Synthesis and some properties ofN-polynitromethyl derivatives of fused benzotriazoles

Synthesis and antistatic properties of some surface-active perimidine derivatives

Perimidine derivatives containing as substituents high-molecular-weight alkyl, acyl, and perfluoroalkyl groups in positions 1, 2, 4(9) and 6(7) have been synthesized. The sulfonation of perimidines has been performed for the first time using 2-perfluoroalkyl- and 2- undecylperimidines as examples; it takes place exceptionally readily in this series. Synthesis and PMR spectra of vinyl derivatives of 2-hydroxylepidine

The reaction of 2-hydroxylepidine with acetylene under pressure in various catalytic systems was investigated. 2-(Vinyloxy)lepidine and N-vinyl-2-lepidone were obtained, and their IR and PMR spectra were studied.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 6, pp. 798–800, June, 1971.The PMR spectra were recorded at room temperature with a JNM-4H-100 spectrometer. The solvent was CCl₄, and the Internal standard was hexamethyldisiloxane ( scale).     

Synthesis,identification and properties of some β-aminoalanine derivatives

A number of new β-(N-alkylamino) alanines have been synthesized from acetyldehydroalanine. Using keratin as a cystine-containing protein, it has been shown that, on treatment with a series of amines, β-(N alkylamino) alanine residues are formed in varying amounts in the protein, depending on the structure of amines applied.

Approaches to the synthesis of complexones, succinic acid derivatives, from maleic acid and amino derivatives were considered. Acid-base properties of these complexones were studied.     

Synthesis and antioxidant properties of some new thiazolyl coumarin derivatives

ABSTRACT

A three-component one-pot synthesis of new thiazolyl coumarin derivatives was carried out by condensing 3-acetyl-4-hydroxycoumarin, arylaldehydes, thiourea and ammonium acetate at reflux in DMC. The optimization details of the developed novel protocol are recorded. In addition, we have also synthesized these compounds via another second route in two steps. High atom-economy, excellent yields, simple procedure, and mild reaction conditions are the important features of this one-pot protocol. The chemical structures of the newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by using analytical (IR, ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR). Further, all the compounds were screened for their antioxidant activities.     

Synthesis and some properties of binuclear ruthenocene derivatives bridged by both ethene and thiophene derivatives

Binuclear ruthenocenes bridged by ethenes and thiophene derivatives, Rc-CHCH-Z-Rc and Rc^∗-CHCH-Z-CHCH-Rc^∗ (Z = thiophene, thieno[3,2-b]thiophene, and 2,2′-bithiophene; Rc = ruthenocenyl, R^∗ = 1′,2′,3′,4′,5′-pentamethylruthenocenyl) were prepared. These complexes showed a one-step two-electron redox wave in the cyclic voltammograms, in contrast to the benzenoid-bridged dinuclear ruthenocenes. The chemical oxidation of the Rc-CHCH-Z-Rc complexes gave no stable oxidized species. The two-electron oxidized species of the Rc^∗-CHCH-Z-CHCH-Rc^∗ complexes were comparably stable and contained a fulvene-complex type structure.     

A two-step practical synthesis of dehydroalanine derivatives

A two-step practical synthesis of dehydroalanine derivatives from commercially available starting materials is reported. The approach comprises an Ugi four-component reaction using 2-benzoylacetaldehyde, followed by an elimination process of the benzoate group. This protocol provided access to several dehydroalanine derivatives modified with diverse functional groups, which might be useful for further transformations in the construction of more complex molecules.     

Synthesis and properties of some pyrimido[5,4-d]pyrimidine derivatives

A method for the preparation of 2,4,8-trioxo-6-methyl derivatives of pyrimido[5,4-d]pyrimidine with various alkyl residues in the 7 position is described. It is shown that the chlorine in the 4 position of the 2,4-dichloro derivative of pyrimido[5,4-d]pyrimidine is the most labile in nucleophilic substitution reactions.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 4, pp. 517–520, April, 1977.     

Synthesis and mesomorphic properties of some cyclohex-2-en-1-one derivatives

Mesomorphic properties of cyclohex-2-en-1-ones belonging to 14 different chemical structural types are compared and discussed. They were prepared by condensation of Mannich salts with 2-substituted acetoacetates or benzyl methyl ketones or acetylacetone in the presence of potassium hydroxide.     

Synthesis of some phenanthridone derivatives

The alkylation of phenanthridone and some nuclear-substituted phenanthridones using sodium hydride in DMF/benzene is reported. Various 5-cyanoalkylphenanthridones were converted to further derivatives by either hydrolysis or reduction.     

Synthesis of some thiophene derivatives

The synthesis of thiopene derivatives from diacetylenic hydrocarbons has been described [1]. We have examined for the first time the reaction of diacetylenic diesters with hydrogen sulfide and with NaHS.
