In this paper, we investigate the relation between the rate of convergence for the derivatives of the combinations of Baskakov operators and the smoothness for the derivatives of the functions approximated. We give some direct and inverse results on pointwise simultaneous approximation by the combinations of Baskakov operators. In the year 1994, Gupta (Approx Theory Appl (N.S.) 10(3):74–78, 1994) introduced the integral modification of well known Baskakov operators with weights of Beta basis functions and obtained better approximation over the usual Baskakov Durrmeyer operators. The rate of convergence for Bézier variant of these operators for functions of bounded variations were discussed in Gupta (Int J Math Math Sci 32(8):471–479, 2002). The present paper is the extension of the previous work, here we consider the Bézier variant of Baskakov-Beta-Stancu operators. We estimate the rate of convergence of these operators for the bounded functions. In the end of the paper we suggest an open problem.  相似文献

In the present paper, we study some approximation properties of the Durrmeyer type modification of generalized Baskakov operators introduced by Erencin (Appl Math Comput 218(3):4384–4390, 2011). First, we establish a Lorentz-type lemma for the derivatives of the kernel of the generalized Baskakov operators and then obtain a recurrence relation for the moments of their Durrmeyer type modification. Next, we discuss some direct results in simultaneous approximation by these operators e.g. pointwise convergence theorem, Voronovskaja-type theorem and an estimate of error in terms of the modulus of continuity. The present paper deals with the study of a Durrmeyer-type integral modification of certain modified Baskakov operators. Here we study simultaneous approximation properties for these operators by using the iterative combinations.
