Alkali metal, copper, nickel and rhodium complexes of alkylated [S2COC8H17] and fluoroalkylated xanthate ligands [S2COCmH2mCnF2n+1] (m = 2, n = 4, 6; m = 3, n = 1, 8) have been prepared in high yields and characterised by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR and NMR spectroscopies. The structures of [Cu(S2COC8H17)(PPh3)2], [Cu(S2COC3H6CF3)(PPh3)2], [Ni(S2COC3H6CF3)2], [Cp*RhCl(S2COC8H17)] and [Cp*RhCl(S2COC3H6CF3)] have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Phosphonic acids [(HO)2P(O)C2H4CnF2n+1] (n = 4, 6) and [(HO)2P(O)C6H4-4-CnF2n+1] (n = 0, 1, 6) have been prepared in good yields. Deprotonation and reaction with cis-[PtCl2(PPh3)2] affords fluorinated platinum complexes which have been characterised by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR and NMR spectroscopies. The structures of [Pt{O2P(O)C6H4-4-F}(PPh3)2], [Pt{O2P(O)C6H4-4-CF3}(PPh3)2] and [Pt{O2P(O)C2H4C6F13}(PPh3)2] have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A series of fluorinated β-diketones, RfC(O)CH2C(O)Rf (Rf=C6F13, Rf′=CF3; Rf=Rf′=C6F13, C7F15), have been prepared in reasonable yields by a two-step synthesis. On reaction with appropriate metal substrates, deprotonation and concurrent coordination of the perfluoroalkyl-derivatised β-diketonate ligands affords a range of fluorous metal complexes which have been characterised by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR and NMR spectroscopies. The structures of [Cu(L-L)2(H2O)2] {L-L=CF3C(O)CHC(O)C6F13, C6F13C(O)CHC(O)C6F13} and [Cu(PPh3)2{C7F15C(O)CHC(O)C7F15}] have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Palladium(II), platinum(II), rhodium(I), rhodium(III) and iridium(III) complexes of the tridecafluorohexyl-derivatised diphenylethylphosphinite (PPh2OC2H4Rf), phenyldiethylphosphonite {PPh(OC2H4Rf)2}, triethylphosphite {P(OC2H4Rf)3}, triphenylphosphinite (PPh2OC6H4-4-Rf), triphenylphosphonite {PPh(OC6H4-4-Rf)2}, ethyldiphenylphosphine (PPh2C2H4Rf), diethylphenylphosphine {PPh(C2H4Rf)2} and triethylphosphine {P(C2H4Rf)3} ligands are synthesized by conventional ligand displacement and/or halide-bridge cleaved reactions, and their spectroscopic parameters are compared with those for the related ligands lacking the tridecafluorohexyl ponytails.  相似文献

Abstract

Pyrazoles with unsymmetric substitution are useful ligands in coordination chemistry, but are under-developed due to synthetic challenges in accessing the pure isomers. We have prepared four new structurally related N-(2-pyridyl)-3,5-dialkylpyrazole ligands, L1L4, and probed their coordination chemistry in the crystalline phase and in solution to elucidate a relationship between steric influence of the alkyl substituents, the stability of the subsequent metal complexes, and their crystal packing influences. We find that L1 and L2, bearing linear or branched alkyl substituents, show similar stabilities and crystal packing motifs featuring π···π and C-H···Cl interactions in the crystalline complexes 1 and 2, respectively. The cyclohexyl-fused species L3 and L4 vary both in the solution stability of complexes 3 and 4, respectively, and in their crystal packing. Complex [ZnCl2(L3)] (3) is a mononuclear complex similar to 1 and 2, albeit with π···π interactions disallowed by the bulk of the cyclohexyl ring. Reaction of isomeric L4 with ZnCl2 gives two polymorphic complexes, and , of the form [Zn2Cl22-Cl)2(L4)2], varying only in their long-range packing modes. These results show the importance of understanding the steric influences in substituted pyridylpyrazoles, which determine both stability in solution and speciation in the crystalline phase.  相似文献

An interlocked M_4 L_8 coordination cage was synthesized by coordination-driven self-assembly of palladium(Ⅱ) ions with aromatic amide bidentate ligands.The reaction of the ligand and the metal at 2:1 ratio led to the monomeric M_2 L_4 cage as the kinetic product,while the thermodynamic product M_4 L_8 cage was obtained by prolongating the reaction.This conve rsion and the interlocked structure was clearly revealed by using ~1 H NMR,mass spectrometry and X-ray crystallography.The driving force of interlocking was mainly attributed to the interactions(hydrogen bonding,aromatic stacking and electrostatic interaction) arising from the aptitude of flexibility of the amide ligand.  相似文献

Reaction of 2,3-diaminopyridine with one equivalent of a functionalised vicinal diketone, in ethanol, yields a series of ligands based upon the pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine core. The ligands were characterised by 1H, 13C–{1H} NMR, MS and UV–Vis spectroscopy. Reaction of the ligands with one equivalent of {ReBr(CO)5} gave a series of Re-Ln complexes based upon the general formula fac-{ReBr(CO)3(L)} (where L = pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine-derived ligands, L1L6). Solution IR studies confirmed the retention of the facially capped, tri-carbonyl coordination geometry at rhenium, and 1H NMR studies confirmed coordination of the ligand to Re(I). EI HR MS data were obtained for each complex confirming the proposed formulation and stoichiometry. Single crystal X-ray structures were obtained for three of the complexes (Re-L1, Re-L2, Re-L6), with each demonstrating that the ligands coordinate to Re(I) in a bidentate manner, via a four-membered chelate ring, which was unsymmetrical in the former two cases. The electronic absorption spectra of the complexes showed absorption into the visible region ca. 375–500 nm, (the complexes are orange-red in appearance). Following irradiation at 350–450 nm, the complexes display a solid-state broad emission peaking between 600–700 nm. The complexes were not sufficiently luminescent in solution to allow further investigation into the origin of this emission band, although with reference to related 1,8-naphthyridine complexes of Re(I) it is likely to incorporate significant 3MLCT character.  相似文献

Because of their remarkable and unmatched optical and magnetic properties, the lanthanides are under the limelight when it comes to high technology. These elements are used in strategic applications such as optical glasses and lasers, telecommunications, lighting and displays, magnetic materials, hard-disk drives, security inks and counterfeiting tags, catalysis, biosciences, and medicine, to name but a few. Long considered as minor actors in transition metal chemistry, they have now gained respect from coordination chemists who insert them into sophisticated functional and polyfunctional molecules and materials. This mini review focuses on trivalent lanthanide ions and first summarizes their basic properties. Then some classical aspects of their coordination chemistry are discussed, followed by macrocyclic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, and self-assembly processes. The last part of this contribution deals with coordination polymers and hybrid materials including potential applications.  相似文献

The reaction of fluorocarbon (Rf) reagents C2F5Li or C2F3Li with diaminochlorophosphanes (R2N)2PCl produced four new phosphane ligands of the type (R2N)2P(Rf). Addition of (Et2N)2PCl to ethereal solutions of C2F5Li or C2F3Li produced (Et2N)2PC2F51 and (Et2N)2PC2F32; treatment of (C4H4N)2PCl and (C4H8N)2PCl with C2F5Li afforded (C4H4N)2PC2F53 and (C4H8N)2PC2F54. All ligands were isolated as colorless, high-boiling liquids. Substitution reactions of 1-4 with Mo(CO)6 in a refluxing alkane solvent yielded complexes of the type (L)Mo(CO)5 (L = (Et2N)2PC2F5, 5; (Et2N)2PC2F36; (C4H4N)2PC2F57 and (C4H8N)2PC2F58) as colorless solids in low to moderate (25-62%) yields. Complexes 5, 7 and 8 were structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. A comparison of IR stretching frequencies and X-ray bond length data suggests these ligands approximate the electronic influence of phosphites.  相似文献

This paper describes the synthesis of phosphonic acids (R-S-(CH2)2-PO(OH)2) containing a perfluoroalkylated chain (R = C6F13-(CH2)2, C8F17-(CH2)2) or an alkyl group (R = C12H25, C18H37). These compounds, obtained in excellent yield by telomerization of vinyl phosphonic acid in the presence of alkylated or perfluorinated mercaptans used as transfer agents, were characterized by 1H, 19F and 31P nuclear magnetic resonance. Thermal characterization by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) showed the presence of mesophases for compounds containing C8F17 and C18H37 end groups. A lamellar structure with a layered or bilayered organization was identified by small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). Adhesion of these compounds on aluminum surfaces is improved by the presence of phosphonic groups. Hydrophobic properties of coated aluminum surfaces are enhanced by fluorinated groups.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of a series of bis-bidentate ligands with cadmium(II) ions has been investigated. The ligands, containing two N,S-donor chelating (pyrazolyl/thioether) fragments, have afforded complexes of a variety of structural types (dinuclear M2L2 ‘mesocate’ complexes, a one-dimensional chain coordination polymer and a simple mononuclear complex) according to whether the bis-bidentate ligands act as bridges spanning two metal ions, or a tetradentate chelate to a single metal ion. The p-phenylene and m-biphenyl spaced ligands L1 and L3 form dinuclear M2L2 complexes where the ligands are arranged in a ‘side-by-side’ fashion. In contrast the m-phenylene spaced ligand L2 forms a one-dimensional coordination polymer where the ligands adopt a highly folded conformation. The 1,8-naphthalene spaced ligand L4 adopts a tetradendate chelating mode and affords a simple mononuclear complex.  相似文献

In the current study, the coordination chemistry of nine-coordinate Ac(III) complexes with 35 monodentate and bidentate ligands was investigated using density functional theory (DFT) in terms of their geometries, charges, reaction energies, and bonding interactions. The energy decomposition analysis with naturals orbitals for chemical valence (EDA-NOCV) and the quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) were employed as analysis methods. Trivalent Ac exhibits the highest affinities toward hard acids (such as charged oxophilic donors, fluoride), so its classification as a hard acid is justified. Natural population analysis quantified the involvement of 5f orbitals on Ac to be about 30% of total valence electron natural configuration indicating that Ac is a member of the actinide series. Pearson correlation coefficients were used to study the pairwise correlations among the bond lengths, ΔG reaction energies, charges on Ac and donor atoms, and data from EDA-NOCV and QTAIM. Strong correlations and anticorrelations were found between Voronoi charges on donor atoms with ΔG, EDA-NOCV interaction energies and QTAIM bond critical point densities.  相似文献

"Click" reactions between ethynylferrocene and mono-, bis-, and tris-azido aromatic derivatives yielded mono-, bis-, and tris-1,2,3-ferrocenyltriazoles (1, 2, and 3, respectively) as orange crystals. The X-ray crystal structure of the monoferrocenyltriazole compound 1 was solved with two nearly identical molecules within the asymmetric unit. In both molecules, the two Cp rings make a tilt angle of 2.1(3) degrees [0.7(3) degrees], and they are roughly eclipsed with a twist angle of 2.4(3) degrees [1.8(3) degrees]. Reaction of 1 with [PdCl2(PhCN)2] in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) yielded orange crystals of [PdCl2L2] (4; L=1), for which the X-ray crystal structure shows trans coordination to the nitrogen atom close to the ferrocene substitution. The Pd atom is located on an inversion center and displays a nearly perfect square planar environment. In DMSO-d6, 4 reversibly dissociates to regenerate 1, whose (1)H NMR spectrum is then observed. The 1H NMR study also shows that progressive addition of PdCl2 or [PdCl2(NCR)2] (R=Me or Ph) to DMSO-d6 solutions of 1 reversibly leads to the formation of 4 and the addition of excess PdII is necessary to lead to the complete disappearance of the signals of 1. The cyclic voltammograms of 1, 2, and 3 show the reversible oxidation wave of the ferrocenyl group, and that of 4 shows that this wave appears with increased intensity tentatively attributable to redox-catalyzed oxidation.  相似文献

The coordination properties of three heterofunctional phosphine oxide ligands, 2-methylpyridyldiphenylphosphine oxide (L1), phenylphosphino-bis-2-methylpyridine oxide (L2) and phenylphosphino-bis-2-methylpyridine N,N′,P-trioxide (L3) with Cu(II) is described. The X-ray crystal structures of the compounds display a distorted octahedral geometry, which exhibit Jahn–Teller distortions. In compounds 1 and 2, the L1 and L2 ligands react with Cu(BF4)2 in a 2:1 ligand to metal ratio, respectively, with the BF4 anions interacting with the metal center. L3 reacts with Cu(BF4)2 in 1:1 and 2:1 ligand/metal ratios to form compounds 3 and 4, respectively. Addition of either 2,2′-bipyridine or 4,4′-bipyridine to reaction solutions containing Cu(BF4)2 and L3 produces a discrete molecule (5) and a polymeric structure (7), respectively. The reaction of both bipyridines in the presence of Cu(BF4)2 and L3 gives rise to a discrete molecule (6) characterized by two octahedral coppers interconnected by the 4,4′-bipyridine. The electrochemical and photophysical properties of all compounds were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and UV–Vis, as they exhibited no emission or excitation in fluorimetric experiments.  相似文献

The synthesis and coordination of 2-diphenylphosphinopicolinamide (dpppa 1) is reported. Coordination complexes with Pd, Pt, Ru, Rh, Ir and Au are described. The ligand behaves as a monodentate P donor in complexes such as [PtCl2(dpppa-P2)], [PdCl(allyl)(dpppa-P)], [RuCl2(p-Cymene)(dpppa-P)], cis-[PtCl2(dpppa-P)(PR3)] and [AuCl(dpppa-P)]. Bidentate P, O coordination was accomplished by reaction of BuLi with [RuCl2(p-Cymene)(dpppa-P)], to give [RuCl(p-Cymene)(dpppa-P,O). P,N donor behaviour was achieved by reaction of a monodentate complex with a halide abstractor [AgBF4] generating [RuCl(p-Cymene)(dpppa-P,N)][ClO4] and[RhCl(η5-C5Me5)(dpppa-P,N)][BF4]. The X-ray structures of dpppa, dpppaO, dpppaS, four monodentate complexes and [RuCl(p-Cymene)(dpppa-P,O) are reported. All of the structures contain intramolecular N–HN hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

Three new Lanthanide 2-aminoterephthalate coordination polymers: [Pr2(C8H5NO4)3·(H2O)5]·2H2O 1, [Tb(C8H5NO4)1.5(H2O)2]·2H2O 2 and [Eu(C8H5NO4)1.5(H2O)2]·2H2O 3, were obtained by the hydrothermal synthesis. Crystal data: Complex 1. Triclinic, space group P-1, a=10.391(1), b=15.056(1), c=10.121(1) Å. α=101.363(4), β=101.115(3), γ=105.737(3)°, Complex 2. Triclinic, space group P-1, a=10.137(1), b=10.353(1), c=9.469(1) Å. α=95.443(3), β=110.649(4), γ=110.547(4)°. Complex 3. Triclinic, space group P-1, a=10.174(1), b=10.388(1), c=9.480(1) Å. α=95.443(6), β=110.732(3), γ=110.287(5)°. These carboxyl groups link Ln3+ via the chelating or bridging bond construct one-dimension channels in which pendant function groups can further connect with guest water molecules in channels through hydrogen bond.  相似文献

Four new coordination complexes with azole heterocycle ligands bearing acetic acid groups, [Co(L1)2]n (1), [CuL1N3]n (2), [Cu(L2)2·0.5C2H5OH·H2O]n (3) and [Co(L2)2]n (4) (here, HL1=1H-imidazole-1-yl-acetic acid, HL2=1H-benzimidazole-1-yl-acetic acid) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Single-crystal structure analysis shows that 3 and 4 are 2D complexes with 44-sql topologies, while another 2D complex 1 has a (43)2(46)-kgd topology. And 2 is a 3D complex composed dinuclear μ1,1-bridging azido CuII entities with distorted rutile topology. The magnetic properties of 1 and 2 have been studied.  相似文献

Poly-NHC (NHC = N-heterocyclic carbene) ligands emerged almost immediately after the first stable NHCs had been described. Macrocyclic ligands, featuring NHC donor groups and their metal complexes, however, remained rare until recently. This perspective highlights modern developments in the fields of synthesis and coordination chemistry of macrocyclic poly-NHC ligands. These include the synthesis of tetracarbene ligands which were obtained from complexes of β-functionalized isocyanides followed by cyclization of the coordinated iscocyanide ligands to NH,NH-functionalized NHCs and the subsequent metal template controlled bridging alkylation of the NH,NH-NHCs to yield the macrocycle. The template synthesis of ligands featuring a mixed NHC/phosphine donor set like [11]ane-P(2)C(NHC) and [16]ane-P(2)C(NHC)(2) by linkage of NH,NH-NHCs to different phosphines is also presented. Finally, methods for the preparation of cyclic polyazolium salts, their deprotonation and metalation and the different modes of coordination of such macrocyclic poly-NHC ligands are discussed.  相似文献

Complex formed by the reaction of neodymium nitrate with Schiff base has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectroscopy. The crystal structure and magnetic properties of the self-assembled complex, [Nd2(H2salen)3(NO3)6] n (H2salen =N,N′-ethylenebis(salicylideneimine)), are reported. The central Nd(III) ion is nine-coordinate with a typical tricapped trigonal prismatic coordination geometry with an infinite 2-D net structure, in which every Schiff-base ligand links two Nd(III) ions, and Nd(III) ions as nodes make up hexagons with 3 axes passing through the centers. The susceptibility data of the complex are well-fitted to the Curie–Weiss law and anti-ferromagnetic interactions take place between intermolecular adjacent paramagnetic ions.  相似文献
