SnS2/polypyrrole (PPy) composites were successfully synthesized by PPy modification of SnS2 via a simple and effective solvothermal and chemical method. The microstructure, morphology, electrical conductivity, PPy content, and electrochemical properties of these materials were characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), four‐point probe technique, thermogavimetry (TG), and constant‐current charge/discharge tests, respectively. The results demonstrate that PPy is tightly coated on the 3D flower‐like SnS2 and that the conductivity of SnS2 /PPy composites can be greatly improved by the PPy modification. The electrochemical results indicate that PPy is not involved in the electrode reaction, but it can dramatically improve the reversible capacity and cyclic performance. The recharge capacity retention after 30 cycles remained at 523 mAh/g, which is significantly higher than that of SnS2 without modification by PPy. The better cycling performance compared to SnS2 nanoparticles should be due to the 3D nano‐flower‐like SnS2 particles and the modification of SnS2 by PPy.  相似文献

SnS2–graphene nanocomposites are synthesized by a hydrothermal method, and their application as anodes of lithium-ion batteries has been investigated. SnS2 nanosheets are uniformly coating on the surface of graphene. SnS2–graphene nanocomposites exhibit high cyclability and capacity. The reversible capacity is 766 mAh/g at 0.2C rate and maintains at 570 mAh/g after 30 cycles. Such a high performance can be attributed to high electron and Li-ion conductivity, large surface area, good mechanical flexibility of graphene nanosheets and the synergetic effect between graphene and SnS2 nanostructures. The present results indicate that SnS2–graphene nanocomposites have potential applications in lithium-ion battery anodes.  相似文献

An in situ chemical synthesis approach has been developed to prepare SnO2–graphene nanocomposite. Field emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy observation revealed the homogeneous distribution of SnO2 nanoparticles (4–6 nm in size) on graphene matrix. The electrochemical reactivities of the SnO2–graphene nanocomposite as anode material were measured by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge/discharge cycling. The as-synthesized SnO2–graphene nanocomposite exhibited a reversible lithium storage capacity of 765 mAh/g in the first cycle and an enhanced cyclability, which can be ascribed to 3D architecture of the SnO2–graphene nanocomposite.  相似文献

Single-phase LiCoPO4 nanoparticles were synthesized by solid-state reaction method and subsequent high-energy ball milling. The electrochemical properties of LiCoPO4/Li batteries were analyzed by ac impedance experiments, cyclic voltammetry (CV), and charge/discharge tests. The structural and morphological performance of LiCoPO4 nanoparticles was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The XRD result demonstrated that LiCoPO4 nanoparticles had an orthorhombic olivine-type structure with a space group of Pmnb. Different conductive additives including acetylene black and carbon black (SP270) were used to fabricate electrodes. The morphologies of the electrodes and different conductive additives were observed by field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). LiCoPO4/Li battery with acetylene black showed the best electrochemical properties, and exhibited a discharge plateau at around 4.7 V with an initial discharge capacity of 110 mAh g−1 at a discharge current density of 0.05 mA cm−2 at 25 °C.  相似文献

A Co(OH)2?graphene nanosheets (Co(OH)2?GNS) composite as a high performance anode material was firstly prepared through a simultaneous hydrothermal method. The structure, morphology and electrochemical performance of the obtained samples were systematically investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and electrochemical measurements. According to the TEM analysis, the surface of the Co(OH)2 is surrounded with GNS in the Co(OH)2?GNS composite. The specific discharge (lithiation) and charge (delithiation) capacities of Co(OH)2?GNS attain to 1599 and 1120 mAh/g at a current density of 200 mA/g in the first cycle, respectively. After 30 cycles, the reversible capacity of Co(OH)2?GNS is still 910 mAh/g with the retention of 82%. The particular structure of Co(OH)2 particles surrounded by the GNS could limit the volume change during cycling and provide an excellent electronic conduction pathway, which could be the main reason for the remarkable improvement of electrochemical performance.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline tin (Sn) compounds such as SnO2, SnS2, SnS, and graphene nanocomposites were prepared using hydrothermal method. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of the prepared nanocomposite reveals the presence of tetragonal SnO2, hexagonal SnS2, and orthorhombic SnS crystalline structure in the SnO2/graphene nanosheets (GNS), SnS2/GNS, and SnS/GNS nanocomposites, respectively. Raman spectroscopic studies of the nanocomposites confirm the existence of graphene in the nanocomposites. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images of the nanocomposites revealed the formation of homogeneous nanocrystalline SnO2, SnS2, and SnS particle. The weight ratio of graphene and Sn compound in the nanocomposite was estimated using thermogravimetric (TG) analysis. The cyclic voltammetry experiment shows the irreversible formation of Li2O and Li2S, and reversible lithium-ion (Li-ion) storage in Sn and GNS. The charge–discharge profile of the nanocomposite electrodes indicates the high capacity for the Li-ion storage, and the cycling study indicates the fast capacity fading due to the poor electrical conductivity of the nanocomposite electrodes. Hence, the ratio of Sn compounds (SnO2) and GNS have been altered. Among the examined SnO2:GNS nanocomposites ratios (35:65, 50:50, and 80:20), the nanocomposite 50:50wt% shows high Li-ion storage capacity (400 mAh/g after 25 cycles) and good cyclability. Thus, it is necessary to modify GNS and Sn compound composition in the nanocomposite to achieve good cyclability.  相似文献

Olivine-type LiFePO4 composite materials for cathode material of the lithium-ion batteries were synthesized by using a sol-gel method and were coated by a chemical deposition of silver particles. As-obtained LiFePO4/C-Ag (2.1 wt.%) composites were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), conductivity measurements, cyclic voltammetry, as well as galvanostatic measurements. The results revealed that the discharge capacity of the LiFePO4/C-Ag electrode is 136.6 mAh/g, which is 7.6% higher than that of uncoated LiFePO4/C electrode (126.9 mAh/g). The LiFePO4/C coated by silver nanoparticles enhances the electrode conductivity and specific capacity at high discharge rates. The improved capacity at high discharge rates may be attributed to increased electrode conductivity and the synergistic effect on electron and Li+ transport after silver incorporation.  相似文献

Heterostructured ZnFe2O4–graphene nanocomposites are synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method. The as-prepared ZnFe2O4–graphene nanocomposites are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) analysis and galvanostatic charge and discharge measurements. Compared with the pure ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles, the ZnFe2O4–graphene nanocomposites exhibit much larger reversible capacity up to 980 mAh g−1, greatly improved cycling stability, and excellent rate capability. The superior electrochemical performance of the ZnFe2O4–graphene nanocomposites could be attributed to the synergetic effect between the conducting graphene nanosheets and the ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles.  相似文献

Nanoparticles of lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2) and nanosheets of lithium vanadium oxide (LiV3O8) were synthesized by a citrate sol–gel combustion route. The physical characterizations of the electrodic materials were carried out by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and also X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements. Near spherical nanoparticles of ≈100 nm and compact nanosheets with a few nanometers thick were observed by SEM and TEM for LiCoO2 and LiV3O8, respectively. XRD data indicated that the as-prepared active materials presented pure phase of rhombohedral LiCoO2 with R-3m symmetry and monoclinic LiV3O8 with p21/m symmetry. The kinetics of electrochemical intercalation of lithium ion into the nanoparticles of LiCoO2 and nanosheets of LiV3O8 from 1.0 mol l−1 LiNO3 aqueous solution were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. An aqueous rechargeable lithium-ion battery consisting of LiCoO2 nanoparticles as positive and LiV3O8 nanosheets as negative electrode was assembled. This battery represented a discharge voltage of about 1 V with good cycling performance.  相似文献

We report a simple and inexpensive synthesis route of TiO2 nanoparticles using electrical arc discharge between titanium electrodes in oxygen bubbled deionized (DI) water followed by heat treatment. The resulting nanoparticles were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), dynamic light scattering (DLS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). XRD patterns demonstrate formation of TiO2 phase in oxygen bubbled water after heat treatment and dominance of rutile to anatase phase. The size and morphology of TiO2 nanoparticles were studied using different arc currents as a crucial parameter in properties of final product. Microscopic studies reveal nanosize spherical particles. DLS results indicate that at 20 A arc current, the size of the particles is about 37 nm and increases to 59 nm by increasing the arc current up to 40 A. Photodegradation of Rhodamine B (Rh. B) as a standard pollution shows that heat treated samples in oxygen bubbled water for 2 h at 500 °C, have more photocatalytic activity due to enhancement in crystallinity.  相似文献

Layered LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 nanoparticles were prepared by modified Pechini method and used as cathode materials for Li-ion batteries. The pyrolytic behaviors of the foamed precursors were analyzed by use of simultaneous thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA). Structure, morphology and electrochemical performance characterization of the samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron macroscopy(SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area and charge–discharge tests. The results showed that the samples prepared by modified Pechini method caclined at 900 °C for 10 h were indexed to pure LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 with well hexagonal structure. The particle size was in a range of 100–300 nm. The specific surface area was larger than that of the as-obtained sample by Pechini method. Initial discharge capacity of 163.8 mAh/g in the range 2.8–4.4 V (vs. Li/Li+) and at 0.1C for LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 prepared by modified Pechini method was obtained, higher than that of the sample prepared by Pechini method (143.5 mAh/g). Moreover, the comparison of electrochemical results at different current rates indicated that the sample prepared by modified Pechini method exhibited improved rate capability.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline cadmium doped tin oxide (SnO2) powders of about 2.5–4.5 nm in size have been synthesized by using different solvents via sol–gel method. The obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), Transmission electron spectroscopy (TEM), UV-Vis absorption and Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. The PL emission spectra revealed that the band centered at 452 nm might be related with oxygen vacancies. A spherical, small rod and slice like morphologies of the prepared Cd-SnO2 nanoparticles were observed in the SEM and TEM studies. The presence of Cd modifies the structural, morphological and optical properties of the tin oxide nanoparticles.  相似文献

The detection of acute myocardial infarction directly depends on the concentration of the cardiac troponin I (CTnI) in human blood plasma. In this study, the sensitive, selective, and fast sandwich-type electrochemical CTnI immunosensor was developed by using nitrogen and boron-dopped graphene quantum dots -as electrode platform and two-dimensional Ce-dopped SnO2/SnS2 (Ce–SnO2/SnS2) as signal amplification. In preparation of electrochemical CTnI immunosensor, the coordinated covalent bond between capture antibody (anti-CTnI-Ab1) and nitrogen and boron-dopped graphene quantum dots as electrode platform led to immobilization of anti-CTnI-Ab1, and the strong esterification between the secondary antibody (anti-CTnI-Ab2) and thioglycolic acid-modified Ce–SnO2/SnS2 resulted in anti-CTnI-Ab2 conjugation. Finally, the resultant electrochemical CTnI immunosensor was formed via antigen-antibody interaction. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, UV–Vis spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy, as well as some electrochemical characterization techniques, including cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used to characterize the prepared immunosensor. The detection limit of CTnI in plasma samples was calculated as 2.00 fg mL?1, making it an effective tool for acute myocardial infarction testing.  相似文献

LiFePO4/graphene (LiFePO4/G) cathode with exciting electrochemical performance was successfully synthesized by liquid phase method. LiFePO4 nanoparticles wrapped with multi-layered grapheme can be fabricated in a short time. This method did not need external heating source. Heat generated by chemical reaction conduct the process and removed the solvent simultaneously. The LiFePO4/G were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), magnetic properties analysis and electrochemical performance tests. The LiFePO4/G delivered a capacity of 160 mAh g−1 at 0.1C and could tolerate various dis-charge currents with a capacity retention rate of 99.8%, 99.2%, 99.0%, 98.6%, 97.3% and 95.0% after stepwise under 5C, 10C, 15C, 20C, 25C and 30C, respectively.  相似文献

Pristine- and chromium-substituted LiNiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by sol-gel method using nitrate precursor at 800?°C for 12?h. Physical properties of the synthesized product were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and energy dispersive analysis X-ray. XRD studies revealed a well-defined layer structure and a linear variation of lattice parameters with the addition of chromium and no impurities. Surface morphology and particle size of synthesized materials were changed with chromium addition using SEM and TEM analyses. Assembled lithium-ion cells were evaluated for charge/discharge studies at different rates, cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectra. The initial discharge capacity of LiNiO2 cathode material was found to be 168?mA hg?1; however, discharge capacity increased in chromium substitution. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy revealed that LiCr0.10Ni0.90O2 could enhance charge transfer resistance upon cycling. The substitution of Ni with chromium, LiCr0.10Ni0.90O2, had better cycle life, low irreversible capacity, and excellent electrochemical performance.  相似文献

A novel and quick method has been developed for the preparation of tin sulfide (SnS and SnS2) nanoflakes in high yield (≈93%) by a microwave irradiation technique for 10–40 min. The sulfides were synthesized in a simple domestic microwave oven (DMO) using stannic chloride and stanous chloride as the precursors of tin and thiourea as the precursor of sulfur in ethylene glycol under argon atmosphere. Elemental sulfur and sodium thiosulfate were also tried as precursors of sulfur. The structures, morphologies, compositions, and physical properties of the products were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry, energy dispersive X-ray analysis, transmission electron microscopy, selected area electron diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and standard electrochemical techniques. The XRD patterns indicate that the as-synthesized product, obtained after microwave irradiation, is crystalline orthorhombic in the case of the SnS phase and amorphous in the case of SnS2. Heat treatment of this SnS2 produced a crystalline hexagonal phase. A possible mechanism for the formation of the tin sulfide nanoflakes is proposed herein. The electrochemical performance of these materials as Li-insertion materials was investigated in a number of electrolyte solutions and was found to be highly sensitive to the solution composition. A stable reversible capacity higher than 600 mAh/g could be obtained with SnS electrodes.  相似文献

A simple low temperature hydrothermal method was found to yield Na0.28V2O5 nanobelts after two days at 130 °C in acidic medium (H2SO4) without using any surfactant. The obtained products were characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), and Raman spectroscopy. Their morphology was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Additionally, their electrochemical behavior in a lithium battery was investigated. The XRD pattern shows that the product is composed of monoclinic Na0.28V2O5 nanobelts. From the FTIR spectrum, the band centered at 961 cm–1 is assigned to V=O stretching vibration, which is sensitive to intercalation and suggests that Na+ ions are inserted between the vanadium oxide layers. SEM/TEM analyses reveal that the products consist of a large quantity of nanobelts which have a thickness of 60–150 nm and a length of several tens of micrometers. The electrochemical results show that the nanobelts exhibit an initial discharge specific capacity of 390 mAh · g–1, and its stabilized capacity still remained around 200 mAh · g–1 after the 18th cycle.  相似文献
