For the alkaline fuel cell cathode reaction, it is very essential to develop novel catalysts with superior catalytic properties. Here, we report the synthesis of highly active and stable MoS2/Pd composites for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), via a simple, eco-friendly sonochemical method. The bulk MoS2 was first transformed into single and few layers MoS2 nanosheets through ultrasonic exfoliation. Then the exfoliated MoS2 nanosheets served as supporting materials for the nucleation and further in-situ growth of Pd nanoparticles to form MoS2/Pd composites via ultrasonic irradiation. Cyclic voltammetry and rotating disk voltammetry measurements demonstrate that as-prepared MoS2/Pd composites which provides a direct four-electron pathway for the ORR, have better electrocatalytic activity, long-term operation stability than commercial Pt/C catalyst. We expect that the present work would provide a promising strategy for the development of efficient oxygen reduction electrocatalyst. In addition, this study can also be extended to the preparation of other hybrid with desirable morphologies and functions.  相似文献

We have developed an efficient protocol for the synthesis of $\upbeta $ -amino carbonyl compounds using phenylboronic acid as effective and eco-friendly catalyst via one-pot three-component Mannich reaction. A highly dispersed and ultrafine carbon supported Pd nanoparticles (Pd/C) catalyst is synthesized by a facile homogeneous precipitation-reduction reaction method. Under the appropriate pH conditions, [PdCl4]2− species in PdCl2 solution are slowly transformed into the insoluble palladium oxide hydrate (PdO·H2O) precipitation by heat treatment due to a slow hydrolysis reaction, which results in the generation of carbon supported PdO·H2O nanoparticles (PdO·H2O/C) sample with the high dispersion and small particle size. Consequently, a highly dispersed and ultrafine Pd/C catalyst can be synthesized by PdO·H2O → Pd0 in situ reduction reaction path in the presence of NaBH4. As a result, the resulting Pd/C catalyst possesses a significantly electrocatalytic performance for formic acid electrooxidation, which is attributed to the uniformly sized and highly dispersed nanostructure.  相似文献

Poly(4-vinylpyridinium) perchlorate, is a supported, recyclable, eco-benign catalyst for synthesis of substituted coumarins via Pechmann reaction using ultrasound irradiation at room temperature and neat condition in high yields with short reaction times. The catalyst was studied by FT-IR, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, thermo-gravimetric and energy dispersion X-ray analyses. All the products were extensively characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR, MS and melting point analyses. This methodology offers momentous improvements over various options for the synthesis of coumarins with regard to yield of products, simplicity in operation and green aspects by avoiding toxic catalysts and solvents. Further, the catalyst can be reused and recovered for several times without loss of activity.  相似文献
