In this paper, we study the existence of infinitely many nontrivial solutions for a class of semilinear elliptic equations −△u+a(x)u=g(x,u)u+a(x)u=g(x,u) in a bounded smooth domain of RN(N≥3)RN(N3) with the Dirichlet boundary value, where the primitive of the nonlinearity gg is of superquadratic growth near infinity in uu and the potential aa is allowed to be sign-changing. We prove the existence of infinitely many solutions for symmetric elliptic systems with nonlinearities of arbitrary growth. Moreover, if the symmetry of the problem is broken by a small enough perturbation term, we find at least three solutions. The proofs utilise a variational setting given by de Figueiredo and Ruf in order to prove an existence's result and the “algebraic” approach based on the Pohozaev's fibering method.  相似文献

We consider the boundary value problem Δu+up=0 in a bounded, smooth domain Ω in R2 with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition and p a large exponent. We find topological conditions on Ω which ensure the existence of a positive solution up concentrating at exactly m points as p→∞. We study the boundary value problems for Monge-Ampère equations: detD2u=eu in ΩRn, n?1, u|Ω=0. First we prove that any solution on the ball is radially symmetric by the argument of moving plane. Then we show there exists a critical radius such that if the radius of a ball is smaller than this critical value there exists a solution, and vice versa. Using the comparison between domains we can prove that this phenomenon occurs for every domain. Finally we consider an equivalent problem with a parameter detD2u=etu in Ω, u|Ω=0, t?0. By using Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction method we get the local structure of the solutions near a degenerate point; by Leray-Schauder degree theory, a priori estimate and bifurcation theory we get the global structure.  相似文献

We consider a nonlinear elliptic equation driven by the p-Laplacian with Dirichlet boundary conditions. Using variational techniques combined with the method of upper-lower solutions and suitable truncation arguments, we establish the existence of at least five nontrivial solutions. Two positive, two negative and a nodal (sign-changing) solution. Our framework of analysis incorporates both coercive and p-superlinear problems. Also the result on multiple constant sign solutions incorporates the case of concave-convex nonlinearities.  相似文献

We consider the problem −Δu+a(x)u=f(x)|u|2*−2u in Ω, u=0 on ∂Ω, where Ω is a bounded smooth domain in RN, N?4, is the critical Sobolev exponent, and a,f are continuous functions. We assume that Ω, a and f are invariant under the action of a group of orthogonal transformations. We obtain multiplicity results which contain information about the symmetry and symmetry-breaking properties of the solutions, and about their nodal domains. In this paper we continue the analysis of the blow-up of low energy sign-changing solutions of semi-linear elliptic equations with critical Sobolev exponent, started in [M. Ben Ayed, K. El Mehdi, F. Pacella, Blow-up and nonexistence of sign-changing solutions to the Brezis-Nirenberg problem in dimension three, Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire, in press]. Summary We give sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions to some semilinear elliptic equations in unbounded Lipschitz domainsD d (d3), having compact boundary, with nonlinear Neumann boundary conditions on the boundary ofD. The paper concerns a resonance problem for a class of singular quasilinear elliptic equations in weighted Sobolev spaces. The equation set studied is one of the most useful sets of Navier-Stokes equations; these describe the motion of viscous fluid substances such as liquids, gases and so on. By using Galerkin-type techniques, the Brouwer fixed point theorem, and a new weighted compact Sobolev-type embedding theorem established by Shapiro, we show the existence of a nontrivial solution.  相似文献
