Mononuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu L1] (ClO4)2 (1), [Cu L2] (ClO4)2 (2) and [Cu L3] (ClO4)2 (3) with quadridentate Schiff base ligands L1 (N,N′-bis-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-butane-1,4-diimine), L2 (N,N′-bis-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-pentane-1,5-diimine) and L3 (N,N′-bis-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-hexane-1,6-diimine) have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal structure data of 1 reveals the existence of the complex in two different geometries, namely a square pyramid and a distorted octahedron, which eventually leads to the packing of the molecule into helical and anti-parallel structures respectively. Absorption titration studies with calf thymus DNA for all three complexes are suggestive of groove binding with binding constant values for 1, 2 and 3 being 2.6 ± 0.2 × 104 M−1, 11.5 ± 0.2 × 104 M−1 and 1.83 ± 0.2 × 104 M−1 respectively. Control cleavage experiments using pBR 322 plasmid DNA and distamycin suggest minor groove binding for these complexes. In the presence of ascorbic acid, the complexes show efficient DNA cleavage, the order of efficiency being 1 > 2 ≅ 3.  相似文献

Five oxovanadium(IV) complexes [VO(X4salen)] have been prepared and characterized, where each benzene ring was substituted with two halogen atoms in salen (H2salen = N,N′-disalicylideneethylenediamine). The X-ray diffraction study on 3,3′,5,5′-tetrachloro-, 3,3′,5,5′-tetrabromo-, and 4,4′,6,6′-tetrachlorosalen derivatives clarified their polymeric structure with the (-VO-)n repeating unit. The interatomic V···V distances are 3.710(3), 3.695(3), and 3.749(3) Å, respectively, being shorter than that of known [VO(salpn)] (3.83 Å; H2salpn = N,N′-disalicylidenepropylenediamine). The exchange coupling parameters (J) were determined by fitting the magnetic susceptibility data to the one-dimensional ferromagnetic model, giving 2J/kB = 8.2-16 K, which are the largest in the [VO(salen)] and [VO(salpn)] family.  相似文献

A large, covalent macrocycle that can be served as an artificial allosteric model was prepared in a reasonable yield (36%) through the template-directed synthesis. The macrocycle contains two topologically discrete subcavities, each of which consists of four amide NHs of pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide units. The macrocycle strongly binds two molecules of N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylterephthalamide in positive cooperative manner by hydrogen-bonding interactions. The association constants were calculated to be K1 = 1480 ± 90 and K2 = 5580 ± 150 M−1 with the Hill coefficient (h) of 1.6 at 25 °C in CDCl3.  相似文献

Novel heteroscorpionate-containing tin and organotin(IV) complexes, [SnRnX3 − n(L)], R = Me, Bun, Ph, or cy; X = Cl, Br or I, n = 0, 1, 2 or 3; L = bis(pyrazol-1-yl)acetate (bpza) or bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate (bdmpza), have been synthesized and characterized by spectral (IR, 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR, 119mSn Mössbauer) and analytical data. In [SnI3(bdmpza)], the ligand is fac-N,N′,O-tridentate, the three iodine atoms thus also fac about the six-coordinate tin(IV) atom. Neutral bpzaH reacts with BunSnCl3, PhSnCl3 and SnCl4 in Et2O in the absence of base, yielding 1:1 adducts [XSnCl3(bpzaH)] (X = R or Cl).  相似文献

Three copper(II) Schiff-base complexes, [Cu(L1)(H2O)](ClO4) (1), [Cu(L2)] (2) and [Cu(L3)] (3) have been synthesized and characterized [where HL1 = 1-(N-ortho-hydroxy-acetophenimine)-2-methyl-pyridine], H2L2 = N,N′-(2-hydroxy-propane-1,3-diyl)-bis-salicylideneimine and H2L3 = N,N′-(2,2-dimethyl-propane-1,3-diyl)-bis-salicylideneimine]. The structure of complex 1 has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. In complex 1, the copper(II) ion is coordinated to one oxygen atom and two nitrogen atoms of the tridentate Schiff-base ligand, HL1. The fourth coordination site of the central metal ion is occupied by the oxygen atom from a water molecule. All the complexes exhibit high catalytic activity in the oxidation reactions of a variety of olefins with tert-butyl-hydroperoxide in acetonitrile. The catalytic efficacy of the copper(II) complexes towards olefin oxidation reactions has been studied in different solvent media.  相似文献

Enthalpies for the two proton ionizations of the biochemical buffers N-[2-hydroxyethyl]piperazine-N′-[2-ethane sulfonic acid] (HEPES) and N-[2-hydroxyethyl]piperazine-N′-[2-hydroxypropane sulfonic acid] (HEPPSO) were obtained in water-methanol mixtures with methanol mole fraction (Xm) from 0 to 0.360. With increasing methanol, the ionization enthalpy for the first proton (ΔH1) of HEPES increased steadily from 8.4 to 15.3 kJ mol−1 whereas that for HEPPSO rose to a maximum of 21.0 kJ mol−1 at Xm = 0.123 before dropping to 18.4 kJ mol−1 at Xm = 0.360. The ionization enthalpy for the second proton (ΔH2) of HEPES varied from 20.8 kJ mol−1 in water to 13.6 kJ mol−1 at Xm = 0.360 with a maximum of 24.8 kJ mol−1 at Xm = 0.194. For HEPPSO, ΔH2 increased steadily from 23.4 to 29.2 kJ mol−1. The solvent composition was selected so as to include the region of maximum structure enhancement of water by methanol. The results were interpreted in terms of solvent-solvent and solvent-solute interactions.  相似文献

A series of [Rh(COD)(X2-bipy)]BF4 complexes (COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene; X2-bipy = 4,4′-disubstituted 2,2′-bipyridines; X = OCH3, CH3, H, Cl or NO2) has been prepared from [Rh(COD)Cl]2. The complexes for X = OCH3, Cl and NO2 have not been described previously in the literature. All complexes have been characterised by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and UV-Vis spectrometry. This series of complexes presents a wide variation on electron density over the metal centre with virtually no variation on its steric environment which discloses interesting possibilities for catalytic and electro-catalytic studies. A preliminary evaluation of these complexes on the hydroformylation of camphene and β-pinene showed that under the rather drastic conditions employed the complexes acted as a precursor for [Rh(CO)3H], which accounts for most of the catalytic activity.  相似文献

Intramolecular hydrogen bonding between N′H and the pyridyl nitrogen and intermolecular hydrogen bonding involving the thione sulfur are affected by substitution of the pyridine ring, as is the planarity of the molecule. 1H NMR studies in CDCl3 show the NH′ hydrogen resonance considerably downfield from other resonances in the spectrum for each thiourea.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterisation of three novel mononuclear ruthenium(II) complexes containing one of the following chiral auxiliary ligands: 2-amino-(4R)-phenyl-2-oxazoline (amphox), indanyl-2-amino-(4R,5S)-2-oxazoline (aminox) or indanyl-(2′-anilinyl)-(4R,5S)-2-oxazoline (aninox) is described using [Ru2Cl46-p-cym)2] (p-cym = 1-isopropyl-4-methylbenzene) as the Ru starting material. The new complexes have been identified as the neutral derivatives [RuCl26-p-cym)(amphox-κ1Nox)] (1), [RuCl26-p-cym)(aminox-κ1Nox)] (2) and the salt [RuCl(η6-p-cym)(aninox-κ2N,N′)]Cl (3). These materials have been fully characterised (elemental analysis, NMR, IR, conductance, MS, etc.) and, in the case of 2 and 3, structurally elucidated in the solid-state using single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. All three complexes show good catalytic activity (max. conversion >99%, TOF = 424 h−1) but only modest enantio-selectivity (max. ee = 40%) for the transfer hydrogenation reaction of acetophenone with isopropyl alcohol. The complexes were also tested in an asymmetric Diels-Alder reaction involving cyclopentadiene and acrolein (max. conversion >99%, TOF = 42 h−1). In this case, the diastereo-selectivity was good to moderate (max. de = 84%), but the ee values were poor (max. ee = 12%).  相似文献

Four azide bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(LX)2(N3)2](ClO4)2, with LX = substituted N,N-bis[(3,5-dimethylpyrazole-1-yl)-methyl]benzylamine, [X = H (1), OMe (2), Me (3) and Cl (4)] have been synthesized, out of which complexes 1 and 2 have been characterized structurally. In Complex 1 the two bridging azide ligands have connected the two metal centers in an end-on (EO) fashion with aSP (asymmetric Square Pyramidal) geometry and showed an weak antiferromagnetic interaction (J = −3.34 cm−1). On the contrary, in complex 2, the two metal centers have been connected in end-to-end (EE) fashion exhibiting moderately strong ferromagnetic interaction (J = +19.7 cm−1). Cyclic voltammetric studies performed on all the four complexes show a reasonably good correlations when E1/2 for CuIICuII → CuIICuIII and CuIICuIII → CuIIICuIII oxidations are plotted against σ (substituent constants) with ρ = −0.182 (R= 0.92) and −0.684 (R= 0.99) respectively.  相似文献

Solvatochromic mixed-chelate copper(II) complexes, [Cu(Cl-acac)(diamine)]X (where Cl-acac = 3-chloroacetylacetonate ion, diamine = N,N′-dimethyl,N′-benzyl-1,2-diaminoethane and X = B(Ph)4, PF6, BF4 and ClO4), have been prepared. The complexes were characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductance, UV-Vis and IR spectroscopies. Single crystals of [Cu(Cl-acac)(diamine)(H2O)]PF6, complex 2, were also characterized by X-ray diffraction. The influence of the solvent polarity and counter ions on the νmax values of the d-d bands of the complexes have been investigated by means of visible spectroscopy. All the complexes demonstrated negative solvatochromism. A multi-parametric equation has been utilized to explain the solvent effect on the d-d transition of the complexes using SPSS/PC software. The stepwise multiple linear regression (SMLR) method demonstrated that the donor power of the solvent plays the most important role in the solvatochromism of the compounds. The relative donor power of the anions X was determined by visible spectra in the solvent dichloromethane.  相似文献

Derivatives of ethylenediamine-N-acetic acid (EDAA = N-aminoethylglycine = AEG) and ortho-phenylenediamine-N-acetic acid (PDAA) with uncharged substituents on one or both of the amines form neutral complexes with a [99mTc(CO)3]+-moiety. We studied the influence of different modifications at the amines (e.g., with methyl, ethyl, butyl or benzyl groups) on the behaviour of the 99mTc(CO)3-complexes in vivo in mice, with special focus on blood-brain barrier (BBB) passage. The complexes have been characterised by reversed phase HPLC, log P, electrophoresis and some of them also by LC-MS. Log P values of the 99mTc-tricarbonyl complexes varied from −0.52 (AEG) to 2.5 (N,N′-dibenzyl-EDAA). With increasing lipophilicity, more of the activity was found in liver and intestines as compared to kidneys and urine for the more polar complexes. Brain uptake was found for the 99mTc(CO)3-complexes with N,N′-dibutyl-ethylenediamine-N-acetic acid (0.34% of I.D. after 2 min) and ortho-phenylenediamine-N-acetic acid (0.22% of I.D. after 2 min).  相似文献

The synthesis of a series of anionic half-sandwich ruthenium-arene complexes [E][RuCl26-p-cymene){PR2(p-Ph3BC6H4)}] (E = Bu4N+: R = Ph, 1a, iPr, 1b or Cy, 1c; E = bis(triphenylphosphine)iminium or PNP+: R = Ph, 1a′, iPr, 1b′ or Cy, 1c′) are reported. X-ray crystallographic studies of 1a′ and 1b′ confirmed the three-legged piano-stool coordination geometry. In solution, complexes 1a-c and 1a-c′ are proposed to form monomer-dimer equilibria as a result of chloride ligand dissociation. Complexes 1a-c and 1a-c′ also form the formally neutral zwitterionic complexes [RuCl(L)(η6-p-cymene){PR2(p-Ph3BC6H4)}] (L = pyridine: R = Ph, 2a, iPr, 2b or Cy, 2c; L = MeCN: R = Ph, 3a, iPr, 3b or Cy, 3c) via chloride ligand abstraction using AgNO3 or MeOTf.  相似文献

The complex [(η5-C5H5)Ru(PPh3)2Cl] (1) reacts with several arylazoimidazole (RaaiR′) ligands, viz., 2-(phenylazo)imidazole (Phai-H), 1-methyl-2-(phenylazo)imidazole (Phai-Me), 1-ethyl-2-(phenylazo)imidazole (Phai-Et), 2-(tolylazo)imidazole (Tai-H), 1-methyl-2-(tolylazo)imidazole (Tai-Me) and 1-ethyl-2-(tolylazo)imidazole (Tai-Et), gave complexes of the type [(η5-C5H5)Ru(PPh3)(RaaiR′)]+ {where R, R′ = H (2), R = H, R′ = CH3 (3), R = H, R′ = C2H5 (4), R = CH3, R′ = H (5), R, R′ = CH3 (6), R = CH3, R′ = C2H5 (7)}. The complex [(η5-C9H7)Ru(PPh3)2(CH3CN)]+ (8) undergoes reactions with a series of N,N-donor azo ligands in methanol yielding complexes of the type [(η5-C9H7) Ru(PPh3)(RaaiR′)]+ {where R, R′ = H (9), R = H, R′ = CH3 (10), R = CH3, R′ = H (11), R = CH3, R′ = C2H5 (12)}, respectively. These complexes were characterized by FT IR and FT NMR spectroscopy as well as by analytical data. The molecular structure of the complex [(η5-C5H5)Ru(PPh3)(C6H5-NN-C3H3N2)]+ (2) was established by single crystal X-ray diffraction study.  相似文献

Treatment of [M(H2Li)] with UCl4 in pyridine led to the formation of the dinuclear complexes [MLi(py)UCl2(py)2] and/or [Hpy][MLi(py)UCl3] [Li = N,N′-bis(3-hydroxysalicylidene)-R, R = 1,2-phenylenediamine (i = 1), R = trans-1,2-cyclohexanediamine (i = 2), R = 2-amino-benzylamine (i = 3), R = 1,3-propanediamine (i = 4), R = 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine (i = 5); M = Cu or Ni]. The crystal structures show that the 3d and 5f ions occupy, respectively, the N2O2 and O4 cavities of the Schiff base ligand, the U4+ ion adopting a dodecahedral or pentagonal bipyramidal configuration in the neutral and anionic complexes, respectively.  相似文献

1,8-Naphthyridine (napy) and terpyridine-analogous (N,N,C) tridentate ligands coordinated ruthenium (II) complexes, [RuL(napy-κ2N,N′) (dmso)](PF6)2 (1: L=L1=N″-methyl-4′-methylthio-2,2′:6′,4″-terpyridinium, 2: L = L2 = N″-methyl-4′-methylthio-2,2′:6′,3″-terpyridinium) were prepared and their chemical and electrochemical properties were characterized. The structure of complex 1 was determined by X-ray crystallographic study, showing that it has a distorted octahedral coordination style. The cyclic voltammogram of 1 in DMF exhibited two reversible ligand-localized redox couples. On the other hand, the CV of 2 shows two irreversible cathodic peaks, due to the Ru-C bond of 2 containing the carbenic character. The IR spectra of 1 in CO2-saturated CH3CN showed the formation of Ru-(η1-CO2) and Ru-CO complexes under the controlled potential electrolysis of the solution at −1.44 V (vs. Fc/Fc+). The electrochemical reduction of CO2 catalyzed by 1 at −1.54 V (vs. Fc/Fc+) in DMF-0.1 M Me4NBF4 produced CO with a small amount of HCO2H.  相似文献

New Ru(II) complexes with dicationic ligand, [Ru(phen)2L1]4+(1) and [Ru(phen)2L2]4+(2) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline; L: L1 = 5,5′-di(1-(triethylammonio)methyl)-2,2′-dipyridyl cation; L2 = 5,5′-di(1-(tributylammonio)methyl)-2,2′-dipyridyl cation) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The interaction of these complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) has been investigated. The intrinsic binding constants (Kb: 1, 7.73 × 104 M−1; 2, 2.50 × 104 M−1) determined by absorption spectral titrations of these complexes with CT-DNA indicate the DNA-binding affinity of 1 is stronger than that of 2. Both complexes can display luminescence either alone in aqueous solution or in the presence of DNA. Equilibrium dialysis experiments monitored by CD spectroscopy reveal the preferential binding of the Δ-enantiomer to the right-handed CT-DNA. DNA-viscosity studies suggest that the binding modes are different, 1 may partially intercalate between DNA base-pairs while 2 most likely interact with DNA in an electrostatic binding mode.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of new symmetrical FeII complexes, [FeLA(NCS)2] (1), and [FeLBx(NCS)2] (24), are reported (LA is the tetradentate Schiff base N,N′-bis(1-pyridin-2-ylethylidene)-2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diamine, and LBx stands for the family of tetradentate Schiff bases N,N′-bis[(2-R-1H-imidazol-4-yl)methylene]-2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diamine, with: R = H for LB1 in 2, R = Me for LB2 in 3, and R = Ph for LB3 in 4). Single-crystal X-ray structures have been determined for 1 (low-spin state at 293 K), 2 (high-spin (HS) state at 200 K), and 3 (HS state at 180 K). These complexes remain in the same spin-state over the whole temperature range [80–400 K]. The dissymmetrical tetradentate Schiff base ligands LCx, N-[(2-R2-1H-imidazol-4-yl)methylene]-N′-(1-pyridin-2-ylethylidene)-2,2-R1-propane-1,3-diamine (R1 = H, Me; R2 = H, Me, Ph), containing both pyridine and imidazole rings were obtained as their [FeLCx(NCS)2] complexes, 510, through reaction of the isolated aminal type ligands 2-methyl-2-pyridin-2-ylhexahydropyrimidine (R1 = H, 57) or 2,5,5-trimethyl-2-pyridin-2-ylhexahydropyrimidine (R1 = Me, 810) with imidazole-4-carboxaldehyde (R2 = H: 5, 8), 2-methylimidazole-4-carboxaldehyde (R2 = Me: 6, 9), and 2-phenyl-imidazole-4-carboxaldehyde (R2 = Ph: 7, 10) in the presence of iron(II) thiocyanate. Together with the single-crystal X-ray structures of 7 and 9, variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and Mössbauer studies of 510 showed that it is possible to tune the spin crossover properties in the [FeLCx(NCS)2] series by changing the 2-imidazole and/or C2-propylene susbtituent of LCx.  相似文献

A novel dichloro zinc complex (L1)ZnCl2, where L1 is N,N′-bis-(2,6-dichloro-benzyl)-(R,R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane, has been synthesized and characterized. The dimethyl derivatives, generated in situ from the well characterized dichloro zinc complexes (L1)ZnCl2 and (L2)ZnCl2, where L2 is N,N′-bis-(benzyl)-(R,R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane, were employed as initiators for the ring opening polymerization (ROP) of rac-lactide (rac-LA). The complexes were found to be highly efficient initiators yielding the polylactide (PLA) with a narrow molecular weight distribution. The catalytic activity and heterotactic selectivity of the Zn(II) complexes were affected by the substituents on the phenyl groups of benzyl moieties in (R,R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane. The dimethyl derivative of (L2)ZnCl2 produced highly stereocontrolled PLA with Pr = 0.75 at −25 °C.  相似文献

[(RR′-admpzp)2Ti(OPri)2] complexes (2a-c), synthesized from reaction of Ti(OPri)3Cl (0.5 equiv) with 1-dialkylamino-3-(3,5-dimethyl-pyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol compounds in the presence of triethylamine (0.5 equiv), are pseudo-octahedral with each RR′-admpzp ligand κ2-O,N(pyrazolyl) coordinated to the titanium center. In solution, 2a-c adopt isomeric structures that are in dynamic equilibrium. At 23 °C, 2a-c/1000 MAO catalyst systems furnished high molecular weight polymers with narrow molecular weight distributions (Mw/Mn = 2.7-2.8). At 100 °C, 2a-c/MAO catalyst systems exhibited increased polymerization activity and 2c/1000 MAO system furnished high molecular weight polyethylene with a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn = 2.1) that is close to that found for single-site catalysts.  相似文献
