A femtosecond light pulse at 480 nm in wavelength was generated during filamentation of an intense 808 nm femtosecond laser pulse propagating along the x axis and polarized between the y and z axes of a KTP crystal. It was proven that the parametric amplification process by a fourth-order nonlinear polarization (chi(4)(omega(2),omega,omega,omega,-omega(1)) induces frequency generation at 480 nm, where the pump light comes from the incident laser and the seed light comes from the generated supercontinuum by filamentation. The wavelength of the generated signal could be turned from 460 to 520 nm by adjusting the propagation direction in the crystal.  相似文献

Exact product operator solutions have been obtained for the evolution of weakly coupled spin-(1/2) I(m)S(n) systems during arbitrary RF irradiation of one spin. These solutions, which completely characterize the nature of J-coupling modulation during RF pulses, show that significant exchange occurs between single-spin magnetization and two-spin product operator states when the RF field strength is comparable to the coupling. In particular, a long (t(p) = [2J](-1) s), low-power (B(1) = J/2 Hz), constant amplitude pulse applied on resonance to one spin in an IS system completely interconverts the spinstates S(z) <--> 2S(x)I(z) and S(x) <--> 2S(z)I(z) when the RF is applied to the S spins, and interconverts S(x) <--> 2S(y)I(y) in 100% yield when the RF is applied to the I spins. Thus, these "J pulses," which select a bandwidth approximately equal to J Hz, may replace any combination of a (2J)(-1) delay period and a consecutive hard 90 degrees pulse in any polarization transfer or multiple quantum sequence. Although these rectangular pulses are highly frequency selective, in general they increase the replaced (2J)(-1) period by only a modest 40%, a time saving of a factor of 5 compared to existing pulses exhibiting the same selectivity. In favorable cases, there is no increase in duration of a pulse sequence using a particular type of J pulse, the 90(J) variety, which accomplishes the third spin state transformation listed above. J pulses will be advantageous for systems subject to rapid signal loss from relaxation and more generally for the enhanced operation of pulse sequences via the use of J modulation during RF irradiation.  相似文献

It is shown that the spectral degree of polarization rho(r, omega) of a fluctuating electromagnetic beam which is completely coherent throughout a domain D is necessarily the same at every point in D. It can take on any value in the range 0 < or = rho < or = 1. In particular, the fully coherent beam can be completely polarized or completely unpolarized throughout D.  相似文献

Temperature- and x-dependent Raman scattering studies of the charge-density-wave (CDW) amplitude modes in Cu(x)TiSe(2) show that the amplitude mode frequency omega(0) exhibits identical power-law scaling with the reduced temperature T/T(CDW) and the reduced Cu content x/x(c), i.e., omega(0) approximately (1-p)(0.15) for p=T/T(CDW) or x/x(c), suggesting that mode softening is independent of the control parameter used to approach the CDW transition. We provide evidence that x-dependent mode softening in Cu(x)TiSe(2) is associated with the reduction of the electron-phonon coupling constant, and that x-dependent "quantum" (T approximately 0) mode softening suggests the presence of a quantum critical point within the superconductor phase of Cu(x)TiSe(2).  相似文献

The anisotropic surface free energy, Andreev surface free energy and equilibrium crystal shape (ECS) z = z(x,y) are calculated numerically using a transfer matrix approach with the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method. The adopted surface model is a restricted solid-on-solid (RSOS) model with 'sticky' steps, i.e. steps with a point-contact-type attraction between them (p-RSOS model). By analyzing the results, we obtain a first-order shape transition on the ECS profile around the (111) facet; and on the curved surface near the (001) facet edge, we obtain shape exponents having values different from those of the universal Gruber-Mullins-Pokrovsky-Talapov (GMPT) class. In order to elucidate the origin of the non-universal shape exponents, we calculate the slope dependence of the mean step height of 'step droplets' (bound states of steps) (n(p)) using the Monte Carlo method, where p = (?z/?x,?z/?y) and (·) represents the thermal average. Using the result of the |p| dependence of (n(p)), we derive a |p|-expanded expression for the non-universal surface free energy f(eff)(p), which contains quadratic terms with respect to |p|. The first-order shape transition and the non-universal shape exponents obtained by the DMRG calculations are reproduced thermodynamically from the non-universal surface free energy f(eff)(p).  相似文献

We use the numerical renormalization group method to calculate the single-particle matrix elements T of the many-body T matrix of the conduction electrons scattered by a magnetic impurity at T=0 temperature. Since T determines both the total and the elastic, spin-diagonal scattering cross sections, we are able to compute the full energy, spin, and magnetic field dependence of the inelastic scattering cross section sigma(inel)(omega). We find an almost linear frequency dependence of sigma(inel)(omega) below the Kondo temperature T(K), which crosses over to a omega(2) behavior only at extremely low energies. Our method can be generalized to other quantum impurity models.  相似文献

The electrostatics of two charged surfactant layers in aqueous media (surfactant/water/surfactant films) is investigated using molecular dynamics simulations. In the films studied (with a surfactant-surfactant distance from approximately 35 A to contact) we observe an anomalous dielectric response of water. The electrostatic potential phi(z) inside the aqueous core of the films (containing bulk water with rho=1 g/cm(3)) is completely different from that expected for a film containing a dielectric medium with the dielectric constant of water. In addition, our results are not consistent with a local relation between the water polarization P(z)(z) and the electric field E(z)(z). The polarization P(z)(z) is maximum at the interfaces (due to solvent molecules forming part of the structure of the surfactant layers) and decays from the interfaces inside the aqueous core with a decay length of order of approximately 10 A.  相似文献

Spin-orbit (SO) splitting, +/-omega(SO), of the electron Fermi surface in two-dimensional systems manifests itself in the interaction-induced corrections to the tunneling density of states, nu(epsilon). Namely, in the case of a smooth disorder, it gives rise to the satellites of a zero-bias anomaly at energies epsilon = +/-2 omega(SO). Zeeman splitting, +/-omega(Z), in a weak parallel magnetic field causes a narrow plateau of a width delta epsilon = 2 omega(Z) at the top of each sharp satellite peak. As omega(Z) exceeds omega(SO), the SO satellites cross over to the conventional narrow maxima at epsilon = +/-2 omega(Z) with SO-induced plateaus delta epsilon = 2 omega(SO) at the tops.  相似文献

We compute the frequency and magnetic field dependencies of the reflectivity R(omega) in layered superconductors with two alternating intrinsic Josephson junctions with different critical current densities and quasiparticle conductivities for the electric field polarized along the c axis. The parameter alpha describing the electronic compressibility of the layers and the charge coupling of neighboring junctions was extracted for the SmLa1-xSr xCuO (4-delta) superconductor from two independent optical measurements, the fit of the loss function L(omega) at zero magnetic field and the magnetic field dependence of the peak positions in L(omega). The experiments are consistent with a free electron value for alpha.  相似文献

基于光谱分析的甜橙内在品质检测技术近年得到较快发展,但目前采用的大多为单一品质指标的光谱分析,而甜橙果实品质往往取决于果实多项品质指标的共同作用。本研究的目的在于研究甜橙果实反射光谱与果实内在品质的相关性,筛选与哈姆林甜橙果实多个品质指标同步相关的特征光谱,为建立甜橙果实在内品质的实时检测技术提供依据。以哈姆林甜橙(Citrus sinensis (L) cv. Hamlin sweet orange)成熟果实为试材,逐个果实进行果实反射光谱和果实可溶性固形物(TSS)、柠檬酸、维生素C(Vc)含量和固酸比等在内品质主要参数的分析,对所获数据采用Excel,Spss Statg和View SpecPro软件进行统计与分析。结果表明,哈姆林甜橙果实TSS、固酸比和Vc均与波长988 nm近红外光反射光谱呈极显著或显著正相关,相关系数分别为0.387**,0.440**和0.309*,TSS和固酸比与该波长反射率的最佳拟合方程分别为y=13.957x+5.405和y=75.120x+37.256;可见光429 nm光谱二阶导数与TSS和Vc呈显著和极显著正相关,相关系数分别为0.350 72*和0.386 9**。波长944 nm近红外光谱倒数对数与固酸比呈显著正相关(r=0.304*)。试验结果为柑桔果实内在品质主要参数的同步、快速无损检测奠定了基础。  相似文献

Experiments in heavy-fermion metals and related theoretical work suggest that critical local-moment fluctuations can play an important role near a zero-temperature phase transition. We study such fluctuations at the quantum critical point of a Kondo impurity model in which the density of band states vanishes as /epsilon/(r) at the Fermi energy (epsilon=0). We analyze the current in a superconducting point contact of arbitrary transmission in the presence of a microwave radiation. The interplay between the ac Josephson current and the microwave signal gives rise to Shapiro steps at voltages V = (m/n)h(omega)(r)/2e, where n,m are integer numbers and omega(r) is the radiation frequency. The subharmonic steps (n not equal 1) are a consequence of multiple Andreev reflections (MAR) and provide a signature of the peculiar ac Josephson effect at high transmission. Moreover, the dc current exhibits a rich subgap structure due to photon-assisted MARs.  相似文献

The perturbation method is used to study the localization of electric field distribution and the effective nonlinear response of graded composites under an external alternating-current (AC) and direct-current (DC) electric field Eapp = E0 (1+sin ωt). The dielectric profile of the cylindrical inclusions is modeled by function εi (r) = Ck rk (r ≤ a), where r is the radius of the cylindrical inclusion, and Ck, k, a are parameters. In the dilute limit, the local potentials and the effective nonlinear responses at all harmonics are derived. Meanwhile, the general effective nonlinear responses are also derived and compared with the effective nonlinear responses at harmonics under the AC and DC external field. It is found that the effective nonlinear AC and DC responses at harmonics can be calculated by those of the general effective nonlinear of the graded composites under the external DC electric field. Moreover, the obtained local electrical fields show that the electrical field distribution in the cylindrical inclusions is controllable, and the maximum of the electric field inside the cylinder is at its center.  相似文献

Transmission spectra, T(H), of linearly polarized electromagnetic waves through YFeO(3), weak ferromagnet, measured at frequencies nu=96-1000 GHz in long-pulsed magnetic fields (H||k||c-axis, Faraday geometry) exhibit strong rotation of the polarization plane near the quasiferromagnetic AFMR as well as low frequency impurity modes. New ascending impurity branch including five lines was observed at high magnetic field (10-30 T) at 96 GHz and 140 GHz in addition to the known low-field descending impurity branch. Behavior of all the impurity modes assigned to transitions in (6)S(5/2) multiplet of Fe(3+) "impurity" ions in c-sites was described self-consistently by one spin-Hamiltonian. A theoretical calculation of dynamical magnetic susceptibility at AFMR and impurity modes and further simulation of transmission spectra made it possible to describe the main features of the observed spectra T(H). It was found that the T(H) behavior is determined at resonances not only by non-diagonal components of the magnetic susceptibility but also by the anisotropy of the dielectric permittivity (epsilon(xx)(') not equal epsilon(yy)(')), i.e. birefringence.  相似文献

We consider the spin-1/2 model on the honeycomb lattice in the presence of a weak magnetic field hα < 1. Such a perturbation destroys the exact integrability of the model in terms of gapless fermions and static Z2 fluxes. We show that it results in the appearance of a long-range tail in the irreducible dynamic spin correlation function: ∝ h(z)(2)f(t,r), where f(t,r) ∝ [max(t,r)]-4 is proportional to the density polarization function of fermions.  相似文献

Ensemble averages of the sensitivity to initial conditions xi(t) and the entropy production per unit of time of a new family of one-dimensional dissipative maps, x(t+1)=1-ae(-1/|x(t)|(z))(z>0), and of the known logisticlike maps, x(t+1)=1-a|x(t)|(z)(z>1), are numerically studied, both for strong (Lyapunov exponent lambda(1)>0) and weak (chaos threshold, i.e., lambda(1)=0) chaotic cases. In all cases we verify the following: (i) both [ln((q)x triple bond (x(1-q)-1)/(1-q); ln((1)x=ln(x] and [S(q) triple bond (1- sigma p(q)(i))/(q-1); S(1)=- sigma p(i)ln(p(i)] linearly increase with time for (and only for) a special value of q, q(av)(sen), and (ii) the slope of and that of coincide, thus interestingly extending the well known Pesin theorem. We report on a measurement of the parity-violating asymmetry in the scattering of longitudinally polarized electrons on unpolarized protons at a Q2 of 0.230 (GeV/c)(2) and a scattering angle of theta (e) = 30 degrees - 40 degrees. Using a large acceptance fast PbF2 calorimeter with a solid angle of delta omega = 0.62 sr, the A4 experiment is the first parity violation experiment to count individual scattering events. The measured asymmetry is A(phys)=(-5.44+/-0.54(stat)+/-0.26(sys))x10(-6). The standard model expectation assuming no strangeness contributions to the vector form factors is A(0) = (-6.30+/-0.43) x 10(-6). The difference is a direct measurement of the strangeness contribution to the vector form factors of the proton. The extracted value is G(s)(E) + 0.225G(s)(M) = 0.039+/-0.034 or F(s)(1) + 0.130F(s)(2) = 0.032+/-0.028.  相似文献

The role of chemical composition on dielectric, piezoelectric and electromechanical properties of PLZT x/90/10 has been investigated. The Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 90/10 and (Pb,La)(Zr,Ti)O3 x/90/10 ceramics with 2 and 3 at. % of lanthanum with starting stoichiometries corresponding with A– and B – site compensating valence substitutions were prepared. In order to present the differences due to appearance the vacancies in Pb or Zr (Ti) sublattice, polarization and strain behavior versus electric field were performed. For antiferroelectric PLZT 3A/90/10 the polarization and strain , at electric field E=5kV/mm, were achieved.  相似文献
