We examined responses of cultivated bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L. cv. IDIAP R-3) and maize (Zea mays L. cv. Guarare 8128) plants exposed to ozone (O(3)) using a leaf injury assessment and proteomics approach. Plants grown for 16 days in greenhouse were transferred to an O(3) chamber and exposed continuously to 0.2 ppm O(3) or filtered pollutant-free air for up to 72 h. CBB-stained gels revealed changes in ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (RuBisCO) protein. By Western analysis changes in marker proteins for O(3) damage in leaves by 1-DE were checked. In bean leaves, two superoxide dismutase (SOD) protein (19 and 20 kDa) were dramatically decreased, while ascorbate peroxidase (APX, 25 kDa), small heat shock protein (HSP, 33 kDa), and a naringenin-7-O-methyltransferase (NOMT, 42 kDa) were increased by O(3). In maize leaves, expression levels of catalase (increased), SOD (decreased), and APX (increased) were drastically changed by O(3) depending on the leaf stage, whereas crossreacting HSPs (24 and 30 kDa) and NOMT (41 kDa) proteins were strongly increased in O(3)-stressed younger leaves. These results indicated a clear modulation of oxidative stress-, heat shock-, and secondary metabolism-related proteins by O(3). Finally, 2-DE at 72 h after O(3) exposure revealed changes (induction/suppression) in expression levels of 25 and 12 protein spots in bean and maize leaves, respectively. Out of these, ten and nine nonredundant proteins in bean and maize, respectively, were identified by MS. A novel pathogenesis-related protein 2 may serve as a potential marker for O(3) stress in bean.  相似文献

Total phosphorus in five soils with different compositions which were obtained from different places were extracted by using Na(2)CO(3) fusion, HClO(4) digestion, HClO(4) + HNO(3) digestion, HF + HClO(4) digestion or NaOBr oxidation methods. In order to test the suitability of the HF + HClO(4) digestion the results obtained by this method were compared with the others above, especially the Na(2)CO(3) fusion which is accepted as a standard method. The phosphorus amount found with the HF + HClO(4) digestion method were almost the same as the phosphorus amount by the Na(2)CO(3) fusion method, while the superiority in extracting phosphorus when compared to other methods were obvious. The methods used in the study were evaluated according to the recovery of total phosphorus, ease of application and rapidity with which they were performed. Orthophosphate in the soil extracts was determined by the molybdenum blue colour method. The relationships between methods are examined statistically.  相似文献

Uranyl (M)-selenate (L) complex equilibria in solution were investigated by spectrophotometry in visible range and potentiometry by means of uranyl ion selective electrode. The formation ML and ML(2) species was proved and the corresponding stability constants calculated were: log beta(1) = 1.57(6) +/- 0.01(6), log beta(2) = 2.42(3) +/- 0.01(3) (I = 3.0 mol 1(-1) Na(ClO(4), SeO(4)) (spectrophotometry) at 298.2 K. Using potentiometry the values for infinite dilution (I --> 0 mol 1(-1)) were: log beta(1) = 2.64 +/- 0.01, log beta(2) 3.4 at 298.2 K. Absorption spectra of the complexes were calculated and analysed by deconvolution technique. Derivative spectrophotometry for the chemical model determination has also been successfully applied.  相似文献

Major antioxidants of aqueous ethanol extract from Lady's Finger (Hibiscus esculentus Linn) were systematically investigated in this study. Firstly, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was applied to identify antioxidant peaks in a sample by spiking the sample extract with 2,2'-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) free radical, which was prepared from manganese dioxide and ABTS. Secondly, in order to identify the elution period of major antioxidant peaks, the antioxidant capacities of different fractions from solid-phase extraction (SPE) were measured, and the chromatograms of fractions were also recorded. Lastly, multiple mass spectrometry (MS(n)) was used to elucidate the possible chemical structures of antioxidants, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) was further applied for structure confirmation. The major antioxidant compounds in lady's finger were identified to be quercetin derivatives and (-)-epigallocatechin using HPLC-MS and HPLC-MS(n) (n = 2-4) techniques. It was found that about 70% of total antioxidant activity was contributed by four quercetin derivatives. The structures of major antioxidants, which were isolated by semi-preparative RP-HPLC with two tandem C18 columns, were further confirmed using UV-vis absorption spectroscopy and 13C NMR spectra. Quercetin 3-O-xylosyl (1' --> 2') glucoside, quercetin 3-O-glucosyl (1' --> 6') glucoside, quercetin 3-O-glucoside and quercetin 3-O-(6'-O-malonyl)-glucoside were first identified and characterized as major antioxidants in lady's finger.  相似文献

Several Ge(II) and Ge(IV) compounds were investigated as possible reagents for the electrodeposition of Ge from liquid CH(3)CN and CH(2)F(2) and supercritical CO(2) containing as a co-solvent CH(3)CN (scCO(2)) and supercritical CH(2)F(2) (scCH(2)F(2)). For Ge(II) reagents the most promising results were obtained using [NBu(n)(4)][GeCl(3)]. However the reproducibility was poor and the reduction currents were significantly less than the estimated mass transport limited values. Deposition of Ge containing films was possible at high cathodic potential from [NBu(n)(4)][GeCl(3)] in liquid CH(3)CN and supercritical CO(2) containing CH(3)CN but in all cases they were heavily contaminated by C, O, F and Cl. Much more promising results were obtained using GeCl(4) in liquid CH(2)F(2) and supercritical CH(2)F(2). In this case the reduction currents were consistent with mass transport limited reduction and bulk electrodeposition produced amorphous films of Ge. Characterisation by XPS showed the presence of low levels of O, F and C, XPS confirmed the presence of Ge together with germanium oxides, and Raman spectroscopy showed that the as deposited amorphous Ge could be crystallised by the laser used in obtaining the Raman measurements.  相似文献

Gadolinium (Gd) complexes of benzene (C(6)H(6)) and (1,3,5,7-cyclooctatetraene) (C(8)H(8)) were produced in a laser-vaporization supersonic molecular beam source and studied by single-photon pulsed-field ionization zero electron kinetic energy (ZEKE) spectroscopy. Adiabatic ionization energies and metal-ligand stretching frequencies were measured for the first time from the ZEKE spectra. Metal-ligand bonding and electronic states of the neutral and cationic complexes were analyzed by combining the spectroscopic measurements with ab initio calculations. The ground states of Gd(C(6)H(6)) and [Gd(C(6)H(6))](+) were determined as (11)A(2) and (10)A(2), respectively, with C(6v) molecular symmetry. The ground states of Gd(C(8)H(8)) and [Gd(C(8)H(8))](+) were identified as (9)A(2) and (8)A(2), respectively, with C(8v) molecular symmetry. Although the metal-ligand bonding in Gd(C(6)H(6)) is dominated by the covalent interaction, the bonding in Gd(C(8)H(8)) is largely electrostatic. The bonding in the benzene complex is much weaker than that in the cyclooctatetraene species. The strong bonding in Gd(C(8)H(8)) arises from two-electron transfer from Gd to C(8)H(8), which creates a strong charge-charge interaction and converts the tub-shaped ligand into a planar form. In both systems, Gd 4f orbitals are localized and play little role in the bonding, but they contribute to the high electron spin multiplicities.  相似文献

The chemical composition of the essential oils obtained from the leaves and roots of Cochlospermum angolense (Welw) growing wild in Angola was analyzed for the first time by capillary gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The investigation led to the identification of 67 and 130 compounds from the leaves and roots, respectively. Both oils were strongly characterized by the presence of sesquiterpenoids (68.8% in the leaves and 53.2% in the roots), while monoterpenoids were present in minor percentages (9.8% in the leaves and 26.2% in the root). The main constituents of the leaves were germacrene D (9.4%), alpha-cadinol (7.4%) and 10-epi-cubenol (6.2%), while the most abundant compounds in the root essential oil were the sesquiterpenes beta-caryophyllene (19.7%) and isoborneol (6.6%). The analysis by HS-SPME of the roots, leaves, fruits and seeds were also reported for the first time. Different volatile profiles were detected.  相似文献

The essential oils of the fruits and the leaves of pistachio (Pistacia vera L.) were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fresh unripe pistachio fruits were richer in essential oil (0.5%, w/w) than the leaves (0.1%, w/w). Twenty one compounds were identified in the essential oil of the fruits and the major components were (+)-alpha-pinene (54.6%) and terpinolene (31.2%). The enantiomeric ratio of the major constituents of the essential oil of the fruits was determined using chiral GC/MS and it was found that the (+)/(-)-alpha-pinene ratio was 99.5:0.5, (+)/(-)-limonene 80:20, (+)/(-)-beta-pinene 96:4, and (+)/(-)-alpha-terpineol 0:100. Thirty three compounds were identified in the essential oil of the leaves and the major components were found to be alpha-pinene (30.0%), terpinolene (17.6%) and bornyl acetate (11.3%).  相似文献

The relationships of iron(II) oxidation in water using a new type of aerator based on a disk disperser were studied. The oxidation rate constants and the iron(II) to iron(III) half-conversion time were determined. The iron(II) oxidation in water follows a first-order rate equation. Changes in the water quality parameters depending on the conditions of the iron(II) oxidation were analyzed.  相似文献

We investigated the dynamics of isomerization and multi-channel dissociation of propenal (CH(2)CHCHO), methyl ketene (CH(3)CHCO), hydroxyl propadiene (CH(2)CH(2)CHOH), and hydroxyl cyclopropene (cyclic-C(3)H(3)-OH) in the ground potential-energy surface using quantum-chemical calculations. Optimized structures and vibrational frequencies of molecular species were computed with method B3LYP∕6-311G(d,p). Total energies of molecules at optimized structures were computed at the CCSD(T)∕6-311+G(3df,2p) level of theory. We established the potential-energy surface for decomposition to CH(2)CHCO + H, CH(2)CH + HCO, CH(2)CH(2)∕CH(3)CH + CO, CHCH∕CH(2)C + H(2)CO, CHCCHO∕CH(2)CCO + H(2), CHCH + CO + H(2), CH(3) + HCCO, CH(2)CCH + OH, and CH(2)CC∕cyclic-C(3)H(2) + H(2)O. Microcanonical rate coefficients of various reactions of trans-propenal with internal energies 148 and 182 kcal mol(-1) were calculated using Rice-Ramsperger-Kassel-Marcus and Variational transition state theories. Product branching ratios were derivable using numerical integration of kinetic master equations and the steady-state approximation. The concerted three-body dissociation of trans-propenal to fragments C(2)H(2) + CO + H(2) is the prevailing channel in present calculations. In contrast, C(3)H(3)O + H, C(2)H(3) + HCO and C(2)H(4) + CO were identified as major channels in the photolysis of trans-propenal. The discrepancy between calculations and experiments in product branching ratios indicates that the three major photodissociation channels occur mainly on an excited potential-energy surface whereas the other channels occur mainly on the ground potential-energy surface. This work provides profound insight in the mechanisms of isomerization and multichannel dissociation of the system C(3)H(4)O.  相似文献

Macroporous solids with crystalline layered walls were fabricated from colloidal mixtures of size-controlled niobate nanosheets and polystyrene spheres. The macroporous solids, obtained after burning off the spheres, were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The obtained structures strongly depended on the lateral dimension L of the nanosheets used. When small nanosheets (L=100 nm) were used, partly ordered macroporous solids with interconnected pores were obtained, whereas sponge-like random macroporous structures were obtained with larger nanosheets (L=190 and 270 nm). Peapod-like hollow structures were obtained when we used small (L=190 nm) and very large (L=3 microm) nanosheets at the same time. The microstructure of the pore walls was controllable by changing the calcination conditions. The walls were composed of propylammonium/K(4)Nb(6)O(17) intercalation compound which has a layered structure with exchangeable cations in the interlayer space, stable up to 350 degrees C for 6 h on calcination. The walls were converted to crystalline K(8)Nb(18)O(49) after calcination at 500 degrees C for 6 h.  相似文献

Computational studies were performed to explain the highly varied stereoselectivities obtained in the reductions of acyclic phosphine oxides and sulfides by different chlorosilanes. The reductions of phosphine oxides by HSiCl(3), HSiCl(3)/Et(3)N, and Si(2)Cl(6) and the reductions of phosphine sulfides by Si(2)Cl(6) (all in benzene) were explored by means of B3LYP, B3LYP-D, and SCS-MP2 calculations. For the reductions of phosphine oxides by HSiCl(3), the calculations support the mechanism proposed by Horner in which a hydride is transferred from silicon to phosphorus through a four-centered, frontside transition state. This mechanism leads to retention of stereochemistry at phosphorus. For the other three reductions, two classes of mechanisms were explored. Phosphorane-based mechanisms that were previously proposed by Mislow and involve SiCl(3)(-) were compared with novel alternative mechanisms that involve nonionic rearrangement processes. In one of these, donor-stabilized SiCl(2) is formed as an intermediate. The calculations support a phosphorane-based mechanism for the reductions of phosphine oxides by HSiCl(3)/Et(3)N and Si(2)Cl(6) (which proceed with inversion) but favor the rearrangement pathways for the reductions of phosphine sulfides by Si(2)Cl(6) (which proceed with retention).  相似文献

The ability of cysteine to form complexes with cadmium(II) in aqueous solutions has been investigated at 25 degrees C and in constant ionic medium NaCl at two different concentrations, 1.00 and 3.00 mol l(-1). The presence of chloride ions was necessary to avoid the precipitation of cadmium(II). Two kinds of measurements were carried out. The electromotive force of galvanic cells containing glass and cadmium amalgam electrodes was measured as a function of cadmium and hydrogen ion concentrations in acid or moderately alkaline solutions in order to obtain the free concentration of cadmium(II) and hydrogen ions. The experimental data obtained in 1.00 mol l(-1) NaCl were explained by assuming the presence of CdHL and CdH(2)L(2), while those obtained in 3.00 mol l(-1) NaCl were accounted for with the formation of CdHL, CdH(2)L(2), CdH(3)L(3) and CdH(2)L(3). Moreover, polarographic measurements were carried out under the same experimental conditions but in alkaline solutions, and the formation of CdL(2) and CdL(3) was assumed from the shift of E(1/2) of cadmium(II) with an excess of cysteine. The stability constants of the assumed species were determined. Protonation constants of cysteine in 1.00 and 3.00 mol l(-1) NaCl have been also determined. A comparison with the behaviour of serine and alpha-aminopropanoate towards cadmium(II) is proposed.  相似文献

Topological indices were used in the prediction of the acute toxicity (intraperitoneal and oral LD(50)) of organophosphorus pesticides on rats. Models with six variables for the prediction of LD(50)-i.p. (r = 0.849, Q(2) = 0.613) and eight variables for LD(50)-oral (r = 0.906, Q(2) = 0.701) were selected. External group and cross-validation by use of leave-n-out tests were also performed in order to assess the stability and the prediction performance of the selected topological models.  相似文献

Four stereoisomers of 1,3-dimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline, an inducer of Parkinson-like syndrome, were synthesized by applying a new method of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline (TIQ) synthesis utilizing the Pummerer reaction as a key step. The chiral centers at C-1 and C-3 were constructed by two routes starting from alaninol (3) and 1-phenylethylamine (4) as a chiral source. Enantiomerically pure 1,3-dimethyl-TIQs (1R,3S)-(2) [corrected], (1S,3R)-(ent-2) [corrected], (1S,3S)-(1) [corrected], and (1R,3R)-(ent-1) [corrected] were prepared in a stereochemically unambiguous manner from 3 in 11 steps (route I) and from 4 in 6 steps (route II). The conformations of tetrahydroisoquinoline ring in 1-methyl, 3-methyl, and 1,3-dimethyl-TIQs were discussed on the basis of their CD, 1H-NMR spectra, and steric energies.  相似文献

采用分子动力学方法,在正侧(NVT)系综下研究了N-脒基脲二硝酰胺盐(FOX-12)在溶剂中的晶体形貌.通过构建溶剂分子层-晶面的界面吸附模型模拟其动力学平衡构型,计算溶剂与晶体表面间的结合能,进而对真空附着能进行修正并获得溶剂条件下的晶貌.使用自然冷却法在水和水/甲醇中培养FOX-12晶体并利用扫描电子显微镜进行了表征.结果表明,在真空条件下决定FOX-12晶貌的6个重要晶面为(110),(200),(201),(011),(002)和(111);FOX-12在水溶液条件下的主要晶面为(110)和(011),在水/甲醇溶液条件下的主要晶面为(200)和(011),预测的晶体形貌与实验结果相吻合.对水分子和FOX-12的(110)面间的径向分布函数进行了计算,分析了水分子和晶面间的分子间作用力.  相似文献

The photophysical properties of the Zn salt of octaethylcorrphycene (compound 1) and the doubly protonated octaethylcorrphycene (compound 2) were determined in benzene solutions. Fluorescence spectra and fluorescence quantum yields of phiF (1) = 0.03+/-0.02 and PF (2) = 0.06+/-0.02 were measured. The triplet-triplet absorption spectra were obtained by means of flash-photolysis experiments. The triplet quantum yield values phiT (1) = 0.79+/-0.08 and phiT (2) = 0.82+/-0.08 were obtained by using laser-induced optoacoustic spectroscopy. The quantum yield of singlet molecular oxygen generation in air-saturated solutions, phidelta (1) = 0.55+/-0.07 and phidelta (2) = 0.38+/-0.05, were also measured using time resolved NIR luminescence.  相似文献

A first-derivative spectrophotometric (1D) method and a derivative-ratio zero-crossing spectrophotometric (1DD) method were used to determine pyritinol dihydrochloride (I) in the presence of its precursor (II) and its degradation product (III) with 0.1N hydrochloric acid as a solvent. Linear relationships were obtained in the ranges of 6-22 microg/mL for the (1D) method and 6-20 microg/mL for the (1DD) method. By applying the proposed methods, it was possible to determine pyritinol dihydrochloride in its pure powdered form with an accuracy of 100.36 +/- 1.497% (n = 9) for the (1D) method and an accuracy of 99.92 +/- 1.172% (n = 8) for the (1DD) method. Laboratory-prepared mixtures containing different ratios of (I), (II), and (III) were analyzed, and the proposed methods were valid for concentrations of < or = 10% (II) and < or = 50% (III). The proposed methods were validated and found to be suitable as stability-indicating assay methods for pyritinol in pharmaceutical formulations.  相似文献
