This study presents the development of an original electrode, employing 6-methy-4-{[1-(1H-pyrrol-2-yl)methylidene]amino}-3-thioxo-3,4dihydro-1,2,4-triazin-5(2H)-one (PMTO) as a suitable ionophore. Interestingly, the electrode performance provided a very good response for Yb3+ in a wide concentration range (from 1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−1 mol L−1) with a detection limit of 4.6 × 10−7 mol L−1 and a slope of 19.5 ± 0.3 mV per decade of Yb3+ concentration. Furthermore, it possessed a fast response time of about 10 s and it functioned in the pH range of 3.3-8.0 with a usage of at least 2 months without observing any deviations. Noticeably, the proposed electrode revealed an excellent selectivity for Yb3+ over a broad variety of alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions. The practical applicability of the electrode was demonstrated by its utilization as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of Yb3+ ions with EDTA and in the determination of F in mouth wash samples. Additionally, it was also applied for the determination of Yb3+ ions in binary mixtures.  相似文献

In this article a new coated platinum Cu2+ ion selective electrode based on 2-((2-(2-(2-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylideneamino)phenyl)disufanyl)phenylimino) methyl)-4-methoxyphenol Schiff base (L1) as a new ionophore is described. This sensor has a wide linear range of concentration (1.2 × 10−7-1.0 × 10−1 mol L−1) and a low detection limit of 9.8 × 10−8 mol L−1of Cu(NO3)2. It has a Nernstian response with slope of 29.54 ± 1.62 mV decade−1 and it is applicable in the pH range of 4.0-6.0 without any divergence in potentioal. The coated electrode has a short response time of approximately 9 s and is stable at least for 3.5 months. The electrode shows a good selectivity for Cu2+ ion toward a wide variety of metal ions. The proposed sensor was successfully applied for the determination of Cu2+ ion in different real and environmental samples and as indicator electrode for potentiometric titration of Cu2+ ion with EDTA.  相似文献

A plasticized poly (vinyl chloride) membrane electrode based on 1,3-bis(2-cyanobenzene)triazene (CBT) for highly selective determination of platinum(II) (in PtCl42− form) is developed. The electrode showed a good Nernstian response (29.8 ± 0.3 mV decade−1) over a wide concentration range (1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−2 mol L−1). The limit of detection was 5.0 × 10−7 mol L−1. The electrode has a response time of about 40 s, and it can be used for at least 1 month without observing any considerable deviation from Nernstian response. The proposed electrode revealed an excellent selectivity toward platinum(II) ion over a wide variety of alkali, alkaline earth, transition, and heavy metal ions, and it could be used in the pH range of 3.2-5.1. The practical utility of the electrode has been demonstrated by its use in determination of platinum ion in, alloy, tap, mineral and river water samples.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective method was developed for the determination of N-acetyl-p-aminophenol (APAP) and p-aminophenol (PAP) using poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT)-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry were used to investigate the electrochemical reaction of APAP and PAP at the modified electrode. Both APAP and PAP showed quasireversible redox reactions with formal potentials of 367 mV and 101 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl), respectively, in phosphate buffer solution of pH 7.0. The significant peak potential difference (266 mV) between APAP and PAP enabled the simultaneous determination both species based on differential pulse voltammetry. The voltammetric responses gave linear ranges of 1.0 × 10−6-1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 and 4.0 × 10−6-3.2 × 10−4 mol L−1, with detection limits of 4.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 and 1.2 × 10−6 mol L−1 for APAP and PAP, respectively. The method was successfully applied for the determination of APAP and PAP in pharmaceutical formulations and biological samples.  相似文献

This work investigated the chemiluminescent reaction of free chlorine with bis(2,4,6-(trichlorophenyl)oxalate) (TCPO) in the presence of 9,10-diphenylanthracene in acetonitrile/water medium, with analytical application for free chlorine in tap water. In the absence of free chlorine, the background signal increased with the pH and the chemiluminescence emission showed strong dependence with the sample acidity. A flow injection analysis system, for free chlorine determination, was developed. The linear range for free chlorine was (0.2-3.0)×10−5 mol l−1. Chloramine 1.0×10−5 mol l−1 and chlorite 1.0×10−6 mol l−1 also enhanced the chemiluminescence intensity.  相似文献

It is known that Raman scattering signals are one of main interference sources leading up to determination errors in spectrofluorometry, and thus the signals can be easily detected with a common spectrofluorometer. In this contribution, we propose a quantitative method based on the inner filter effect (IFE) of reagents on the Raman scattering signals of solvent by taking the complexation of divalent cobalt ion with 4-[(5-chloro-2-pyridyl)azo]-1,3-diaminobenzene (5-Cl-PADAB) as a model system. By adjusting the excitation wavelength of the spectrofluorometer, we could easily detect the Raman scattering signals of water at 424 nm where the maximum absorption of 5-Cl-PADAB reagent is located. In a solution of 5-Cl-PADAB, the Raman scattering signals of water are decreased owing to the IFE of 5-Cl-PADAB. If Co(II), which could form the binary complex of Co(II)/5-Cl-PADAB and consumes the 5-Cl-PADAB reagent, is present in such a case for a given amount of 5-Cl-PADAB solution, recovered Raman scattering signals could be observed and measured with a spectrofluorometer. It was found that the intensity of the enhanced Raman scattering signals is proportional to the Co(II) concentration over the range from 2.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 to 1.0 × 10−5 mol L−1, and the detection limit could reach 1.2 × 10−7 mol L−1. With that, Co(II) in samples could be detected with R.S.D. values lower than 2.6% and recoveries over the range of 97.2-104.7%.  相似文献

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) chemiluminescence detection methodology is reported for the determination of the atypical antipsychotic drug quetiapine and the observation of its major active and inactive metabolites in human urine and serum. The method uses a monolithic chromatographic column allowing high flow rates of 3 mL min−1 enabling rapid quantification. Flow injection analysis (FIA) with tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) chemiluminescence detection and HPLC time of flight mass spectrometry (TOF-MS) were used for the determination of quetiapine in a pharmaceutical preparation to establish its suitability as a calibration standard. The limit of detection achieved with FIA was 2 × 10−11 mol L−1 in simple aqueous solution. The limits of detection achieved with HPLC were 7 × 10−8 and 2 × 10−10 mol L−1 in urine and serum, respectively. The calibration range for FIA was between 5 × 10−9 and 1 × 10−6 mol L−1. The calibration ranges for HPLC were between 1 × 10−7-1 × 10−4 and 1 × 10−8-1 × 10−4 mol L−1 in urine and serum, respectively. The quetiapine concentrations in patient samples were found to be 3 × 10−6 mol L−1 in urine and 7 × 10−7 mol L−1 in serum. Without the need for preconcentration, the HPLC detection limits compared favourably with those in previously published methodologies. The metabolites were identified using HPLC-TOF-MS.  相似文献

A novel in-capillary reduction and capillary electrophoretic (CE)-chemiluminescence (CL) method was developed for the sensitive and selective determination of chromium(III) and chromium(VI). The proposed method was based on the in-capillary reduction of Cr(VI) with acidic H2O2 to form Cr(III) using the zone-passing technique and chemiluminescence detection of Cr(III). The sample [Cr3+ and CrO42−], hydrochloric acid, and H2O2 (reductant) solution segments were injected for specified periods of time in this order from the anodic end of a capillary, followed by application of an appropriate running voltage between both ends. As both chromium species have opposite charges, Cr3+ migrates to the cathode while CrO42− ion, moving oppositely to the anode, reacts with acidic H2O2, resulted in formation of Cr3+. Based on the migration time difference of both Cr3+ ions, they were separated by zone electrophoresis. Running buffer was composed of 0.02 mol l−1 HAc-NaAc (pH 4.7) with 1×10−3 mol l−1 EDTA. Parameters affecting CE-CL separation and detection, such as reductant concentration, mixing mode of the analytes with CL reagent, CL reaction reagent pH and concentration, stability of luminol-hydrogen peroxide mixed solution were optimized. The limits of detection for chromium(III) and chromium(VI) (3σ) were 6×10−13 mol l−1 (mass concentration 12 zmol) and 8×10−12 mol l−1 (160 zmol), respectively. This method offered potential advantages of simplicity, sensitivity, selectivity and applicability to the determination of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) in environmental water.  相似文献

A flow injection (FI) method is reported for the determination of thyroxine based on its enhancement of chemiluminescence (CL) from the Ru(bpy)33+-NADH system. The calibration graph was linear over the range 2.0-10 × 10−8 mol L−1 (r2 = 0.9989) with relative standard deviations (R.S.D.) in the range 2.0-4.5% (n = 4). The limit of detection (3σ blank) was 1.0 × 10−9 mol L−1 with sample throughput of 120 h−1. The effect of some organic compounds, anions and cations were studied for l-thyroxine determination. The method was applied to pharmaceutical preparations and the results obtained were in reasonable agreement with the amount labeled. The method was statistically compared with the results obtained by RIA; no significant disagreement at 95% confidence limit was observed. A calibration graph of NADH over the range 1.3 × 10−8-1.3 × 10−6 mol L−1 was also established (r2 = 0.9992) with R.S.D. in the range1.0-3.5% (n = 4). The limit of detection (3σ) was 1.0 × 10−10 mol L−1 NADH.  相似文献

A novel method of first derivative synchronous fluorescence was developed for the rapid simultaneous analysis of trace 1-hydroxypyrene (1-OHP), 1-naphthol (1-NAP), 2-naphthol (2-NAP), 9-hydroxyphenanthrene (9-OHPe) and 2-hydroxyfluorene (2-OHFlu) in human urine. Only one single scan was needed for quantitative determination of five compounds simultaneously when Δλ = 10 nm was chosen. In the optimal experimental conditions, there was a linear relationship between the fluorescence intensity and the concentration of 1-OHP, 1-NAP, 2-NAP, 9-OHPe and 2-OHFlu in the range of 1.75 × 10−9 to 4.50 × 10−6 mol L−1, 3.64 × 10−8 to 2.20 × 10−4 mol L−1, 8.18 × 10−9 to 1.20 × 10−4 mol L−1, 3.26 × 10−9 to 8.50 × 10−5 mol L−1 and 4.88 × 10−9 to 5.50 × 10−6 mol L−1, respectively. The limits of detection (LOD) were found to be 5.25 × 10−10 mol L−1 for 1-OHP, 1.10 × 10−8 mol L−1 for 1-NAP, 2.46 × 10−9 mol L−1 for 2-NAP, 9.77 × 10−10 mol L−1 for 9-OHPe and 1.46 × 10−9 mol L−1 for 2-OHFlu. The proposed method is reliable, selective and sensitive, and has been used successfully in the determination of traces of 1-OHP, 1-NAP, 2-NAP, 9-OHPe and 2-OHFlu in human urine samples, whose results were in good agreement with those gained by the HPLC method.  相似文献

An adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for the determination of U(VI) at an in situ plated lead film electrode is described. The U(VI) complex with cupferron was accumulated from an acetate buffer solution of pH 4.2 at the potential −0.65 V. The measurements were carried out from undeaerated solutions. The calibration graph for an accumulation time of 180 s was linear from 5 × 10−10 to 2 × 10−8 mol L−1. The detection limit was 2 × 10−10 mol L−1, the relative standard deviation for 2 × 10−8 mol L−1 U(VI) was 4.3%. The proposed procedure was validated in the course of U(VI) determination in water certified reference materials.  相似文献

A spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of iron(III)-dimethyldithiocarbamate (ferbam) by concerting it into an iron(III)-9-(4-carboxyphenyl)-2,3,7-trihydroxyl-6-fluorone complex. In NH3-HAc buffer solution (pH 6.5), the reagent reacts with ferbam to form a blue complex with a maximum absorption peak at 640 nm. The reaction can be completed rapidly at room temperature and the absorbance is stable for at least 24 h. The apparent molar absorption coefficient, Sandell’s sensitivity of the complex, the detection limit and the relative standard deviation were found to be 1.06×105 l mol−1 cm−1, 3.9 ng cm−2, 2.2 ng ml−1 and 1.06%, respectively. From 0 to 75 μg of ferbam in 25 ml solution the absorbance obeyed Beer’s law. The effect of foreign ions and other dithiocarbamates were also studied in detail. The results indicated that all coexisting ions examined can be tolerated in considerable amounts, especially other dithiocarbamates such as ziram and zineb, which always interfere with the determination of ferbam in the literature. The proposed method is very sensitive, selective and simple, it has been applied to determine ferbam in commercial samples.  相似文献

A procedure for the determination of gallium by differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry (DPADSV), using different complexing agents (ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (APDC), pyrocatechol violet (PCV) and diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC)), has been optimized. The selection of the experimental conditions was made using experimental design methodology. Under these conditions, the calibration was made and the detection limit was determined for each gallium-ligand complex. A robust regression method was applied which allowed the elimination of anomalous points. The detection limit, with α=β=0.05, for gallium-APDC complex was 5.0×10−8 mol dm−3, for gallium-PCV complex was 9.9×10−9 mol dm−3, and the lowest detection limit (1.3×10−9 mol dm−3) was obtained with DDTC. For this reason, DDTC was selected for the determination of the gallium concentration in a certificate sample and in a spiked tap water sample. The linear dynamic range for gallium-APDC complex was from 5.0×10−8 to 2.7×10−7 mol dm−3, for gallium-PCV complex was from 5.0×10−9 to 4.8×10−7 mol dm−3, and for gallium-DDTC complex was from 1.0×10−9 to 2.1×10−7 mol dm−3.  相似文献

A simple electrochemical method was developed for the single and simultaneous determination of butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) in food samples using square-wave voltammetry (SWV). A carbon composite electrode modified (MCCE) with copper (II) phosphate immobilized in a polyester resin was proposed. The modified electrode allowed the detection of BHA and BHT at potentials lower than those observed at unmodified electrodes. A separation of about 430 mV between the peak oxidation potentials of BHA and BHT in binary mixtures was obtained. The calibration curves for the simultaneous determination of BHA and BHT demonstrated an excellent linear response in the range from 3.4 × 10−7 to 4.1 × 10−5 mol L−1 for both compounds. The detection limits for the simultaneous determination of BHA and BHT were 7.2 × 10−8 and 9.3 × 10−8 mol L−1, respectively. In addition, the stability and repeatability of the electrode were determined. The proposed method was successfully applied in the simultaneous determination of BHA and BHT in several food samples, and the results obtained were found to be similar to those obtained using the high performance liquid chromatography method with agreement at 95% confidence level.  相似文献

The paper presents the first report on fabrication and application of a user friendly and mercury free electrochemical sensor, with the renewable bismuth bulk annular band working electrode (RBiABE), in stripping voltammetry (SV). The sensor body is partly filled with the internal electrolyte solution, in which the RBiABE is cleaned and activated before each measurement. Time of the RBiABE contact with the sample solution is precisely controlled. The usefulness of this sensor was tested by Ni(II) and Co(II) traces determination by means of differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry (DP AdSV), after complexation with dimethylglyoxime (DMG) in ammonia buffer (pH 8.2). The experimental variables (composition of the supporting electrolyte, pre-concentration potential and time, potential of the RBiABE activation, and DP parameters), as well as possible interferences, were investigated. The linear calibration graphs for Ni(II) and Co(II), determined individually and together, in the range from 1 × 10−8 to 70 × 10−8 mol L−1 and from 1 × 10−9 to 70 × 10−9 mol L−1 respectively, were obtained. The calculated limit of detection (LOD), for 30 s of the accumulation time, was 3 × 10−9 mol L−1 for Ni(II) in case of a single element’s analysis, whereas the LOD was 5 × 10−9 mol L−1 for Ni(II) and 3 × 10−10 mol L−1 for Co(II), when both metal ions were measured together. The repeatability of the Ni(II) and Co(II) adsorptive stripping voltammetric signals obtained at the RBiABE were equal to 5.4% and 2.5%, respectively (n = 5). Finally, the proposed method was validated by determining Ni(II) and Co(II) in the certified reference waters (SPS-SW1 and SPS-SW2) with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A novel potentiometric zirconium - PVC matrix membrane sensor incorporating bis(diphenylphosphino) ferrocene as an electroactive material and tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate as solvent mediator is described. In mixed acetate buffer solution of pH 4.8, the sensor displays a rapid and linear response for zirconium ion over the concentration range 1.0 × 10−1 to 1.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 with a good slope of 59.7 ± 0.3 mV per decade and detection limit 1.8 × 10−8 mol L−1. The best performance was obtained with membrane composition 33% PVC, 65% TEHP, 1% NaTPB and 1% ionophore. The proposed electrode revealed excellent selectivity for zirconium ion over a wide variety of alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions and could be used in a pH range of 4.15-7.8. The electrode was applied for at least 1 month without any considerable divergence in the potential responses. The practical utility of the electrode has been demonstrated by its use as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of zirconium ions with sodium fluoride and in determination of zirconium ion in some alloy, tape and waste water samples.  相似文献

A new kind of near-infrared fluorescence agent, tricarbochlorocyanine dye (Cy.7.Cl), had been synthesized in house and used for near-infrared spectrofluorimetric determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) by flow injection analysis (FIA) for the first time. The oxidation reaction of Cy.7.Cl with H2O2 occurred under the catalysis of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and it was studied in detail. The possible reaction mechanism was discussed. Under optimal experimental conditions, fluorescence from Cy.7.Cl displayed excitation and emission maxima (ex/em) at 780 and 800 nm, respectively. The two linear working ranges were 1.86 × 10−7 to 4.11 × 10−7 mol L−1 and 4.11 × 10−7 to 7.19 × 10−6 mol L−1, respectively. The detection limit was 5.58 × 10−8 mol L−1 of H2O2. The effect of interferences was studied. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of hydrogen peroxide in rainwater, serum and plant samples.  相似文献

Electropolymerization of 3,3′-diaminobenzidine on a gold surface gave an adherent, stable film of poly(3,3′-diaminobenzidine) (PDAB). This polymer film retained the complexational functionalities of its monomer, demonstrating preconcentration abilities for several ions, including Se(IV) and Te(IV). In particular, in this work, continuous flow and flow injection methods were developed for the sensitive and selective determination of Te(IV). The optimized method for the continuous flow mode had a detection limit of 5.6×10−9 mol l−1 for 10 min preconcentration. Typical relative standard deviations for six consecutive determinations were 1.82 and 2.56% for Te(IV) concentrations of 1.0×10−6 and 5.0×10−8 mol l−1, respectively (10 min preconcentration). The method was applied to the determination of Te(IV) in real samples.  相似文献

A new PVC membrane strontium ion-selective electrode has been constructed using 6-(4-nitrophenyl)-2-phenyl-4,4-dipropyl-3,5-diaza-bicyclo[3,1,0] hex-2-ene (NPDBH) as a neutral ionophore. The electrode was prepared with 7% NPDBH (as ionophore), 57% acetophenone (as plasticizer), 30% PVC and 6% oleic acid (as lipophilic additive). The electrode responds to Sr2+ ion with a sensitivity of 28.2 ± 0.5 mV/decade over the range 1.0 × 10−6-1.0 × 10−1 mol L−1 and in a pH range of 3.0-10.0. The limit of detection was 2.4 × 10−7 mol L−1. It has a response time of <20 s and can be used for at least three months without any divergence in potentials. The proposed electrode shows good discrimination of Sr2+ ion from several cations. The effect of organic solvents on electrode response was examined. The results show that this electrode can be used in ethanol media up to 15% (v/v) concentration without interference. The isothermal temperature coefficient of this electrode amounted to 0.00019 V/°C. The electrode was found to work well under laboratory conditions. It was successfully applied to the determination of strontium ions in human urine and bone digests.  相似文献

Three main types of creatinine potentiometric membrane sensors are described. They are based on the use of dibenzo-30-crown-10 (DB30C10) with potassium tetrakis(p-chlorophenyl)borate type (I), dibenzo-30-crown-10 alone type (II), and potassium tetrakis(p-chlorophenyl)borate alone type (III), incorporating in poly(vinyl chloride) matrix membrane plasticized with either o-nitrophenyl octyl ether or dioctylphthalate. The sensors are used for quantification of creatinine after soaking the membranes in 0.1 M creatinine solution for 2 days. The sensors show almost the same potentiometric response characteristics. Sensor type (I) exhibits Nernstian responses over a concentration range of 5.0 × 10−5 mol l−1-1.0 × 10−2 mol l−1 creatinine with cationic slopes of 59.5 ± 0.1 and 60 ± 0.2 mV decade−1 and detection limits of 1.1 × 10−5 mol l−1 and 8 × 10−6 mol l−1 creatinine, over the pH range of 3.5-6.5 and 3.5-7.0, for o-NPOE and DOP solvent mediators, respectively. Sensor type (II) displays Nernstian responses over a concentration range of 6.0 × 10−5 mol l−1-1.0 × 10−2 mol l−1 creatinine with cationic slopes of 60.0 ± 0.1 and 65.0 ± 0.2 mV decade−1 and detection limits of 1.5 × 10−5 mol l−1 and 1.4 × 10−5 mol l−1 creatinine over the pH range of 2.6-6.2 and 2.5-6.0, for o-NPOE and DOP solvent mediators, respectively. Sensor type (III) shows Nernstian responses over a concentration range of 7.0 × 10−5 mol l−1-1.0 × 10−2 mol l−1 creatinine with cationic slopes of 60 ± 0.1 and 62.0 ± 0.2 mV decade−1 and detection limits of 2.7 × 10−5 mol l−1 and 2.0 × 10−5 mol l−1 creatinine over the pH range of 2.5-6.0, for o-NPOE and DOP solvent mediators, respectively. The response times of the sensors for 10−3 mol l−1 creatinine solution are instantaneous (4-10 s). The sensors show long-term stability with life span of ∼6 months. The sensors are used for determination of serum creatinine of rats (Rattus Norvigicus) with mean R.S.D. of 2.62%, and the results agreed well with the Jaffe kinetic method.  相似文献
