The efficient, regioselective synthesis of functionalized/annulated quinolines was achieved by the coupling of 2‐aminoaryl ketones with alkynes/active methylenes/α‐oxoketene dithioacetals promoted by InCl3 in refluxing acetonitrile as well as under solvent‐free conditions in excellent yields. This transformation presumably proceeded through the hydroamination–hydroarylation of alkynes, and the Friedländer annulation of active methylene compounds and α‐oxoketene dithioacetals with 2‐aminoarylketones. In addition, simple reductive and oxidative cyclization of 2‐nitrobenzaldehyde and 2‐aminobenzylalcohol, respectively, afforded substituted quinolines. Systematic optimization of the reaction parameters allowed us to identify two‐component coupling (2CC) conditions that were tolerant of a wide range of functional groups, thereby providing densely functionalized/annulated quinolines. This approach tolerates the synthesis of various bioactive quinoline frameworks from the same 2‐aminoarylketones under mild conditions, thus making this strategy highly useful in diversity‐oriented synthesis (DOS). The scope and limitations of the alkyne‐, activated methylene‐, and α‐oxoketene dithioacetal components on the reaction were also investigated.  相似文献

Scope and limitations of 1,4‐anhydro sugars as precursors of glycofuranosyl building blocks are described. The experiments revealed that the choice of the substituents is very important for an efficient preparation as well as a successful ring‐opening reaction of 1,4‐anhydro sugars. DFT Calculations suggest that selective protonation of 1,4‐anhydro sugars is the key to the selective ring opening in order to afford only furanosides.  相似文献

Sulfonyl indoles, as well as related azolyl derivatives, have been recently introduced in synthesis as stable precursors of reactive indolenine intermediates. This personal account reports on the discovery of sulfonyl azoles and their practical utilization in many synthetic processes for the preparation of functionalized 3‐substituted indoles, indazoles, and pyrroles. The indolenine intermediates obtained by treatment of sulfonyl azoles with Brønsted bases or Lewis acids can be considered as vinylogous imino derivatives that can be made to react with different nucleophilic reagents. These include organometallic reagents, reducing agents, stabilized carbanions, and heteronucleophiles. The controlled and mild conditions for the generation of indolenines from sulfonyl azoles make these substrates particularly useful in asymmetric synthesis, exploiting organo‐ or metal‐catalyzed processes. Although less exploited, sulfonyl indoles can also be involved in photochemical processes for the preparation of polycyclic derivatives.

A novel class of β‐functionalized push–pull zinc opp ‐dibenzoporphyrins were designed, synthesized, and utilized as sensitizers for dye‐sensitized solar cells. Spectral, electrochemical, and computational studies were systematically performed to evaluate their spectral coverage, redox behavior, and electronic structures. These porphyrins displayed much broader spectral coverage and more facile oxidation upon extension of the π conjugation. Free‐energy calculations and femtosecond transient absorption studies (charge injection rate in the range of 1011 s−1) suggested efficient charge injection from the excited singlet state of the porphyrin to the conduction band of TiO2. The power conversion efficiency (η ) of YH3 bearing acrylic acid linkers (η =5.9 %) was close to that of the best ruthenium dye N719 (η =7.4 %) under similar conditions. The superior photovoltaic performance of YH3 was attributed to its higher light‐harvesting ability and more favorable electron injection and collection, as supported by electrochemical impedance spectral studies. This work demonstrates the exceptional potential of benzoporphyrins as sensitizers for dye‐sensitized solar cells.  相似文献

A simple synthesis of sodium 2‐phosphanaphthalene‐3‐olate ( 1 ) based on the extrusion of N2 from phthalazine using Na[OCP] is reported. This heterocycle can be readily functionalized at the negatively charged oxygen center using a variety of electrophilic substrates. The coordination chemistry of both 1 and its neutral derivatives was explored, revealing their facile use as P‐donor ligands for late‐transition‐metal complexes.  相似文献

The photoinitiated thiol?ene addition reaction is a highly stereo‐ and regioselective, and environmentally friendly reaction proceeding under mild conditions, hence it is ideally suited for the synthesis of carbohydrate mimetics. A comprehensive study on UV‐light‐induced reactions of 2,3‐unsaturated O‐, C‐, S‐ and N‐glycosides with various thiols was performed. The effect of experimental parameters and structural variations of the alkenes and thiols on the efficacy and regio‐ and stereoselectivity of the reactions was systematically studied and optimized. The type of anomeric heteroatom was found to profoundly affect the reactivity of 2,3‐unsaturated sugars in the thiol?ene couplings. Hydrothiolation of 2,3‐dideoxy O‐glycosyl enosides efficiently produced the axially C2‐S‐substituted addition products with high to complete regioselectivity. Moderate efficacy and varying regio‐ and stereoselectivity were observed with 2,3‐unsaturated N‐glycosides and no addition occurred onto the endocyclic double bond of C‐glycosides. Upon hydrothiolation of 2,3‐unsaturated S‐glycosides, the addition of thiyl radicals was followed by elimination of the thiyl aglycone resulting in 3‐S‐substituted glycals.  相似文献

The synthesis of donor–acceptor‐type 2,5‐diarylthiazoles that bear electron‐donating N,N‐dialkylamine and electron‐withdrawing cyano groups at the 2‐ and 5‐position, respectively, were carried out with transition‐metal‐catalyzed C? H arylation reactions developed by us. The compounds were synthesized by the C? H arylation of unsubstituted thiazole at the 2‐position with a palladium/copper catalyst in the presence of tetrabutylammonium fluoride (TBAF) as an activator. Further C? H arylation of the 2‐arylated thiazole at the 5‐position was carried out by the palladium‐catalyzed reaction in the presence of silver(I) fluoride to afford the donor–acceptor‐type 2,5‐diarylthiazoles with N,N‐dialkylamine groups of different chain lengths. The UV/Vis absorption, photoluminescence, and electrochemical behavior were similar regardless of chain length, whereas liquid‐crystalline behavior and thermal characteristics were found to be dependent on the alkyl‐chain length. The compounds with N,N‐diethylamine or N‐butyl‐N‐methyl groups showed a stable liquid‐crystalline phase over a wide temperature range as well as higher stability to thermal decomposition.  相似文献

By a flexible three‐component synthesis, alkoxy‐substituted enamides are easily available from lithiated alkoxyallenes, nitriles and carboxylic acids (see scheme). The treatment of these versatile intermediates with trifluoroacetic acid provided 5‐acetyloxazoles in moderate to good yields. Different substituents are possible at C‐2 and C‐5 and the 5‐acetyl group is a suitable handle for further synthetic transformations.

A concise synthetic approach to functionalized α‐methylidenebutanolactams has been developed. The synthetic strategy is based on the preliminary assembly of the lactam template equipped with appropriate functionalities. Subsequent installation of the methylidene by a metalation/alkylation/elimination sequence completed the elaboration of the racemic title compounds.  相似文献

We describe the synthesis as well as the optical and charge‐transport properties of a series of donor–acceptor (D‐A) ladder‐type heteroacenes. These molecules are stable, soluble, and contain up to 24 fused rings. Structural analyses indicated that the backbones of S 10r and Se 10r are bent in single crystals. The three 10‐ring heteroacenes were functionalized with thiol anchoring groups and used for single‐molecular conductance measurements. The highest conductance was observed for molecular wires containing a benzoselenadiazole (BSD) moiety, which exhibits the narrowest band gap. Multiple charge‐transport pathways were observed in molecular wires containing either benzothiadiazole (BTD) or BSD. The conductance is a complex function of both energy gap and orbital alignment.  相似文献

Several N‐linked glycoproteins have been identified in archaea and there is growing evidence that the N‐glycan is involved in survival and functioning of archaea in extreme conditions. Chemical synthesis of the archaeal N‐glycans represents a crucial step towards understanding the putative function of protein glycosylation in archaea. Herein the first total synthesis of the archaeal L ‐asparagine linked hexasaccharide from Methanothermus fervidus is reported using a highly convergent [3+3] glycosylation approach in high overall yields. The synthesis relies on efficient preparation of regioselectively protected thioglycoside building blocks for orthogonal glycosylations and late stage N‐aspartylation.  相似文献

Cycloaddition reaction of 2,5‐bis(trifluoromethyl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole with strained olefinic bonds of norbornenes was used to synthetize functionalized polynorbornanes. This simple, one step procedure was more effective when reaction was carried out by classical heating, in comparison to microwave‐assisted reactions. Various functional groups were stable in the reaction conditions (ester, imide, phthalimide, piperidyl, and carboxylic acid), whereas anhydride, N‐Boc, or TMS functionalities do not withstand reaction conditions.  相似文献
