关于斜McCoy环

For a ring endomorphism α,we introduce α-skew McCoy rings which are generalizations of α-rigid rings and McCoy rings,and investigate their properties.We show that if α t = I R for some positive integer t and R is an α-skew McCoy ring,then the skew polynomial ring R[x;α] is α-skew McCoy.We also prove that if α（1） = 1 and R is α-rigid,then R[x;α]/ x 2 is αˉ-skew McCoy.     

McCoy环的Ore扩张(英文)

本文研究了斜多项式环与微分多项式环的McCoy性质,证明了如果环R是α-compatible和可逆的,那么斜多项式R[x;α]是McCoy环当且仅当环R是McCoy环;同时我们也证明了如果环R是δ-compatible与可逆的,那么微分多项式环R[x;δ]是McCoy环当且仅当环R是McCoy环.因此本文对McCoy环的相关结论进行了推广.     

McCoy环的扩张(英文)

A ring R is said to be right McCoy if the equation f(x)g(x)=0,where f(x)and g(x)are nonzero polynomials of R[x],implies that there exists nonzero s∈R such that f(x)s=0.It is proven that no proper(triangular)matrix ring is one-sided McCoy.It is shown that for many polynomial extensions,a ring R is right McCoy if and only if the polynomial extension over R is right McCoy.     

The McCoy Condition on Skew Polynomial Rings

Based on a theorem of McCoy on commutative rings, Nielsen called a ring R right McCoy if, for any nonzero polynomials f(x), g(x) over R, f(x)g(x) = 0 implies f(x)r = 0 for some 0 ≠ r ? R. In this note, we consider a skew version of these rings, called σ-skew McCoy rings, with respect to a ring endomorphism σ. When σ is the identity endomorphism, this coincides with the notion of a right McCoy ring. Basic properties of σ-skew McCoy rings are observed, and some of the known results on right McCoy rings are obtained as corollaries.

Non-Transitive Generalizations of Subdirect Products of Linearly Ordered Rings

Weakly associative lattice rings (wal-rings) are non-transitive generalizations of lattice ordered rings (l-rings). As is known, the class of l-rings which are subdirect products of linearly ordered rings (i.e. the class of f-rings) plays an important role in the theory of l-rings. In the paper, the classes of wal-rings representable as subdirect products of to-rings and ao-rings (both being non-transitive generalizations of the class of f-rings) are characterized and the class of wal-rings having lattice ordered positive cones is described. Moreover, lexicographic products of weakly associative lattice groups are also studied here.     

McCoy Rings Relative to a Monoid

For a monoid M, we introduce M-McCoy rings, which are a generalization of McCoy rings and M-Armendariz rings; and investigate their properties. We first show that all reversible rings are right M-McCoy, where M is a u.p.-monoid. We also show that all right duo rings are right M-McCoy, where M is a strictly totally ordered monoid. Then we show that semicommutative rings and 2-primal rings do have a property close to the M-McCoy condition. Moreover, it is shown that a finitely generated Abelian group G is torsion free if and only if there exists a ring R such that R is G-McCoy. Consequently, several known results on right McCoy rings are extended to a general setting.     

The McCoy Condition on Ore Extensions

Nielsen [29 Nielsen , P. P. ( 2006 ). Semi-commutativity and the McCoy condition . J. Algebra 298 : 134 – 141 .[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]] proved that all reversible rings are McCoy and gave an example of a semicommutative ring that is not right McCoy. When R is a reversible ring with an (α, δ)-condition, namely (α, δ)-compatibility, we observe that R satisfies a McCoy-type property, in the context of Ore extension R[x; α, δ], and provide rich classes of reversible (semicommutative) (α, δ)-compatible rings. It is also shown that semicommutative α-compatible rings are linearly α-skew McCoy and that linearly α-skew McCoy rings are Dedekind finite. Moreover, several extensions of skew McCoy rings and the zip property of these rings are studied.

On Rings Having McCoy-Like Conditions

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we study the behavior of the couniform (or dual Goldie) dimension of a module under various polynomial extensions. For a ring automorphism σ ∈ Aut(R), we use the notion of a σ-compatible module M _R to obtain results on the couniform dimension of the polynomial modules M[x], M[x ^?1], and M[x, x ^?1] over suitable skew extension rings.     

Zero Divisors in Skew Power Series Rings

We study the rigid property of rings in the concrete, via power series rings, matrix rings, and Insertion-of-Factors-Property. In the procedure, we concentrate our attention on the skew power-serieswise Armendariz property. We next apply the McCoy condition to skew power series rings, which induces a generalization of skew power-serieswise Armendariz. The relationship is investigated among the properties above and related ring properties, and several known results are obtained as consequences of our results.

Feebly Baer Rings and Modules

A right module M over a ring R is called feebly Baer if, whenever xa = 0 with x ∈ M and a ∈ R, there exists e² = e ∈ R such that xe = 0 and ea = a. The ring R is called feebly Baer if R_R is a feebly Baer module. These notions are motivated by the commutative analog discussed in a recent paper by Knox, Levy, McGovern, and Shapiro [6 Knox , M. L. , Levy , R. , McGovern , W. Wm. , Shapiro , J. ( 2009 ) Generalizations of complemented rings with applications to rings of functions. . J. Alg. Bezout Rings,Polynomials, and Distributivity

Let A be a ring, be an injective endomorphism of A, and let be the right skew polynomial ring.
