Gamma-gamma directional correlation measurements were made on nine transitions in 124Te with a NaI(Tl)-Ge(Li) detector arrangement and multichannel analysis. The multipole mixing ratios obtained were δ(646) = 0.000±0.001, δ(714) = 1.5−0.3+0.6, δ(723) = −3.3±0.2, δ(1437) = 3.7−2.0+2.7, δ(1489) = −3.4−1.5+0.9, δ(968) = −0.03−0.05+0.06, δ(1368) = −0.045±0.090, δ(1045) = 0.041−0.041+0.047, δ(1691) = −0.02±0.01, and δ(2091) = 0.00−0.03+0.02. The first δ is M3/E2, the next three are E2/M1, and the last five are M2/E1. The retardation (a factor of approximately 50) of the crossover to cascade transitions from the 2039 keV, third 2+ level to the second and first 2+ levels is essentially the same for both the M1 and E2 components. In addition, spin and parity assignments of 2+ were made for the 2039 and 2092 keV levels.  相似文献

The mean lives of the lowest seven excited states of 27Mg were measured in the 26Mg(d, pγ) reaction with two different versions of the Doppler-shift attenuation method. Mean lives of τm = 1.4±0.3, 1.15±0.20, 0.89±0.16, 0.10±0.05, < 0.08, < 0.075 and 0.64±0.15 ps were found for the levels at Ex = 984, 1698, 1940, 3109, 3476, 3558 and 3762 keV, respectively. Gamma-ray angular distribution and γ-γ angular correlation measurements lead to the following mixing ratios: δ(1940 → 984 keV) = +0.05±0.04 and δ(984 → 0 keV) = −0.22±0.02. The deduced transition strengths are discussed in the framework of the Nilsson model.  相似文献

A large solid angle detector has been used to observe two body events produced by electron-positron collisions in the Orsay storage ring. From the π+π excitation curve in the ? region we have deduced the amplitude and the phase of the ω-? interference, and the ? resonance paramaters: M? = (775.4±7.3) MeV, Γ? = (149.6 ± 23.2) MeV, √B(ωπ+π) = 0.19 ± 0.05, φ = (85.7 ± 15.3)0, σ(e+e?) = (1.00 ± 0.13) μb at S = M?2, B(?e+e = (4.1 ± 0.5) × 10−5, Γ(?e+e) = (6.1 ± 0.7) keV, (g?2/4π) = 2.26 ± 0.25, (g?ππ2/4π) = 2.84 ± 0.50.  相似文献

Using γ-γ(θ), γ(θ) (nuclear orientation) and ek-γ(θ) directional correlation techniques, we have determined the multipole character of some transitions connecting the quadrupole and octupole quasi-vibrational bands to the ground state quasi-rotational band in 152Gd following the decay of 152Tb. For the γ-γ directional correlation measurements a high-energy resolution system employing a Ge(Li) and a NaI(Tl) detector was used while for the ek-γ correlation we used a NaI(Tl) and magnetic lens spectrometer system. The nuclear orientation measurements were carried out at low temperatures obtained with a 3He-4He dilution refrigerator. The results show that the 2+ → 2+ transition between the β-vibrational and the ground state bands contains ≈ 10% Ml admixture, δ = − 3.05 ± 0.14, and a large E0 contribution while the similar transition from the γ-vibrational band has δ = 4.3 ± 0.7. These results are compared with Kumar's predictions for similar transitions in 152Sm. Three other mixing ratios were also determined.  相似文献

Data are presented and cross sections given for ф and f′ production in the channel K+p → K+pKK? at 10 Gev/c. The resonance parameters obtained from a fit to the KK? effective mass distribution are M = (1020.4 ± 0.5) MeV/c2 and Γ = (5.0 ± 1.3) MeV/c2 for the ф meson and M = (1514 ± 4) MeV/c2 and Γ = (28 ± 15) MeV/c2 for the f′. The resonance widths are corrected for experimental resolution. The branching fraction for the rate (ф → K01K02)/(ф → K+K) is determined to be 1.15 ± 0.15. The angular distributions for the decay of the f′ have unnormalized moments H(2,0) and H(4,0) different from the values for the nearby background, indicating spin 2 or greater for the f′.  相似文献

Hyperfine structure on the 110 → 111 rotational transition in H2CO was measured using a two-cavity maser spectrometer with 0.3 kHz resolution. The measured spin-rotation constants are C(110) = −0.80 ± 0.05 kHz and C(111) = −3.07 ± 0.05 kHz. The hydrogen spin-spin interaction strength is D = 17.74 ± 0.10 kHz. The line center is at 4 829 659.89 ± 0.12 kHz. Properties of the beam source and computer line resolving methods are discussed briefly.  相似文献

The electric monopole contribution to the 689 keV 2β → 2g transition in 152Sm is studied by measuring the 689K-122γ directional correlation. The result for the directional correlation coefficient is a2 (Kγ) = 0.10±0.05. This value is used together with earlier electron and γ-ray intensity data to evaluate the E0/E2 electron amplitude and the M1 penetration parameter. The corresponding E0/E2 mixing ratio is compared with recent theoretical predictions.  相似文献

The proof is given for the existence of the reaction e+e → h±h? in the energy range 1400–2400 MeV, and its energy dependence is compared with that of e+e → e±e?, in the same experimental conditions of observation. The exponent of the s-dependence of the ratio α = (e+e → h±h?)/ (e+e → e±e?) is measured to be n = 2.08 ± 0.45, in the s-range (1.96 − 5.76) GeV2, on the basis of 51 e+e → h±h? events and 8918 e+e → e±e? events observed.  相似文献

The pure rotational Raman spectra of CS2 in the 0000 and 0110 vibrational states have been observed using a low power HeNe laser (λ = 6328 Å) and a high resolution plane grating spectrograph. The ΔJ = 2 transitions with J = odd in the 0110 state are clearly resolved from the ground state transitions thus allowing the determination of some upper state rotational constants. The molecular constants determined in this work are for the 0000 ground state, B0000 = 0.10912 ± 0.7 × 10−5 cm−1, (DJ)0000 = (0.83 ± 0.18) × 10−8 cm−1 and for the 0110 excited state B0110c = 0.10935 ± 0.00002 cm−1 and (DJ)0110c = (1.5 ± 0.6) × 10−8 cm−1.  相似文献

A new method, using spark chambers, for the study of the reactions π± + p → ?± + p is described. The charged pion and both γ rays from the π± decay are detected. Differential and integrated cross sections σπ+=50 ± 9 μb, σπ=47 ± 9 μb) for 0.0 ?|t|?1. (GeV/c)2 and a laboratory momentum (pLab) of 15 GeV/c are presented. The momentum dependence of σγ± is well fitted from 2.7 to 16 GeV/c by σ = KpLab with nγ+ = 1.80 ± 0.80 and nγ = 1.87 ± 0.15.  相似文献

The study of ρ-ω mixing has mainly focused on vector meson decays with isospin I=1, namely the ρ(ω)→π+π- process. In this paper, we present a study of ρ-ω mixing in ρ(ω)→π+π-π0 (I=0) using a flavor parameterization model for the J/ø→ VP process. By fitting a theoretical framework to PDG data, we obtain the SU(3)-breaking effect parameters sV=0.03±0.12, sP=0.17±0.17 and the ρ-ω mixing polarization operator ρω=(0.006±0.011) GeV2. New values are found for the branching ratios when the mixing effect is incorporated: Br(J/ψ→ ωπ0) = (3.64 ±0.37)×10-4, Br(J/ψ→ ωη) = (1.48 ±0.17)×10-3, Br(J/ψ→ ωη') = (1.55±0.56)×10-4, these are different from the corresponding PDG2012 values by 19%, 15% and 15%, respectively.  相似文献

In a study of the reaction πp → π+πn at 15 GeV/c we observe pronounced ?-ω interference effects between the transverse helicity states of the vector mesons. The relative phase of the interfering amplitudes is determined to be −1.40 ± 0.45 rad, and the branching ratio ω → 2π is found to be 2.1−0.9+2.8%.  相似文献

Structures in the photoionization cross-section spectra below the extrinsic edge of the doubly charged sulfur donor (613 meV) are attributed to the two-step photothermal excitation process in which the bound electron at the ground state first makes an optical transition to an excited state and it is then thermally released from the excited state to the conduction band. A weak peak (cross-section 7 × 10−19 cm2)at 425 meV is attributed to the intervalley optical transition 1s(A1)→1s(T2). Peak observed at 570 meV (10−17 cm2) is attributed to the 1s(A1→2p0 intervalley optical transition and the peak at 591 meV (3 × 10−17 cm2) to the 1s(A1)→2p± intravalley optical transition. Data for electron bound at the neutral gold center has no structures which is consistent with the lack of excited states of a neutral impurity potential.  相似文献

The K∗− spectrum in the reaction K+p → K∗−+p has been measured at beam momenta 10.9, 13.4 and 15.9 GeV/c using the missing mass technique. Production of the L(1770), and a Q-K(1420) enhancement are observed. Differential cross sections in the range of momentum transfer 0.12 < | tpp | < 0.40 (GeV/c)2 are given. The L meson is observed with a width Γ = 100 ± 26 MeV. The mass spectrum between the L and 2.5 GeV does not show significant structure.  相似文献

EPR study of the Cr3+ ion doped l-histidine hydrochloride monohydrate single crystal is done at room temperature. Two magnetically inequivalent interstitial sites are observed. The hyperfine structure for Cr53 isotope is also obtained. The zero field and spin Hamiltonian parameters are evaluated from the resonance lines obtained at different angular rotations and the parameters are: D=(300±2)×10−4 cm−1, E=(96±2)×10−4 cm−1, gx=1.9108±0.0002, gy=1.9791±0.0002, gz=2.0389±0.0002, Ax=(252±2)×10−4 cm−1, Ay=(254±2)×10−4 cm−1, Az=(304±2)×10−4 cm−1 for site I and D=(300±2)×10−4 cm−1, E=(96±2)×10−4 cm−1, gx=1.8543±0.0002, gy=1.9897±0.0002, gz=2.0793±0.0002, Ax=(251±2)×10−4 cm−1, Ay=(257±2)×10−4 cm−1, Az=(309±2)×10−4 cm−1 for site II, respectively. The optical absorption studies of single crystals are also carried out at room temperature in the wavelength range 195-925 nm. Using EPR and optical data, different bonding parameters are calculated and the nature of bonding in the crystal is discussed. The values of Racah parameters (B and C), crystal field parameter (Dq) and nephelauxetic parameters (h and k) are: B=636, C=3123, Dq=2039 cm−1, h=1.46 and k=0.21, respectively.  相似文献

Emission spectra of the 0-0 band of the a1ΔgX3Σg magnetic dipole transition of S2 have been observed in the near-infrared spectral region near 4400 cm−1. The S2 molecules were generated in a fast-flow system by passing Sx or S2Cl2 vapor in Ar carrier gas through a microwave discharge and were excited by electronic-to-electronic energy transfer from metastable singlet oxygen O2(a1Δg). Medium-resolution spectra of the b1Σ+gX3Σg and a1ΔgX3Σg transitions of S2 were measured with a Fourier-transform spectrometer. By comparing the bandshape of the 0-0 band of the aX system with a computer simulation calculated with literature data of the rotational constants of the X and a states, the origin of the 0-0 band was determined to be ν0=4394.25±0.2 cm−1.  相似文献

The M2 widths and M2/E1 mixing ratios in transitions of the form 1−1 → 2+ from nuclear levels at about 7 MeV excitation in 74Ge, 100Mo, 112Cd and 186W have been measured. The M2 widths are found to be about the same average magnitude as the M2 widths in nuclei with A < 40.  相似文献

We have measured the isotope shift between 41K and 39K in the 4s1/2 → 5p1/2 transition at 405 nm using saturation spectroscopy. Our measured isotope shift is 456.1 ± 0.8 MHz, implying a residual isotope shift (sum of specific mass shift and field shift) of −52.7 ± 0.8 MHz. We deduce a specific mass shift of −40 ± 5 MHz, which would imply that the 5p1/2 state has a considerably larger specific mass shift than the 4p1/2 state. We have in addition measured the 5p1/2 hyperfine splitting for 41K.  相似文献
