This Letter is concerned with stability analysis problem for uncertain stochastic neural networks with discrete interval and distributed time-varying delays. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded and the delay is assumed to be time-varying and belong to a given interval, which means that the lower and upper bounds of interval time-varying delays are available. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and stochastic stability theory, delay-interval dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Some stability criteria are formulated by means of the feasibility of a linear matrix inequality (LMI) and by introducing some free-weighting matrices. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the less conservatism and effectiveness of the proposed LMI conditions.  相似文献

In this Letter, a class of fuzzy Cohen-Grossberg neural networks (FCGNNs) with time-varying delays is investigated. With removing some restrictions on the amplification functions, a new nonlinear delay differential inequality is established, which improves previously known criteria. By using the properties of M-cone and a generalization of Barbǎlat's lemma, the boundedness and asymptotic behavior for the solution of the inequality are obtained. Applying this nonlinear delay differential inequality, a series of new and useful criteria are obtained to ensure the existence of global attracting set and invariant set for FCGNNs with time-varying delays. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

This Letter studies synchronization of delayed fuzzy cellular neural networks with all the parameters unknown. To enhance the coupled strength dynamically and be more suitable for the reality, we add fuzzy theory to the traditional cellular neural networks. By the Lyapunov-Lasall principle of functional differential equations, some new stability criteria are obtained via adaptive control. To the best of our knowledge, there has few work studying fuzzy cellular neural networks. Moreover, the approaches developed here extend the ideas and techniques derived in recent literatures. In the end, an example and its simulation were given to illustrate the simpleness and effectiveness of our main results.  相似文献

This Letter considers the problem of delay-range-dependent stability for fuzzy bi-directional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying interval delays. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory, the delay-range-dependent stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By constructing new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, stability conditions are dependent on the upper and lower bounds of the delays, which is made possible by using some advanced techniques for achieving delay dependence. In this paper,the global stability of Takagi-Sugeno (TS) uncertain stochastic fuzzy recurrent neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays (TSUSFRNNs) is considered.A novel LMI-based stability criterion is obtained by using Lyapunov functional theory to guarantee the asymptotic stability of TSUSFRNNs.The proposed stability conditions are demonstrated through numerical examples.Furthermore,the supplementary requirement that the time derivative of time-varying delays must be smaller than one is removed.Comparison results are demonstrated to show that the proposed method is more able to guarantee the widest stability region than the other methods available in the existing literature.  相似文献

This Letter deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust exponential stability in mean square for a class of uncertain stochastic Hopfield neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the stochastic stability theory, delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Because of introducing some free-weighting matrices to develop the stability criteria, the proposed stability conditions have less conservatism. In this Letter, we are concerned with the mean square exponential stability problem of an impulsive control stochastic system with time-varying delay. By employing the formula for the variation of parameters and estimating the Cauchy matrix, several criteria on mean square exponential stability are derived and the exponential convergence rate is estimated. The obtained criteria can be applied to stabilize the unstable continuous stochastic system by utilizing impulsive control. In this Letter fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays are studied. Sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of equilibrium point are established by using the theory of topological degree and applying the properties of nonsingular M-matrix. In this Letter, the mean-square exponential stability problem for stochastic Hopfield neural networks with both discrete and distributed time-varying delays is investigated. By choosing a modified Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a delay-dependent criterion is established such that the stochastic neural network is mean-square exponentially stable. The derivative of discrete time-varying delay h(t) satisfies and the decay rate β can be any finite positive value without any other constraints. The assumptions given in this Letter are more general than the conventional assumptions (i.e., and β satisfies a transcendental equation or an inequality). In this paper, we are concerned with input-to-state stability of a class of memristive bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with variable time delays. Based on a nonsmooth analysis and set-valued maps, some novel sufficient conditions are obtained for the input-to-state stability of such networks, which extended some known results as particular cases. This paper presents the stability analysis for a class of neural networks with time varying delays that are represented by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) model. The main results given here focus on the stability criteria using a new Lyapunov functional. New relaxed conditions and new linear matrix inequality-based designs are proposed that outperform the previous results found in the literature. Numerical examples are provided to show that the achieved conditions are less conservative than the existing ones in the literature.  相似文献
