In this paper, we discuss the existence of weak solutions to the initial and boundary value problem of a class of nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations in non-divergence form. Applying the method of parabolic regularization, we prove the existence of weak solutions to the problem. By carefully analyzing the approximate solutions to the problem, we make a series of estimates to the solutions and prove the weak convergence of the approximation solution sequence. Finally we testify the existence of weak solutions to the problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the initial boundary value problem of nonlinear pseudo‐parabolic equation with a memory term with initial conditions and Dirichlet boundary conditions. By the combination of the Galerkin method and Potential well theory, the existence of global solutions is derived. Moreover, not only the finite time blow up of solutions with the negative initial energy (E(0) < 0) but also the finite time blow up results with the nonnegative initial energy (0≤E(0) < dk) are obtained by using Concavity method and Potential well theory. A smooth, compact and strictly convex hypersurface evolving in ℝ n+1 along its mean curvature vector plus a forcing term in the direction of its position vector is studied in this paper. We show that the convexity is preserving as the case of mean curvature flow, and the evolving convex hypersurfaces may shrink to a point in finite time if the forcing term is small, or exist for all time and expand to infinity if it is large enough. The flow can converge to a round sphere if the forcing term satisfies suitable conditions which will be given in the paper. Long-time existence and convergence of normalization of the flow are also investigated.  相似文献

A new mixed scheme which combines the variation of constants and the H 1-Galerkin mixed finite element method is constructed for nonlinear Sobolev equation with nonlinear convection term. Optimal error estimates are derived for both semidiscrete and fully discrete schemes. Finally, some numerical results are given to confirm the theoretical analysis of the proposed method.  相似文献
