One and two neutron transfer has been measured in the heaviest asymmetric nuclear system with semi magic nuclei showing superfluid properties, in 206Pb+118Sn collisions at an energy well below the Coulomb barrier with scattering orbits covering the largest angles. Particle-γ coincidence techniques using 5 Euroball-Cluster detectors (EB) combined in a set-up with the Heidelberg-Darmstadt NaI-Crystal Ball (CB) have been used. Transfer channels are identified with EB via their known γ-decays of the lowest excited states. Using the unique feature of the set-up with the CB, transfer to well defined final states with known quantum numbers (without feeding) are selected using the high efficiency multiplicity filter of the CB (no second γ-ray). The data are analysed using the semiclassical approach and transfer probabilities are obtained. The enhancement for the two-neutron transfer populating the low lying superfluid 2+ state in 120Sn (and 116Sn), while the Pb-branch is in the groundstate is deduced by comparison with the strongest single neutron transfer transition. Large enhancements (EF ≃ 103) are observed. This is the first direct measurement of enhancement for a heavy nuclear binary system with experimentally separated levels suggesting a strong contribution from superfluid pair transfer. Transfer reactions 56Fe(12C, xN) have been investigated. Angular distributions of particles following elastic scattering, one neutron and one proton transfer reaction channels leading to low lying states in respective residual nuclei have been measured. These are analysed using the coupled reaction channel (CRC) formalism. Starting with a double folded real potential, the elastic scattering angular distribution is calculated using the computer code FRESCO. Inclusion of couplings to first excited states in both the target and the projectile already tends to describe the experimental elastic scattering distribution. Additional coupling of one neutron transfer reaction to first five excited states in 55Fe and one proton transfer reaction to first three low lying states in 57Co improves fit to the elastic scattering angular distribution. Further refinement in fit is brought about by addition of a weak imaginary potential to the complex potential calculated by ERESCO to simulate the absorption effects due to those channels whose coupling is not included explicitly. Such a potential describes the experimental angular distributions for elastic, one neutron and one proton transfer channels correctly in shape and magnitude without any arbitrary normalisation.  相似文献

Using the framework of the coupled reaction channels (CRC) the one- and two-neutron transfer process initiated by the weakly bound nucleus 6He on 12C at an energy of E L = 5.9 MeV is studied. The absolute cross-sections for a few states in 14C are well reproduced within a factor 2 in second order, using microscopic wave functions of 6He and 12C. Only a small dependence of the cross-section on details of the 6He wave function is observed. Good fits to the data are obtained in a calculation with full coupling (25 iterations) with renormalised optical potential parameters and spectroscopic amplitudes of 6He. Multi-nucleon transfer reactions56Fe(12C, X) have been studied at an incident12C energy of 60 MeV. Angular distributions of10Be and9Be corresponding to 2p and 2p 1n transfer reactions in transition to low-lying states in the residual nuclei have been measured. The angular distribution data for 2p transfer have been analysed in terms of finite range DWBA calculations assuming a one-step transfer of two protons. The spectroscopic factors for three low-lying transitions observed in56Fe(12C,10Be)58Ni have been extracted. Transfer probabilities for the ground state transition in two- and three-nucleon stripping channels have been obtained and compared with the corresponding sequential transfer probabilities in order to emphasise the role of direct transfer of nucleons vis-a-vis sequential transfer.  相似文献

Isomeric cross-section ratios of evaporation residues formed in12C+93Nb and16O+89Y reactions were measured by recoil catcher technique followed by off-line γ-ray spectrometry in the beam energy range of 55.7–77.5 MeV for12C and 68–81 MeV for16O. The isomeric cross-section ratios were resolved into that for complete and incomplete fusion reactions. The angular momentum of the intermediate nucleus formed in incomplete fusion was deduced from the isomeric cross-section ratio by considering the statistical deexcitation of the incompletely fused composite nucleus. The data show that incomplete fusion is associated with angular momenta slightly smaller than critical angular momentum for complete fusion, indicating the deeper interpenetration of projectile and target nuclei than that in peripheral collisions.  相似文献

Evaluation by empirically derived equations for the Substituent effect (α, β, γ, δ) on the 13C NMR chemical shifts for C-3, C-4. C-5 and halomethyl-substituent carbon (C-6) in isoxazoles 1-5 [where C-3 substituent (R1) = H, alkyl or phenyl, C-4 Substituent (R2) = H, alkyl, and C-5 substituent (R3) = di-or trihalomethyl, methyl and H], taking as reference the compound la, is reported. From the calculated values for the α, β, γ, δ effects for each substituent it was possible to estimate the chemical shift of each carbon of the compounds 1–5. The 13 C chemical shifts of the C-3, C-4, C-5, C-6 of these compounds, can be estimated with good precision: 94% of the calculated chemical shifts are found to be within ±1.0ppm, and 100% are found to be within ±1.5ppm.  相似文献

Residual dipolar coupling between carbons and 14N nuclei in the 13C CPMAS NMR spectrum of solid imidazole is studied. Calculations of expected splittings with a previously reported equation leads to the complete assignment of the solid state carbon chemical shifts. Additionally, information is provided on the location of 14N electric field gradient axes at the N-H site.  相似文献

In this study, we performed three breath tests – l-[1-13C ]phenylalanine breath test (PBT), l-[1-13C ] methionine breath test, and [13C]methacetin breath test (MethaBT) – in patients with chronic liver disease to determine the optimal timing of expired air collection for diagnosing chronic liver disease and evaluating the grade of fibrosis. The subjects were 61 adults with normal livers, 98 chronic hepatitis patients, and 91 liver cirrhosis patients. We investigated the relationships of breath test results with routine biochemical tests and the Child–Pugh score, as well as the diagnostic capacities of the breath tests for liver dysfunction/cirrhosis and grade of liver fibrosis. For the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis and correlations with liver fibrosis, the accuracy of the PBT at 30 min (PBT30) was similar to that of the MethaBT at 15 min (Metha15). For liver function assessment by two-point measurement with 13C breath tests, we recommend the PBT30 and the Metha15.  相似文献

The variation of fusion cross-section (σJfus) with energy in the12C+12C collision is linked to the underlying resonance phenomenon through the behavior of reaction cross-section (σ) of which σfus is taken as a part. The calculation of σfus is done through an energy-dependent imaginary potential in the optical model potential (OMP). Through dispersion relation, such an imaginary potential gives rise to energy-dependent real potential which is incorporated in the OMP. In our calculation, a form of potential for the nuclear part which has a soft repulsive in-built core is introduced based on similar works done earlier. The calculated results of σfus are used to explain the oscillatory structure, astrophysical S-factor and the decreasing trend at higher energies of the experimental σfus data in the case of12C+12C system with remarkable success. The potential used for fusion calculation is tested for fitting elastic scattering data at some energies and is found good in forward angles. Further improvement of the fitting of these data is obtained by incorporating a coupling potential in the surface region. About twenty resonances are observed in our calculation in the specific partial waves and some of them are found close to the experimentally identified resonances in12C+12C reaction. Thus, we provide an integrated and comprehensive analysis of fusion, resonance and scattering data in the best studied case of12C+12C reaction within the framework of optical potential model.  相似文献

A few bands of the C1IIg -A1IIu system of 12C13C molecule have been photographed and five of them have been rotationally analyzed. Molecular constants for v = 0, 1 and 2 in the C1 IIg and in A1IIu states have been obtained using a nonlinear least-squares procedure in which all analyzed bands were fitted simultaneosly.  相似文献

Abstract

Carbon and nitrogen stable isotope compositions of organic matter, TOC/TN ratio, and manganese concentration in a sediment core that was collected in northern part of Lake Baikal (VER92ST10-GC2, water depth at 922 m, about 3 m long) were investigated to elucidate the origin of the sedimentary organic matter and its associated environmental factors.

The sediment core was composed of mainly two parts: turbidite sections and other sections. Constant δ13C and δ15N values of the turbidite sections were observed (- 26.8 ±0.2 ‰ for δ13C and 3.2 ± 0.1 ‰ for δ15N) throughout the core. The higher δ13C in turbidite sections (about - 27 ‰) than that of the other sections (- 31 to - 29 ‰) was clearly observed, and δ15N was different between turbidite sections (about 3‰) and other sections (3 to 5 ‰). δ13C of other sections was close to that of pelagic phytoplankton, indicating that sediment other than turbidite sections is composed of autochthonous components. The variation of stable isotopes in other sections may be possibly caused by the changes in either phytoplankton growth rate or contribution ratios of terrestrial to aquatic plants for δ13C. Either denitrification or fluctuation of δ15N in pelagic phytoplankton can be the cause of variable δ15N in other sections.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the hepatic microsomal and mitochondrial functions by using the 13CO2-breath test in healthy subjects either before or after the consumption of red wine. Fourteen adults received [13C]methacetin and [methyl-13C]methionine together with a standardised dinner. Expired air samples were taken over 6 h. After a wash-out period, the subjects consumed 0.4 ml ethanol/kg/day together with dinner over a 10-day period. Thereafter, 13C-tracer administration was repeated under identical conditions. The 13CO2-enrichments were measured by isotope ratio mass spectrometry. The mean cumulative percentage 13C-dose recovery (CPDR) after administration of [13C]methacetin and [methyl-13C]methionine either without or with red wine consumption amounted to 38.2±6.3 vs. 36.3±6.7% (p=0.363) and 9.5±3.3 vs. 8.8±2.5% (p=0.47), respectively. Moderate alcohol consumption does not induce significant short-term changes of the microsomal and the mitochondrial functions of the human liver in healthy subjects.  相似文献

Abstract

The metabolism of tumor-cells differs in many ways from normal (healthy) cells. One of the major differences is the high glycolytic activity in tumor-cells with the subsequent formation of lactate from glucose, even in the presence of oxygen. The question whether this high rate of glycolysis has any effect on the 13C/12C-relation of the cells is examined in experiments with a tumor-cell line (HT29) and in specimens of human breast cancer.

The HT29 cells show a clear decrease in 13C content compared to their culture medium (Δδ = 3.28‰).

Tissue from human breast cancer has more 13C than normal breast tissue taken from the same patient ((Δδ = 2.74‰). But the content of fat is much higher in the normal tissue and its δ-value is negatively correlated with its fat content. It is concluded that the difference between normal and tumor tissue is due to the heterogeneous composition of the normal tissue samples.  相似文献

One of the major product from the photodimerization of 2-[2-(2-methyl-phenyl)ethenyl)]naphtho[2. 1-b]furan (1) is a new fused cyclobutane-naphthofuran derivative, 6-(2-methylphenyl)-1-[2-(2-methylphenyl)ethenyl]-7-(2-naphtho-[2,1-b]furyl)-3-[2,1]naphtho-2-oxabicyclo[3.2.0]hept-3-ene (2). Its 1H and 13C NMR spectra were fully assigned by the application of COSY, LR COSY, NOESY, APT and HETCOR experiments in deuterated chloroform, acetone and benzene solutions.  相似文献

Simple shell-model calculations and single-particle widths suggest that the apparent width for the lowest-energy resonance in 17C, observed in 17C(p,p) and 14C(12C, 9C), must be the result of two or three unresolved narrow states, and not the natural width of either. New 99Tc and Re-complexes in colloidal state were prepared by the direct reduction of TcO4- and ReO4- with NaBH4 in presence of a new synthezied ligand: 2,2‘(ethan diylidene dinitrilo) diphenol. Total assignment of 13C and 1H NMR spectra of the 5-isopropylsulfonyl-2-norbornenes 2 was achieved using the concerted application of two-dimensional homonuclear and heteronuclear chemical shift correlations.
