"Iron(II) salt + 4,4',4'-trichloro-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine" is an effective catalyst for epoxidation and aziridination of alkenes and intramolecular amidation of sulfamate esters. The epoxidation of allylic-substituted cycloalkenes achieved excellent diastereoselectivities up to 90%. ESI-MS results supported the formation of iron-oxo and -imido intermediates. Derivitization of Cl 3terpy to O-PEG-OCH 3-Cl 2terpy renders the terpyridine unit to be recyclable, and the "iron(II) salt + 4,4'-dichloro-4'- O-PEG-OCH 3-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine" protocol can be reused without a significant loss of catalytic activity in the alkene epoxidation.  相似文献

Three novel Zn(II) complexes containing either 2,2',2"-tripyridylamine (2,2',2"-tpa) or 2,2',3"-tripyridylamine (2,2',3"-tpa) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Compound 1, Zn(2,2',2"-tpa)Cl2, has a tetrahedral geometry while compounds 2, Zn(2,2',2"-tpa)2(O2CCF3)2, and 3, Zn(2,2',3"-tpa)4(O2CCF3)2, have an octahedral geometry. The 2,2',2"-tpa ligand in 1 and 2 functions as a bidentate ligand, chelating to the zinc center, while the 2,2",3"-tpa ligand in 3 functions as a terminal ligand, binding to the zinc center through the 3-pyridyl nitrogen atom. All three compounds emit a blue color in solution and in the solid state. The emission maxima for the three compounds in solution are at lambda = 422, 426, and 432 nm, respectively. The blue luminescence of the complexes is due to a pi *-->pi transition of the tpa ligand as established by an ab initio calculation on the free ligand 2,2',2"-tpa and complex 1. Compounds 1 and 2 are fluxional in solution owing to an exchange process between the coordinate and noncoordinate 2-pyridyl rings of the 2,2',2"-tpa ligand. Compound 2 is also fluxional owing to a cis-trans isomerization process, as determined by variable-temperature 1H NMR spectroscopic analysis.  相似文献

Reactions of perchlorates of iron(II), nickel(II), and zinc(II) with 2,2':6',2':6',2'"-quaterpyridine (qtpy) gave the first crystallographically established bis-qtpy metal complexes of formula [M(qtpy)(2)][ClO(4)](2) (M = Fe, Ni, Zn). Coordination of two terdentate quaterpyridines to the same center produces a distorted octahedron of six nitrogen atoms around the metal, leaving two pendant pyridyl groups, one for each quaterpyridine. For the diamagnetic zinc system, an NMR investigation has been carried out in order to establish the conditions to obtain the intermediate mono-qtpy complex, of formula [Zn(qtpy)(H(2)O)(2)][ClO(4)](2), which has also been crystallographically established. The corresponding hexafluorophosphate derivatives [M(qtpy)(2)][PF(6)](2) (M = Ni and Zn) were prepared in DMF at room temperature.  相似文献

The heteroleptic and homoleptic ruthenium(II) complexes of 4'-cyano-2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine are synthesized by palladium catalyzed cyanation of the corresponding Ru(II) complexes of 4'-chloro-2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine. The introduction of the strongly electron-withdrawing cyano group into the Ru(tpy)(2)(2+) moiety dramatically changes its photophysical and redox properties as well as prolongs its room temperature excited-state lifetime.  相似文献

A new terthiophene monomer: 3',4'-dimethoxy-2,2':5',2"-terthiophene (TMT) was synthesized and characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and FTIR. The solid-state oxidative polymerizations of TMT were performed in various ratios of oxidant (FeCl?) to monomer (TMT). The resulting polymers were characterized by 1H-NMR, FTIR, UV-vis-NIR, GPC, X-ray diffraction, CV, as well as TGA and conductivity measurements. The structure and properties of poly (TMT) were compared with those of polyterthiophene [poly(TT)] and poly (3',4'-ethylenedioxy-2,2':5',2"-terthiophene) [poly(TET)] prepared under the same polymerization conditions. After comparative analysis with poly(TT) and poly(TET), the effects of the dimethoxy substituent and FeCl? on the structural and physicochemical properties of the poly(TMT)s were discussed in depth. The comparison suggested that the dimethoxy-substituted polymer did not display higher crystallinity, thermal stability, conductivity and electrochemical activity than ethylenedioxy substituted one. The results also showed that the effect of FeCl? on poly(TMT) was similar that seen with the poly(TT), in which the oxidation degree, electrochemical activity and conductivity increased steadily with increasing [FeCl?/[TT] ratio. Furthermore, the poly(TMT) and poly(TT) are mostly made up of dimers with a small amount of higher molecular weight components.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of Ru(II) terpyridine complexes derived from 4'-functionalized 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine ligands by a multi step procedure have been described. The complexes are redox-active, showing both metal-centred (oxidation) and ligand-centred (reduction) processes. The antibacterial and antifungal activity of the synthesized ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(attpy)2](PF6)2 (attpy = 4'-(4-acryloyloxymethylphenyl)-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine); [Ru(mttpy)2](PF6)2 (mttpy = 4'-(4-methacryloyloxymethylphenyl)-2,2':6',2'- terpyridine); [Ru(mttpy)(MeOPhttpy)](PF6)2 (MeOPhttpy = 4'-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine); and [Ru(mttpy)(ttpy)](PF6)2 (ttpy = 4'-(4-methylphenyl)-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine) were tested against four human pathogens (Proteus vulgaris, Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli) and five plant pathogens (Curvularia lunata, Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium udum, Macrophomina phaseolina and Rhizoctonia solani) by the well diffusion method and MIC values of the complexes are reported. A biological study of the complexes indicated that the complexes [Ru(mttpy)2](PF6)2 and [Ru(mttpy)(MeOPhttpy)](PF6)2 exhibit very good activity against most of the test pathogens and their activity is better than those of some of the commercially available antibiotics like tetracycline and the fungicide carbendazim.  相似文献

Two series of solid complexes of rare earth nitrates and picrates with the “back-to-back” terpyridine, 6′,6″-bis(2-pyridyl)-2,2′:4′,4″:2″,2′′′-quaterpyridine (L) have been synthesized. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, thermal analysis and IR spectroscopy. Following an initial clean-up step on silica, high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) was used to purify an aryl ketone, 1-[2',4'-dihydroxy-3',5'-di-(3"-methylbut-2"-enyl)-6'-methoxy] phenylethanone from an extract of the stem bark of the shrub Acronychia pedunculata. The two-phase solvent system used was composed of n-heptane-ethyl acetate-methanol-water at an optimized volume ratio of 4:1:4:1 (v/v/v/v). Target compound (58.1 mg) with a purity of 98.9% was obtained after HSCCC of 183.5 mg sample with a purity of 35.7% recovered after the silica clean-up step. Identification of the target compound was performed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, two-dimensional NMR and LC-electrospray ionization MS.  相似文献

A series of RuII or FeII trischelate complex salts containing N-methyl/aryl-2,2':4,4' ':4',4' '-quaterpyridinium ligands that has previously been subjected to quadratic nonlinear optical studies (Coe, B. J. et al. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2005, 127, 13399) has now been investigated for two-photon absorbing behavior. Z-scan measurements using a 750 nm laser afford reasonably large two-photon absorption (2PA) cross-sections sigma2 of ca. 62-180 GM for the RuII complexes, but only very weak 2PA is observed for the FeII compounds. The excited-state and 2PA properties of the representative chromophore [RuII(Me2Qpy2+)3]8+ (Me2Qpy2+=N' ',N' '-dimethyl-2,2':4,4' ':4',4' '-quaterpyridinium) have also been investigated by using semiempirical intermediate neglect of differential overlap/multireference-determinant single and double configuration interaction computations with the optimized geometry obtained via density functional theory. The calculated sigma2 value of ca. 624 GM at 1.70 eV for this metal-to-ligand charge-transfer chromophore is about 10 times larger than that obtained from the Z-scan studies.  相似文献

One step nickel-catalyzed electroreductive homocoupling among 2-bromopicolines and 2-bromopyridine has been investigated by our group in an undivided cell and using zinc or iron as sacrificial anode. In this work, it was developed mono and dihalopyridines coupling to obtain possible products from heterocoupling. A series of reactions were carried out in order to develop a synthetic method for the preparation of unsymmetrical 2,2′-bipyridines and 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridines. Statistical yields (50%) were observed for 2-bromopyridines/2-bromo-6-methylpyridine heterocoupling. In a preliminary study devoted to terpyridines preparation, good results were obtained for 2,6-dihalopyridines homocoupling, affording 2,6-dichloro-2,2′-bipyridine (46%) and 2,6-dibromo-2,2′-bipyridine (56%), at controlled reaction time. At major reaction time, it was observed that the direct electroreduction of the 2,6′-dihalo-2,2′-bipyridines intermediates and 2,6″-dihalo-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridines products on the cathode surface. A reasonable isolated product yield of 6,6″-dimethyl-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine (10%) was only observed in the reaction between 2,6-dichloropyridine and 2-bromo-6-methylpyridine (1:2).  相似文献

Ligands in which multiple metal-binding domains are linked by a metal-containing moiety rather than a conventional organic group are described as "expanded ligands". The use of 4,4'-difunctionalised {Ru(tpy)(2)} units provides a linear spacer between metal-binding domains and we have extended this motif to expanded ligands containing two carboxylic acid metal-binding domains. In this paper, we describe the synthesis and structural characterisation of ruthenium(ii) complexes of 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine-4'-carboxylic acid and 4'-carboxyphenyl-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine. The ability of the ruthenium(ii) centre to charge compensate deprotonation of the carboxylic acid leads to Zwitterionic complexes and three representative compounds have been structurally characterised.  相似文献

A comparative structural and spectroscopic investigation of the complexes [M(1)2]2+, [M(2)2]2+ and [M(3)2]2+ in which M = Fe or Ru, and ligands 1, 2 and 3 are 4'-(2-pyridyl)-, 4'-(3-pyridyl)- and 4'-(4-pyridyl)-2,2':6',2"-terpyridine, respectively, is reported. The complexes [Ru(1)2]2+, [Ru(2)2]2+ and [Ru(3)2]2+ undergo mono- and bis-N-methylation. The consequences of methylation on the absorption spectra and electrochemical properties are discussed; the solid-state structure of the bis(N-methylated) derivative of [Ru(2)2][PF6]2 is presented.  相似文献

The 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridines 7a-c were prepared in good yield by reacting α-acetoxy-α-chloro-β-keto-esters 3a-c with bis-amidrazone 4 and 2,5-norbornadiene 6 in ethanol at reflux. The synthesis of a new series of mixed phenylene-thiophene oligomers is reported; 2,5-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)thiophene (dH-PTP, 1), 5,5'-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2,2'-bithiophene (dH-PTTP, 2), 5,5' '-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2,2':5',2' '-terthiophene (dH-PT(3)P, 3), 5,5' "-bis(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2,2':5',2' ':5' ',2' "-quaterthiophene (dH-PT(4)P, 4), 1,4-bis[5-(4-n-hexylphenyl)-2-thienyl]benzene (dH-PTPTP, 5), and 2,5-bis[4(4'-n-hexylphenyl)phenyl]thiophene (dH-PPTPP, 6) were characterized by (1)H NMR, elemental analysis, UV-visible spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analysis. Vacuum-evaporated and solution-cast films were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. All compounds display high p-type carrier mobilities as evaporated (up to 0.09 cm(2)/Vs) and as solution-cast (up to 0.03 cm(2)/Vs) films on both Si/SiO(2) and ITO/GR (glass resin) substrates. The straightforwardly synthesized dH-PTTP (2) displays an unprecedented combination of mobility, on/off ratio, stability, and processability. Both dH-PTTP (2) and dH-PPTPP (6) display a reversible, tunable, and stable memory effect even as solution-cast devices, with turn-on characteristics shifting from accumulation mode to zero or depletion mode after a writing voltage V(w) is applied. The charge storage is distributed over the gate dielectric structure and is concentrated near the dielectric-semiconductor interface, as evidenced by the response of "floating gate" configuration devices. Simple nonvolatile elements have been fabricated by solution-only techniques on ITO substrates using spin-coated glass resin, solution-cast oligomeric semiconductors, and painted graphite paste electrodes.  相似文献

TiO2纳米颗粒和配合物3间的光诱导电子转移作用及其该作用生成的钌(III)物种可能是促进配合物3对DNA光损伤的主要原因.  相似文献

The synthesis and photophysical properties of a linear 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine-based trinuclear Ru(II)-Os(II) nanometer-sized array are described. This array comprises two bis(2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine) ruthenium(II) terminals connected via alkoxy-strapped 4,4'-diethynylated biphenylene units to a central bis(2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine) osmium(II) core. The mixed-metal linear array was prepared using the "synthesis at metal" approach, and the Ru(II)-Ru(II) separation is ca. 50 A. Energy transfer occurs with high efficiency from the Ru(II) units to the Os(II) center at all temperatures. Forster-type energy transfer prevails in a glassy matrix at very low temperature, but this is augmented by Dexter-type electron exchange at higher temperatures. This latter process, which is weakly activated, involves long-range superexchange interactions between the metal centers. In fluid solution, a strongly activated process provides for fast energy transfer. Here, a charge-transfer (CT) state localized on the bridge is populated as an intermediate species. The CT triplet does not undergo direct charge recombination to form the ground state but transfers energy, possibly via a second CT state, to the Os(II)-based acceptor. The short tethering strap constrains the geometry of the linker, especially in a glassy matrix, such that low-temperature electron exchange occurs across a particular torsion angle of 37 degrees . The probability of triplet energy transfer depends on temperature but always exceeds 75%.  相似文献

[Ru(II)(terpy)(DMSO)Cl(2)] complexes were synthesized as a 5/1 mixture of cis and trans isomers, and their reactivities with CO and with substituted 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine (terpy) moieties have been investigated. The structure of a trans isomer and its CO adduct have been unambiguously assigned by spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The [Ru(terpy)(terpy-Br)](2+) complex prepared either from the cis-[Ru(II)(terpy)(DMSO)Cl(2)] or from the cis-[Ru(II)(terpy-Br)(DMSO)Cl(2)] precursor appeared to be reactive in cross-coupling reactions promoted by low-valent palladium(0) and is an attractive target for the stepwise synthesis of polynuclear complexes bearing vacant coordination sites (terpy-Br for 4'-bromo-2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine). Several bipyridine, phenanthroline, and bipyrimidine complexes were prepared this way and their optical and redox properties determined and discussed.  相似文献
