With the inclusion of the isovector scalar channel in the meson-nucleon couplings, taking DD-MEδ as an effective interaction, the moments of inertia of neutron stars possessing various stellar masses are studied within the density dependent relativistic mean field(RMF) theory. The isovector scalar channel contributes to the softening of the neutron-star matter equation of state(EOS)and therefore the reduction of the maximum mass and radius of neutron stars. Smaller values of the total moment of inertia I and the crustal moment of inertia ?I are then obtained in DD-MEδ via numerical procedure in comparison with those in other selected RMF functionals. In addition, the involvement of the isovector scalar channel lowers the thickness of the neutron star crust and its mass fraction as well. The sensitivity to both the crustal mass and stellar radius causes the crustal moment of inertia to be more obviously reduced than the total one, eventually leading to a suppression on the fraction of crustal moment of inertia?I/I in DD-MEδ. The results indicate the crustal moment of inertia as a more sensitive probe of the neutron-star matter EOS than the total one, and demonstrate that the isovector scalar meson-nucleon couplings in the RMF theory could exert influence over the physics of pulsar glitches.  相似文献

Within the approach based on analyticity and unitarity, the experimental data on the isoscalar S and D waves of the ππ → ππ, K\(\bar K\), ηη, ηη′ processes have been jointly analyzed for studying the status and quantum chromodynamics nature of the f 0 andf 2 mesons. Assignment of scalar and tensor mesons to lower nonets is proposed. Two states (f 0 (1500) and f 2 (2000)) are interpreted as glueballs.  相似文献

We discuss the finite-temperature generalization of time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT). The theory is directly analogous to that at temperature T = 0. For example, the finite-T TDDFT exchange-correlation kernel fxc(T, n) in the local density approximation can again be expressed as a density derivative of the exchange correlation potential fxc(T, n) = [?vxc(T, n)∕?n]δ(r ? r), where n = NV is the electron number density. An approximation for the kernel fxc(T, n) is obtained from the finite-T generalization of the retarded cumulant expansion applied to the homogeneous electron gas. Results for fxc and the loss function are presented for a wide range of temperatures and densities including the warm dense matter regime, where TTF, the electron degeneracy temperature. The theory also permits a physical interpretation of the exchange and correlation contributions to the theory.  相似文献

VUV 4f n → 4fn?15d transitions of Gd3+, Er3+, Tm3+, and Lu3+ in fluoride matrices have been analyzed with high-resolution luminescence and excitation spectroscopy. In trifluorides, strong electron-phonon coupling has been found. In the other matrices, the luminescence spectra clearly yield zero-phonon lines and phonon replica, indicating intermediate coupling. The energies of the zero-phonon lines observed are compared with theoretical predictions. Near the threshold of fd excitations, some of the excitation spectra yield sharp structures which cannot be explained with phonon replica but will be discussed in terms of the energy levels of the 4fn?15d configuration.  相似文献

The emergence of transverse polarization of the lepton in the decay processes B0D?l+νl and \(B^ + \to \bar D^0 l + \nu _l \) for l = τ, μ is studied on the basis of the Standard Model in the leading approximation of heavy-quark effective theory. It is shown that a nonzero transverse polarization appears owing to electromagnetic final-state interactions at the one-loop level. Diagrams involving D and D* mesons in the intermediate state and making a nonzero contribution to the transverse polarization of the outgoing lepton are considered. If only these mesons are taken into account in evaluating the mean values of the τ-lepton polarization in the decays B0D?τ+ντ and \(B^ + \to \bar D^0 \tau ^ + \nu _\tau \), the results are 2.60×10-3 and ?1.59×10?3, respectively. The corresponding values of the transverse muon polarization averaged over the Dalitz plot are 2.97×10?4 and-6.79×10?4.  相似文献

The decay of mesons K +π ? l + l+ and D +K ? l + l+ (l, l′ = e, μ) involving a change of lepton number ΔL = 2 is considered in a supersymmetric extension of the standard model in which R-parity is not conserved due to trilinear Yukawa interactions. The obtained estimates for the probabilities of these decays are significantly lower than the direct experimental upper limits.  相似文献

A triple dispersion relation is derived for the functionf(s, t, u) which becomes the scattering amplitudef(s, t) foru=4s?t. Besides the usual conditions which are needed for deriving a dispersion relation ins, the potential must decrease faster than exponentially at infinity. For this class of potentialsf(s, t, u) has essential singularities fort→∞ andu→∞. It is shown thatf(s, t, u) is bounded in the physical sheets of two independent Riemannian surfaces which are constructed by conformal mappings of thet- and theu-plane. In the new variables the conditions for the existence of dispersion relations are fulfilled.  相似文献

The constraints following from gauge invariance and analyticity are considered for the amplitudes of radiative transitions of composite systems, when composite systems are treated in terms of spectral integrals. We discuss gauge-invariant amplitudes for the transitions SγS and VγS, with scalar S and vector V mesons being two-particle composite systems of scalar (or pseudoscalar) constituents, and we demonstrate the mechanism of cancellation of false kinematical singularities. Furthermore, we explain how to generalize this consideration for quark-antiquark systems, in particular, for the reaction φ(1020) → γf0(980). Here, we also consider in more detail the quark-model nonrelativistic approach for this reaction.  相似文献

The photoproduction of J/ψ mesons is considered on the basis of the parton model and in the kT-factorization approach in the leading order in α s . It is shown that, at specific values of the charmed-quark mass and the J/ψ-meson wave function at the origin, the predictions of the two approaches for the total cross section and z spectra of J/ψ mesons nearly coincide and agree with experimental data obtained at the HERA ep collider. At the same time, the parton model and the theory of semihard processes predict significantly different pT spectra of J/ψ mesons and significantly different transverse-momentum dependences of the ratio of the cross sections for the production of longitudinally and transversely polarized J/ψ mesons. It is expected that nontrivial effects of low-x physics will clearly manifest themselves in experimentally testing this fact.  相似文献

Let \({\mathfrak{D}}\) be the space consists of pairs (f, g), where f is a univalent function on the unit disc with f(0) = 0, g is a univalent function on the exterior of the unit disc with g(∞) = ∞ and f′(0)g′(∞) = 1. In this article, we define the time variables \({t_n, n\in \mathbb{Z}}\), on \({\mathfrak{D}}\) which are holomorphic with respect to the natural complex structure on \({\mathfrak{D}}\) and can serve as local complex coordinates for \({\mathfrak{D}}\) . We show that the evolutions of the pair (f, g) with respect to these time coordinates are governed by the dispersionless Toda hierarchy flows. An explicit tau function is constructed for the dispersionless Toda hierarchy. By restricting \({\mathfrak{D}}\) to the subspace Σ consists of pairs where \({f(w)=1/\overline{g(1/\bar{w})}}\), we obtain the integrable hierarchy of conformal mappings considered by Wiegmann and Zabrodin [31]. Since every C 1 homeomorphism γ of the unit circle corresponds uniquely to an element (f, g) of \({\mathfrak{D}}\) under the conformal welding \({\gamma=g^{-1}\circ f}\), the space Homeo C (S 1) can be naturally identified as a subspace of \({\mathfrak{D}}\) characterized by f(S 1) = g(S 1). We show that we can naturally define complexified vector fields \({\partial_n, n\in \mathbb{Z}}\) on Homeo C (S 1) so that the evolutions of (f, g) on Homeo C (S 1) with respect to ? n satisfy the dispersionless Toda hierarchy. Finally, we show that there is a similar integrable structure for the Riemann mappings (f ?1g ?1). Moreover, in the latter case, the time variables are Fourier coefficients of γ and 1/γ ?1.  相似文献

The excitation of even levels of erbium atoms by slow electrons that occurs without a change in the number of electrons in the 4f shell is experimentally studied. The levels investigated belong to the 4f 126s7s, 4f 125d6s, 4f 126s6d configurations. The cross sections measured at an electron energy of 30 eV lie within the range (0.2–18) × 10?18 cm2.  相似文献

The fundamentals of the theory of the electronic structure of impurity clusters and the results of numerical calculations for the iron-, lanthanum-, and actinium-group ions in Me+n: [L]k clusters are presented. The effects of the interionic distance and ligands in the Me+n: [L]k clusters on the electronic structure of the nl N and nlN?1nl′ configurations of the 3d, 4f, and 5f ions are considered. In this paper, we investigate the Noether symmetries of F(T) cosmology involving matter and dark energy. In this model, the dark energy is represented by a canonical scalar field with a potential. Two special cases for dark energy are considered, including phantom energy and quintessence. We obtain F(T)~T 3/4, and the scalar potential V(?)~? 2 for both models of dark energy and discuss quantum picture of this model. Some astrophysical implications are also discussed.  相似文献

The effects of multi-impurity quantum interference on triangular lattice f-wave superconductors are studied by self-consistently solving Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations within the t?t′?J?V model. An overall phase diagram is presented, which shows that f-wave superconductivity dominates near 0.3 doping. Rich phenomena are induced by quantum interference effects, such as periodic modulations in charge orders, pyramid frustum structures, and a magnetic moment reverse transition, which are qualitatively different from the single-impurity case. We also examine the local density of states to show how localized quasiparticle states are created at or near the impurity sites, which can be directly measured by scanning tunneling microscopy experiments.  相似文献

Results of recent studies that indicate that allowance for the relative motion of quarks in mesons leads to an increase in the cross sections for the process e + e ?J/ψη c are confirmed. It is shown that the same effect also leads to an increase in the width of scalar and tensor mesons with respect to their decay to two vector mesons, so that the decays χ b0,2 → 2J/ψ can be used to observe these mesons at the Tevatron collider and LHC.  相似文献

The deep-inelastic production of J/ψ mesons in electron-proton interactions at the HERA collider is considered within the semihard (kT-factorization) QCD approach and within the color-singlet model. The dependence of the Q2, p T 2 , z, y* and W distributions of J/ψ mesons on various sets of unintegrated gluon distributions and the dependence of the spin parameter α on p T 2 and Q2 are investigated. The results of the calculations are compared with the latest experimental data obtained by the H1 and ZEUS Collaborations at the HERA collider. It is shown that experimental investigations of the polarization properties of J/ψ mesons over the kinematical region Q2<1 GeV2 may provide an additional test of the statement that the dynamics of gluon distributions is governed by the Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov equations.  相似文献

It is shown that new data on the (JPC=2++) resonances in the mass range M~1700–2400 MeV support the linearity of the (n, M2) trajectories, where n is the radial quantum number of the quark-antiquark state. In this way, all the vacancies for the isoscalar tensor qq mesons in the range up to 2450 MeV are filled in. This allows one to fix the broad f2 state with M=2000±30 MeV and Г=530±40 MeV as the lowest-tensor glueball.  相似文献
