使用量子场论中准势途径的相对论夸克模型,计算了重夸克偶素的质量谱.所采用的同味正反夸克间的有效相互作用包括通常的直接单胶子交换、单胶子湮没及具有相对论修正的标量和矢量线性禁闭的混合.得到了与实验上肯定的数据符合较好的拟合计算结果,并讨论了湮没项和相对论修正各项对能谱超精细分裂的作用. 关键词: 重夸克偶素 质量谱 相对论修正 湮没势  相似文献

The top quark mass and the flavour mixing are studied in the context of a seesaw model of quark masses based on the gauge group SU(2)L × SU(2)R × U(1). Six isosinglet quarks are introduced to give rise to the mass hierarchy of ordinary quarks. In this scheme, we reexamine a mechanism for the generation of the top quark mass. It is shown that, in order to prevent the seesaw mechanism to act for the top quark, the mass parameter of its isosinglet partner must be much smaller than the breaking scale of SU(2)R. As a result the fourth lightest up quark must have a mass of the order of the breaking scale of SU(2)R, and a large mixing between the right-handed top quark and its singlet partner occurs. We also show that this mechanism is compatible with the mass spectrum of light quarks and their flavour mixing.  相似文献

We will summarize the progress in understanding the changes in the vector meson spectral density in nuclear medium using the constraint equations obtained from the Borel transformed dispersion relation and QCD Operator Product Expansion. We will discuss the results for the scalar mass shift and dispersion effects (three momentum dependence) for the light quark system (,ω), the strange quark system (Φ) and the heavy quark system (J/ψ) in nuclear medium. For the light quark system, a nontrivvial change in the mass and width is expected, while the dispersion effects are found to be small. Existing model calculations for the dispersion effects are compared to the constraint equation in detail. Very small, but accurate mass shifts are obtained for the heavy quark system.  相似文献

In the framework combining the heavy quark expansion and chiral symmetry for light quarks, we identify a class of corrections to the dominant vector meson pole diagram for B→π/v, in the vicinity of the zero pion recoil point. We also give a qualitative estimate of these effects, using higher states exchanges with couplings constrained by current algebra and PCAC.  相似文献

We studied the leading supersymmetric contribution to top–antitop threshold production using the NRQCD framework. The one-loop matching to the potential and the Wilson coefficient of the leading 3S1 production current were considered. We point out that the leading correction to the potential is zero due to SU(3)c gauge invariance. This is true in general for any new physics that enters above the electroweak scale. The shape of the top quark pair production cross section is therefore almost unaffected near threshold, allowing a precise determination of the top quark mass based on the Standard Model calculations. The supersymmetric correction to the Wilson coefficient c1 of the production current decouples for heavy super particles. Its contribution is smaller than the Standard Model next-to-next-leading-log results.  相似文献

Chiral properties of Wilson fermions at finite temperature are investigated by numerical methods. We show that when the quark mass is properly defined, for a given β and K (hopping parameter), its value is independent of whether the system is in the high-temperature phase or in the low-temperature phase. The temperature dependence of the pion screening mass at the chiral limit where the quark mass vanishes is consistent with the physical picture that the spontaneously broken chiral symmetry is recovered at T = Tc.  相似文献

In heavy quark jets the quark mass acts as a regulator of collinear singularities, making the quark momentum an infra-red safe variable in perturbative QCD. This allows a direct comparison of measured heavy hadron momentum spectra with perturbative calculations. We exploit the factorisation of heavy quark fragmentation to derive QCD predictions for momentum correlations between heavy hadrons produced ine + e ? annihilations. We study the practical feasibility and model sensitivity of our approach using Monte Carlo simulations. Higher order perturbative corrections and contributions from non-perturbative effects are found to be at the level of 10%.  相似文献

The production of top quark pairs accompanied by a hard gluon in annihilation is studied including next-to-leading order corrections in the strong coupling. At leading order, the fraction r of events with respect to all events is computed analytically as a function of the minimal gluon energy. Next-to-leading order results for r are given for center-of-mass energies of 0.5 and 1 TeV. We further calculate the differential distribution of r with respect to several variables, including the top quark energy and the invariant mass. We then investigate how our results depend on the choice of the renormalization scheme for the top quark mass by comparing results expressed in terms of either the pole mass or the mass. Finally we estimate the sensitivity of the fraction r on the value of the running top quark mass at a scale of 1 TeV. Received: 7 April 1999 / Published online: 12 August 1999  相似文献

The heavy meson and baryon spectra are studied to the order of 1/MQ in heavy quark effective theory. A phenomenological formula for the dependence of the spectra on the isospin and strangeness of the light quark system contained in heavy hadrons is proposed and its predictions are in agreement with the present experimental data. The predictions of beauty hadron masses including the 1/MQ corrections are given. The parameters of the order of 1/MQ are estimated from phenomenological analyses.  相似文献

构造夸克间的有效的相互作用势函数是强子物理中的重要研究课题,也是学科前沿问题之一.本文对坐标空间中的Breit夸克势函数的完整形式实施消除奇异因子的替代方法,构造出一个有效的夸克势.除了第一项库仑势和第七项常数项势,对其他的项都需进行重新构造,即对第二项和第四项做δ(r)→μ~3e~(-μr)/8π替代,对第三项做1/r→(1-e-μr)/r替代,对第五项和第六项做1/r~3→1-(1+μr)e~(-μr)/r~3替代,由此重新构造出新的势函数,然后用来计算质量劈裂,检验构造势的有效性.为此计算了一组含重介子和夸克偶素的质量劈裂.计算中屏蔽质量μ不是简单的常数,而是取与夸克质量m_i,m_j有关的变量.研究计算发现,只有当屏蔽质量μ取为关于夸克平均质量μ_a=(m_i+m_j)/2的洛朗级数形式μ=c_(-3)(μ_a+0.512)-3+c_(-2)(μ_a+0.512)~(-2)+c_(-1)(μ_a+0.512)~(-1)+c_0+c_1(μ_a+0.512)时重介子η_c-J/ψ,η_b-Υ(1s),还有χ_(c0)-χ_(c1)-χ_(c2)等的夸克偶素之间质量劈裂精确达到实验值,同时其他介子尤其是6个D介子质量精度都比以往得到较大幅度的改善.因此,本文构造出一个有效的夸克势模型.  相似文献

Recent measurements from the HERMES and SMC Collaborations show a remarkably large azimuthal single-spin asymmetries AUL and AUT of the proton in semi-inclusive pion leptoproduction γ*(q)p→πX. We show that final-state interactions from gluon exchange between the outgoing quark and the target spectator system lead to single-spin asymmetries in deep inelastic lepton–proton scattering at leading twist in perturbative QCD; i.e., the rescattering corrections are not power-law suppressed at large photon virtuality Q2 at fixed xbj. The existence of such single-spin asymmetries requires a phase difference between two amplitudes coupling the proton target with Jzp=±1/2 to the same final-state, the same amplitudes which are necessary to produce a nonzero proton anomalous magnetic moment. We show that the exchange of gauge particles between the outgoing quark and the proton spectators produces a Coulomb-like complex phase which depends on the angular momentum Lz of the proton's constituents and is thus distinct for different proton spin amplitudes. The single-spin asymmetry which arises from such final-state interactions does not factorize into a product of distribution function and fragmentation function, and it is not related to the transversity distribution δq(x,Q) which correlates transversely polarized quarks with the spin of the transversely polarized target nucleon.  相似文献

In the scenario where the dark matter (DM) particles χχ pair annihilate through a resonance particle R, the constraint from DM relic density makes the corresponding cross section for DM-nuclei elastic scattering extremely small, and can be below the neutrino background induced by the coherent neutrino-nuclei scattering, which makes the DM particle beyond the reach of the conventional DM direct detection experiments. We present an improved analytical calculation of the DM relic density in the case of resonant DM annihilation for s- and p-wave cases and invesitgate the condition for the DM-nuclei scattering cross section to be above the neutrino background. We show that in Higgs-portal type models, for DM particles with s-wave annihilation, the spin-independent DM-nucleus scattering cross section is proportional to ΓR/mR, the ratio of the decay width and the mass of R. For a typical DM particle mass ~50 GeV, the condition leads to ΓR/mR ≥O(10-4). In p-wave annihilation case, the spin-independent scattering cross section is insensitive to ΓR/mR, and is always above the neutrino background, as long as the DM particle is lighter than the top quark. The real singlet DM model is discussed as a concrete example.  相似文献

We provide a comprehensive test of factorization in the heavy–heavy B decays motivated by the recent experimental data from the BELLE and BABAR collaborations. The penguin effects are not negligible in the B decays with two pseudoscalar mesons. The direct CP asymmetries are found to be a few percent. We give estimates on the weak annihilation contributions by analogy to the observed annihilation-dominated processes. The Nc insensitivity of branching ratios indicates that the soft final state interactions are not dominant. We also study the polarizations in B→D*D(s)* decays. The power law shows that the transverse perpendicular polarization fraction is small. The effects of the heavy quark symmetry breaking caused by the perturbative QCD and power corrections on the transverse polarization are also investigated.  相似文献

We introduce the vector meson contributions in heavy-light chiral perturbation theory (HLCPT) and construct the Lagrangian and current. to the order 1/mQ. With this, to the order 1/∧csb2(∧csb is the chiral symmetry breaking scale) we calculate corrections to fD and fB arising from coupled-channel effects to the orders 1/mC, and 1/mb. At the tree level in HLCPT, using the relativistic Bethe-Salpeter (BS) equation with the kernel containing a confinement term and a gluon exchange term in a covarian t generalization of the coulomb gauge we calculate fD(0) and fB(0) when mQ→∞ as well as the 1/mQ corrections. HLCPT and the heavy quark effective theory (HQET) are matched at the scale ACsb. Adding the perturbative and nonperturbative contributions we give the values for fD and fB, respectively. It is found that our result is in agreement with the relation fD = fB fiom lattice calculations.  相似文献

双轻子是研究夸克物质的形成和性质的重要探针.本文基于化学平衡化的黏滞性夸克胶子等离子体演化模型,计算了相对论重离子碰撞能量下金-金对心碰撞形成的夸克胶子等离子体中的双轻子产额.在黏滞性计算中加入了胶子非弹性散射过程对黏滞系数的贡献.相较仅考虑夸克和胶子弹性散射的情况,双轻子的产额有较明显的降低.这表明在黏滞系数中加入胶子非弹性散射的贡献使得系统的演化过程加快,演化时间变短.  相似文献

We employ a non-relativistic version of QCD (NRQCD) to study heavy bound states in the lowest approximation without fine structure. We use gluon configurations on a 63×48 lattice at β=6.2 from the UKQCD Collaboration. For a bare quark mass near that of the b-quark (Ma=1.6) we obtain the bound state masses for the S-, P- and both types of D-waves. We also detect signals for two types of hybriges ( states). The results are sufficiently accurate to confirm that the values of the D-wave mass from both D-waves coincide thus indicating that the cubical invariance of the lattice is restored to full rotational invariance to a good approximation. We also study S- and P-wave masses for values of the range of bare quark mass Ma=1.0, 1.3, 1.6 and 1.9. The results confirm the idea that the S/P-splitting is relatively insensitive to the value of the bare quark mass.  相似文献

In the context of the left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we fist study single production of the standard model (SM) top quark via e-γ collisions. We find that the corrections of the LRTH model to the cross section of the process e-γ→νebt might be observed only for f≤750 GeV and the heavy top quark mass scale M≥500 GeV in future high energy linear e+e- collider (LC) experiment with the center-of-mass (CM) energy s½=500 GeV and a yearly integrated luminosity of £=100 fb-1. We also consider single production of the heavy top quark T via e-γ collisions. Our numerical results show that the possible signals of the heavy top quark T might be observed via the decay channel T→φ+b→tbb in future LC experiment with s½=3 TeV and £=500 fb-1.  相似文献

The charmonium and bottomonium mass spectra are investigated systematically in potential nonrelativistic QCD with the heavy quark potential computed by lattice QCD simulations nonperturbatively. The potential consists of a static potential and relativistic corrections classified in powers of the inverse of heavy quark mass m, and the effects of the O(1/m) correction, the O(1/m 2) spin–orbit and spin–tensor corrections on the mass spectra are examined systematically. The pattern of the mass spectra is found to be in fairly good agreement with the experimental data, in which the O(1/m) correction gives an important contribution.  相似文献

We estimate, in the scheme, the strenghts of the higher order QCD (s2, s3) and quark mass (mf2, mf4, s(mf2, mf4)) corrections to the Z widths in the standard model (SM). Then, we give improved SM predictions of these widths. The observables ΓHe and σH, which can be predicted and measured accurately are almost insensitive to the changes of the Higgs ( 40 GeV MH 1 TeV) and top quark (MzMt230 GeV) masses. Then, they should be useful in the high precision tests of the SM> Improved estimates of some quantities related to the width which are sensitive to the top quark mass are also given.  相似文献
