Quantum chromodynamics (QCD) is a renormalizable gauge theory that successfully describes the fundamental interaction of quarks and gluons. The rich dynamical content of QCD is manifest, for example, in the spectroscopy of complex hadrons or the emergence of quark–gluon plasma. There is a fair amount of uncertainty regarding the behavior of perturbative QCD in the infrared and far ultraviolet regions. Our work explores these two domains of QCD using non-linear dynamics and complexity theory. We find that local bifurcations of the renormalization flow destabilize asymptotic freedom and induce a steady transition to chaos in the far ultraviolet limit. We also conjecture that, in the infrared region, dissipative non-linearity of the renormalization flow supplies a natural mechanism for confinement. 相似文献

Principles for selecting the four-fermion models as a low-energy approximation of the QCD are formulated for the gauged Nambu-Jona-Lasinio
model in the dynamic symmetry breaking regime. On their basis the possibility of intrinsic stabilization at a finite momentum
cutoff Λ is considered by means of an effective potential. Within the framework of the approach we study the influence of
the gluon condensate on the parameters of the effective chiral Lagrangian at low energies. Bibliography: 8 titles.

We show that it is impossible to construct asymptotic free quark states in quantum chromodynamics using the method of asymptotic
dynamics.
In 1983 Nikita Alexeevich Sveshnikov and myself published a paper [1] about the absence of free quarks in the perturbative
quantum chromodynamics (QCD). In that paper, we gave only a sketch of the rigorous proofs of the corresponding statements.
We planned to publish a detailed paper on this subject later, but we did not do so. Nikita Alexeevich always sought a very
high level of mathematical rigor, and he did achieve it in his published papers. Now, when he has passed away, I am hardly
able to present a text whose quality would satisfy his high criteria. Yet I have decided to pblish our old notes, hoping they
could be useful to the people working on the infrared divergence problems of the QCD confinement. I must stress that all the
ideas of this work belong to Nikita Alexeevich while all the responsibility for deficiencies in the presentation rests with
