Nonlinear wave processes in shockloaded elastoplastic materials are modeled. A comparison of the results obtained with experimental data and numerical solutions of exact systems of dynamic equations shows that the model equations proposed qualitatively describe the stressdistribution evolution in both the elasticflow and plasticflow regions and can be used to solve one and twodimensional problems of pulsed deformation and fracture of elastoplastic media.  相似文献

In this paper, the macroscopic dispersion resulting from one and twodimensional flows through a semiconfined aquifer with spatially variable hydraulic conductivity K which is represented by a stationary (statistically homogeneous) random process is analyzed using the spectral representation technique. Stochastic fluctuation equations of the steady flow and solute transport are solved to construct the macroscopic dispersive flux and evaluate the resulting macrodispersivity tensor in terms of the leakage factor and input covariances describing the hydraulic conductivity in a semiconfined aquifer bounded by a leaky layer above and an impervious stratum below. The macrodispersivity tensor is studied using some convenient forms of the log hydraulic conductivity process. The sensitivity of the resulting macrodispersivity to the input covariances is discussed along with the influence of the leakage factor for both one and twodimensional flows. It is found that the longitudinal macrodispersivities are increased due to the presence of leakage, while the transverse macrodispersivities are reduced due to leakage.  相似文献

A mathematical model of mechanics of a twovelocity twotemperature mixture of gases is developed. Based on this model, evolution of the mixing layer of two gases with different densities under the action of shock and compression waves is considered by methods of mathematical simulation in the onedimensional unsteady approximation. In the asymptotic approximation of the full model, a solution of an initialboundary problem is obtained, which describes the formation of a diffusion layer between two gases. Problems of interaction of shock and compression waves with the diffusion layer are solved numerically in the full formulation. It is shown that the layer is compressed as the shock wave traverses it; the magnitude of compression depends on shockwave intensity. As the shock wave passes from the heavy gas to the light gas, the mixing layer becomes overcompressed and expands after shockwave transition. The wave pattern of the flow is described in detail. The calculated evolution of the mixinglayer width is in good agreement with experimental data.  相似文献

An isothermal flow of a twophase multicomponent mixture through a smalldiameter capillary tube is examined by the densityfunctional method. For low ratios of the characteristic radius of the capillary to its length, a general form of the dominating term in the asymptotic solution is found. An improved version of the law of mixture transfer is obtained. The form of possible corrections to the Darcy law for the filtration rates of the phases is discussed.  相似文献

The heattransfer processes in a supersonic spatial flow around a spherically blunted cone with allowance for heat overflow along the longitudinal and circumferential coordinates and injection of a coolant gas are studied numerically. The prospects of using highly heatconducting materials and injection of a coolant gas for reduction of the maximum temperatures at the body surface are demonstrated. The solutions of the direct and inverse problems in one, two, and threedimensional formulations for different shell materials are compared. The error of the thinwall method in determining the heat flux on the heatloaded boundary of the body is estimated.  相似文献

A semiempirical method of determining the stabilization time for a quasisteady mode of gas exhaustion from a receiver after sudden opening of the nozzle and the time evolution of the real flow rate at the stage of the transitional process are considered. The numerical solution of the equations of exhaustion gas dynamics in a twodimensional formulation and the results of model experiments demonstrated that the method can be used to estimate the conditions of applicability of the quasisteadiness hypothesis and to determine the discharge coefficient of the nozzle with controlled accuracy.  相似文献

Equilibrium and bicontinuum nonequilibrium formulations of the advection–dispersion equation (ADE) have been widely used to describe subsurface solute transport. The Green's Function Method (GFM) is particularly attractive to solve the ADE because of its flexibility to deal with arbitrary initial and boundary conditions, and its relative simplicity to formulate solutions for multidimensional problems. The Green's functions that are presented can be used for a wide range of problems involving equilibrium and nonequilibrium transport in semiinfinite and infinite media. The GFM is applied to analytically model multidimensional transport from persistent solute sources typical of nonaqueous phase liquids (NAPLs). Specific solutions are derived for transport from a rectangular source (parallel to the flow direction) of persistent contamination using first, second, or thirdtype boundary or source input conditions. Away from the source, the first and thirdtype condition cannot be expected to represent the exact surface condition. The secondtype condition has the disadvantage that the diffusive flux from the source needs to be specified a priori. Near the source, the thirdtype condition appears most suitable to model NAPL dissolution into the medium. The solute flux from the pool, and hence the concentration in the medium, depends strongly on the mass transfer coefficient. For all conditions, the concentration profiles indicate that nonequilibrium conditions tend to reduce the maximum solute concentration and the total amount of solute that enters the porous medium from the source. On the other hand, during nonequilibrium transport the solute may spread over a larger area of the medium compared to equilibrium transport.  相似文献

Mixed formulations of bending problems for homogeneous plates (beams) are proposed, whose essence is that the deformation of a plate (beam) near its fixed boundary is described by the threedimensional elasticity equations, and the remaining part by the conventional equations of plate (beam) bending. At the interface between these regions, the solutions of these equations are joined. The mixed formulation allows one to describe the threedimensional stress state in the neighborhood of the fixed boundaries of plates (beams) and take into account the complex nature of the fixing conditions. Finiteelement implementation is more efficient for the mixed formulations of plate (beam) bending problems than for the wellknown threedimensional formulations.  相似文献

The influence of ultrasoundabsorbing coatings on stability of hypersonic boundary layers is considered. Two types of coatings were used in experiments: feltmetal with a random porous microstructure and a sheet perforated by blind cylindrical microchannels. The experiments were performed in a wind tunnel at a Mach number M = 5.95 on sharp cones with a 7° apex halfangle. Evolution of natural disturbances and artificially induced wave packets in the boundary layer was studied with the help of hotwire anemometry. Spatial characteristics of artificial disturbances were obtained. It is demonstrated that such coatings exert a stabilizing effect on secondmode disturbances.  相似文献

We use porenetwork simulations to study the dependence of the critical gas saturation in solutiongas drive processes on the geometric parameters of the porous medium. We show that for a variety of growth regimes (including global and local percolation, instantaneous and sequential nucleation, and masstransfer driven processes), the critical gas saturation, Sgc, follows a powerlaw scaling with the final nucleation fraction (fraction of sites activated), fq. For 3D processes, this relation reads Sgcfq0.16, indicating a sensitive dependence of Sgc to fq at very small values of fq.  相似文献

A nonsimilar boundary layer analysis is presented for the problem of mixed convection in powerlaw type nonNewtonian fluids along a vertical plate with powerlaw wall temperature distribution. The mixed convection regime is divided into two regions, namely,the forced convection dominated regime and the free convection dominated regime. The two solutions are matched. Numerical results are presented for the details of the velocity and temperature fields. A discussion is provided for the effect of viscosity index on the surface heat transfer rate.  相似文献

The flow structure behind wire grids is studied for flows with a low subsonic velocity, and the effect of grids on the boundarylayer flow structure is considered. It is shown that the meanvelocity inhomogeneity induced by the grid does not disappear until a distance of 925 calibers downstream of the grid is reached. Liquidcrystal thermography combined with hotwire measurements made it possible to find the source of steady largescale streamwise vortex structures in the boundary layer on a wedge and on an airfoil and to determine the parameters of these structures.  相似文献

Twolayer miscible flow above an uneven bottom is considered. A mathematical model in the shallowwater approximation is constructed for the development of a turbulent layer between homogeneous layers of different density in a twolayer channel flow over a local obstacle. This paper gives results from experimental studies of the effect of electricpulse parameters on the development of current instability and disruption of shapedcharge jets. A simple physical model for the development of current instability and the decrease in the cavern depth in the target is proposed. Notations are introduced and analytical expressions are obtained for the critical current (critical linear current density) and the ideal shape of the current pulse required for the disruption of shapedcharge jets. It is shown that the estimate of the final cavern depths in steel target for the proposed model is in fairly good agreement with both experimental values of cavern depths in targets and with the results of numerical calculations using quasitwodimensional unsteady models of MHD instability and volume disruption.  相似文献

The paper studies simple waves of the shallowwater equations describing threedimensional wave motions of a rotational liquid in a freeboundary layer. Simple wave equations are derived for the general case. The existence of unsteady or steady simple waves adjacent continuously to a given steady shear flow along a characteristic surface is proved. Exact solutions of the equations describing steady simple waves were found. These solutions can be treated as extension of Prandtl–Mayer waves for sheared flows. For shearless flows, a general solution of the system of equations describing unsteady spatial simple waves was found.  相似文献

Foamy oil flow is a term coined to describe a form of twophase oilgas flow that appears to occur during solution gas drive in some heavy oil reservoirs and does not fit the classical models of twophase flow. Most of the evidence supporting the presence of this unusual flow mechanism is circumstantial and comes from attempts to explain much higher than expected well productivity and primary recovery factors in several heavy oil reservoirs. This paper is a review of the available literature on foamy oil flow in primary production of heavy oils under solution gas drive.The mechanisms operating in solution gas drive in heavy oil reservoirs are briefly discussed. The issues related to supersaturation in oil phase, bubble nucleation, critical gas saturation, and relative permeability are discussed. The possible role of rate processes related to the release of solution gas and the formation of a segregated gas phase is reviewed. The porescale mechanisms involved in creation and propagation of dispersed gas flow are discussed. Several published mathematical models of foamy solution gas drive are reviewed with focus on their limitations.The review shows that the theoretical and experimental investigations of foamy oil flow are still in early stages. Although the occurrence of foamy oil flow has been verified in laboratory experiments, its existence at the reservoir scale has not been confirmed. The theoretical understanding of the mechanisms underlying foamy oil flow remains poor.  相似文献
