New water-soluble macromolecular palladium complexes with phase transfer ability were used for two-phase Wacker oxidation of higher alkenes. Macromolecular metal complexes have been prepared employing as ligands monobutyl ether of polyethylene oxide and copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide functionalized by β,β'-iminodipropionitrile and acetodinitrile. Macromolecular metal complexes exhibited high activity and selectivity as catalysts for Wacker oxidation of different alkenes: octene-1, dodecene-1, hexadecene-1, styrene, propenylbenzene, cyclooctadiene-1,5. The complexes based on β,β'-iminodipropionitrile ligands showed the highest activity. All catalysts can be easily separated from product and used repeatedly without decrease of activity.  相似文献

Macromolecular prodrugs are very useful systems for achieving controlled drug release and drug targeting. In particular, various macromolecule-antitumor drug conjugates enhance the effectiveness and improve the toxic side effects. Also, polymeric micro- and nanoparticles have been actively examined and their in vivo behaviors elucidated, and it has been realized that their particle characteristics are very useful to control drug behavior. Recently, researches based on the combination of the concepts of macromolecular prodrugs and micro- or nanoparticles have been reported, although they are limited. Macromolecular prodrugs enable drugs to be released at a certain controlled release rate based on the features of the macromolecule-drug linkage. Micro- and nanoparticles can control in vivo behavior based on their size, surface charge and surface structure. These merits are expected for systems produced by the combination of each concept. In this review, several micro- or nanoparticles composed of macromolecule-drug conjugates are described for their preparation, in vitro properties and/or in vivo behavior.  相似文献

Macromolecular cross-linked ligands containing pyridyl pendant groups are characterized by a combination of inverse steric exclusion chromatography, ESR and NMR spectrometries in water and methanol. In the course of preparing the Special Issue of Macromolecular Rapid Communications on High‐Throughput and Combinatorial Methods in Polymer Science, the question arose of how a global company such as Bayer coordinates its activities in high‐throughput experimentation (HTE). Being usually confronted with research results in the form of publications as in this issue, Macromolecular Rapid Communications was interested in the earlier stages of management and development, and wished to provide a look behind the scenes. Thiazine and phenazine dyes are known to exhibit photoredox behavior in the excited states of these molecules. These dyes are covalently attached to macromolecules, and the photochemistry has been investigated in homogeneous solution and as thin films coated onto electrodes. Flash photolysis of the macromolecular thionine in the presence of quenchers shows reduction of the dye and the subsequent disproportionation of the reduced dye. In the case of macromolecular thionine, evidence for the formation of a complex between ferrous ion and thionine is observed in the flash photolysis experiments. Photoelectrochemical studies show a new type of behavior for the macromolecular dye films coated onto electrodes. Macromolecular thionine film coated onto platinum electrode makes the electrode a cathode on illumination of the electrode. Macromolecular phenosafranine dye films coated onto electrodes change the polarity of the illuminated electrode depending upon the nature of the macromolecule.  相似文献

Macromolecular conjugates enable simultaneous binding of multiple ligands on one biological entity and these polyvalent interactions can be collectively stronger than the corresponding monovalent ligands. We have synthesized macromolecules and conjugated them with a lectin (Helix Pomatia lectin, HPA), and an antibody, both with shown affinities to certain bacteria. The binding ability was studied by flow cytometry and the results showed that the affinity of the biomolecules was greatly enhanced due to the polyvalent effect.  相似文献

Macromolecular effects were revealed in the course of enzymatic degradation of chitosan in an acetic acid solution under the action of hyaluronidase, a nonspecific enzyme. It was shown that the concentration of chitosan in the initial solution determines its supramolecular organization and, hence, the degree of enzymatic degradation.  相似文献
