报道了高功率、高光束质量的垂直腔面发射半导体激光器(VCSEL)侧泵的Nd:YAG激光振荡器。从VCSEL泵浦源的主动冷却的热沉结构出发,设计了5个227 W的VCSEL线阵,并且通过优化侧面泵浦大口径激光棒的结构,研制成了具备480 W输出能力的棒状激光模块,相应的光-光效率为49.7%。在此基础上,设计了一种高功率、高光束质量的VCSEL侧面泵浦棒状Nd:YAG激光振荡器。腔内插入望远镜光学元件,并通过优化各光学元件的参数使其工作在热近非稳区域,以达到增大基横模体积和抑制高阶横模目的。最终,获得114 W的输出功率,相应的平均光束质量因子M2为1.42。由于VCSEL具备优秀的波长-温度稳定性,这种高功率、高光束质量的VCSEL泵浦的固体激光器在工业、空间等领域,具有极为广阔的应用前景。 相似文献

报道了一种利用球差补偿效应提高侧面泵浦主振荡功率放大器输出光束质量的实验装置。在理论上提出了一种新的球差补偿方法,利用正球差经过会聚透镜焦点后向负球差转化的现象,补偿下一放大级中的正球差效应。在实验上搭建了两级放大的侧面泵浦Nd:YAG主振荡功率放大器。在连续输出的情况下,从振荡级输出功率为42W、光束质量因子为1.48的种子光,经过一级放大后的功率为74W,光束质量因子恶化为1.80;继续经过二级放大后,光束质量因子提高为1.40。实验结果表明,所提出的球差补偿理论是提高激光放大过程中光束质量的有效手段。 相似文献

通过主动相位控制实现了两路固体激光器的高光束质量相干合成输出,总输出功率达到240W。建立了两路120W板条激光放大器,通过光束整形获得了高光束质量方形光斑,并实现了高占空比光束拼接,填充因子高于92.4%。研制了光轴一致性探测与控制系统,采用基于压电陶瓷的快反镜实现了光轴的高精度闭环控制,两束激光光轴一致性优于2μrad(RMS)。设计了基于现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)的相位探测与控制系统,用随机并行梯度下降算法(SPGD)锁定了两束激光的活塞相位。相位闭环后,远场光斑峰值提高到开环状态的1.7倍,为理想值的84%。合成光束主瓣包含67%的激光总能量,光束质量(BQ)为1.1。 相似文献

Greater than 12 W of average output power has been generated from a diode-pumped Yb:YAG cladding-pumped planar waveguide laser. The laser radiation developed is linearly polarized and diffraction limited in the guiding dimension. A slope efficiency of 0.5 W/W with a peak optical-optical conversion efficiency of 0.31 W/W is achieved. In a related structure, greater than 8 W of Q -switched average output power has been generated from a Nd:YAG cladding-pumped planar waveguide laser by incorporation of a Cr(4+): YAG passive Q switch monolithically into the waveguide structure. Pulse widths of 3 ns and pulse-repetition frequencies as high as 80 kHz have been demonstrated. A slope efficiency of 0.28 W/W with a peak optical-optical conversion efficiency of 0.21 W/W is achieved. 相似文献

We report a continuous-wave (CW) yellow laser emission by sum-frequency mixing in Nd:YVO4 crystal. Using type-II critical phase-matching KTP crystal, a yellow laser at 593.5 nm is obtained by 1064 and 1342 nm intracavity sum-frequency mixing. The maximum laser output power of 2.1 W is obtained when an incident pump laser of 18.2 W is used. At the output power level of 2.1 W, the output stability is better than 3.2%. 相似文献

The 940 nm Al-free active region laser diodes and bars with a broad waveguide were designed and fabricated. The stuctures were grown by metal organic chemical vapour deposition. The devices show excellent performances. The maximum output power of 6.7 W in the 100 μm broad-area laser diodes has been measured, and is 2.5 times higher than that in the Al-containing active region laser diodes with a narrow waveguide and 1.7 times higher than that in Al-free active region laser diodes with a narrow waveguide. The 19% fill-factor laser diode bars emit 33 W, and they can operate at 15W with low degradation rates. 相似文献

Based on the analysis of laser threshold of quasi-three-level laser system and the parameters optimization of resonant cavity, a compact setup of 457 nm blue-ray laser system is designed, and the laser operation at 914 nm and its second harmonic at 457 nm was obtained by intracavity frequency doubling with LBO nonlinear crystal. At an incident pump power of 24.3 W, the maximum output power at 457 nm is 2.34 W the optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is greater than 9.74%, and the fluctuation of the blue output power is less than 3.01%, besides, laser threshold of this laser system is 3.7 W which is the lowest at present. 相似文献

We report for the first time a continuous wave (CW) coherent radiation at 611 nm by intracavity sum-frequency generation of
1064 nm Nd:YVO4 laser and 1433 nm Nd:YAP laser. Red-orange laser is obtained by using a doubly cavity, type-II critical phase matching KTP
crystal sum-frequency mixing. With total pump power of 27.9 W (17.8 W pump power for 1433 nm Nd:YAP laser and 10.1 W pump
