Brownian motors and self-phoretic microswimmers are two typical micromotors, for which thermal fluctuations play different roles. Brownian motors utilize thermal noise to acquire unidirectional motion, while thermal fluctuations randomize the self-propulsion of self-phoretic microswimmers. Here we perform mesoscale simulations to study a composite micromotor composed of a self-thermophoretic Janus particle under a time-modulated external ratchet potential. The composite motor exhibits a unidirectional transport, whose direction can be reversed by tuning the modulation frequency of the external potential. The maximum transport capability is close to the superposition of the drift speed of the pure Brownian motor and the self-propelling speed of the pure self-thermophoretic particle. Moreover, the hydrodynamic effect influences the orientation of the Janus particle in the ratched potential, hence also the performance of the composite motor. Our work thus provides an enlightening attempt to actively exploit inevitable thermal fluctuations in the implementation of the self-phoretic microswimmers.  相似文献

Using a photodeformable polymer material, liquid-crystalline polymer incorporated with azobenzene moieties, a spoke-type micromotor is designed, which could convert light energy directly into mechanical work. It consists of four driving belts, whose mechanical model is established and the driving moment of the micromotor upon irradiation with UV light and without photoirradiation is calculated, respectively. According to the calculated driving moment, the UV light and the visible light are arranged to irradiate from parallel and opposite direction of the micromotor simultaneously, which convert the bending deflection of the photodeformable polymer material belts to continuous rotation of the micromotor. As light is a green energy source that can be controlled remotely, instantly and without the aid of electric wires, the photodeformable polymer material has great potential to be utilized in micro-actuator and other relative applications.  相似文献

为了实现阵列天线波束高效控制和系统小型化, 实现多轴微型直流伺服系统达到高速、并行控制, 根据Nios Ⅱ处理器的Avalon总线规范, 利用Verilog硬件描述语言, 设计了一种基于现场可编程逻辑门阵列(FPGA)的微型直流电机控制器IP核。该控制器采用了有限状态机的方法, 分多模块实现硬件控制功能。针对微型直流电机特性, 采用了比例-积分-微分(PID)算法、分段控制及启停监测等控制策略。最后利用软件Quartus Ⅱ及DE0开发板进行了仿真和实验验证, 实验表明, 该控制器具有响应速度快、定位精度高、可靠性高、体积小等特点, 可以可靠地对各路微型直流电机进行独立控制, 且控制性能良好, 能够实现天线单元快速、准确的相位控制。  相似文献

Charged particle beam trajectories in a simple electromagnetic quadrupole-octupole lens are numerically calculated based on analytical expressions for the +potential distribution. Locations of the lens foci in the image space are determined over a wide range of initial conditions. Relationships between the electrostatic and magnetic lens components that provide correction for chromatic aberrations of off-axis beams, which are different from classical beams, are obtained. Phase contours at the lens exit are calculated for beams occupying the major part of the aperture, and conditions for transforming the phase contour with minimal distortions are found.  相似文献

From the beginning of the 20th century, researchers have been interested in surface electromagnetic waves guided by planar interfaces of dissimilar mediums. Much initial research on surface‐plasmon waves and surface‐plasmon‐polariton waves stemmed from theoretical curiosity, but the development of new experimental techniques propelled commercial exploitation for optical sensors of chemical and biological species. Additional surface waves called Dyakonov waves, Tamm waves, and Dyakonov–Tamm waves have emerged during the last 25 years. Experimental observation of Dyakonov waves was reported only in 2009, but the rapid development of experimental apparatus during the 1990s suggests that theoretical predictions will soon be evaluated experimentally, leading to further development of optical detection systems and optical circuitry.  相似文献

为解决准横电磁(TEM)模波导工作带宽较窄的问题,提出采用金属贴片电磁带隙(EBG)结构在金属波导中创建准TEM波.通过理论分析和数值计算,研究金属贴片EBG结构创建准TEM波导对展宽带宽、改善传输特性和增强准TEM波电场分布均匀性的作用.模拟结果表明,在频率14 GHz附近,金属贴片EBG将TE10模成功转换成准TEM模,转换带宽达到1.7 GHz,且在波导横截面83.9%的面积上电场分布均匀性达到84.7%. 关键词: 电磁带隙 金属贴片电磁带隙结构 磁导体 准横电磁模波导  相似文献

Summary A new equipment able to reveal the electric component of electromagnetic emission and suitable for underground deployment has been made. The system enables to measure the absolute value of integrated voltage of signals. Data are recorded by a solid-state memory circuit. The system is performed as a plug-in modular design and it can be also used in diverse fields of application.
Riassunto è stata realizzata una nuova strumentazione per la rivelazione della componente elettrica delle emissioni elettromagnetiche in laboratori sotterranei. Il sistema è in grado di misurare i valori assoluti della tensione integrata dei segnali. I dati vengono registrati su un circuito di memoria a stato solido. Il sistema è stato realizzato con caratteristiche modulari e può essere utilizzato anche in altri campi di applicazione.

Резюме Сконструировано новое оборудование для регистрации электрической компоненты электромагнитных излучений в подземных лабораториях. Система позволяет измерять абсолютную величину суммарного напряжения сигналов. Данные регистрируются в схеме с твердотельной памятью. Предложенная система собрана на специальных сменных модулях и может быть использована для различным прикладных задач.

The following theorem is proven: Every lepton with the mass m, electric charge q and spin J belonging to any representation of a non-abelian gauge group must have the magnetic moment μ = qJm?1, electric mean squared radius r2 = qJ(J + 1)m?2 and electric quadrupole moment Q = qJ(2J ? 1)m?2 in the first order of the electromagnetic effects in an arbitrary renormalizable theory with the non-abelian gauge group symmetry which permits the validity of the Gerasimow-Drell-Hearn and Cabibbo-Radicati sum rules. The formula for the magnetic moment applies also for an abelian symmetry and remains valid even if the gauge symmetry is spontaneously broken.  相似文献

The most general expression of electromagnetic theory is examined in the light of (1) Faraday's interpretation of the field as a potentiality for the force of charged matter to act upon a test body, and (2) Einstein's view of the field equations as an example of a covariant expression of special relativity. Faraday's original interpretation, in which all physical variables must be expressible as nonsingular fields, implies a particular generalization of the standard forms of the conservation equations and leads to a removal of the problem of the infinite self-energy of point sources. A further generalization of the mathematical expression of electromagnetism occurs when it is asserted that the form of the laws must be compatible with the symmetry requirements of the irreducible representations of the Poincaré group. This yields a factorization of the vector field equations, giving a set of two uncoupled two-component spinor equations. It is shown that the latter lead to twice as many conservation equations for electromagnetism, compared with the vector formalism, thus making extra predictions that are not made in the latter formalism. It is shown that the extra conservation equations reveal themselves only when incorporating the requirements of Faraday's interpretation of the field solutions.  相似文献

We set up a correspondence between solutions of the Yang–Mills equations on R×S3 and in Minkowski spacetime via de Sitter space. Some known Abelian and non-Abelian exact solutions are rederived. For the Maxwell case we present a straightforward algorithm to generate an infinite number of explicit solutions, with fields and potentials in Minkowski coordinates given by rational functions of increasing complexity. 提出一种新时域交替隐式有限差分(ADI-FDTD)算法格式. 传统ADI-FDTD算法的 场量步进方程涉及周围若干网格的较多场量,导致两个区域的步进方程处理较困难:一个是 邻近完全匹配层(PML)和散射场交界区,另一个是邻近连接边界区. 特别是后者,考虑入射 波影响需对场量所在区域判断,根据不同情况对原有方程进行修正,一维和二维散射问题 相对简单,可三维问题修正式有数十种之多而几乎无法完成. 本方法基于分裂场形式的ADI- FDTD技术,使得散射场区和PML吸收层区的表达形式完全一致,从而忽略两者差别.另 关键词: 时域交替隐式有限差分算法 电磁散射  相似文献

It is shown that Maxwell equations in vacuum derive from an underlying topological structure given by a scalar field which represents a map S 3×RS 2 and determines the electromagnetic field through a certain transformation, which also linearizes the highly nonlinear field equations to the Maxwell equations. As a consequence, Maxwell equations in vacuum have topological solutions, characterized by a Hopf index equal to the linking number of any pair of magnetic lines. This allows the classification of the electromagnetic fields into homotopy classes, labeled by the value of the helicity. Although the model makes use of only c-number fields, the helicity always verifies A·Bd3 r=n, n being an integer and an action constant, which necessarily appears in the theory, because of reasons of dimensionality.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the fast solution of high-frequency electromagnetic scattering problems using the boundary integral formulation. We extend the O(N log N) directional multilevel algorithm previously proposed for the acoustic scattering case to the vector electromagnetic case. We also detail how to incorporate the curl operator of the magnetic field integral equation into the algorithm. When combined with a standard iterative method, this results in an almost linear complexity solver for the combined field integral equations. In addition, the butterfly algorithm is utilized to compute the far field pattern and radar cross section with O(N log N) complexity.  相似文献

The field equations of general relativity are solved to describe a gravitational field due to a rotating homogeneous fluid in the presence of a Maxwellian source-free electromagnetic field. We design an anisotropic ultrathin metamaterial to allow perfect transmissions of electromagnetic (EM) waves for two incident polarizations within a common frequency interval. The transparencies are governed by different mechanisms, resulting in significant differences in transmission phase changes for two polarizations. The system can thus manipulate EM wave polarizations efficiently in transmission geometry, including polarization conversion and rotation. Microwave experiments performed on realistic samples are in excellent agreement with numerical simulations.  相似文献
