Copper-based catalysts were firstly introduced into the cyanation of benzyl chlorides with non-toxic K4[Fe(CN)6]. The presented method avoids the use of extremely poisonous alkali cyanides and precious palladium catalysts. No other reagent apart from CuI, K4[Fe(CN)6] and toluene was used in the cyanation, showing that the presented protocol is simple and practical. A series of benzyl chlorides were smoothly cyanated in up to 85% yield under the optimal conditions.  相似文献

A practical Pd(PPh(3))(4)/DBU catalytic system for the synthesis of pharmaceutically relevant aminopyridine nitrile intermediates, as well as a variety of other aryl nitriles using non-toxic K(4)[Fe(CN)(6)] has been developed. The key features of our new protocol for cyanation lie in that the reaction can be carried out with readily available Pd(PPh(3))(4) under mild and green conditions, even without the assistance of other ligands.  相似文献

We report an efficient method for the preparation of aryl nitriles from aryl chlorides under either microwave assisted or thermal conditions. A catalyst system comprising tris(dibenzylidene acetone)dipalladium (Pd2(dba)3) and 2-(2′,6′-dimethoxybiphenyl)dicyclohexylphosphine (S-Phos) is shown to effectively promote cyanation of various aryl chlorides with Zn(CN)2 as the cyanide source.  相似文献

A method for facile synthesis of aryl nitriles has been well established via Ag/Cu-mediated decarboxylative cyanation of benzoic acids with K4Fe(CN)6 under aerobic conditions. The approach of using readily accessible aryl carboxylic acids and green K4Fe(CN)6 as starting material provides a feasible alternative to previous cyanation protocols. Control experiments revealed the key role of Cu for the process and excluded the possibility of a radical mechanism for the transformation.  相似文献

The development of a novel Pd-catalyzed synthesis of (hetero)aromatic nitriles from the corresponding aryl chlorides and potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) is described. This novel protocol avoids the use of highly toxic alkali cyanides and proceeds in the presence of small amounts of palladium catalysts. High yields and selectivities of the corresponding aryl nitriles were achieved applying di(1-adamantyl)-1-butylphosphine (cataCXium® A) as the ligand.  相似文献

The development of new palladium catalysts for the cyanation of various aryl and heteroaryl chlorides is described. The combination of amine co-catalysts with chelating phosphine ligands, for example, 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb) or 1,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane (dpppe), allows an efficient cyanation of chloroarenes with simple potassium cyanide. General palladium-catalyzed cyanation of nonactivated and deactivated chloroarenes is possible for the first time. Studies of the oxidative addition of aryl halides to palladium triphenylphosphine complexes in the presence and absence of amines suggest that the co-catalyst is capable of preventing catalyst deactivation caused by the presence of excess cyanide ions in solution.  相似文献

A simple method to prepare57Fe enriched K4[Fe(CN)6] and K3[Fe(CN)6] is described. The yields of the products are much better than those reported in the literature so far. The enrichment is essential for57Fe Mössbauer investigation in a variety of Prussiate type complexes and other inorganic compounds which are conveniently prepared from K4[Fe(CN)6] and K3[Fe(CN)6]. K4[Fe(CN)6] was obtained by reacting freshly prepared Fe(OH)3 with glacial acetic acid and treating with iron acetate in boiling aqueous solution of KCN. The novel feature of the procedure to obtain K3[Fe(CN)6] is that the oxidation of K4[Fe(CN)6] has been carried out in the solid state by passing chlorine gas over the powdered specimen. K3[Fe(CN)6] was crystallised from alkaline solution of this oxidised powder. The compounds were characterised by Mössbauer spectroscopy.  相似文献

Non-toxic K4[Fe(CN)6] was demonstrated to be effective as a green cyanating agent for the cyanation of alkyl halides using PPh3/Pd(OAc)2 as a catalyst system. The presented method allowed a series of benzyl chlorides to be smoothly cyanated in up to 88% yield. In order to avoid or suppress the deactivation of the catalyst, the reaction was required to be performed in a stringent inert ambiance.  相似文献

Distinct spectral features at the Fe L-edge of the two compounds K3[Fe(CN)6] and K4[Fe(CN)6] have been identified and characterized as arising from contributions of the ligand pi orbitals due to metal-to-ligand back-bonding. In addition, the L-edge energy shifts and total intensities allow changes in the ligand field and effective nuclear charge to be determined. It is found that the ligand field term dominates the edge energy shift. The results of the experimental analysis were compared to BP86 DFT calculations. The overall agreement between the calculations and experiment is good; however, a larger difference in the amount of pi back-donation between Fe(II) and Fe(III) is found experimentally. The analysis of L-edge spectral shape, energy shift, and total intensity demonstrates that Fe L-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy provides a direct probe of metal-to-ligand back-bonding.  相似文献

An efficient cyanation of styrenyl bromides by K(4)[Fe(CN)(6)] has been achieved under the catalysis of hydroxyapatite-supported copper(I) producing a variety of functionalized cinnamonitriles in high yields. [reaction: see text] New methods for the palladium-catalyzed cyanation of aryl and heteroaryl chlorides have been developed, featuring sterically demanding, electron-rich phosphines. Highly challenging electron-rich aryl chlorides, in addition to electron-neutral and electron-deficient substrates, as well as nitrogen- and sulfur-containing heteroaryl chlorides can all undergo efficient cyanation under relatively mild conditions using readily available materials. In terms of substrate scope and temperature, these methods compare very favorably with the state-of-the-art cyanations of aryl chlorides.  相似文献

Copper-catalyzed cyanation of aryl halides was improved to be more economical and environmentally friendly by using water as the solvent and ligand-free Cu(OAc)2·H2O as the catalyst under microwave heating. The activity of palladacycle [Pd{C6H4(CH2N(CH2Ph)2)} (μ-Br)]2 complex was investigated in the synthesis of benzonitriles under both conventional and microwave irradiation conditions and their results were compared together. This complex is an efficient, stable, and non-sensitive to air and moisture catalyst for the cyanation reaction. The substituted benzonitriles were produced of various aryl halides in excellent yields and short reaction times using a catalytic amount of [Pd{C6H4(CH2N(CH2Ph)2)} (μ-Br)]2 complex and K4[Fe(CN)6] in DMF at 130 °C. In comparison to conventional heating conditions, the reactions under microwave irradiation gave higher yields in shorter reaction times.  相似文献

铜催化芳溴氰化反应通常在惰性气体保护下进行, 而且配体和碱的使用也是必要的. 本文发现无配体的Cu(OAc)_2·H_2O能够有效地催化芳溴的氰化;并且反应无需使用碱, 无需惰性气体保护;为芳腈的合成提供一种经济有效的方法. 此方法可应用到多种芳溴的腈化, 在16种芳溴底物反应的例子中, 得到了56%-94%的产率.  相似文献

An efficient method for preparation of aryl nitriles—using [Pd{C6H2(CH2CH2 NH2)‐(OMe)2,3,4} (µ‐Br)]2 complex as an efficient catalyst and K4[Fe(CN)6] as a green cyanide source—from aryl bromides, aryl iodides and aryl chlorides under microwave irradiation has been reported. This complex has been demonstrated to be an active and efficient catalyst for this reaction. Using a catalytic amount of this synthesized palladium complex in DMF at 130 °C led to production of the cyanoarenes in excellent yields in short reaction times.
