We report a measurement of the exclusive e+ e- -->Lambda+_(c)Lambda-_(c) cross section as a function of center-of-mass energy near the Lambda+_(c)Lambda-_(c) threshold. A clear peak with a significance of 8.2sigma is observed in the Lambda+_(c)Lambda-_(c) invariant mass distribution just above threshold. With an assumption of a resonance origin for the observed peak, a mass and width of M=[4634 (+8)_(-7)(stat)(+5)_(-8)(syst)] MeV/c(2) and Gamma_(tot)=[92 (+40)_(-24)(stat)(+10)_(-21)(syst)] MeV are determined. The analysis is based on a study of events with initial-state-radiation photons in a data sample collected with the Belle detector at the Upsilon(4S) resonance and nearby continuum with an integrated luminosity of 695 fb(-1) at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider.  相似文献

A study of the dynamical fluctuation properties at various c.m. Energies in e+e- collisions is performed using the Monte Carlo method. The results suggest that, after the normalized factorial moments of 3-dimensional phase space are analyzed using an isotropical phase space partition, the NFM describing non-linear dynamical properties show a power-law scaling, I.e., the dynamical fluctuations in higher dimensional phase space are isotropic. For c.m. Energies √s≤80 GeV,the scaling exponents φq increase rapidly with the c.m. Energy and for c.m. Energies √s>80 GeV,the φq gradually saturate.  相似文献

A study of the dynamical-fluctuation property of 2-jet events is carried out. It is found that the dynamical fluctuations of the hadronic system inside 2-jet events change with the variation of the cut parameter ycut. There is a transition point, where the dynamical fluctuations in these systems are circular in the transverse plane; and are elliptical in the longitudinal-transverse planes. It is shown that this transition point corresponds to the scale of visible jets. Meanwhile, the dynamical fluctuation properties inside a single-jet in 2-jet and 3-jet events are compared. The dynamical fluctuations inside quark- and gluon-jets are found to be qualitatively different. A scale for the "visible gluon jet" production is thus obtained.  相似文献

Using the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring we have observed the Omega(0)(c) (css ground state) in the decay Omega(0)(c)-->Omega(-)e(+)nu(e). We find a signal of 11.4+/-3.8(stat) events. The probability that we have observed a background fluctuation is 7.6x10(-5). We measure B(Omega(0)(c)-->Omega(-)e(+)nu(e)).sigma(e(+)e(-)-->Omega(0)(c)X)=(42.2+/-14.1(stat)+/-5.7(syst)) fb and R=[Gamma(Omega(0)(c)-->Omega(-)pi(+))]/[Gamma(Omega(0)(c)-->Omega(-)enu(e))]=00.41+/-0.19(stat)+/-0.04(syst). This is the first statistically significant observation of an individual decay mode of the Omega(0)(c) in e(+)e(-) annihilation and the first example of a baryon decaying via beta emission, where no quarks from the first generation participate in the reaction.  相似文献

We present a search for new charmonium like states in e+e- annihilation using the initial-state radiation and the process e+e-→J/ψ D(*)D(*). The analyses are based on a huge data sample recorded near the T(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- asymmetric-energy collider.  相似文献
