In this Letter, the concept of practical synchronization is introduced and the chaos synchronization of uncertain Genesio-Tesi chaotic systems with deadzone nonlinearity is investigated. Based on the time-domain approach, a tracking control is proposed to realize chaos synchronization for the uncertain Genesio-Tesi chaotic systems with deadzone nonlinearity. Moreover, the guaranteed exponential convergence rate and convergence radius can be pre-specified. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the obtained result.  相似文献

In this Letter, an adaptive control scheme is developed to study the anti-synchronization behavior between two identical and different chaotic systems with unknown parameters. This adaptive anti-synchronization controller is designed based on Lyapunov stability theory and an analytic expression of the controller with its adaptive laws of parameters is shown. The adaptive anti-synchronization between two identical systems (Chen system) and different systems (Genesio and Lü systems) are taken as two illustrative examples to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations are shown to verify the results.  相似文献

This Letter studies the exponential stability for a class of neural networks (NNs) with both discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Under weaker assumptions on the activation functions, by defining a more general type of Lyapunov functionals and developing a new convex combination technique, new less conservative and less complex stability criteria are established to guarantee the global exponential stability of the discussed NNs. The obtained conditions are dependent on both discrete and distributed delays, are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and contain fewer decision variables. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and the less conservatism of the proposed conditions.  相似文献

In this Letter, the passivity problem of uncertain neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays is investigated. New delay-dependent conditions for this problem are obtained by using a novel Lyapunov functional together with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. This article considers the analytical approximation of limit cycles that may appear in Abel equations written in the normal form. The procedure uses an iterative approach that takes advantage of the contraction mapping theorem. Thus, the obtained sequence exhibits uniform convergence to the target periodic solution. The effectiveness of the technique is illustrated through the approximation of an unstable limit cycle that appears in an Abel equation arising in a tracking control problem that affects an elementary, second-order bilinear power converter.  相似文献

Feedback flashing ratchets are thermal rectifiers that use information on the state of the system to operate the switching on and off of a periodic potential. They can induce directed transport even with symmetric potentials thanks to the asymmetry of the feedback protocol. We investigate here the dynamics of a feedback flashing ratchet when the asymmetry of the ratchet potential and of the feedback protocol favor transport in opposite directions. The introduction of a time delay in the control strategy allows one to nontrivially tune the relative relevance of the competing asymmetries leading to an interesting dynamics. We show that the competition between the asymmetries leads to a current reversal for large delays. For small ensembles of particles current reversal appears as the consequence of the emergence of an open-loop like dynamical regime, while for large ensembles of particles it can be understood as a consequence of the stabilization of quasiperiodic solutions. We also comment on the experimental feasibility of these feedback ratchets and their potential applications.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the consensus problems for a group of interacting agents. First, we analytically establish the explicit expression of the consensus state for the entire group. Second, we prove that the agents of the group under a particular type of nonlinear interaction can reach the consensus state in finite time in the scenarios with fixed and switching undirected topologies. The results are also extended to the case where the topology of the group is directed and satisfies a detailed balance condition on coupling weights. Third, some numerical examples are provided to analyze the influencing factors of the convergence time, that is, the parameter of the particular interaction function and the algebraic connectivity of graphs. Finally, an application of the theoretical results in sensor networks is given, namely, computing the maximum-likelihood estimate of unknown parameters.  相似文献

We propose a simple and direct method for generating travelling wave solutions for nonlinear integrable equations. We illustrate how nontrivial solutions for the KdV, the mKdV and the Boussinesq equations can be obtained from simple solutions of linear equations. We describe how using this method, a soliton solution of the KdV equation can yield soliton solutions for the mKdV as well as the Boussinesq equations. Similarly, starting with cnoidal solutions of the KdV equation, we can obtain the corresponding solutions for the mKdV as well as the Boussinesq equations. Simple solutions of linear equations can also lead to cnoidal solutions of nonlinear systems. Finally, we propose and solve some new families of KdV equations and show how soliton solutions are also obtained for the higher order equations of the KdV hierarchy using this method.  相似文献

This Letter deals with the problem of designing time-delayed feedback controllers (TDFCs) to stabilize unstable equilibrium points and periodic orbits for a class of continuous time-delayed chaotic systems. Harmonic balance approach is used to select the appropriate controller parameters: delay time and feedback gain. By introducing a discrete memristor and periodic sinusoidal functions, a two-dimensional map with coexisting chaos and hyperchaos is constructed. Various coexisting chaotic and hyperchaotic attractors under different Lyapunov exponents are firstly found in this discrete map, along with which other regimes of coexistence such as coexisting chaos, quasi-periodic oscillation, and discrete periodic points are also captured. The hyperchaotic attractors can be flexibly controlled to be unipolar or bipolar by newly embedded constants meanwhile the amplitude can also be controlled in combination with those coexisting attractors. Based on the nonlinear auto-regressive model with exogenous inputs (NARX) for neural network, the dynamics of the memristive map is well predicted, which provides a potential passage in artificial intelligence-based applications.  相似文献

Using a variational method, we derive the optimal population distribution of angular momentum eigenstates for any given population range in a rotational wavepacket within the field-free cyclic state orientation framework. Correspondingly, we devise a train of half-cycle pulse clusters to purposively make the structure of the computed wavepacket approach the optimal population distribution, so that we can now utilize much more powerful means to realize an ideal orientation goal.  相似文献

We demonstrate that anti-synchronization can coexist in two different hyperchaotic systems of ratchets moving in different asymmetric potentials by active control method. By using rigorous mathematical theory, the sufficient condition is drawn for the stability of the error dynamics, where the controllers are designed by using the sum of the relevant variables in hyperchaotic systems. In this Letter, we investigate function projective synchronization of two-cell quantum-CNN chaotic oscillators using nonlinear adaptive controller. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the nonlinear adaptive control law is derived to make the state of two chaotic systems function projective synchronized. Two numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear adaptive control scheme, which is more effective than that in previous literature.  相似文献

This Letter is concerned with bifurcation and chaos control in scalar delayed differential equations with delay parameter τ. By linear stability analysis, the conditions under which a sequence of Hopf bifurcation occurs at the equilibrium points are obtained. The delayed feedback controller is used to stabilize unstable periodic orbits. To find the controller delay, it is chosen such that the Hopf bifurcation remains unchanged. Also, the controller feedback gain is determined such that the corresponding unstable periodic orbit becomes stable. Numerical simulations are used to verify the analytical results.  相似文献

We show that two trains of half-cycle pulses (HCPs) with different amplitudes irradiating alternately on polar molecules can achieve a remarkable enhancement of field-free orientation compared with the case of an equal amplitude HCPs train for the same pulse separation. optimal adjustment of the population distribution on This kind of orientation enhancements is mainly due to an every field-free angular momentum eigenstate, in which the populations on the undesired states of high angular momenta are effectively suppressed, and the populations on the desired states of low angular momenta are correspondingly promoted.  相似文献
