Some results concerning growth of polynomials

In this paper, we establish inequalities for polynomials with restricted zeros, which in particular yields interesting generalizations of some Zygmund type inequalities for polynomial.     

Some results on non-semireflexive spaces

In this paper we prove a result similar to a generalization due to M. Valdivia (4) of a theorem of V.L. Klee (1), in the context of real locally convex spaces which possess a metrizable locally convex topology coarser than the Mackey topology. In particular, we obtain some criteria of reflexivity for metrizable locally convex spaces. A particular case works for complex spaces.We thank Prof. Valdivia for his help and constant orientation This work follows from his suggestions.     

Some open problems concerning q-convexity and Stein spaces

We discuss some open problems in the theory of analytic pseudoconvexity. We focus our attention especially on q-complete spaces and Stein spaces.     

Some results concerning proximinality and co-proximinality

As a counterpart to best approximation, the best co-approximation in normed linear spaces was introduced by Franchetti and Furi. In this paper, this new concept is employed to improve various characterizations of the proximinal and Chebychev for the special subspace of Banach space.     

Summability results for operator matrices on topological vector spaces

Basic summability results are established for matrices of linear and some nonlinear mappings between topological vector spaces.     

Some inequalities concerning the James constant in Banach spaces

Let A₂(X) be the constant introduced by Baronti, Casini and Papini. This paper discusses the constant A₂(X) and states an estimate in terms of the James constant. The estimate enables us to improve an inequality between the James and von Neumann-Jordan constants.     

Some results on monotone metric spaces

We present some new results on monotone metric spaces. We prove that every bounded 1-monotone metric space in R^d${\mathbb{R}}^d$ has a finite 1-dimensional Hausdorff measure. As a consequence we obtain that each continuous bounded curve in R^d${\mathbb{R}}^d$ has a finite length if and only if it can be written as a finite sum of 1-monotone continuous bounded curves. Next we construct a continuous function f such that M   has a zero Lebesgue measure provided the graph(f|M)$\mathrm{graph}(f|M)$ is a monotone set in the plane. We finally construct a differentiable function with a monotone graph and unbounded variation.

Some results on fuzzy Banach spaces

The main aim of this paper is to consider the fuzzy norm, difine the fuzzy Banach spaces, its quotients and prove some theoremes and in particular Open mapping and Closed graph theoremes on these spaces.     

Some approximation results for function spaces

Let X be a compact Hausdorff space and let A be a closed linear subspace of C_C(X) containing constants and separating points of X. If D is a self-adjoint subalgebra of C_C(X) then we characterize the uniform closure of the polynomials in D with coefficients in A in terms of the restriction of A to the sets of constancy for D, and we deduce some approximation results for functions of a complex variable. A theorem of Stone-Weierstrass type for complex simplex spaces is also proved.     

Some results concerning normal r- potent operators

In this note it will be shown that a normal operator A which satisfies the equation p(A)=0. where p is a polynomial, can be diagonalized. Next, an equivalent characterisation of a normal r-potent operator and some othci basic properties oi normal r-potent operators will he given Included will be a generalization of the algebraic version of Cochran's statistical theorem concerning quadratic forms.     

SOME RESULTS ON THE REFLEXIVITY OF OPERATOR SUBSPACES

In this paper, the properties B^n p,q, and B^n 1,q are introduced.A lot of results on the reflexivity of operator operator subspaces which generalize the results in [1] are obtained.     

Some G-M-type Banach spaces and K-groups of operator algebras on them

By providing several new varieties of G-M-type Banach spaces according todecomposable and compoundable properties, this paper discusses the operator structuresof these spaces and the K-theory of the algebra of the operators on these G-M-type Ba-nach spaces through calculation of the K-groups of the operator ideals contained in theclass of Riesz operators.     

Some estimates of maximal commutators for Bochner-Riesz operator on Morrey spaces

In this note, the authors show the boundedness of the maximal commutators of Bocher-Riesz operator B ^δ and that of maximal commutator B _δ1* ^b generated by B ^δ and a Lipschitz function b mapping from M _p ^q (R ⁿ ) into BMO space and also maps from M _p ^q (R ⁿ ) into L _(β−n/q).
