Fredholm criteria and index formulas are established for Wiener-Hopf operators W(a) with semi-almost periodic matrix symbols a on weighted Lebesgue spaces where 1 < p < ∞, w belongs to a subclass of Muckenhoupt weights and . We also study the invertibility of Wiener-Hopf operators with almost periodic matrix symbols on . In the case N = 1 we also obtain a semi-Fredholm criterion for Wiener-Hopf operators with semi-almost periodic symbols and, for another subclass of weights, a Fredholm criterion for Wiener-Hopf operators with semi-periodic symbols. Fredholm conditions and an index formula are obtained for Wiener-Hopf operators W(a) with slowly oscillating matrix symbols a on weighted Lebesgue spaces where 1 < p < ∞, w is a Muckenhoupt weight on and . The entries of matrix symbols belong to a Banach subalgebra of Fourier multipliers on that are continuous on and have, in general, different slowly oscillating asymptotics at ±∞. To define the Banach algebra SOp, w of corresponding slowly oscillating functions, we apply the theory of pseudodifferential and Calderón-Zygmund operators. Established sufficient conditions become a Fredholm criterion in the case of Muckenhoupt weights with equal indices of powerlikeness, and also for Muckenhoupt weights with different indices of powerlikeness under some additional condition on p, w and a. The main results of the paper are: (1) The boundedness of singular integral operators in the variable exponent Lebesgue spaces L p(·)(Γ, w) on a class of composed Carleson curves Γ where the weights w have a finite set of oscillating singularities. The proof of this result is based on the boundedness of Mellin pseudodifferential operators on the spaces Lp(·)(\mathbbR +,dm){L^{p(\cdot )}(\mathbb{R} _{+},d\mu)} where dμ is an invariant measure on multiplicative group ${\mathbb{R}_{+}=\left\{r\in \mathbb{R}:r >0 \right\}}${\mathbb{R}_{+}=\left\{r\in \mathbb{R}:r >0 \right\}}. (2) Criterion of local invertibility of singular integral operators with piecewise slowly oscillating coefficients acting on L p(·)(Γ, w) spaces. We obtain this criterion from the corresponding criteria of local invertibility at the point 0 of Mellin pseudodifferential operators on \mathbbR+{\mathbb{R}_{+}} and local invertibility of singular integral operators on \mathbbR{\mathbb{R}}. (3) Criterion of Fredholmness of singular integral operators in the variable exponent Lebesgue spaces L p(·)(Γ, w) where Γ belongs to a class of composed Carleson curves slowly oscillating at the nodes, and the weight w has a finite set of slowly oscillating singularities.  相似文献

We prove a statement on the boundedness of a certain class of singular type operators in the weighted spaces with variable exponent p(x) and a power type weight w, from which we derive the boundedness of pseudodifferential operators of H?rmander class S 0 1,0 in such spaces. This gives us a possibility to obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for pseudodifferential operators of the class OPS m 1,0 with symbols slowly oscillating at infinity, to be Fredholm within the frameworks of weighted Sobolev spaces with constant smoothness s, variable p(·)-exponent, and exponential weights w. In this work, we develop L p boundedness theory for pseudodifferential operators with rough (not even continuous in general) symbols in the x variable. Moreover, the B(L p ) operator norms are estimated explicitly in terms of scale invariant quantities involving the symbols. All the estimates are shown to be sharp with respect to the required smoothness in the ξ variable. As a corollary, we obtain L p bounds for (smoothed out versions of) the maximal directional Hilbert transform and the Carleson operator.  相似文献

In this paper we consider pseudodifferential operators associated with symbols satisfying estimates of product type, and give some sufficient conditions for the operators to be bounded on BESOV spaces and on TRIEBEL —LIZORKIN spaces of product type corresponding to the above estimates. The paper is devoted to study of singular integral operators with fixed singularities at endpoints of contours on weighted Lebesgue spaces with general Muckenhoupt weights. Compactness of certain integral operators with fixed singularities is established. The membership of singular integral operators with fixed singularities to Banach algebras of singular integral operators on weighted Lebesgue spaces with slowly oscillating Muckenhoupt weights is proved on the basis of Balakrishnans formula from the theory of strongly continuous semi-groups of closed linear operators. Symbol calculus for such operators, Fredholm criteria and index formulas are obtained.  相似文献

The boundedness and compactness of weighted composition operators on the Hardy space H2{{\mathcal H}^2} of the unit disc is analysed. Particular reference is made to the case when the self-map of the disc is an inner function. Schatten-class membership is also considered; as a result, stronger forms of the two main results of a recent paper of Gunatillake are derived. Finally, weighted composition operators on weighted Bergman spaces A2a(\mathbbD){\mathcal{A}^2_\alpha(\mathbb{D})} are considered, and the results of Harper and Smith, linking their properties to those of Carleson embeddings, are extended to this situation.  相似文献

We consider state-space dependent continuous negative definite functions and use their associated pseudodifferential operators to construct Feller semigroups. Our method works with “rough” symbols ${p(x,\xi),\,{\rm i.e.}\,\xi \mapsto p(x,\xi)}We consider state-space dependent continuous negative definite functions and use their associated pseudodifferential operators to construct Feller semigroups. Our method works with “rough” symbols p(x,x), i.e. x? p(x,x){p(x,\xi),\,{\rm i.e.}\,\xi \mapsto p(x,\xi)} only needs to be continuous. The main part of this work concerns the development of an asymptotic expansion formula for the composition of two pseudodifferential operators with rough negative definite symbols. This presents an improvement over other symbolic calculi that typically require the symbols to be smooth. As an application we show how to adapt existing techniques to construct and approximate Feller semigroups to the case of rough symbols.  相似文献

Let \({\mathcal B}_{p,w}\) be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators acting on the weighted Lebesgue space \(L^p(\mathbb {R},w)\), where \(p\in (1,\infty )\) and w is a Muckenhoupt weight. We study the Banach subalgebra \(\mathfrak {A}_{p,w}\) of \({\mathcal B}_{p,w}\) generated by all multiplication operators aI (\(a\in \mathrm{PSO}^\diamond \)) and all convolution operators \(W^0(b)\) (\(b\in \mathrm{PSO}_{p,w}^\diamond \)), where \(\mathrm{PSO}^\diamond \subset L^\infty (\mathbb {R})\) and \(\mathrm{PSO}_{p,w}^\diamond \subset M_{p,w}\) are algebras of piecewise slowly oscillating functions that admit piecewise slowly oscillating discontinuities at arbitrary points of \(\mathbb {R}\cup \{\infty \}\), and \(M_{p,w}\) is the Banach algebra of Fourier multipliers on \(L^p(\mathbb {R},w)\). For any Muckenhoupt weight w, we study the Fredholmness in the Banach algebra \({\mathcal Z}_{p,w}\subset \mathfrak {A}_{p,w}\) generated by the operators \(aW^0(b)\) with slowly oscillating data \(a\in \mathrm{SO}^\diamond \) and \(b\in \mathrm{SO}^\diamond _{p,w}\). Then, under some condition on the weight w, we complete constructing a Fredholm symbol calculus for the Banach algebra \(\mathfrak {A}_{p,w}\) in comparison with Karlovich and Loreto Hernández (Integr. Equations Oper. Theory 74:377–415, 2012) and Karlovich and Loreto Hernández (Integr. Equations Oper. Theory 75:49–86, 2013) and establish a Fredholm criterion for the operators \(A\in \mathfrak {A}_{p,w}\) in terms of their symbols. A new approach to determine local spectra is found.  相似文献

A class of zero order pseudodifferential operators on a closed manifold is considered, with symbols admitting a first kind discontinuity at a codimension one submanifold. A condition is found for such operators to be Fredholm. The formula for the index of such operators is derived, expressed in the topological terms. Let G be a connected, linear algebraic group defined over ?, acting regularly on a finite dimensional vector space V over ? with ?-structure V ?. Assume that V possesses a Zariski-dense orbit, so that (G, ?, V) becomes a prehomogeneous vector space over ?. We consider the left regular representation π of the group of ?-rational points G ? on the Banach space C0(V ?) of continuous functions on V ? vanishing at infinity, and study the convolution operators π(f), where f is a rapidly decreasing function on the identity component of G ?. Denote the complement of the dense orbit by S, and put S ? = S ∩ V ?. It turns out that, on V ? ? S ?, π(f) is a smooth operator. If S ? = {0}, the restriction of the Schwartz kernel of π(f) to the diagonal defines a homogeneous distribution on V ? ? {0}. Its nonunique extension to V ? can then be regarded as a trace of π(f). If G is reductive, and S and S ? are irreducible hypersurfaces, π(f) corresponds, on each connected component of V ? ? S ?, to a totally characteristic pseudodifferential operator. In this case, the restriction of the Schwartz kernel of π(f) to the diagonal defines a distribution on V ? ? S ? given by some power |p(m)| s of a relative invariant p(m) of (G, ?, V) and, as a consequence of the Fundamental Theorem of Prehomogeneous Vector Spaces, its extension to V ?, and the complex s-plane, satisfies functional equations similar to those for local zeta functions.
