In this paper, we analyze the behavior of a family of solutions of a nonlinear elliptic equation with nonlinear boundary conditions, when the boundary of the domain presents a highly oscillatory behavior, which is uniformly Lipschitz and nonlinear terms, are concentrated in a region, which neighbors the boundary of domain. We prove that this family of solutions converges to the solutions of a limit problem in H1an elliptic equation with nonlinear boundary conditions which captures the oscillatory behavior of the boundary and whose nonlinear terms are transformed into a flux condition on the boundary. Indeed, we show the upper semicontinuity of this family of solutions.Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper employs the weighted energy method to derive estimates for the dynamic behavior of solutions to boundary and initial boundary value problems with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions. In particular, the method is applied to the heat and Laplace equations in a bounded or unbounded region. Extensions to related equations are also studied. Similar estimates but for the spatial behavior is obtained for the heat equation and the backward in time heat equation. Results for blow-up in finite time of solutions to certain nonlinear equations are generalized to include nonhomogeneous boundary conditions, while solutions that vanish on part of the boundary are briefly discussed in the final section.  相似文献

A class of second-order abstract systems with memory and Dirichlet boundary conditions is investigated. By suitable Liapunov functionals, existence of solutions as well as asymptotic behavior, are determined. A class of nonlinear nonlocal singularly perturbed Robin initial boundary value problems for reaction diffusion equations with boundary perturbation is considered. Under suitable conditions, firstly, the outer solution of the original problem is obtained; secondly, by using the stretched variable, the composing expansion method and the expanding theory of power series, the initial layer is constructed; and finally, by using the theory of differential inequalities the asymptotic behavior of solutions for initial boundary value problems is studied, and including some relational inequalities the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the original problem and the uniformly valid asymptotic estimation are discussed.  相似文献

In this work, we are interested in the dynamic behavior of a parabolic problem with nonlinear boundary conditions and delay in the boundary. We construct a reaction–diffusion problem with delay in the interior, where the reaction term is concentrated in a neighborhood of the boundary and this neighborhood shrinks to boundary, as a parameter ? goes to zero. We analyze the limit of the solutions of this concentrated problem and prove that these solutions converge in certain continuous function spaces to the unique solution of the parabolic problem with delay in the boundary. This convergence result allows us to approximate the solution of equations with delay acting on the boundary by solutions of equations with delay acting in the interior and it may contribute to analyze the dynamic behavior of delay equations when the delay is at the boundary.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to a general similarity boundary layer equation for power-law fluids, which includes many important similarity boundary layer problems such as the Falker-Skan equation and the magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer equation which arises in the study of self-similar solutions of the two-dimensional steady laminar boundary layer flow for an incompressible electrically conducting power-law fluids along an isolated surface in the presence of an exterior magnetic field orthogonal to the flow. By a rigorous mathematical analysis, the uniqueness, existence and nonexistence results for convex solutions, normal convex solutions and generalized convex solutions to the general similarity boundary layer equation are established. Also the asymptotic behavior of the normal convex solutions at the infinity are displayed.  相似文献

A method is proposed for the regularization of the calculation process in investigations of homogeneous solutions of three-dimensional problems of elasticity theory by the method of homogeneous solutions. This paper concerns the separable solutions of a generalized Burgers equation. Existence of separable solutions to the generalized Burgers equation is proved under certain conditions. The asymptotic behavior of solutions to boundary value problems for the Poisson equation is studied in a thick two-level junction of type 3:2:2 with alternating boundary conditions. The thick junction consists of a cylinder with ε-periodically stringed thin disks of variable thickness. The disks are divided into two classes depending on their geometric structure and boundary conditions. We consider problems with alternating Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions and also problems with different alternating Fourier (Neumann) conditions. We study the influence of the boundary conditions on the asymptotic behavior of solutions as ε → 0. Convergence theorems, in particular, convergence of energy integrals, are proved.
