO4 (13) were isolated and characterized. Two crystalline solvate forms of 10 (10.CH3CN and 10.CH2Cl2) were examined by X-ray crystallography. In both, the distorted octahedral Ni(II) center is ligated by a bidentate benzoate ligand, one Ni(II)-bound oxygen atom of which accepts two hydrogen bonds from the supporting bnpapa chelate ligand. Spectroscopic studies of 10(-13) suggest that all contain a bidentate carboxylate ligand, even after exposure to water. The combined results of this work enable the formulation of a proposed pathway for carboxylate product release from the active site Ni(II) center in acireductone dioxygenase.  相似文献

The water exchange process on [(CO)(3)Re(H(2)O)(3)](+) (1) was kinetically investigated by (17)O NMR. The acidity dependence of the observed rate constant k(obs) was analyzed with a two pathways model in which k(ex) (k(ex)(298) = (6.3 +/- 0.1) x 10(-3) s(-1)) and k(OH) (k(OH)(298)= 27 +/- 1 s(-1)) denote the water exchange rate constants on 1 and on the monohydroxo species [(CO)(3)Re(I)(H(2)O)(2)(OH)], respectively. The kinetic contribution of the basic form was proved to be significant only at [H(+)] < 3 x 10(-3) M. Above this limiting [H(+)] concentration, kinetic investigations can be unambiguously conducted on the triaqua cation (1). The variable temperature study has led to the determination of the activation parameters Delta H(++)(ex) = 90 +/- 3 kJ mol(-1), Delta S(++)(ex) = +14 +/- 10 J K(-1) mol(-1), the latter being indicative of a dissociative activation mode for the water exchange process. To support this assumption, water substitution reaction on 1 has been followed by (17)O/(1)H/(13)C/(19)F NMR with ligands of various nucleophilicities (TFA, Br(-), CH(3)CN, Hbipy(+), Hphen(+), DMS, TU). With unidentate ligands, except Br(-), the mono-, bi-, and tricomplexes were formed by water substitution. With bidentate ligands, bipy and phen, the chelate complexes [(CO)(3)Re(H(2)O)(bipy)]CF(3)SO(3) (2) and [(CO)(3)Re(H(2)O)(phen)](NO(3))(0.5)(CF(3)SO(3))(0.5).H(2)O (3) were isolated and X-ray characterized. For each ligand, the calculated interchange rate constants k'(i) (2.9 x 10(-3) (TFA) < k'(I) < 41.5 x 10(-3) (TU) s(-1)) were found in the same order as the water exchange rate constant k(ex), the S-donor ligands being slightly more reactive. This result is indicative of I(d) mechanism for water exchange and complex formation, since larger variations of k'(i) are expected for an associatively activated mechanism.  相似文献

The isolation, crystal structure, and nonaqueous solution characteristics of the first trinuclear vanadate are presented. The crystal structure reveals a six-membered cyclic arrangement of alternating vanadium and oxygen atoms for the anion of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)). The (51)V NMR spectrum of this compound in CD(3)CN exhibits multiple peaks. The relative intensities of each resonance can be altered by concentration and temperature changes, the later of which are reversible. Addition of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N]Br and NaClO(4) also perturbs the equilibria between species observed. Conductivity data for [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) in CH(3)CN as a function of concentration display pronounced curvature and indicate formation of a neutral species in solution at the highest concentrations studied. Stoichiometric mixtures of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) with the known vanadates [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(HV(4)O(12)), [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(5)O(14)), and [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(H(3)V(10)O(28)) are prepared and examined by (51)V NMR. Equilibration between the various vanadates is observed and characterized. Resonances for these known vanadates, however, cannot be used to identify the peaks found for [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)), alone, in solution. The existence of ion pairs in acetonitrile is the only interpretation for the solution behavior of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) consistent with all data. As such, we can directly observe each possible ion pairing state by (51)V NMR: (V(3)O(9))(3-) at -555 ppm, [[(C(4)H(9))(4)N](V(3)O(9))] (2-) at -569 ppm, [[(C(4)H(9))(4)N](2)(V(3)O(9))](-) at -576 ppm, and [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) at -628 ppm. To the best of our knowledge, [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) presents the first case in which every possible ion paired state can be observed directly from a parent polyion. Isolation and characterization of this simple metal oxo moiety may now facilitate efforts to design functional polyoxometalates.  相似文献

Bis(β-ketoimine) ligands, [R{N(H)C(Me)-CHC(Me)═O}(2)] (L(1)H(2), R = (CH(2))(2); L(2)H(2), R = (CH(2))(3)), linked by ethylene (L(1)) and propylene (L(2)) bridges have been used to form aluminum, gallium, and indium chloride complexes [Al(L(1))Cl] (3), [Ga(L(n))Cl] (4, n = 1; 6, n = 2) and [In(L(n))Cl] (5, n = 1; 7, n = 2). Ligand L(1) has also been used to form a gallium hydride derivative [Ga(L(1))H] (8), but indium analogues could not be made. β-ketoimine ligands, [Me(2)N(CH(2))(3)N(H)C(R')-CHC(R')═O] (L(3)H, R' = Me; L(4)H, R' = Ph), with a donor-functionalized Lewis base have also been synthesized and used to form gallium and indium alkyl complexes, [Ga(L(3))Me(2)] (9) and [In(L(3))Me(2)] (10), which were isolated as oils. The related gallium hydride complexes, [Ga(L(n))H(2)] (11, n = 3; 12, n = 4), were also prepared, but again no indium hydride species could be made. The complexes were characterized mainly by NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The β-ketoiminate gallium hydride compounds (8 and 11) have been used as single-source precursors for the deposition of Ga(2)O(3) by aerosol-assisted (AA)CVD with toluene as the solvent. The quality of the films varied according to the precursor used, with the complex [Ga(L(1))H] (8) giving by far the best quality films. Although the films were amorphous as deposited, they could be annealed at 1000 °C to form crystalline Ga(2)O(3). The films were analyzed by powder XRD, SEM, and EDX.  相似文献

N,N'-ethylenedi-L-cysteine (EC) and its indium(III) and gallium(III) complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal structures of the ligand and the complexes have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. EC.2HBr.2H(2)O (C(8)H(22)Br(2)N(2)O(6)S(2)) crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2 with a = 12.776(3) ?, b = 13.735(2) ?, c = 5.1340 (10) ?, Z = 2, and V = 900.9(3) ?(3). The complexes Na[M(III)EC].2H(2)O (C(8)H(16)MN(2)O(6)S(2)Na) are isostructural for M = In and Ga, crystallizing in the tetragonal space group P4(2)2(1)2 with the following lattice constants for In, (Ga): a = 10.068(2) ?, (9.802(2) ?), b = 10.068(2) ?, (9.802(2) ?), c = 14.932(2) ?, (15.170(11) ?), Z = 4 (4), and V = 1513.6(5) ?(3), (1457.5(11) ?(3)). In both metal complexes, the metal atoms (In and Ga) are coordinated by six donor atoms (N(2)S(2)O(2)) in distorted octahedral coordination geometries in which two sulfur atoms and two nitrogen atoms occupy the equatorial positions, and the axial positions are occupied by two oxygen atoms of two carboxylate groups. The structures of the complexes previously predicted by molecular mechanics are compared with the crystal structures of the Ga(III) and In(III) complexes obtained experimentally. In contrast to the oxygen donors in phenolate-containing ligands, such as 1,2-ethylenebis((o-hydroxyphenyl)glycine) (EHPG) and N,N'-bis(o-hydroxybenzyl)ethylenediamine-N,N'-diacetic acid (HBED), the thiolate donors of EC enhances affinity for In(III) relative to Ga(III). The following stability sequence has been obtained: In(III) > Ga(III) > Ni(II) > Zn(II) > Cd(II) > Pb(II) > Co(II). Evidence was also obtained for several protonated and hydroxo species of the complexes of both divalent and trivalent metals, where the corresponding protonation constants (K(MHL)) decrease with increasing stability of the chelate, ML(n)(-)(4), where M(n)()(+) represent the metal ion.  相似文献

Eu(II) complexes are potential candidates for pO(2)-responsive contrast agents in magnetic resonance imaging. In this regard, we have characterized two novel macrocyclic Eu(II) chelates, [Eu(II)(DOTA)(H(2)O)](2-) and [Eu(II)(TETA)](2-) (H(4)DOTA=1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid, H(4)TETA=1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane-1,4,8,11-tetraacetic acid) in terms of redox and thermodynamic complex stability, proton relaxivity, water exchange, rotation and electron spin relaxation. Additionally, solid-state structures were determined for the Sr(II) analogues. They revealed no inner-sphere water in the TETA and one inner-sphere water molecule in the DOTA complex. This hydration pattern is retained in solution, as the (17)O chemical shifts and (1)H relaxation rates proved for the corresponding Eu(II) compounds. The thermodynamic complex stability, determined from the formal redox potential and by pH potentiometry, of [Eu(II)(DOTA)(H(2)O)](2-) (lg K(Eu(II))=16.75) is the highest among all known Eu(II) complexes, whereas the redox stabilities of both [Eu(II)(DOTA)(H(2)O)](2-) and [Eu(II)(TETA)](2-) are inferior to that of 18-membered macrocyclic Eu(II) chelates. Variable-temperature (17)O NMR, NMRD and EPR studies yielded the rates of water exchange, rotation and electron spin relaxation. Water exchange on [Eu(II)(DOTA)(H(2)O)](2-) is remarkably fast (k298(ex)=2.5 x 10(9) s(-1)). The near zero activation volume (DeltaV++ =+0.1+/-1.0 cm(3) mol(-1)), determined by variable-pressure (17)O NMR spectroscopy, points to an interchange mechanism. The fast water exchange can be related to the low charge density on Eu(II), to an unexpectedly long M-O(water) distance (2.85 A) and to the consequent interchange mechanism. Electron spin relaxation is considerably slower on [Eu(II)(DOTA)(H(2)O)](2-) than on the linear [Eu(II)(DTPA)(H(2)O)](3-) (H(5)DTPA=diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid), and this difference is responsible for its 25 percent higher proton relaxivity (r(1)=4.32 mM(-1) s(-1) for [Eu(II)(DOTA)(H(2)O)](2-) versus 3.49 mM(-1) s(-1) for [Eu(II)(DTPA)(H(2)O)](3-); 20 MHz, 298 K).  相似文献

We describe the synthesis, structure, and reactivity of low-coordinate Al-alkyl and -alkoxide cationic complexes incorporating the sterically bulky aminophenolate bidentate ligand 6-(CH(2)NMe(2))-2-CPh(3)-4-Me-C(6)H(2)O- (N,O). These complexes are derived from the ionization of neutral dialkyl Al complexes (N,O)Al2) (1 a, R=Me; 1 b, R=iBu), readily obtained by alkane elimination between AlR3 and the corresponding aminophenol ligand, with the alkyl abstracting reagents B(C(6)F(5))3 and [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))4]. The reactions of 1 a,b with B(C(6)F(5))3 yield complicated mixtures or decomposition products, however the ionization of the Al-diisobutyl derivative 1 b with [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))4] affords a stable four-coordinate Al-PhBr cationic adduct [(N,O)Al(iBu)(PhBr)]+ (3+), as deduced from elemental analysis data. Complex 3+ readily coordinates Lewis bases such as THF to form the corresponding adduct [(N,O)Al(iBu)(thf)]+ (4+), and also rapidly chain-transfers with 1-hexene to yield the three-coordinate Al-hexyl cation [(N,O)Al-hexyl]+ (5+). Both cations 3+ and 5+ slowly dimerize to form unprecedented organoaluminum dications [(N,O)AlR+]2 (3'++, R=iBu; 5'++, R=hexyl) as deduced from X-ray crystallographic analysis. Cation 3+ reacts quickly with iPrOH to form a stable Lewis acid/base adduct [(N,O)Al(iBu)(HOiPr)]+ (6+), which constitutes the first X-ray characterized adduct between an Al-alkyl complex and a simple ROH. The Al-ROH proton in 6+ is readily abstracted by NMe(2)Ph to form the neutral isopropoxide Al complex [(N,O)Al(iBu)(OiPr)] (7). Upon reaction with THF, cation 6+ undergoes an intramolecular proton transfer to yield the ammonium Al-THF complex [(eta1-HN,O)Al(iBu)(OiPr)(thf)] (8 b+), in which the aminophenolate is eta1-coordinated to the Al center. Cation 8 b+ can then be converted to the desired Al-alkoxide derivative [(N,O)Al(OiPr)(thf)](+) (10+), by an intramolecular protonolysis reaction, as confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The synthesized Al-alkyl cations form robust four-coordinate adducts in the presence of cyclic esters such as epsilon-caprolactone and (D,L)-lactide, but no insertion chemistry occurs, illustrating the poor ability of the Al-R+ moiety to ring-open. In contrast, the Al-alkoxide cation 10+ polymerizes epsilon-caprolactone in a controlled manner with excellent activity, but is inactive in the polymerization of (D,L)-lactide and L-lactide. Control experiments with L-lactide show that cation 10+ ring-opens L-lactide to yield a robust five-coordinated Al--lactate cation [(N,O)Al(eta2-L-lactate-OiPr)(thf)]+ (13+), derived from a monoinsertion of L-lactide into the Al--OiPr bond of 10+, that does not further react. Cation 13+ may be regarded as a structurally characterized close mimic of the initial intermediate in the ring opening polymerization (ROP), of lactides by [{LX}M(OR)(L)] (where LX-=bidentate monoanionic ligand and L=labile ligand) metal complex initiators.  相似文献

Several new cobalt(III) complexes containing (3-aminopropyl)dimethylphosphine (pdmp) have been prepared, and their molecular structures have been determined. A dichloro complex of trans(Cl,Cl)-cis(P,P)-[CoCl(2)(pdmp)(2)]PF(6) (1) was prepared from trans-[CoCl(2)(py)(4)]Cl.6H(2)O and pdmp. X-Ray crystallography confirmed the (C(2))-chair(2) conformation of two six-membered pdmp chelate rings in 1, while the analogous 1,3-bis(dimethylphosphino)propane (dmpp) complex trans-[CoCl(2)(dmpp)(2)]ClO(4) (3) exhibited the (D(2d))-twist(2) conformation. Substitution reactions of 1 for ethane-1,2-diamine (en), pentane-2,4-dionate (acac), and N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamate (dtc) gave the mixed-ligand tris(chelate)-type complexes of [Co(en)(2)(pdmp)]Cl(2)(PF(6)) (5), [Co(acac)(pdmp)(2)](PF(6))(2) (7), and [Co(dtc)(3-n)(pdmp)(n)](PF(6))(n) [n = 1 (9) or 2 (10)], respectively. The conformer of the complex cation in 5 was assigned as lel.ob.chair by X-ray analysis. In the case of the acac complex 7, both trans(P,N) (7a) and trans(N,N) (7b) isomers were isolated, and the complex cations were characterized as syn-chair(2) and anti-chair(2) conformers, respectively, with respect to the six-membered pdmp chelate rings. These conformers coincide with the most stable ones anticipated by the DFT optimum geometry calculations. In the crystal structure of trans(P,N)-[Co(dtc)(pdmp)(2)](BPh(4))(2) (10') one of the pdmp chelate rings adopted a skew-boat (twist) conformation, which reduced the intramolecular steric ring-ring interaction effectively. The DFT optimized geometries for several isomers and/or conformers of [CoCl(2)(pdmp)(2)](+) were compared.  相似文献
