We report possibility of generating entanglement and steady entanglement between two identical atoms in free space with a very natural way when their spatial separation is on the order of wavelength or less. We show a dynamical creation of entanglement and steady entanglement due to the radiative coupling with different separable initial atomic states and study the entanglement properties about this atomic subsystem. Not only the creation of steady state entanglement is decided by the initial atomic states, but also the magnitude of the entanglement and the steady state entanglement are found to be strongly dependent on the initial states. We derive a master equation for the atomic subspace and solve it analytically to show how the spontaneous emission from the two atoms system induces entanglement and steady entanglement, the crossing coupling terms in master equation can enhance the entanglement value.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamics and protection of quantum entanglement of a qutrit-qutrit system under local amplitude damping channels with finite temperature. We consider two different initial states. We find that the qutrit-qutrit entanglement decays monotonically as the decoherence strength increases, and may go through entanglement sudden death at higher temperature. Special attention is paid to how to protect the quantum entanglement from decoherence by weak measurement and quantum measurement reversal. Our results show that the entanglement increases with the increase of weak measurement strength when the temperature is lower. However, the protections of entanglement by weak measurement and quantum measurement reversal are almost failed and the decays of entanglement goes up with the increase of weak measurement strength for different decoherence strength when the temperature is higher, even entanglement suffers sudden death.

We theoretically study complementarity between micro-micro and micro-macro entanglement in a Bose–Einstein condensate with two Rydberg impurities. We investigate quantum dynamics of micro-micro and micro-macro entanglement in the micro-macro system. It is found that strong micro-macro entanglement between Rydberg impurities and the BEC can be generated by the use of initial micro-micro entanglement between two Rydberg impurities, which acts as the seed entanglement to create micro-macro entanglement. We demonstrate a curious complementarity relation between micro-micro and micro-macro entanglement, and find that the complementarity property can be sustained to some extent even though in the presence of the BEC decoherence.  相似文献

We study the entanglement dynamics of two cavities interacting with independent reservoirs. Expectedly, as the cavity entanglement is depleted, it is transferred to the reservoir degrees of freedom. We find also that when the cavity entanglement suddenly disappears, the reservoir entanglement suddenly and necessarily appears. Surprisingly, we show that this entanglement sudden birth can manifest before, simultaneously, or even after entanglement sudden death. Finally, we present an explanatory study of other entanglement partitions and of higher dimensional systems.  相似文献

We introduce and discuss the concept of modular entanglement. This is the entanglement that is established between the end points of modular systems composed by sets of interacting moduli of arbitrarily fixed size. We show that end-to-end modular entanglement scales in the thermodynamic limit and rapidly saturates with the number of constituent moduli. We clarify the mechanisms underlying the onset of entanglement between distant and noninteracting quantum systems and its optimization for applications to quantum repeaters and entanglement distribution and sharing.  相似文献

We study the entanglement properties of the Kerr couplers with bipartite entanglement parameter and multi-body entanglement parameter, respectively. By analytically and numerically calculate the entanglement parameters, we see that the linear coupling and the nonlinear coupling characterizing the cross-action processes suppress the bipartite entanglement and multi-body entanglement.  相似文献

We study three-body entanglement induced by spontaneous emission in a three two-level atoms system by using the entanglement tensor approach. The results show that the amount of entanglement is strongly dependent on the initial state of the system and the species of atoms. The three-body entanglement is the result of the coherent superposition of the two-body entanglements. The larger the two-body entanglement is, the stronger the three-body entanglement is. On the other hand, if there exists a great difference in three two-body entanglement measures, the three-body entanglement is very weak. We also find that the maximum of the two-body entanglement obtained with nonidentical atoms is greater than that obtained with identical atoms via adjusting the difference in atomic frequency.  相似文献

We study entanglement properties of the three-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg model with both uniform and nonuniform external magnetic fields. Analytic expressions for the measures of entanglement at the ground state are obtained. We show that the pairwise entanglement and global entanglement of the system at the ground state clearly depend on the strength and configuration of external fields. The entanglement between some pairs can be enhanced by non-uniform external fields.  相似文献

The concept of entanglement entropy appears in multiple contexts, from black hole physics to quantum information theory, where it measures the entanglement of quantum states. We investigate the entanglement entropy in a simple model, the spin-boson model, which describes a qubit (two-level system) interacting with a collection of harmonic oscillators that models the environment responsible for decoherence and dissipation. The entanglement entropy allows to make a precise unification between entanglement of the spin with its environment, decoherence, and quantum phase transitions. We derive exact analytical results which are confirmed by Numerical Renormalization Group arguments both for an ohmic and a subohmic bosonic bath. The entanglement entropy obeys universal scalings. We make comparisons with entanglement properties in the quantum Ising model and in the Dicke model. We also emphasize the possibility of measuring this entropy using charge qubits subject to electromagnetic noise; such measurements would provide an empirical proof of the existence of entanglement entropy.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a scheme that solves the entanglement death problem by using a quantum entanglement model. We solved this problem by analyzing the evolutionary properties of entanglement together with the time evolution of the two atomic systems that are independent of each other in space. We then design the related parameter of entanglement death and entanglement, in order to find out the cause of the entanglement death in order to address them, thereby improving the quality of quantum communication.  相似文献

Considering the generalized double Jaynes-Cummings model, we examine the entanglement between two non-identical dipole-dipole coupled qubits interacting with two independent detuned vacuum cavity modes. We calculate the negativity as a measure of qubits entanglement. We find that entanglement parameter evolve periodically with time and the period are affected by the model parameters and initial states of qubits. For unentangled initial states the detuning and dipole-dipole interaction affect only the period of entanglement oscillations, not the maximum value of entanglement. For entangled states the detuning stabilizes the entanglement parameter oscillations. According to choice of initial entangled state the dipole-dipole strength is greatly enhances or weakens the oscillations of the entanglement parameter.

Entanglement irreversibility from quantum discord and quantum deficit   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We relate the problem of irreversibility of entanglement with the recently defined measures of quantum correlation--quantum discord and one-way quantum deficit. We show that the entanglement of formation is always strictly larger than the coherent information and the entanglement cost is also larger in most cases. We prove irreversibility of entanglement under local operations and classical communication for a family of entangled states. This family is a generalization of the maximally correlated states for which we also give an analytic expression for the distillable entanglement, the relative entropy of entanglement, the distillable secret key, and the quantum discord.  相似文献

在一维倾斜场伊辛模型中, 利用并发度和Q测量函数分别对系统的两体纠缠和整体纠缠进行度量, 通过讨论系统中量子纠缠的动力学特性, 能够体现出系统的可积和不可积行为. 由系统基态的纠缠特性可以发现只要倾角不为零时, 系统的Q测量函数会随着磁场的增大而减少, 而用并发度刻画的系统的相变特性, 随着磁场倾角的增大发生了变化. 考虑系统的动力学行为发现, 在一维倾斜场伊辛模型中, 不可积性会抑制两体纠缠, 却促进系统整体纠缠生成. 关键词: 伊辛模型 不可积性 两体纠缠 整体纠缠  相似文献

With the reliance in the processing of quantum information on a cold trapped ion, we analyze the entanglement entropy in the ion-field interaction with pair cat states. We investigate a long-living entanglement allowing the instantaneous position of the center-of-mass motion of the ion to be explicitly time-dependent. An analytic solution for the system operators is obtained. We show that different nonclassical effects arise in the dynamics of the population inversion, depending on the initial states of the vibrational motion. We study in detail the entanglement degree and demonstrate how the input pair cat state is required for initiating the long-living entanglement. This long-living entanglement is damp out with an increase in the number difference q. In this paper,we study quantum dynamics of entanglement and single excitation transfer(SET) in an LH1-RC-type trimer which can describe a basic unit cell in the LH1-RC complex in the photosynthetic process.It is shown that there exists a sudden change of entanglement at the critic point of quantum phase transition(QPT) of the system at low temperatures,the entanglement sudden change caused by the QPT is suppressed at higher temperatures.We investigate the influence of environment on entanglement and SET.We show the generation of the dephasing-assisted entanglement between a donor and an acceptor and the existence of the steady-state entanglement,and demonstrate the entanglement transfer from donor-donor entanglement to donor-acceptor entanglement in the dynamic evolution.We reveal the close relation between the SET probability and donor-acceptor entanglement.Especially,we find that the SET probability is proportional to the amount of donor-acceptor entanglement under certain conditions.  相似文献
