Given a suitable ordering of the positive root system associated with a semisimple Lie algebra,there exists a natural correspondence between Verma modules and related polynomial algebras. With this, the Lie algebra action on a Verma module can be interpreted as a differential operator action on polynomials, and thus on the corresponding truncated formal power series. We prove that the space of truncated formal power series gives a differential-operator representation of the Weyl group W. We also introduce a system of partial differential equations to investigate singular vectors in the Verma module. It is shown that the solution space of the system in the space of truncated formal power series is the span of {w(1) | w ∈ W }. Those w(1) that are polynomials correspond to singular vectors in the Verma module. This elementary approach by partial differential equations also gives a new proof of the well-known BGG-Verma theorem.  相似文献

Let W(n) be the Witt Lie superalgebra over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic p>2. We study the representations of W(n),n≥3 with p-character of height one. We prove that the Kac module always has a unique simple quotient and all simple modules are given in this way. In fact, most Kac modules are simple. We will determine the sufficient and necessary conditions such that the Kac module is simple. Moreover, composition factors of each Kac module can be determined. It is proved that the number of composition factors in each Kac module is at most 2.  相似文献

We investigate Lie bialgebra structures on the derivation Lie algebra over the quantum torus. It is proved that, for the derivation Lie algebra W over a rank 2 quantum torus, all Lie bialgebra structures on W are the coboundary triangular Lie bialgebras. As a by-product, it is also proved that the first cohomology group H 1(W, W ? W) is trivial.  相似文献

We consider an action of a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H on a PI-algebra. We prove that an H-semiprime H-module algebra A has a Frobenius artinian classical ring of quotients Q, provided that A has a finite set of H-prime ideals with zero intersection. The ring of quotients Q is an H-semisimple H-module algebra and a finitely generated module over the subalgebra of central invariants. Moreover, if algebra A is a projective module of constant rank over its center, then A is integral over its subalgebra of central invariants.  相似文献

Given a finite-dimensional associative commutative algebra A over a field F, we define the structure of a Lie algebra using a nonzero derivation D of A. We investigate the relationship between the Gröbner-Shirshov bases in free associative algebras, free left modules and “double-free” left modules (that is, free modules over a free algebra). We first give Chibrikov’s Composition-Diamond lemma for modules and then we show that Kang-Lee’s Composition-Diamond lemma follows from it. We give the Gröbner-Shirshov bases for the following modules: the highest weight module over a Lie algebra sl 2, the Verma module over a Kac-Moody algebra, the Verma module over the Lie algebra of coefficients of a free conformal algebra, and a universal enveloping module for a Sabinin algebra. As applications, we also obtain linear bases for the above modules.  相似文献

For any module V over the two-dimensional non-abelian Lie algebra b and scalar α ∈ C, we define a class of weight modules F α (V) with zero central charge over the affine Lie algebra A 1 (1) . These weight modules have infinitedimensional weight spaces if and only if V is infinite dimensional. In this paper, we will determine necessary and sufficient conditions for these modules F α(V) to be irreducible. In this way, we obtain a lot of irreducible weight A 1 (1) -modules with infinite-dimensional weight spaces.  相似文献

Let g be the finite dimensional simple Lie algebra of type An, and let U? = U q (g,Λ) and U = U q (g,Q) be the quantum groups defined over the weight lattice and over the root lattice, respectively. In this paper, we find two algebraically independent central elements in U? for all n ≥ 2 and give an explicit formula of the Casimir elements for the quantum group U? = U q (g,Λ), which corresponds to the Casimir element of the enveloping algebra U(g). Moreover, for n = 2 we give explicitly generators of the center subalgebras of the quantum groups U? = U q (g,Λ) and U = U q (g,Q).  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to study the graded limits of minimal affinizations over the quantum loop algebra of type G 2. We show that the graded limits are isomorphic to multiple generalizations of Demazure modules, and obtain defining relations of them. As an application, we obtain a polyhedral multiplicity formula for the decomposition of minimal affinizations of type G 2 as a \(U_{q}(\mathfrak {g})\)-module, by showing the corresponding formula for the graded limits. As another application, we prove a character formula of the least affinizations of generic parabolic Verma modules of type G 2 conjectured by Mukhin and Young.  相似文献

We extend several classical results in the theory of invariants of finite groups to the case of action of a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H on an algebra satisfying a polynomial identity. In particular, we prove that an H-module algebra A over an algebraically closed field k is integral over the subalgebra of invariants, if H is a semisimple and cosemisimple Hopf algebra. We show that for char k > 0, the algebra Z\({\left( A \right)^{{H_0}}}\) is integral over the subalgebra of central invariants Z(A)H, where Z(A) is the center of algebra A, H0 is the coradical of H. This result allowed us to prove that the algebra A is integral over the subalgebra Z(A)H in some special case. We also construct a counterexample to the integrality of the algebra \({A^{{H_0}}}\) over the subalgebra of invariants AH for a pointed Hopf algebra over a field of non-zero characteristic.  相似文献

The paper studies the additive structure of the algebra F(7), i.e., a relatively free associative countably generated algebra with the identity [x1,..., x7] = 0 over an infinite field of characteristic ≠ 2, 3. First, the space of proper multilinear polynomials in this algebra is investigated. As an application, estimates for the codimensions cn = dimFn(7) are obtained, where Fn(7) stands for the subspace of multilinear polynomials of degree n in the algebra F(7).  相似文献

For an amenable inverse semigroup S with the set of idempotents E and a minimal idempotent, we explicitly construct a contractive and positive module operator virtual diagonal on the Fourier algebra A(S), as a completely contractive Banach algebra and operator module over \(\ell ^1(E)\). This generalizes a well known result of Zhong-Jin Ruan on operator amenability of the Fourier algebra of a (discrete) group Ruan (Am J Math 117:1449–1474, 1995).  相似文献

We characterize A-linear symmetric and contraction module operator semigroup{Tt}t∈R+L(l2(A)),where A is a finite-dimensional C-algebra,and L(l2(A))is the C-algebra of all adjointable module maps on l2(A).Next,we introduce the concept of operator-valued quadratic forms,and give a one to one correspondence between the set of non-positive definite self-adjoint regular module operators on l2(A)and the set of non-negative densely defined A-valued quadratic forms.In the end,we obtain that a real and strongly continuous symmetric semigroup{Tt}t∈R+L(l2(A))being Markovian if and only if the associated closed densely defined A-valued quadratic form is a Dirichlet form.  相似文献

Let A be a standard Koszul standardly stratified algebra and X an A-module. The paper investigates conditions which imply that the module Ext* A (X) over the Yoneda extension algebra A* is filtered by standard modules. In particular, we prove that the Yoneda extension algebra of A is also standardly stratified. We prove that each 2-local derivation from the algebra Mn(A ) (n > 2) into its bimodule Mn(M) is a derivation, where A is a unital Banach algebra and M is a unital A -bimodule such that each Jordan derivation from A into M is an inner derivation, and that each 2-local derivation on a C*-algebra with a faithful traceable representation is a derivation. We study the operator algebra associated with a self-mapping ? on a countable set X which can be represented as a directed graph. The algebra is generated by the family of partial isometries acting on the corresponding l2(X). We study the structure of involutive semigroup multiplicatively generated by the family of partial isometries. We formulate the criterion when the algebra is irreducible on the Hilbert space. We consider the concrete examples of operator algebras. In particular, we give the examples of nonisomorphic C*-algebras, which are the extensions by compact operators of the algebra of continuous functions on the unit circle.  相似文献
