Berkovich investigated the following concept: a subgroup H of a finite group G is called an NR-subgroup (Normal Restriction) if whenever ${K \trianglelefteq H}$ , then ${K^G \cap H = K}$ , where K G is the normal closure of K in G. Bianchi, Gillio Berta Mauri, Herzog and Verardi proved a characterization of soluble T-groups by means of ${\mathcal{H}}$ -subgroups: a subgroup H of G is said to be an ${\mathcal{H}}$ -subgroup of G if ${H^g \cap N_G(H) \leq H}$ for all ${g \in G}$ . In this article we give new characterizations of finite soluble PST-groups in terms of NR-subgroups or ${\mathcal{H}}$ -subgroups. We will show that they are different from the ones given by Ballester-Bolinches, Esteban-Romero and Pedraza-Aguilera. Robinson established the structure of minimal non-PST-groups. We give the classification of groups all of whose second maximal subgroups (of even order) are soluble PST-groups.  相似文献

In this paper we give a generalization of the Zhao F(p, q, s)-spaces by using operators instead of functions. In this way we unify and simplify several important results about the classic spaces Dp, Qp{\mathcal{Q}}_{p} ,Bα, etc.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group and a formation of finite groups. We say that a subgroup H of G is -supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup T of G such that G = TH and is contained in the -hypercenter of G/H G . In this paper, we use -supplemented subgroups to study the structure of finite groups. A series of previously known results are unified and generalized. Let $G$ be a finite group. A subgroup $H$ of $G$ is called an $\mathcal{H }$ -subgroup of $G$ if $N_G(H)\cap H^g\le H$ for all $g\in G$ . A group $G$ is said to be an ${\mathcal{H }}_p$ -group if every cyclic subgroup of $G$ of prime order or order 4 is an $\mathcal{H }$ -subgroup of $G$ . In this paper, the structure of a finite group all of whose second maximal subgroups are ${\mathcal{H }}_p$ -subgroups has been characterized.  相似文献

Using the method of decisive creatures [see Kellner and Shelah (J Symb Log 74:73–104, 2009)] we show the consistency of “there is no increasing \(\omega _2\) –chain of Borel sets and \(\mathrm{non}({\mathcal N})= \mathrm{non}({\mathcal M})=\mathrm{non}({\mathcal N}\cap {\mathcal M})=\omega _2=2^\omega \) ”. Hence, consistently, there are no monotone Borel hulls for the ideal \({\mathcal M}\cap {\mathcal N}\) . This answers Balcerzak and Filipczak (Math Log Q 57:186–193, 2011 [Questions 23, 24]). Next we use finite support iteration of ccc forcing notions to show that there may be monotone Borel hulls for the ideals \({\mathcal M},{\mathcal N}\) even if they are not generated by towers.  相似文献

We show some of the conjectures of Pappas and Rapoport concerning the moduli stack BunG{{\rm Bun}_\mathcal {G}} of G{\mathcal {G}}-torsors on a curve C, where G{\mathcal {G}} is a semisimple Bruhat-Tits group scheme on C. In particular we prove the analog of the uniformization theorem of Drinfeld-Simpson in this setting. Furthermore we apply this to compute the connected components of these moduli stacks and to calculate the Picard group of BunG{{\rm Bun}_\mathcal {G}} in case G{\mathcal {G}} is simply connected.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate finite rank operators in the Jacobson radical of Alg( ), where are nests. Based on the concrete characterizations of rank one operators in Alg( ) and , we obtain that each finite rank operator in can be written as a finite sum of rank one operators in and the weak closure of equals Alg( ) if and only if at least one of is continuous.  相似文献

Let \({\mathcal {A}}\subseteq {\mathbb {N}}^n\) be a finite set, and \(K\subseteq {\mathbb {R}}^n\) be a compact semialgebraic set. An \({\mathcal {A}}\) -truncated multisequence ( \({\mathcal {A}}\) -tms) is a vector \(y=(y_{\alpha })\) indexed by elements in \({\mathcal {A}}\) . The \({\mathcal {A}}\) -truncated \(K\) -moment problem ( \({\mathcal {A}}\) -TKMP) concerns whether or not a given \({\mathcal {A}}\) -tms \(y\) admits a \(K\) -measure \(\mu \) , i.e., \(\mu \) is a nonnegative Borel measure supported in \(K\) such that \(y_\alpha = \int _K x^\alpha \mathtt {d}\mu \) for all \(\alpha \in {\mathcal {A}}\) . This paper proposes a numerical algorithm for solving \({\mathcal {A}}\) -TKMPs. It aims at finding a flat extension of \(y\) by solving a hierarchy of semidefinite relaxations \(\{(\mathtt {SDR})_k\}_{k=1}^\infty \) for a moment optimization problem, whose objective \(R\) is generated in a certain randomized way. If \(y\) admits no \(K\) -measures and \({\mathbb {R}}[x]_{{\mathcal {A}}}\) is \(K\) -full (there exists \(p \in {\mathbb {R}}[x]_{{\mathcal {A}}}\) that is positive on \(K\) ), then \((\mathtt {SDR})_k\) is infeasible for all \(k\) big enough, which gives a certificate for the nonexistence of representing measures. If \(y\) admits a \(K\) -measure, then for almost all generated \(R\) , this algorithm has the following properties: i) we can asymptotically get a flat extension of \(y\) by solving the hierarchy \(\{(\mathtt {SDR})_k\}_{k=1}^\infty \) ; ii) under a general condition that is almost sufficient and necessary, we can get a flat extension of \(y\) by solving \((\mathtt {SDR})_k\) for some \(k\) ; iii) the obtained flat extensions admit a \(r\) -atomic \(K\) -measure with \(r\le |{\mathcal {A}}|\) . The decomposition problems for completely positive matrices and sums of even powers of real linear forms, and the standard truncated \(K\) -moment problems, are special cases of \({\mathcal {A}}\) -TKMPs. They can be solved numerically by this algorithm.  相似文献

Inspired by the work of Colding and Minicozzi II: ”Generic mean curvature flow I: generic singularities”, we explore the notion of generic singularities for the harmonic map heat flow. We introduce ${\mathcal{F}}$ -functional and entropy for maps from Euclidean spaces. The critical points of the ${\mathcal{F}}$ -functional are exactly the weakly self-similar solutions to the harmonic map heat flow. We define the notion of ${\mathcal{F}}$ -stability for weakly self-similar solutions. The ${\mathcal{F}}$ -stability can be characterized by the semi-positive definiteness of the Jacobi operator acting on a subspace of variation fields.  相似文献

The present paper proposes a general theory for $\left( \mathcal{Z}_{1}, \mathcal{Z}_{2}\right) $ -complete partially ordered sets (alias $\mathcal{Z} _{1}$ -join complete and $\mathcal{Z}_{2}$ -meet complete partially ordered sets) and their Stone-like representations. It is shown that for suitably chosen subset selections $\mathcal{Z}_{i}$ (i?=?1,...,4) and $\mathcal{Q} =\left( \mathcal{Z}_{1},\mathcal{Z}_{2},\mathcal{Z}_{3},\mathcal{Z} _{4}\right) $ , the category $\mathcal{Q}$ P of $\left( \mathcal{Z}_{1},\mathcal{Z}_{2}\right) $ -complete partially ordered sets and $\left( \mathcal{Z}_{3},\mathcal{Z}_{4}\right) $ -continuous (alias $\mathcal{ Z}_{3}$ -join preserving and $\mathcal{Z}_{4}$ -meet preserving) functions forms a useful categorical framework for various order-theoretical constructs, and has a close connection with the category $\mathcal{Q}$ S of $\mathcal{Q}$ -spaces which are generalizations of topological spaces involving subset selections. In particular, this connection turns into a dual equivalence between the full subcategory $ \mathcal{Q}$ P s of $\mathcal{Q}$ P of all $\mathcal{Q}$ -spatial objects and the full subcategory $\mathcal{Q}$ S s of $\mathcal{Q}$ S of all $\mathcal{Q}$ -sober objects. Here $\mathcal{Q}$ -spatiality and $\mathcal{Q}$ -sobriety extend usual notions of spatiality of locales and sobriety of topological spaces to the present approach, and their relations to $\mathcal{Z}$ -compact generation and $\mathcal{Z}$ -sobriety have also been pointed out in this paper.  相似文献

H. P. Gumm and T. Schröder stated a hypothesis that the preservation of preimages by a functor T for which |T1| = 1 is equivalent to the satisfaction of the class equality ${{\mathcal {HS}}(\tt {K}) = {\mathcal {SH}}(\tt {K})}$ for any class K of T-coalgebras. Although we were not able to find a full solution, our paper gives a positive answer to this problem for a very wide class of Set-endofunctors.  相似文献

We consider the theory of categories enriched in an involutive quantaloid : the -*-categories. After giving an introduction to involutive quantaloids and nuclei, we use matrices with entries in to define -*-categories. Then we examine the relations between two kinds of morphisms between them, the functors and the *-maps, to provide a basis to study completeness properties. These results are used to provide a definition of pseudo-presheaves, presheaves and sheaves on involutive quantaloids in order to get a generalization of presheaves and sheaves on sites. Finally a characterization of these sheaves in terms of covers and compatible families is presented.   相似文献

We construct a family of completely regular semigroups with the property that each completely regular semigroup S with a finite number of -classes in each -class is non-cryptic if and only if S contains an isomorphic image of a member of . Each member F of is an ideal extension of a Rees matrix semigroup J by a cyclic group B with a zero adjoined and the identity of B is the identity of F. Here with I and Λ finite, G is given by generators and relations, and P is given explicitly. Within completely regular semigroups, the cryptic property is equivalent to where is the natural partial order and a if and only if a 2 = ab = ba. Hence the above result can be formulated in terms of and .   相似文献

In classical linear algebra, extending the ring of scalars of a free module gives rise to a new free module containing an isomorphic copy of the former and satisfying a certain universal property. Also, given two free modules on the same ring of scalars and a morphism between them, enlarging the ring of scalars results in obtaining a new morphism having the nice property that it coincides with the initial map on the isomorphic copy of the initial free module in the new one. We investigate these problems in the category of free ${\mathcal{A}}$ -modules, where ${\mathcal{A}}$ is an ${\mathbb{R}}$ -algebra sheaf. Complexification of free ${\mathcal{A}}$ -modules, which is defined to be the process of obtaining new free ${\mathcal{A}}$ -modules by enlarging the ${\mathbb{R}}$ -algebra sheaf ${\mathcal{A}}$ to a ${\mathbb{C}}$ -algebra sheaf, denoted ${\mathcal{A}_\mathbb{C}}$ , is an important particular case (see Proposition 2.1, Proposition 3.1). Attention, on the one hand, is drawn on the sub- ${_{\mathbb{R}}\mathcal{A}}$ -sheaf of almost complex structures on the sheaf ${{_\mathbb{R}}\mathcal{A}^{2n}}$ , the underlying ${\mathbb{R}}$ -algebra sheaf of a ${\mathbb{C}}$ -algebra sheaf ${\mathcal{A}}$ , and on the other hand, on the complexification of the functor ${\mathcal{H}om_\mathcal {A}}$ , with ${\mathcal{A}}$ an ${\mathbb{R}}$ -algebra sheaf.  相似文献

In this paper some properties concerning the notion of quasi H{\mathcal{H}} -closedness in topological spaces are obtained. Locally quasi H{\mathcal{H}} -closed spaces are studied. Properties of these types of spaces are investigated, when the subsets involved are α-open, semi-open, clopen, or preopen.  相似文献

For each clone C{\mathcal {C}} on a set A there is an associated equivalence relation analogous to Green’s R{\mathcal {R}} -relation, which relates two operations on A if and only if each one is a substitution instance of the other using operations from C{\mathcal {C}} . We study the clones for which there are only finitely many relative R{\mathcal {R}} -classes.  相似文献

In this work, we focus on cyclic codes over the ring \mathbbF2+u\mathbbF2+v\mathbbF2+uv\mathbbF2{{{\mathbb{F}}_2+u{\mathbb{F}}_2+v{\mathbb{F}}_2+uv{\mathbb{F}}_2}} , which is not a finite chain ring. We use ideas from group rings and works of AbuAlrub et.al. in (Des Codes Crypt 42:273–287, 2007) to characterize the ring (\mathbbF2+u\mathbbF2+v\mathbbF2+uv\mathbbF2)/(xn-1){({{\mathbb{F}}_2+u{\mathbb{F}}_2+v{\mathbb{F}}_2+uv{\mathbb{F}}_2})/(x^n-1)} and cyclic codes of odd length. Some good binary codes are obtained as the images of cyclic codes over \mathbbF2+u\mathbbF2+v\mathbbF2+uv\mathbbF2{{{\mathbb{F}}_2+u{\mathbb{F}}_2+v{\mathbb{F}}_2+uv{\mathbb{F}}_2}} under two Gray maps that are defined. We also characterize the binary images of cyclic codes over \mathbbF2+u\mathbbF2+v\mathbbF2+uv\mathbbF2{{{\mathbb{F}}_2+u{\mathbb{F}}_2+v{\mathbb{F}}_2+uv{\mathbb{F}}_2}} in general.  相似文献
