belongs to P21 space group of the monoclinic system, Z=2, a=9.264(2) Å, b=8.929(2) Å, c=8.874(2) Å, β=108.61(3)°. The crystal is isomorphous to

(LHP) crystal. The H2AsO4 anions and H3AsO4 molecules are joined into layers parallel to the (100) crystallographic planes by the O–HO type hydrogen bonds. The histidinium cations occupy the space between the layers. The histidinium cation posses the carboxylic COO group. The positive charges appear in the ring (the proton is attached to the =N(3)– nitrogen) and in the ammonium group. The differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) diagram does not show any phase transition till 100 K. The infrared spectrum fully confirms the X-ray crystal structure. The LHA crystal is a good second harmonic generator (0.46 relative to KDP)  相似文献

The enthalpies of formation of glycine and L-α-alanine are determined by two complementary techniques: combustion calorimetry and change of state (sublimation) calorimetry.
The values of the experimental and theoretical energy of conjugation of these two molecules (partially conjugated) and the energetical value of the C---N bond in Laidler's scheme, derived from the experimental enthalpy of atomization, are also given.

Les enthalpies de combustion à létat condensé de la glycine et de la L-α-alanine ont été déterminées à d'un calorìmetre isopéribolique à bombe rotative. Leurs valeurs à l'état standard à 298,15 K sont: δH°c = −(972,98±0,19) kJ mol−1 pour la glycine et ΔHδc = −(1621,45 − 0,48) kJ mol-1 pour la L-α-alanine. The crystal structure of bis(1-methylisonicotinate)hydrogen perchlorate, (MIN)2H·ClO4, has been studied by X-ray diffraction, DFT calculations, FT-IR, Raman, 1H and 13C NMR spectra. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/n, with a pair of MIN molecules bridged by a short asymmetrical O·H·O hydrogen bond of 2.461(5) Å. The COO groups are twisted by 80.55° with respect to the plane of the pyridine ring. The anion interacts electrostatically with the positively charged nitrogen atoms of the neighbouring MIN molecules. The most stable conformer of isolated (MIN)2H·ClO4 and two homoconjugated cations, (MIN)2H, have been analyzed by the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) calculations in order to determine the influence of the anion on the hydrogen bonds in MIN·H·MIN unit. The FT-IR spectrum of the (MIN)2H·ClO4 shows a broad and intense absorption in the 1500–400 cm−1 region, typical of short hydrogen bonds. The isotopic ratio, νOHO/νODO, is close to unity, indicating that the hydrogen bond is acentric (pseudo-type A).  相似文献

The adsorption isotherms of

- and

-phenylalanine anilide (PA) on an

-phenylalanine anilide imprinted stationary phase have been determined using staircase frontal analysis. An aqueous buffer–organic solvent mixture has been used as mobile phase. The measurements were done at temperatures of 40, 50, 60 and 70°C for sample concentrations ranging between 5·10−4 to 1 g/l. It was found that the adsorption data fit well to both the Freundlich and the Bi-Langmuir isotherm models. Examination of the best values of the numerical coefficients of the Bi-Langmuir model shows that the site class representing the binding sites with the highest binding energy exhibits a very low saturation capacity for the non-imprinted enantiomer, indicating a high selectivity for the imprinted

-enantiomer. The low energy site class also shows some selectivity for the

-enantiomer. Mass transfer rate coefficients were obtained for each single breakthrough curve by using the transport model of chromatography. It was found that the mass transfer coefficient of

-PA increases very rapidly with the sample concentration while there is only a slight increase for the other enantiomer.  相似文献

Abstract

10-Hydroxycamptothecin is prepared by chemoselective catalytic hydrogenation of the B-ring of camptothecin over PtO2 with sulfur moderators followed by oxidation using iodobenzenediacetate. New moderators (viz. thioanisole, dimethyl sulfide, diphenyl sulfide, 2-mercapto ethanol), which moderate the hydrogenation of the B- ring of camptothecin, are being explored.

Three methods have been developed for the synthesis of N-acyl- and N-sulfonyl-aminoisoquinolinium chlorides (6) and the corresponding dipolar bases (7): (1) ring closures of N-acyl- and N-sulfonyl-N-{2-[β-(2,4-dinitranilino)vinyl]benzylidene}hydrazines(5β), (2) acylation of N-aminoisoquinolinium chloride (6a) and (3) transacylations of N-(2-isoquinolinio)-ethoxycarbonylamidate (7i). The solvate structures formed by the ortho-, meta-, and para-isomers of hydroxybenzoic acid (o-HBA, m-HBA, and p-HBA) with a polar co-solvent (methanol at a concentration of 0.030 and 0.035 mole fractions) in supercritical carbon dioxide at a constant density of 0.7 g/cm3 and temperatures of 318 and 328 K have been studied by the classic molecular dynamics. It has been determined that a stable hydrogen-bonded complex with the co-solvent forms via the hydrogen of the carboxyl group for all isomers. The probability of this complex existence is high at all temperatures and concentrations. In the o-HBA molecule, the other functional groups are engaged in the intramolecular hydrogen bond, but not involved in interactions with methanol. It has been found that m-HBA and p-HBA can be involved in hydrogen bonds with methanol via hydroxyl hydrogen and oxygen atoms; they are characterized by the presence of one more co-solvent molecule (rarely, two molecules) in their solvation shell and intermittent formations/breakages of hydrogen bonds via other functional groups. These bonds are far less stable, and their formation is sensitive to change of temperature and co-solvent concentration. It has been concluded that the degree of selective solvation of m-HBA and p-HBA by co-solvent molecules is approximately the same, but the rate of structural rearrangements in the nearest environment of m-HBA is higher than that of p-HBA.  相似文献

Irradiation effects of 35 MeV proton beam bombardment on polyaniline (PAn) have been studied. PAn was made by standard MacDiarmid method, and the irradiation was performed at ambient temperature lower than 20°C. A 511 keV γ photon was detected by γ spectrum analysis, and a nuclear reaction 14N(p,α)11C in collaboration of 12C(p,pn)11C took place. By means of chemical ionization, mass spectra of samples before and after ion bombardment were recorded. Experimental results showed that products such as

and cyclic compounds like

and

were produced. IR spectra and SEM micrographs gave results of vibrational frequency shifts and morphology consistent with mass spectrometry. Finally we conclude that high energy proton beam bombardment resulted in main-chain scission and carbonization of PAn. Although the electrical conductivity reduced from 0.72 to 0.62 S cm-1, it retained at the same level. This implies that PAn might be used under the influence of high energy radiation.  相似文献

Reactions of the dichloroboryl complex of osmium, Os(BCl2)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2, with water, alcohols, and amines: Crystal structures of Os[B(OH)2]Cl(CO)(PPh3)2, Os[B(OEt)2]Cl(CO)(PPh3)2, and

Reaction between the dichloroboryl complex, Os(BCl2)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2, and water replaces both chloride substituents on the boryl ligand, without cleavage of the Os---B bond, giving yellow Os[B(OH)2]Cl(CO)(PPh3)2 (1). Compound 1 can be regarded as an example of a ‘metalla–boronic acid’ (LnM---B(OH)2) and in the solid state, X-ray crystal structure determination reveals that molecules of 1 are tetragonal pyramidal in geometry (Os---B, 2.056(3) Å) and are arranged in pairs, as hydrogen-bonded dimers. This same arrangement is found in the crystalline state for simple boronic acids. Reaction between the dichloroboryl complex, Os(BCl2)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2, and methanol and ethanol produces yellow Os[B(OMe)2]Cl(CO)(PPh3)2 (2a) and yellow Os[B(OEt)2]Cl(CO)(PPh3)2 (2b), respectively. The crystal structure of 2b reveals a tetragonal pyramidal geometry with the diethoxyboryl ligand in the apical site and with an Os---B bond distance of 2.081(5) Å. Reaction between Os(BCl2)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2, and N,N′-dimethyl-o-phenylenediamine and N,N′-dimethyl-ethylenediamine produces yellow

The solvent-mediated crystal-to-crystal transformation was observed from yellow crystal of NiCl2(CH3OH)2(1,4-dioxane)0.5 (1) to green crystal of [NiCl2(H2O)2(1,4-dioxane)](1,4-dioxane) (2) under high humidity or adding of H2O in CH3OH/1,4-dioxane solution. The μ-Cl2 bridge in 1 replaced by 1,4-dioxane bridge in 2. In 1, the chlorine-bridged linear chains of NiCl2(CH3OH)2 and 1,4-dioxane molecules stack along the b- and c-axis alternatively with hydrogen bonds intrachain, interchain, between chain and solvent. These hydrogen bonds and dipolar interaction between ferromagnetic coupling chlorine-bridged chains result in long-range ferromagnetic ordering at 3.1 K and a strong frequency dependence of the ac-susceptibilities associated to domain structures with very large shape anisotropy was observed below 3.1 K. In 2, layers of 1,4-dioxane-bridged linear chains of NiCl2(H2O)2(1,4-dioxane) are intercalated by layer of 1,4-dioxane molecules with hydrogen bonds between chain and solvent. Benzamidinium d-glucuronate (1) crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121 and exhibits a 3 D network with molecules linked by moderate intermolecular hydrogen bonds (HNH…O(solvent) 2.993 Å, HNH…OCO 2.894 Å, HNH…O(cycle) 2.844 Å, OH…NH2 2.931 Å, OH…O(solvent) 2.894, 2.924 and 2.715 Å (stronger)) with participation of cations, anions and solvent molecules. The IR-band assignment of carbohydrate moieties is elucidated by a comparison between the types and bond lengths of intermolecular interactions with participation of OH groups in d-glucuronate and linear polarized IR-(IR-LD) spectroscopic data. Experimental results are supported by theoretical ab initio calculations of benzamidinium cation and d-glucuronate anion.  相似文献

Background

Peptides with cytoprotective functions, including antioxidants and anti-infectives, could be useful therapeutics. Carnosine, β-alanine-histidine, is a dipeptide with anti-oxidant properties. Tripeptides of Ala-His-Lys, Pro-His-His, or Tyr-His-Tyr are also of interest in this respect.

Results

We synthesized several histidine-containing peptides including glycine or alanine, and tested their cytoprotective effects on hydrogen peroxide toxicity for PC12 cells. Of all these peptides (Gly-His-His, Ala-His-His, Ala-His-Ala, Ala-Ala-His, Ala-Gly-His, Gly-Ala-His (GAH), Ala-His-Gly, His-Ala-Gly, His-His-His, Gly-His-Ala, and Gly-Gly-His), GAH was found to have the strongest cytoprotective activity. GAH decreased lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) leakage, apoptosis, morphological changes, and nuclear membrane permeability changes against hydrogen peroxide toxicity in PC12 cells. The cytoprotective activity of GAH was superior to that of carnosine against hydrogen peroxide toxicity in PC12 cells. GAH also protected PC12 cells against damage caused by actinomycin D and staurosporine. Additionally, it was found that GAH also protected SH-SY5Y and Jurkat cells from damage caused by hydrogen peroxide, as assessed by LDH leakage.

Conclusion

Thus, a novel tripeptide, GAH, has been identified as having broad cytoprotective effects against hydrogen peroxide-induced cell damage.

Background

The compounds 1,4-napthoquinone (1,4-NQ), bis-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)sulfide (2,4-DNPS), 4-nitrobenzothiadiazole (4-NBT), 3-dimethylaminopropiophenone (3-DAP) and menadione (MD) were tested for antimalarial activity against both chloroquine (CQ)-sensitive (D6) and chloroquine (CQ)-resistant (W2) strains of Plasmodium falciparum through an in vitro assay and also for analysis of non-covalent interactions with P. falciparum thioredoxin reductase (PfTrxR) through in silico docking studies.

Results

The inhibitors of PfTrxR namely, 1,4-NQ, 4-NBT and MD displayed significant antimalarial activity with IC50 values of?<?20 μM and toxicity against 3T3 cell line. 2,4-DNPS was only moderately active. In silico docking analysis of these compounds with PfTrxR revealed that 2,4-DNPS, 4-NBT and MD interact non-covalently with the intersubunit region of the enzyme.

Conclusions

In this study, tools for the identification of PfTrxR inhibitors using phenotyphic screening and docking studies have been validated for their potential use for antimalarial drug discovery project.
