We consider the relationship between Gabor-Daubechies windowed Fourier localization operators and Berezin-Toeplitz operators T φ, using the Bargmann isometry β. For “window” w a finite linear combination of Hermite functions, and a very general class of functions φ, we prove an equivalence of the form by obtaining the exact formulas for the operator C and the linear differential operator D.  相似文献

We show that, given a countably incomplete ultrafilter in , the ultraproduct of interpolation spaces defined by the real method is isomorphic to the direct sum of an interpolation space of type , an intermediate K?the space between and being a purely atomic measure space, and a K?the function space K3) defined on some purely non atomic measure space (Ω3, ν3) in such a way that Ω2 ∪ Ω3 ≠∅. The asymptotic expansion of the heat kernel Θ(t)=sum from ∞to j=1 exp(-tλ_j) where {λ_j}_(j=1)~∞are the eigen-values of the negative Laplacian -Δ_n=-sum from n to k=1((?))~2 in R~n(n=2 or 3) is studied for short-time t for a generalbounded domain Ωwith a smooth boundary (?)Ω.In this paper,we consider the case of a finite number of theDirichlet conditions φ=0 on Γ_i (i=1,...,J) and the Neumann conditions (?)=0 on Γ_i (i=J 1,...,k) andthe Robin conditions ((?) γ_i)φ=0 on Γ_i (i=k 1,...,m) where γ_i are piecewise smooth positive impedancefunctions,such that (?)Ωconsists of a finite number of piecewise smooth components Γ_i(i=1,...,m) where(?)Ω=(?)Γ_i.We construct the required asymptotics in the form of a power series over t.The senior coefficients inthis series are specified as functionals of the geometric shape of the domain Ω.This result is applied to calculatethe one-particle partition function of a“special ideal gas”,i.e.,the set of non-interacting particles set up in abox with Dirichlet,Neumann and Robin boundary conditions for the appropriate wave function.Calculationof the thermodynamic quantities for the ideal gas such as the internal energy,pressure and specific heat revealsthat these quantities alone are incapable of distinguishing between two different shapes of the domain.Thisconclusion seems to be intuitively clear because it is based on a limited information given by a one-particlepartition function;nevertheless,its formal theoretical motivation is of some interest.  相似文献

We study localization operators within the framework of ultradistributions. More precisely, given a symbol a and two windows φ1, φ2, we investigate the multilinear mapping from to the localization operator Results are formulated in terms of modulation spaces with weights which may have exponential growth. We give sufficient and necessary conditions for a to be bounded or to belong to a Schatten class. As an application, we study symbols defined by ultra-distributions with compact support, that give trace class localization operators.  相似文献

Let (T2, g) be a smooth Riemannian structure in the torus T2. We show that given ε > 0 and any C function U : T2 → ℝ there exists a C1 function Uε with Lipschitz derivatives that is ε-C0 close to U for which there are no continuous invariant graphs in any supercritical energy level of the mechanical Lagrangian Lε : TT2 → ℝ given by . We also show that given n ∈ ℕ, the set of C potentials U : T2 → ℝ for which there are no continuous invariant graphs in any supercritical energy level En of is C0 dense in the set of C functions. In this paper we study the problem of the membership of H ϕ in the Hilbert-Schmidt class, when and Ω is a planar domain. We find a necessary and sufficient condition.We apply this result to the problem of joint membership of H φ and in the Hilbert-Schmidt class. Using the notion of Berezin Transform and a result of K. Zhu we are able to give a necessary and sufficient condition. Finally, we recover a result of Arazy, Fisher and Peetre on the case with φ holomorphic.  相似文献

Let G be a connected simply connected almost -simple algebraic group with non-compact and a cocompact congruence subgroup. For any homogeneous manifold of finite volume, and a , we show that the Hecke orbit T a (x 0 H) is equidistributed on as , provided H is a non-compact commutative reductive subgroup of G. As a corollary, we generalize the equidistribution result of Hecke points ([COU], [EO1]) to homogeneous spaces G/H. We show that the crossed product C*-algebra is a simple A -algebra provided that the associated cocycle takes its values in rotations on . We consider a multiply connected domain where denotes the unit disk and denotes the closed disk centered at with radius r j for j = 1, . . . , n. We define a group G to be of type Φ if it has the property that for every -module G, proj. G < ∞ iff proj. H G < ∞ for every finite subgroup H of G. We conjecture that the type Φ is an algebraic characterization of those groups G which admit a finite dimensional model for , the classifying space for the family of the finite subgroups of G. We also conjecture that the type Φ is equivalent to spli being finite, where spli is the supremum of the projective lengths of the injective -modules. The asymptotic expansion for small |t| of the trace of the wave kernel ∧↑μ(t) =∑v=1^∞exp(-it μv^1/2), where i= √-1 and {μv}v=1^∞ are the eigenvalues of the negative Laplacian -△=-∑β=1^2(δ/δx^β)^2 in the (x^1, x^2)-plane, is studied for a multi-connected vibrating membrane Ω in R^2 surrounded by simply connected bounded domains Ωj with smooth boundaries δΩj(j=1,...,n), where a finite number of piecewise smooth Robin boundary conditions on the piecewise smooth components Гi(i=1 κj-1,...,κj) of the boundaries δΩj are considered, such that δΩj=∪i=1 κj-1^κj Гi and κ0=0. The basic problem is to extract information on the geometry of Ω using the wave equation approach. Some geometric quantities of Ω (e.g. the area of Ω, the total lengths of its boundary, the curvature of its boundary, the number of the holes of Ω, etc.) are determined from the asymptotic expansion of the trace of the wave kernel ∧↑μ(t) for small |t|.  相似文献

Let T be a positive operator on a Banach lattice E. Some properties of Weyl essential spectrum σew(T), in particular, the equality , where is the set of all compact operators on E, are established. If r(T) does not belong to Fredholm essential spectrum σef(T), then for every a ≠ 0, where T−1 is a residue of the resolvent R(., T) at r(T). The new conditions for which implies , are derived. The question when the relation holds, where is Lozanovsky’s essential spectrum, will be considered. Lozanovsky’s order essential spectrum is introduced. A number of auxiliary results are proved. Among them the following generalization of Nikol’sky’s theorem: if T is an operator of index zero, then T = R + K, where R is invertible, K ≥ 0 is of finite rank. Under the natural assumptions (one of them is ) a theorem about the Frobenius normal form is proved: there exist T-invariant bands such that if , where , then an operator on Di is band irreducible.   相似文献
