We show a scheme to distribute the entanglement by using three-mode separable Gaussian state prepared with imperfect equipments.The scheme achieves the aim that the entanglement is distributed between two distant parties with only Gaussian operations and linear optics elements.Moreover,we analyse the logarithmic negativity of the entanglement shared between the two parties when the systems are imperfect and arrive at the conclusion that the logarithmic negativity is asymptotically stable with fluctuations within a certain space range.  相似文献

It is proven that logarithmic negativity does not increase on average under a general positive partial transpose preserving operation (a set of operations that incorporate local operations and classical communication as a subset) and, in the process, a further proof is provided that the negativity does not increase on average under the same set of operations. Given that the logarithmic negativity is not a convex function this result is surprising, as it is generally considered that convexity describes the local physical process of losing information. The role of convexity and, in particular, its relation (or lack thereof) to physical processes is discussed and importance of continuity in this context is stressed.  相似文献

A detailed study of the effects of phase fluctuation and dephasing on the dynamics of the entanglement generated from a coherently pumped correlated emission laser is presented. It is found that the time evolution of the entanglement significantly depends on the phase fluctuation and dephasing, particularly, at early stages of the lasing process. In the absence of the external driving radiation, the degree of entanglement turns out to attain a maximum value just before starting to exhibit oscillation that dies at a longer time scale. However, in case the driving mechanism is on, the oscillatory nature disappears due to the additional induced coherent superposition and the degree of entanglement can be larger at steady state. Moreover, the degree of entanglement as predicted by the logarithmic negativity and the Duan-Giedke-Cirac-Zoller criteria exhibits a similar nature when there is no driving radiation, although such a trend is eroded with increasing strength of the pumping radiation at a longer time scale. It is also observed that the phase fluctuation and dephasing can increase the time at which the maximum entanglement is detected.  相似文献

We present a theoretical method to determine the multipartite entanglement between different partitions of multimode, fully or partially symmetric Gaussian states of continuous variable systems. For such states, we determine the exact expression of the logarithmic negativity and show that it coincides with that of equivalent two-mode Gaussian states. Exploiting this reduction, we demonstrate the scaling of the multipartite entanglement with the number of modes and its reliable experimental estimate by direct measurements of the global and local purities.  相似文献

An experimental scheme is suggested that permits a direct measure of entanglement in a two-qubit cavity system. It is realized in the cavity-QED technology utilizing atoms as flying qubits. With this scheme we generate two different measures of entanglement, namely logarithmic negativity and concurrence. The phenomenon of sudden death entanglement (ESD) in a bipartite system subjected to dissipative environment is examined. We show that the sudden death time of the entangled states depends on the initial preparation of the entangled state and the temperature of the reservoir.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement of a three-level atom in λ configuration interacting with two quantized field modes by using logarithmic negativity. Then, we study the relationship of the atomic coherence and the entanglement between two fields which are initially prepared in vacuum or thermal states. We find that if the two fields are prepared in thermal states, the atomic coherence can induce the entanglement between two thermal fields. However, there is no coherence-induced entanglement between two vacuum fields.  相似文献

We study the loss of entanglement of a bipartite state subjected to discarding or measurement of one qubit. Examining behavior of different entanglement measures, we find that entanglement of formation, entanglement cost, logarithmic negativity, and one-way distillable entanglement are lockable measures in that they can decrease arbitrarily after measuring one qubit. We prove that any convex and asymptotically noncontinuous measure is lockable. As a consequence, all the convex-roof measures can be locked. The relative entropy of entanglement is shown to be a nonlockable measure.  相似文献

We study the entanglement cost under quantum operations preserving the positivity of the partial transpose (PPT operations). We demonstrate that this cost is directly related to the logarithmic negativity, thereby providing the operational interpretation for this entanglement measure. As examples we discuss general Werner states and arbitrary bipartite Gaussian states. Then we prove that for the antisymmetric Werner state PPT cost and PPT entanglement of distillation coincide. This is the first example of a truly mixed state for which entanglement manipulation is asymptotically reversible, which points towards a unique entanglement measure under PPT operations.  相似文献

Non-Gaussian and nonclassical states and processes are already found to be important resources for performing various tasks related to quantum gravity and quantum information processing. Considering these facts, a quantitative analysis of the nonclassical and non-Gaussian features is performed here for photon added displaced Fock state, as a test case, using a set of measures, namely entanglement potential, Wigner–Yanese skew information, Wigner logarithmic negativity, and relative entropy of non-Gaussianity. It is observed that Fock parameter always increases the amount of nonclassicality and non-Gaussianity, while photon addition is effective only for small values of the displacement parameter. Further, the nonclassical and non-Gaussian effects decrease initially with an increase in the displacement parameter before increasing for the large displacement to saturate to the corresponding Fock state (equivalently displaced Fock state) value. Finally, dynamics of the Wigner function under the effect of photon loss channel is used to show that only highly efficient detectors are able to detect Wigner negativity.  相似文献

We propose the discretization of the density matrix as a nonlinear positive map for systems with continuous variables. We use this procedure for calculating the entanglement between two modes through different criteria, such as Tsallis entropy, von Neumann entropy and linear entropy, and the logarithmic negativity. As an example, we study the dynamics of entanglement for the two-mode squeezed-vacuum state in the parametric amplifier and show good agreement with the analytic results. Also we address the loss of information on the system state due to the discretization of the density matrix.  相似文献

We investigate the coherent feedback loop scheme to improve the quantum correlations transfer from optical to mechanical degrees of freedom in a double cavity optomechanical system. We use the Duan criterion to determine the separability of the two-mode mechanical states. The logarithmic negativity is employed to quantify the amount of the entanglement between mechanical modes in steady and dynamical regimes. We show that the entanglement can be significantly enhanced by a coherent feedback using a suitable tuning of the reflectivity parameter of the beam splitter located in each cavity. We also show that this enhancement is influenced by the temperature, the light squeezing parameter and the gain of the parameter amplifier. The entanglement dynamics in presence of the coherent feedback loop is also analyzed.  相似文献

A standard model is suggested to explore correlation features of two spatially separated optomechanical cavities. The cavities are coupled through the photon-hopping process. In particular, we investigate the generation of entanglement between mechanical resonators in the strong coupling regime and the two cavities are assumed to be driven by a coherent laser field. In order to quantify entanglement we use the logarithmic negativity. The analytical solutions are presented for the system in a parameter regime very close to the current experimental results. We show that in the presence of the photon hopping process between the cavities, the two mechanical resonators and the field modes can be entangled. This shows clearly that the entanglement can be transfer via radiation pressure of a photon hopping coupling from the intracavity photon-phonon entanglements to an inter-cavity photon-photon or phonon-phonon entanglement.  相似文献

为了获得较窄增益带宽、较大光强的太赫兹辐射,尝试了利用TEA CO2激光器对6 W可调谐连续波CO2种子激光实行双程光放大实验,以期望获得长脉冲、高峰值功率的抽运光.通过实验,获得了大约30倍的放大系数,放大光输出功率随种子光注入功率的增加而增加,其中10 P (20)支线表现更加突出,并且被放大的激光支线半峰全宽在14 μs左右.基于这种长脉冲抽运源,建立了一种产生脉冲太赫兹的动力学模型,给出了产生太赫兹辐射的饱和抽运光强表达式,确定了抽运光的光强范围.另外, 关键词: 激光物理 长脉冲 动力学模型 太赫兹激光  相似文献

The study of optomechanical systems has attracted much attention, most of which are concentrated in the physics in the smallamplitude regime. While in this article, we focus on optomechanics in the extremely-large-amplitude regime and consider both classical and quantum dynamics. Firstly, we study classical dynamics in a membrane-in-the-middle optomechanical system in which a partially reflecting and flexible membrane is suspended inside an optical cavity. We show that the membrane can present self-sustained oscillations with limit cycles in the shape of sawtooth-edged ellipses and exhibit dynamical multistability. Then, we study the dynamics of the quantum fluctuations around the classical orbits. By using the logarithmic negativity, we calculate the evolution of the quantum entanglement between the optical cavity mode and the membrane during the mechanical oscillation. We show that there is some synchronism between the classical dynamical process and the evolution of the quantum entanglement.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement and nonlocality properties of one- and two-mode combination squeezed vacuum state (OTCSS, with two-parameter λ and γ) by analyzing the logarithmic negativity and the Bell's inequality. It is found that this state exhibits larger entanglement than that of the usual two-mode squeezed vacuum state (TSVS), and that in a certain regime of λ, the violation of Bell's inequality becomes more obvious, which indicates that the nonlocality of OTCSS can be stronger than that of TSVS. As an application of OTCSS, the quantum teleportation is examined, which shows that there is a region spanned by λ and γin which the fidelity of OTCSS channel is larger than that of TSVS.  相似文献

A new approach is suggested to realize simultaneous negative permittivity and permeability in a three level closed system with incoherent pumping via spontaneously generated coherence (SGC). In this system the negativity of the real part of magnetic permeability can be achieved in the presence of SGC whereas in the absence of SGC it is positive. Thus the SGC makes the system a negative index medium (NIM) in a band of frequency range. The position and the band of the frequency region of negative refraction can be manipulated by controlling the incoherent pump rate. We achieve FOM?=?7.91165. We have studied the group index in the negative refractive index region and have shown that the group velocity switches from superluminal to subluminal mode in this region of negative refraction. We have shown that the negative refractive index can be realized in a heteronuclear molecule.  相似文献

We analyze the effect of the quantum noise of an amplifier on the entanglement properties of an input state. We consider both phase insensitive and phase sensitive amplification and specialize to Gaussian states for which entanglement measures are well developed. In the case of phase insensitive amplification in which both the modes are symmetrically amplified, we find that the entanglement in the output state vanishes if the intensity gain exceeds a limiting value 2/(1+exp[-EN]) where EN is the logarithmic negativity of the input state which quantifies the initial entanglement between the two modes. The entanglement between the two modes at the output is found to be more robust if only one mode is amplified.  相似文献
