We investigate an mth-order discrete problem with additional conditions, described by m linearly independent linear functionals. We find the solution to this problem and present a formula and the existence condition of Green??s function if the general solution of a homogeneous equation is known. We obtain a relation between Green??s functions of two nonhomogeneous problems. It allows us to find Green??s function for the same equation, but with different additional conditions. The obtained results are applied to problems with nonlocal boundary conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate Green’s functions for various stationary problems with nonlocal boundary conditions. We express the Green’s function per Green’s function for a problem with classical boundary conditions. This property is illustrated by various examples. Properties of Green’s functions with nonlocal boundary conditions are compared with those for classical problems. We study the arithmetic analogue of maximal functions on diagonal hypersurfaces. This paper is a natural step following the papers of [13], [14] and [16]. We combine more precise knowledge of oscillatory integrals and exponential sums to generalize the asymptotic formula in Waring’s problem to an approximation formula for the Fourier transform of the solution set of lattice points on hypersurfaces arising in Waring’s problem and apply this result to arithmetic maximal functions and ergodic averages. In sufficiently large dimensions, the approximation formula, ? 2-maximal theorems and ergodic theorems were previously known. Our contribution is in reducing the dimensional constraint in the approximation formula using recent bounds of Wooley, and improving the range of ? p spaces in the maximal and ergodic theorems. We also conjecture the expected range of spaces.  相似文献

Rational functions orthogonal on the unit circle are considered beginning with their recurrence formulas. Various summability conditions are imposed on the recurrence coefficients and the asymptotics of the solutions are studied and the orthogonality measure is recovered. We briefly review the functional formulation of the perturbation theory for various Green’s functions in quantum field theory. In particular, we discuss the contour-ordered representation of Green’s functions at a finite temperature. We show that the perturbation expansion of time-dependent Green’s functions at a finite temperature can be constructed using the standard Wick rules in the functional form without introducing complex time and evolution backward in time. We discuss the factorization problem for the corresponding functional integral. We construct the Green’s functions of the solution of stochastic differential equations in the Schwinger-Keldysh form with a functional-integral representation with explicitly intertwined physical and auxiliary fields.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a generalized discrete Green’s function that describes the general least squares solution of every second-order discrete problem with two nonlocal conditions. In this article, we establish the non-negativity of Green’s functions for a class of elliptic differential operators on closed, Riemannian manifolds. The method used is the calculus of variations with a unilateral constraint. Consequences of this result are then explored, with a maximum principle-type result established for a broad class of semi-linear elliptic PDE as a result. Finally, a result regarding the positivity of the principal eigenfunction of an operator in this class is proven as well.  相似文献

An approach to the construction of high-order accurate monotone difference schemes for solving gasdynamic problems by Godunov’s method with antidiffusion is proposed. Godunov’s theorem on monotone schemes is used to construct a new antidiffusion flux limiter in high-order accurate difference schemes as applied to linear advection equations with constant coefficients. The efficiency of the approach is demonstrated by solving linear advection equations with constant coefficients and one-dimensional gasdynamic equations.  相似文献

We solve the problem of the propagation of a charged quantum particle in a two-dimensional plane embedded in the three-dimensional coordinate space. We consider scattering of this particle by a stable Coulomb center situated in the same plane. We study the wave function of this particle, its Green’s function, and all radial components of these functions. We derive uniform majorant bounds on absolute values of these functions and find the wave function representation in terms of regular radial Coulomb functions and the scattering amplitude representation via partial phases. We obtain integral representations of the Greens’s function and all its radial components.  相似文献

We consider the model of an equilibrium Fermi system of arbitrary-spin particles with the density-densitytype interaction. Based on the microscopic Hamiltonian in the formalism of temperature Green’s functions, we find critical modes and construct an effective action describing a neighborhood of the phase transition point. A renormalization group analysis of the obtained model leads to the standard critical behavior indices for spin-1/2 fermions but shows that in the system of higher-spin fermions, a first-order phase transition occurs whose temperature exceeds the standard estimates for the temperature of a second-order phase transition.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to demonstrate that the variational iteration method “VIM” is in many instances a version of fixed point iteration methods such as Picard’s scheme. In a wide range of problems, the correction functional resulting from the VIM can be interpreted and/or formulated from well-known fixed point strategies using Green’s functions. A number of examples are included to assert the validity of our claim. The test problems include first and higher order initial value problems.  相似文献

We consider the formalism of temperature Green’s functions to study the electronic properties of a semiinfinite two-dimensional graphene lattice at a given temperature. Under most general assumptions about the graphene boundary structure, we calculate the propagator in the corresponding diagram technique. The obtained propagator survives limit transitions between physically different states of the system boundary, i.e., a zig-zag edge and a boundary condition in the “infinite mass” approximation, and also correctly describes the problem where the electron–hole symmetry is violated because of the presence of an external potential applied to the graphene boundary. We illustrate the use of the propagator, its analytic properties, and specific features of calculating with it in the example of determining the dependence of the electron density on the distance to the system boundary.  相似文献

We consider two approaches to the calculation of correlation functions for a system of particles with direct pair interaction. The first is based on a chain of equations that determines a Boltzmann-type kinetic equation; the second is based on a chain of molecular hydrodynamic equations. We demonstrate that the two approaches are equivalent in the sense that they completely describe the system under consideration. We discuss the advantages of the approach based on the molecular hydrodynamic equations.
