There are lots of results on the solutions of the heat equation but much less on those of the Hermite heat equation due to that its coefficients are not constant and even not bounded. In this paper, we find an explicit relation between the solutions of these two equations, thus all known results on the heat equation can be transferred to results on the Hermite heat equation, which should be a completely new idea to study the Hermite equation. Some examples are given to show that known results on the Hermite equation are obtained easily by this method, even improved. There is also a new uniqueness theorem with a very general condition for the Hermite equation, which answers a question in a paper in Proc. Japan Acad. (2005). In this paper we study the super-critical 2D dissipative quasi-geostrophic equation. We obtain some regularization effects allowing us to prove a global well-posedness result for small initial data lying in critical Besov spaces constructed over Lebesgue spaces Lp, with p∈[1,∞]. Bandle et al. [1] obtained a quite interesting result about a semilinear heat equation that the Fujita exponent relative to the whole hyperbolic space is just the same as that relative to bounded domain in Euclidean space, and, in addition, the properties of solutions are different in the critical exponent case. Our purpose is to answer an open problem proposed by Bandle et al. for the critical exponent case, and it, together with the one obtained by them, shows that the critical exponent case does belong to the non-blow-up case, which is completely different from the case in Euclidean space.  相似文献

In this paper, we study Keller-Segel systems with fractional diffusion and a nonlocal term. We establish the global existence, uniqueness and stability of solutions for systems with small initial data in critical Besov spaces. A nonlinear backward heat problem for an infinite strip is considered. The problem is ill-posed in the sense that the solution (if it exists) does not depend continuously on the data. Two aims are pursued in this article. The first one is methodological and consists of demonstrating the symmetry calculation techniques based on the commutation relation on the example of the quasi-linear heat equation. The second one consists of investigating the following open question: is the algebra of higher symmetries of the linear heat equation exhausted by those which may be obtained by means of the classical symmetries and well-known recursion operators? We study the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear heat equation ut-?u=|u|p-1u in RN. The initial data is of the form u0=λ?, where ?C0(RN) is fixed and λ>0. We first take 1<p<pf, where pf is the Fujita critical exponent, and ?C0(RN)∩L1(RN) with nonzero mean. We show that u(t) blows up for λ small, extending the H. Fujita blowup result for sign-changing solutions. Next, we consider 1<p<ps, where ps is the Sobolev critical exponent, and ?(x) decaying as |x|-σ at infinity, where p<1+2/σ. We also prove that u(t) blows up when λ is small, extending a result of T. Lee and W. Ni. For both cases, the solution enjoys some stable blowup properties. We develop a theory of both linear and nonlinear heat equations in the weighted Lebesgue spaces , where is the distance to the boundary. In particular, we prove an optimal estimate for the heat semigroup, and we establish sharp results on local existence-uniqueness and local nonexistence of solutions for semilinear heat equations with initial values in those spaces. This theory enables us to obtain new types of results concerning positive global solutions of superlinear parabolic problems. Namely, under certain assumptions, we prove that any global solution is uniformly bounded for by a universal constant, independent of the initial data.
