Entangled quantum states are an important component of quantum computing techniques such as quantum error-correction, dense coding, and quantum teleportation. We use the requirements for a state in the Hilbert space C 2 C 2 to be entangled to find when states evolving under the two-point Hubbard model become entangled. We also investigate the connection of entanglement and discrete symmetries of the two-point Hubbard model. Furthermore we discuss the inclusion of phonon coupling.  相似文献

Metal-insulator and CDW-SDW transitions are studied in the one-dimensional Extended Hubbard Model at half-filling by analysing the behaviour of local entanglement in fermionic systems. 1D traditional Hubbard model exhibits metal-insulator transition at critical point Uc = 0, where local entanglement reaches its maximum value. Moreover, a transition between charge- and spin-density- wave (CDW-SDW) occurs in 1D Extended Hubbard Model tUV with long-range interaction at straight line U = 2 V. The analysis of our obtained results shows that CDW-SDW transition has curious properties whose can be used in quantum information processing.

We derive exact expressions for the local entanglement entropy epsilon in the ground state of the one-dimensional Hubbard model at a quantum phase transition driven by a change in magnetic field h or chemical potential mu. The leading divergences of delta epsilon/delta h and delta epsilon/delta mu are shown to be directly related to those of the zero-temperature spin and charge susceptibilities. Logarithmic corrections to scaling signal a change in the number of local states accessible to the system as it undergoes the transition.  相似文献

Using a mean-field theory based upon Hartree-Fock approximation, we theoretically investigate the competition between the metallic conductivity, spin order and charge order phases in a two-dimensional half-filled extended Hubbard model on anisotropic triangular lattice. Bond order, double occupancy, spin and charge structure factor are calculated, and the phase diagram of the extended Hubbard model is presented. It is found that the interplay of strong interaction and geometric frustration leads to exotic phases, the charge fluctuation is enhanced and three kinds of charge orders appear with the introduction of the nearest-neighbor interaction. Moreover, for different frustrations, it is also found that the antiferromagnetic insulating phase and nonmagnetic insulating phase are rapidly suppressed, and eventually disappeared as the ratio between the nearest-neighbor interaction and on-site interaction increases. This indicates that spin order is also sensitive to the nearest-neighbor interaction. Finally, the single-site entanglement is calculated and it is found that a clear discontinuous of the single-site entanglement appears at the critical points of the phase transition.  相似文献

We study the “asymmetric” Hubbard model, where hoppings of electrons depend on their spin. For strong interactions and sufficiently asymmetric hoppings, it is proved that the ground state displays phase separation away from half-filling. This extends a recent result obtained with Freericks and Lieb for the Falicov–Kimball model. It is based on estimates for the sum of lowest eigenvalues of the discrete Laplacian in arbitrary domains.  相似文献

We study the asymptotic scaling of the entanglement of a block of spins for the ground state of the one-dimensional quantum Ising model with transverse field. When the field is sufficiently strong, the entanglement grows at most logarithmically in the number of spins. The proof utilises a transformation to a model of classical probability called the continuum random-cluster model, and is based on a property of the latter model termed ratio weak-mixing. In an intermediate result, we establish an exponentially decaying bound on the operator norm of differences of the reduced density operator. Of special interest is the mathematical rigour of this work, and the fact that the proof applies equally to a large class of disordered interactions.  相似文献

We study the pseudogaps in the spectra of the 2D Hubbard model using both finite-size and dynamical cluster approximation (DCA) quantum Monte Carlo calculations. At half-filling, a charge pseudogap, accompanied by non-Fermi-liquid behavior in the self-energy, is shown to persist in the thermodynamic limit. The DCA (finite-size) method systematically underestimates (overestimates) the width of the pseudogap. A spin pseudogap is not seen at half-filling. At finite doping, a divergent d-wave pair susceptibility is observed.  相似文献

We investigate the thermal entanglement in theLipkin-Meshkov-Glick (LMG) model which consists of spin-1/2 particles with XXZ-type exchange interactions between any pair of them. The ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) cases are completely analyzed at both finite temperature and zero temperature. According to the results obtained by accurate numerical calculation, several interesting physic phenomena and characteristics of thermal
entanglement in the LMG model are found. Not only do we evaluate the entanglement of the LMG model, but also discover the correlations between macroscopic physical quantities and thermal entanglement.  相似文献

The effects of anisotropy and magnetic field on multipartite entanglement of ground state in Heisenberg XY model are investigated. The multipartite entanglement increases as a function of the inverse strength of the external field when the degree of anisotropy is finite. There are two peaks when the degree of anisotropy is γ=±1. When the degree of anisotropy increases further, the multipartite entanglement will decrease and tend to a constant. The threshold of the inverse strength of the external field for generating multipartite entanglement generally decreases with the increasing of qubits.  相似文献

In the present paper, we investigate the existence of ferromagnetism in a two-band Hubbard model, by applying a recently-introduced method by us to study ferromagnetism in metallic clusters. We prove rigorously that the ground state of this model is ferromagnetic if the intra-orbital Coulomb repulsion between electrons is infinitely strong and only one hole exists in the system. Our theorem improves a previous result. Furthermore, our method can also be applied to deal with the case of multiple holes.  相似文献

A variational approach is proposed to study some properties of the adiabatic Holstein–Hubbard model which describes an assembly of fermionic charges interacting with a static atomic lattice. The sum of the electronic energy and the lattice elastic energy is proved to have minima with a many-polaron structure in a certain domain of model parameters. Our analytical work consists in expanding these energy minima from the zero electronic transfer limit which remarkably holds for a finite amplitude of the onsite Hubbard repulsion and for an unbounded lattice size.  相似文献

We study dynamical properties of quantum entanglement in the Dicke model with and without the rotating-wave approximation. Specifically, we investigate the maximal entanglement and mean entanglement which reflect the underlying chaos in the system, and a good classical-quantum correspondence is found. We also show that the maximal linear entropy can be more sensitive to chaos than the mean linear entropy.  相似文献
