In this paper we study homological properties of modules over an affine Hecke algebra H. In particular we prove a comparison result for higher extensions of tempered modules when passing to the Schwartz algebra S, a certain topological completion of the affine Hecke algebra. The proof is self-contained and based on a direct construction of a bounded contraction of certain standard resolutions of H-modules.This construction applies for all positive parameters of the affine Hecke algebra. This is an important feature, since it is an ingredient to analyse how the irreducible discrete series representations of H arise in generic families over the parameter space of H. For irreducible non-simply laced affine Hecke algebras this will enable us to give a complete classification of the discrete series characters, for all positive parameters (we will report on this application in a separate article).  相似文献

We define an analogue of the Casimir element for a graded affine Hecke algebra $ \mathbb{H} $ , and then introduce an approximate square-root called the Dirac element. Using it, we define the Dirac cohomology H D (X) of an $ \mathbb{H} $ -module X, and show that H D (X) carries a representation of a canonical double cover of the Weyl group $ \widetilde{W} $ . Our main result shows that the $ \widetilde{W} $ -structure on the Dirac cohomology of an irreducible $ \mathbb{H} $ -module X determines the central character of X in a precise way. This can be interpreted as p-adic analogue of a conjecture of Vogan for Harish-Chandra modules. We also apply our results to the study of unitary representations of $ \mathbb{H} $ .  相似文献

The Hecke group algebra of a finite Coxeter group , as introduced by the first and last authors, is obtained from by gluing appropriately its 0-Hecke algebra and its group algebra. In this paper, we give an equivalent alternative construction in the case when is the finite Weyl group associated to an affine Weyl group W. Namely, we prove that, for q not a root of unity of small order, is the natural quotient of the affine Hecke algebra H(W)(q) through its level 0 representation. The proof relies on the following core combinatorial result: at level 0 the 0-Hecke algebra H(W)(0) acts transitively on . Equivalently, in type A, a word written on a circle can be both sorted and antisorted by elementary bubble sort operators. We further show that the level 0 representation is a calibrated principal series representation M(t) for a suitable choice of character t, so that the quotient factors (non-trivially) through the principal central specialization. This explains in particular the similarities between the representation theory of the 0-Hecke algebra and that of the affine Hecke algebra H(W)(q) at this specialization.  相似文献

Let be the affine Hecke algebra corresponding to the group GLl over a p-adic field with residue field of cardinality q. We will regard as an associative algebra over the field . Consider the -module W induced from the tensor product of the evaluation modules over the algebras and . The module W depends on two partitions λ of l and μ of m, and on two non-zero elements of the field . There is a canonical operator J acting on W; it corresponds to the trigonometric R-matrix. The algebra contains the finite dimensional Hecke algebra Hl+m as a subalgebra, and the operator J commutes with the action of this subalgebra on W. Under this action, W decomposes into irreducible subspaces according to the Littlewood–Richardson rule. We compute the eigenvalues of J, corresponding to certain multiplicity-free irreducible components of W. In particular, we give a formula for the ratio of two eigenvalues of J, corresponding to the “highest” and the “lowest” components. As an application, we derive the well known q-analogue of the hook-length formula for the number of standard tableaux of shape λ.  相似文献

We define a higher level version of the affine Hecke algebra and prove that, after completion, this algebra is isomorphic to a completion of Webster's tensor product algebra of type A. We then introduce a higher level version of the affine Schur algebra and establish, again after completion, an isomorphism with the quiver Schur algebra. An important observation is that the higher level affine Schur algebra surjects to the Dipper-James-Mathas cyclotomic q-Schur algebra. Moreover, we give nice diagrammatic presentations for all the algebras introduced in this paper.  相似文献

We give a detailed account of a combinatorial construction, due to Cherednik, of cyclic generators for irreducible modules of the affine Hecke algebra of the general linear group with generic parameter q.  相似文献

We introduce the spin Hecke algebra, which is a q-deformation of the spin symmetric group algebra, and its affine generalization. We establish an algebra isomorphism which relates our spin (affine) Hecke algebras to the (affine) Hecke-Clifford algebras of Olshanski and Jones-Nazarov. Relation between the spin (affine) Hecke algebra and a nonstandard presentation of the usual (affine) Hecke algebra is displayed, and the notion of covering (affine) Hecke algebra is introduced to provide a link between these algebras. Various algebraic structures for the spin (affine) Hecke algebra are established.  相似文献

We prove a conjecture of Miemietz and Kashiwara on canonical bases and branching rules of affine Hecke algebras of type D. The proof is similar to the proof of the type B case in Varagnolo and Vasserot (in press) [15].  相似文献

We give an interpretation of the double affine Hecke algebra of Cherednik as a (suitably regularized) algebra of double cosets of a group by a subgroup , extending the well-known interpretations of the finite and affine Hecke algebras. In this interpretation, consists of -points of a simple algebraic group, where is a 2-dimensional local field such as or , and is a certain analog of the Iwahori subgroup.

In this paper we show that the Deligne-Langlands-Lusztig classification of simple representations of an affine Hecke algebra remains valid if the parameter is not a root of the corresponding Poincaré polynomial. This verifies a conjecture of Lusztig proposed in 1989.

Given an irreducible module for the affine Hecke algebraH n of type A, we consider its restriction toH n–1. We prove that the socle of restriction is multiplicity free and moreover that the summands lie in distinct blocks. This is true regardless of the characteristic of the field or of the order of the parameterq in the definition ofH n . The result generalizes and implies the classical branching rules that describe the restriction of an irreducible representation of the symmetric groupS n toS n–1.Both authors would like to thank Gus Lehrer and the University of Sydney for their hospitality while this paper was edited into its final form.  相似文献

We introduce the generic central character of an irreducible discrete series representation of an affine Hecke algebra. Using this invariant we give a new classification of the irreducible discrete series characters for all abstract affine Hecke algebras (except for the types En(1){E_{n}^{(1)}} , n=6, 7, 8) with arbitrary positive parameters and we prove an explicit product formula for their formal degrees (in all cases).  相似文献

This paper has two main purposes. Firstly, we generalise Ram’s combinatorial construction of calibrated representations of the affine Hecke algebra to the multi-parameter case (including the non-reduced BC n case). We then derive the Plancherel formulae for all rank 1 and rank 2 affine Hecke algebras, using our calibrated representations to construct all representations involved.  相似文献

We prove a series of conjectures of Enomoto and Kashiwara on canonical bases and branching rules of affine Hecke algebras of type B. The main ingredient of the proof is a new graded Ext-algebra associated with quiver with involutions that we compute explicitly.  相似文献
