In this paper, anti-controlling quasi-periodic impact motion of an inertial impact shaker system is addressed. There exist two aspects of difficulty in the anti-control design: one is from the implicit Poincaré map of the system itself and the other from the limitation of the classical critical criterion of Hopf bifurcation described by the properties of eigenvalues. Through using linear feedback control method in the original differential system and applying an explicit criterion of Hopf bifurcation without using eigenvalues to the Poincaré map of the close-loop system, the two difficulties above can be overcome and the control design for creation of the quasi-periodic impact motion at a specified system parameter location is achieved. Numerical simulation shows that the stable quasi-periodic impact motion of the system is created at a desired parameter location by adjusting control parameter appropriately.  相似文献

为进一步了解一个复杂的有不稳定奇点的三维动力系统在Hopf分岔点附近的非线性特性,采用非线性控制器,提出了相应的控制系统,使得受控系统可能发生余维一、余维二和余维三的Hopf分岔.通过严格的数学推导给出了受控系统发生分岔的参数条件,证明了可控制系统在指定区域内发生退化分岔和可调控分岔的稳定性.  相似文献

分岔反控制作为传统分岔控制的逆问题, 其目的是在预先指定的系统参数点通过控制主动设计出具有所期望特性的分岔解. 以一类三自由度含间隙双面碰撞振动系统为研究对象, 在不改变原系统平衡解结构的前提下, 考虑到在碰撞振动系统反控制过程中由Poincaré映射的隐式特点和传统的映射Neimark-Sacker分岔临界准则带来的困难, 通过对原系统施加线性反馈控制器并利用不直接依赖于特征值计算的Neimark-Sacker分岔显式临界准则研究了此系统的分岔反控制问题. 首先对原系统施加线性反馈控制, 建立闭环控制系统的六维Poincaré映射. 由于六维映射的雅克比矩阵的特征值没有解析的表达式, 利用高维映射Neimark-Sacker分岔的显式临界准则, 获得了系统出现拟周期碰撞振动运动的控制参数区域. 然后采用中心流形-正则形方法分析了拟周期分岔解的稳定性. 数值仿真结果表明本文方法可以在指定的系统参数点通过控制设计出稳定的拟周期碰撞运动.  相似文献

A feedback control method is proposed to create a degenerate Hopf bifurcation in three-dimensional maps at a desired parameter point. The particularity of this bifurcation is that the system admits a stable fixed point inside a stable Hopf circle, between which an unstable Hopf circle resides. The interest of this solution structure is that the asymptotic behavior of the system can be switched between stationary and quasi-periodic motions by only tuning the initial state conditions. A set of critical and stability conditions for the degenerate Hopf bifurcation are discussed. The washout-filter-based controller with a polynomial control law is utilized. The control gains are derived from the theory of Chenciner's degenerate Hopf bifurcation with the aid of the center manifold reduction and the normal form evolution.  相似文献

The influence of system parameters such as the flame location, Peclet number and Damköhler number on the bifurcation characteristics and flame dynamics of a ducted non-premixed flame with finite rate chemistry is presented in this paper. In the bifurcation plot with flame location as the bifurcation parameter, subcritical Hopf bifurcation is found for lower values of flame location and supercritical Hopf bifurcation for higher values of flame location, for all the Damköhler numbers used in this study. The flame shapes are captured at eight different phases of a cycle of time series data of acoustic velocity at both the fold and Hopf points for bifurcation with flame location as the parameter. We find that the range of flame height variations at the Hopf point is more than the range of flame height variations obtained at the fold point. We also find that the flame oscillates in the same phase as pressure fluctuation but in a phase different from both velocity and heat release rate fluctuations in the region of hysteresis for bifurcation with flame location. The non-dimensional hysteresis width is plotted as a function of Damköhler number for variation of flame location in the subcritical region. An inverse power law relation is found between the non-dimensional hysteresis width and the Damköhler number. The bifurcation plot with Peclet number as parameter shows a subcritical Hopf bifurcation.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the Hopf bifurcation control of a modified Pan-like chaotic system. Based on the Routh-Hurwtiz theory and high-dimensional Hopf bifurcation theory, the existence and stability of the Hopf bifurcation depending on selected values of the system parameters are studied. The region of the stability for the Hopf bifurcation is investigated.By the hybrid control method, a nonlinear controller is designed for changing the Hopf bifurcation point and expanding the range of the stability. Discussions show that with the change of parameters of the controller, the Hopf bifurcation emerges at an expected location with predicted properties and the range of the Hopf bifurcation stability is expanded. Finally,numerical simulation is provided to confirm the analytic results.  相似文献

Despite significant research, self-excited thermoacoustic oscillations continue to hinder the development of lean-premixed gas turbines, making the early detection of such oscillations a key priority. We perform output-only system identification of a turbulent lean-premixed combustor near a Hopf bifurcation using the noise-induced dynamics generated by inherent turbulence in the fixed-point regime, prior to the Hopf point itself. We model the pressure fluctuations in the combustor with a van der Pol-type equation and its corresponding Stuart–Landau equation. We extract the drift and diffusion terms of the equivalent Fokker–Planck equation via the transitional probability density function of the pressure amplitude. We then optimize the extracted terms with the adjoint Fokker–Planck equation. Through comparisons with experimental data, we show that this approach can enable prediction of (i) the location of the Hopf point and (ii) the limit-cycle amplitude after the Hopf point. This study shows that output-only system identification can be performed on a turbulent combustor using only pre-bifurcation data, opening up new pathways to the development of early warning indicators of thermoacoustic instability in practical combustion systems.  相似文献

We analyze noise-induced phenomena in nonlinear dynamical systems near a subcritical Hopf bifurcation. We investigate qualitative changes of probability distributions (stochastic bifurcations), coherence resonance, and stochastic synchronization. These effects are studied in dynamical systems for which a subcritical Hopf bifurcation occurs. We perform analytical calculations, numerical simulations and experiments on an electronic circuit. For the generalized Van der Pol model we uncover the similarities between the behavior of a self-sustained oscillator characterized by a subcritical Hopf bifurcation and an excitable system. The analogy is manifested through coherence resonance and stochastic synchronization. In particular, we show both experimentally and numerically that stochastic oscillations that appear due to noise in a system with hard excitation, can be partially synchronized even outside the oscillatory regime of the deterministic system.  相似文献

We investigate the Hopf bifurcation of the synchronous chaos in coupled Lorenz oscillators. We find that the system undergoes a phase transition along the Hopf instability of the synchronous chaos. The phase transition makes the traveling wave component with the phase difference φ(i)-φ(i+1)=2π/N between adjacent sites unstable. The phase transition also plays a role to relate the Hopf bifurcation with the co-dimension two bifurcation of the synchronous chaos.  相似文献

We perform bifurcation analysis in a complex Ginzburg–Landau system with delayed feedback under the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. We calculate the amplitude death region, and it turns out that the boundary of the amplitude death region consists of two Hopf bifurcation curves with wave number zero. The existence conditions for double Hopf bifurcations are established. Taking the feedback strength and time delay as bifurcation parameters, normal forms truncated to the third order at double Hopf singularity are derived, and the unfolding near the critical points is given. The bifurcation diagram near the double Hopf bifurcation is drawn in the two-parameter plane. The phenomena of amplitude death, the existence of stable bifurcating periodic solutions, and the coexistence of two stable periodic solutions with fast oscillation and slow oscillation respectively are simulated.  相似文献

针对控制无线网络拥塞控制系统中流体流模型的Hopf分岔的问题,提出一种状态反馈控制器.通过选择通信时延作为分岔参数,验证模型在加入状态反馈控制器后,①增加了分岔参数的临界值,扩大了稳定性区域,使系统的Hopf分岔延迟;②通过选择合适的参数,可以容易地改变分岔周期解的稳定性及其分岔方向.理论分析和数据仿真验证了该方法能够有效地控制系统的Hopf分岔.  相似文献

To relocate two Hopf bifurcation points, simultaneously, to any desired locations in n-dimensional nonlinear systems, a novel dynamic state-feedback control law is proposed. Analytical schemes to determine the control gains according to the conditions for the emergence of Hopf bifurcation are derived. Rank-1 attractors play a vital role in biological systems and the circuit systems.In this paper,we consider a periodically kicked Chua model with two delays in a circuit system.We first analyze the local stability of the equilibria of the Chua system and obtain the existence conditions of supercritical Hopf bifurcations.Then,we derive some explicit formulas about Hopf bifurcation,which could help us find the form of Hopf bifurcation and the stability of bifurcating period solutions through the Hassards method.Also,we show that rank-1 chaos occurs when the Chua model with two delays undergoes a supercritical Hopf bifurcation and encounters a periodic kick,which shows the effect of two delays on the circuit system.Finally,we illustrate the theoretical analysis by simulations and try to explain the mechanism of delay in our system.  相似文献

针对一类多项式形式的Hopf分岔系统, 提出了一种鲁棒稳定的控制器设计方法. 使用该方法设计控制器时不需要求解出系统在分岔点处的分岔参数值, 只需要估算出分岔参数的上下界, 然后设计一个参数化的控制器, 并通过Hurwitz判据和柱形代数剖分技术求解出满足上下界条件的控制器参数区域, 最后在得到的这个区域内确定出满足鲁棒稳定的控制器参数值. 该方法设计的控制器是由包含系统状态的多项式构成, 形式简单, 具有通用性, 且添加控制器后不会改变原系统平衡点的位置. 本文首先以Lorenz系统为例说明了控制器的推导和设计过程, 然后以van der Pol振荡系统为例, 进行了工程应用. 通过对这两个系统的控制器设计和仿真, 说明了文中提出的控制器设计方法能够有效地应用于这类Hopf分岔系统的鲁棒稳定控制, 并且具有通用性.  相似文献

Wave trains, or periodic travelling waves, can evolve behind invasion fronts in oscillatory reaction-diffusion models for predator-prey systems. Although there is a one-parameter family of possible wave train solutions, in a particular predator invasion a single member of this family is selected. Sherratt (1998) [13] has predicted this wave train selection, using a λ-ω system that is a valid approximation near a supercritical Hopf bifurcation in the corresponding kinetics and when the predator and prey diffusion coefficients are nearly equal. Away from a Hopf bifurcation, or if the diffusion coefficients differ somewhat, these predictions lose accuracy. We develop a more general wave train selection prediction for a two-component reaction-diffusion predator-prey system that depends on linearizations at the unstable homogeneous steady states involved in the invasion front. This prediction retains accuracy farther away from a Hopf bifurcation, and can also be applied when the predator and prey diffusion coefficients are unequal. We illustrate the selection prediction with its application to three models of predator invasions.  相似文献
