This paper proposes a practical measurement system for bidirectional reflectance distribution functions (BRDFs) of a three-dimensional (3D) object with a linear light source. Using the linear light source, the proposed system can reduce the number of image acquisitions which are necessary for an estimation of the spatially-varying BRDFs of the object. Furthermore, the size of the proposed system is much smaller than a conventional system which uses a parallel light. In this proposed system, the light field of the linear light source is previously measured to determine direction and radiance of incident rays to each point of the object, because the direction and radiance are not constant at each point. Using the proposed system, the BRDF of a point of flat objects was experimentally measured, and results showed validation of the estimation accuracy of the proposed system. Measurement efficiency of the proposed system was also evaluated by comparing reflectance model parameters estimated by the conventional and proposed systems. For the estimation, the reflectance function of a 3D object was measured by both systems. The estimation accuracy of the proposed method was also evaluated by comparing among a real image and rendered 3D objects of the conventional and proposed methods.  相似文献

Computer analysis of the arbitrary source image obtained in 3D electron-optic systems is performed. The systems involve electrostatic fields focusing and deflecting electron beams. Specifically, the structure of a net electron beam from an extended source at the crossover is examined. It is shown that the spread function of the source, which characterizes the imaging quality of the system most fully, may serve as a primary computational criterion.  相似文献

We consider the one-dimensional motion of a particle immersed in a potential field U(x) under the influence of a frictional (dissipative) force linear in velocity () and a time-dependent external force (K(t)). The dissipative system subject to these forces is discussed by introducing the extended Bateman’s system, which is described by the Lagrangian: which leads to the familiar classical equations of motion for the dissipative (open) system. The equation for a variable y is the time-reversed of the x motion. We discuss the extended Bateman dual Lagrangian and Hamiltonian by setting specifically for a dual extended damped–amplified harmonic oscillator subject to the time-dependent external force. We show the method of quantizing such dissipative systems, namely the canonical quantization of the extended Bateman’s Hamiltonian ?. The Heisenberg equations of motion utilizing the quantized Hamiltonian surely lead to the equations of motion for the dissipative dynamical quantum systems, which are the quantum analog of the corresponding classical systems. To discuss the stability of the quantum dissipative system due to the influence of an external force K(t) and the dissipative force, we derived a formula for transition amplitudes of the dissipative system with the help of the perturbation analysis. The formula is specifically applied for a damped–amplified harmonic oscillator subject to the impulsive force. This formula is used to study the influence of dissipation such as the instability due to the dissipative force and/or the applied impulsive force.  相似文献

This paper presents a fusion method for infrared–visible image and infrared-polarization image based on multi-scale center-surround top-hat transform which can effectively extract the feature information and detail information of source images. Firstly, the multi-scale bright (dark) feature regions of source images at different scale levels are respectively extracted by multi-scale center-surround top-hat transform. Secondly, the bright (dark) feature regions at different scale levels are refined for eliminating the redundancies by spatial scale. Thirdly, the refined bright (dark) feature regions from different scales are combined into the fused bright (dark) feature regions through adding. Then, a base image is calculated by performing dilation and erosion on the source images with the largest scale outer structure element. Finally, the fusion image is obtained by importing the fused bright and dark features into the base image with a reasonable strategy. Experimental results indicate that the proposed fusion method can obtain state-of-the-art performance in both aspects of objective assessment and subjective visual quality.  相似文献

Coincidence imaging is a technique that extracts an image of a test system from the statistics of photons transmitted by a reference system when the two systems are illuminated by a source possessing appropriate correlations. It has recently been argued that quantum entangled sources are necessary for the implementation of this technique. We show that this technique does not require entanglement, and we provide an experimental demonstration of coincidence imaging using a classical source. We further find that any kind of coincidence imaging technique which uses a "bucket" detector in the test arm is incapable of imaging phase-only objects, whether a classical or quantum source is employed.  相似文献

The influences of various laser modes on the splitting beam effect of Dammann grating are studied in theory and by numerical simulation. The results show that fundamental mode laser resembles plane wave while high order mode laser differs from plane wave in the splitting beam effect by Dammann grating. Therefore, the fundamental mode laser is more suitable to be the light source to improve the energy efficiency in far-distance image detecting systems, such as laser image ladar, which use Dammann grating in the ilhlmination svstem.  相似文献

环形编码孔成像技术具有高的探测效率和信噪比,是一种解决低强度脉冲辐射源成像较好的技术。基于该技术,利用Geant4建立环形编码孔中子成像的模拟过程,获取6个不同位置的点扩散函数(PSF)和编码图像。根据空间移变图像分块原理,将图像分成矩形和圆形分块,每一块图像用RL迭代法复原,去除边界明显畸变的像素,这些像素强度由相邻的图像块像素到边界距离的加权系数叠加而成。模拟结果表明,该方法提高了图像复原效果,能够更好地诊断射线区域的空间分布情况。  相似文献

Previous studies of on-off intermittency in continuum systems are generally in the synchronization of identical chaotic oscillators or in the nonlinear systems driven by the Duffing oscillator. In this paper, one-state on-off intermittency and two-state on-off intermittency are observed in two five-dimensional continuum systems, respectively. The systems have skew product structure in which a two-dimensional subsystem is driven by the well-known Lorenz chaotic system. Moreover, the phenomenon of intermingled basins is observed below the blowout bifurcation. The statistical properties of the intermittency in the systems are investigated. It is shown that the distribution of the laminar phase duration time follows a power law, and that of the burst phase amplitude shows a −1 power law, which coincide with the basic statistical characteristics of on-off intermittency.  相似文献

Multi-focus image fusion combines multiple source images with different focus points into one image, so that the resulting image appears all in-focus. In order to improve the accuracy of focused region detection and fusion quality, a novel multi-focus image fusion scheme based on robust principal component analysis (RPCA) and pulse-coupled neural network (PCNN) is proposed. In this method, registered source images are decomposed into principal component matrices and sparse matrices with RPCA decomposition. The local sparse features computed from the sparse matrix construct a composite feature space to represent the important information from the source images, which become inputs to PCNN to motivate the PCNN neurons. The focused regions of the source images are detected by the firing maps of PCNN and are integrated to construct the final, fused image. Experimental results demonstrate that the superiority of the proposed scheme over existing methods and highlight the expediency and suitability of the proposed method.  相似文献

Continuous terahertz wave (CW THz) has been widely used in imaging field. However, the speed of imaging calls for an improvement for security screening since the speed of previous CW imaging systems which scan point to point is too slow to be applied in security field. To increase the imaging speed, we proposed a fast CW-THz imaging system in which a galvanometer is introduced. The galvanometer makes the beams reflected in different angles by vibrating at a certain frequency which can significantly decrease the image acquisition time compared to traditional CW-THz imaging system. Furthermore, the system is compact due to source and detector of small size. Examples of measurements of concealed weapons are presented and discussed. Ideal results of better resolution are obtained.  相似文献

The problems associated with the optimization of the design of active night viewing systems based on the infra-red image converter tube are discussed with special reference to its key components; namely the optics, the imaging device and the infra-red source. The role of spectral matching between the response of the imaging device and the distribution of the infra-red source is highlighted, and these factors pertaining to some practical sources in combination with the imaging device are computed. A procedure for the design of an infra-red source to achieve a specified field irradiance is presented, and the use of these concepts in the optimization of the design of practical systems is illustrated.  相似文献

通过对具有二维高斯型相位分布特征物体的X射线同轴相衬成像技术进行理论分析,提出了一种基于图像信噪比的成像系统优化设计方法。采用数值模拟的方式分别对亚微焦点源、激光驱动微焦点源和同步辐射源三种X射线源下的成像系统进行了优化设计,结果表明:相对于最大化衬度的系统优化设计方法,信噪比优化设计方法在较小降低衬度的前提下,可以较好地改善图像信噪比并得到更为合理的成像距离。  相似文献

The present paper presents acoustic and thermal performance evaluations carried out in low-cost houses located at the Vila Tecnológica de Curitiba (Technological Village of Curitiba), in Curitiba, Brazil. Two dwellings were evaluated, which were built according to different building systems: (1) the building system Batistella, built with pre-fabricated modules and elements, composed of reforestation wood and (2) the building system Constroyer, composed of expanded polystyrene (EPS) plates, framed in a welded iron mesh, with structural plastering. For the thermal performance evaluation, it was verified that the materials used in the envelope were quite significant for controlling heat gains and losses through the building elements as well as for regulating heat storage. In this case, the system with highest thermal inertia presented better results. Results showed that both building systems had poor acoustic performance, characterized by a low weighted apparent sound reduction index of the façade dB. The German DIN 4109 Norm recommends a minimum of dB. The weighted apparent sound reduction index measured for internal walls was dB and dB, for the building systems Battistela and Constroyer, respectively. The minimum required by German regulation VDI 4100 is dB, for internal walls.  相似文献

Fourier transform emission spectra of CoCl were obtained with a tube furnace-DC discharge source in the 450-500 nm spectral region. In addition to observing two different band systems, which were assigned as [20.7] and [21.3] by Adam et al. [J. Mol. Spectrosc. 212 (2002) 111], we obtained data for additional sub-bands and vibrational levels. In contrast to the previous work, intense Q branches are seen in the [21.3]- bands which indicate that these bands are likely ΔΛ≠0 transitions. The equilibrium rotational constant Be for the ground state is 0.1801104(28) cm−1, the equilibrium bond length is 2.065122(16) Å and ΔG1/2 is 430.418(5) cm−1.  相似文献

The parallelism and entanglement characteristics of quantum computation greatly improve the efficiency of image processing tasks. With the sharp increase of data size and requirement of real-time processing in image fusion application, rapid implementation using quantum computation will become the inexorable trend. A novel multimodality image fusion algorithm based on quantum wavelet transform (QWT) and proposed quantum version of sum-modified-laplacian (SML) rule is designed in this paper. The source digital images are firstly represented by flexible representation of quantum image (FRQI) model, and then the quantum form images are transformed with QWT to capture salient features of source images. The quantum version of SML rule is proposed to fuse wavelet coefficients, which has higher efficiency and runs faster than its classical counterpart. The final fused image is obtained by using inverse quantum wavelet transform. The simulations and theoretical analysis verify that the proposed algorithm is effective in the fusion of multimodality images.

We employ the target detection to improve the performance of the feature-based fusion of infrared and visible dynamic images, which forms a novel fusion scheme. First, the target detection is used to segment the source image sequences into target and background regions. Then, the dual-tree complex wavelet transform (DT-CWT) is proposed to decompose all the source image sequences. Different fusion rules are applied respectively in target and background regions to preserve the target information as much as possible. Real world infrared and visible image sequences are used to validate the performance of the proposed novel scheme. Compared with the previous fusion approaches of image sequences, the improvements of shift invariance, temporal stability and consistency, and computation cost are all ensured.  相似文献

A dynamical system of infinite volume and of infinite number of identical interacting particles occupying energy levels has been constructed as the limit of an infinite sequence of finite, equivalent systems of increasing size and particle number. Systems both in equilibrium and in non-equilibrium state (designated S=limSk, , respectively, k=1,2,…) were investigated. The main results are:(i) The values in the T-limit (thermodynamic limit) of the physical quantities characterizing these systems are determined.(ii) The time evolution process both in and in systems is governed by the non-linear rate equations with common initial conditions pi(t0), where pi(t)=ni(t)/N are the occupation probabilities at time t. The time evolution process in the and systems is the same. The asymptotic approach to the equilibrium state is proved.(iii) For the case of the equilibrium state, the Boltzmann probability distribution pi is given by the equation −lnpi+a+eib=0 common to Sk and S systems with the same value of a and b. The term a=β−1ae, where ae is the free energy per particle, and .(iv) The conditions for the equivalence of the systems being in equilibrium and also of the ones in non-equilibrium are stated.  相似文献

An algorithm is presented for multi-sensor image fusion using discrete wavelet frame transform (DWFT).The source images to be fused are firstly decomposed by DWFT. The fusion process is the combining of the source coefficients. Before the image fusion process, image segmentation is performed on each source image in order to obtain the region representation of each source image. For each source image, the salience of each region in its region representation is calculated. By overlapping all these region representations of all the source images, we produce a shared region representation to label all the input images. The fusion process is guided by these region representations. Region match measure of the source images is calculated for each region in the shared region representation. When fusing the similar regions, weighted averaging mode is performed; otherwise selection mode is performed. Experimental results using real data show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the traditional pyramid transform based or discrete wavelet transform (DWT) based algorithms in multi-sensor image fusion.  相似文献
