We construct generalized Gaudin systems in an external magnetic field corresponding to arbitrary so(3)-valued non-skew-symmetric r-matrices with spectral parameters and non-homogeneous external magnetic fields. In the case of r -matrices diagonal in the sl(2) basis we calculate the spectrum and the eigen-values of the corresponding generalized Gaudin hamiltonians using the algebraic Bethe ansatz. We explicitly consider several one-parametric families of non-skew-symmetric classical r-matrices and the corresponding generalized Gaudin systems in a magnetic field. We apply these results to fermionic systems and obtain a wide class of new integrable fermionic BCS-type hamiltonians. 相似文献

We determine the structure of two variations on the Temperley-Lieb algebra, both used for dealing with special kinds of boundary conditions in statistical mechanics models. The first is a new algebra, the blob algebra. We determine both the generic and all the exceptional structures for this two parameter algebra. The second is the periodic Temperley-Lieb algebra. The generic structure and part of the exceptional structure of this algebra have already been studied. We complete the analysis using results from the study of the blob algebra. 相似文献

We consider a class of vertex models describing directed lines on a lattice in arbitraryd dimensions, and solve the model exactly for the Cartesian lattice and in the case that each loop of lines carries a fugacity - 1. Our analysis, which can be carried out for arbitrary lattices, is based on an equivalence of the vertex model with a dimer problem. The dimer problem is, in turn, solved using the method of Pfaffians. It is found that the system is frozen below a critical temperatureT

Continuing the earlier work on soliton sectors, we determine all finite energy representations of the XY model for almost all parameter values. In the interior of unique vacuum regions of parameters (i.e. the large external magnetic field region ||>1), the unique irreducible vacuum representation is the only finite energy representation.At the critical values of the parameters (||=1 as well as theXY symmetric case =0, ||1), there is an infinite number of mutually nonequivalent irreducible finite energy representations. Apart from the unique irreducible ground state representation and another associated irreducible representation, these infinite number of representations arise from an infinite number of nearly zero energy excitations of the ground state with a finite total energy and may be called infrared representations.In the remaining cases, as have been studied earlier, there are two additional irreducible finite energy representations besides two irreducible ground state representations and they are topological soliton sectors with different ground state limits in positive and negative spatial infinity. We consider the Hubbard model on a finite set of sites with nonpositive hopping matrix elements and infinitely strong on-site repulsion. Nagaoka's theorem states that in this model the relative ground state in the sector with one unoccupied site is maximally ferromagnetic. We show that this phenomenon is a consequence of a combinatorial coincidence valid in the one-hole regime only. In the case of more than one hole there is no reason to expect maximally ferromagnetic ground states. We prove this claim for the case of two holes for models defined on a class of graphs which contains all tori that are not too small. 相似文献
