本文讨论了Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子加Ｊａｃｏｂｉ权逼近的收敛性，首先指出了按通常的加权范数，Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子是无界的。然后引入一种新的范数，在此范数下Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子具有压缩性，最后借助于Ｋ－泛函，我们着重讨论了它的特征刻划问题。     

双截断Baskakov局部化算子的收敛性

本文考虑Baskakov算子的一种新的局部化算子,获得了该算子的一些收敛性质.另外,利用概率论中心极限定理,建立了Baskakov算子核的新估计.     

Pointwise Simultaneous Approximation by Combinations of Baskakov Operators

In this paper, we investigate the relation between the rate of convergence for the derivatives of the combinations of Baskakov operators and the smoothness for the derivatives of the functions approximated. We give some direct and inverse results on pointwise simultaneous approximation by the combinations of Baskakov operators. We also give a new equivalent result on pointwise approximation by these operators.

In this paper, we introduce a general modification of the classical Baskakov operators which do not need to preserve the test function x ². Then, we study an approximation theorem, a Voronovskaya theorem, and various local approximation results for our modified Baskakov operators.

In the present paper, Durrmeyer type modification of generalized Baskakov operators is introduced and some direct results are established for these operators.

In this paper we establish direct local and global approximation theorems for Baskakov type operators and Szasz - Mirakjan type operators, respectively.

On Baskakov–Szász–Mirakyan-type operators preserving exponential type functions

The current article deals with the study of Baskakov–Szász–Mirakyan operators which reproduces constant and exponential functions. We discuss a uniform estimate and establish a quantitative result for the modified operators.     

Direct and strong converse theorems for a general sequence of positive linear operators

We present direct and strong converse theorems for a general sequence of positive linear operators satisfying some functional equations. The results can be applied to some extensions of Baskakov and Szász–Mirakyan operators.

本文首先给出了在Ｌｐ逼近意义下某些线性正算子加Ｊａｃｏｂｉ权逼近时的特征定理，作为应用，我们给出了多元Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ型算子、多元Ｓｚａｓｚ－Ｍｉｒａｋｊａｎ型算子和多元Ｂｅｔａ算子加权逼近时的特征刻划．     

Bézier variant of Baskakov-Beta-Stancu operators

In the year 1994, Gupta (Approx Theory Appl (N.S.) 10(3):74–78, 1994) introduced the integral modification of well known Baskakov operators with weights of Beta basis functions and obtained better approximation over the usual Baskakov Durrmeyer operators. The rate of convergence for Bézier variant of these operators for functions of bounded variations were discussed in Gupta (Int J Math Math Sci 32(8):471–479, 2002). The present paper is the extension of the previous work, here we consider the Bézier variant of Baskakov-Beta-Stancu operators. We estimate the rate of convergence of these operators for the bounded functions. In the end of the paper we suggest an open problem.     

Some approximation results for Durrmeyer operators

In the present paper, we obtain a sequence of positive linear operators which has a better rate of convergence than the Szász-Mirakian Durrmeyer and Baskakov Durrmeyer operators and their Voronovskaya type results.     

Rodriguez-type Representation for the Eigenfunctions of Durrmeyer-type Operators

In this paper we consider a generalization of different variants of Durrmeyer- type modifications of Baskakov and Meyer- König and Zeller operators. We prove a general result concerning the commutativity of these operators with certain differential operators. Prom this result a Rodriguez- type formula for the eigenfunctions follows as a corollary.     

Generalized Baskakov–Durrmeyer type operators

In the present paper, we study some approximation properties of the Durrmeyer type modification of generalized Baskakov operators introduced by Erencin (Appl Math Comput 218(3):4384–4390, 2011). First, we establish a Lorentz-type lemma for the derivatives of the kernel of the generalized Baskakov operators and then obtain a recurrence relation for the moments of their Durrmeyer type modification. Next, we discuss some direct results in simultaneous approximation by these operators e.g. pointwise convergence theorem, Voronovskaja-type theorem and an estimate of error in terms of the modulus of continuity. Finally, we estimate the error in the approximation of functions having derivatives of bounded variation.     

The best asymptotic constant of a class of approximation operators

The best asymptotic constant was established by Esseen for Bernstein operators. In this paper, we extend Esseen's result to a class of linear positive operators and as byproduct we obtain the best asymptotic constant for Szász, Baskakov, Gamma, and B-Spline operators.     

Simultaneous Approximation for Generalized Baskakov-Durrmeyer-Type Operators

The present paper deals with the study of a Durrmeyer-type integral modification of certain modified Baskakov operators. Here we study simultaneous approximation properties for these operators by using the iterative combinations. We obtain an asymptotic formula and an error estimation in terms of higher order modulus of continuity for these operators.
