Six new triorganotin complexes ( 1a – 1c and 2a – 2c ) of 5‐(salicylideneamino)salicylic acid, [5‐(3‐X‐2‐HOC6H3CH═N)‐2‐HOC6H3COO]SnR3 (X = H, 1 ; CH3O, 2 ; R = Ph, a ; Cy, b ; CH2C(CH3)2Ph, c ), have been synthesized by one‐pot reaction of 5‐aminosalicylic acid, salicylaldehyde and triorganotin hydroxide and characterized using elemental analysis and infrared and NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectra. The crystal structures of 1a , 1b , 2a ·CH3OH, 2b ·CH3OH and 2c ·CHCl3 have been determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In non‐coordinated solvent CDCl3, the tin atoms in the complexes are all four‐coordinated. In the crystalline state, these compounds adopt a four‐ or five‐coordination mode. Complex 1a exhibits a 44‐membered macrocyclic tetrameric structure with trigonal bipyramidal geometry around the tin atoms in which the axial positions are occupied by the oxygen atom of carboxylate group of the ligand and the phenolic oxygen atom from the adjacent ligand. The coordination geometry of tin atom in 1b and 2c ·CHCl3 is a distorted tetrahedron shaped by three carbon atoms of alkyl groups and a carboxylate oxygen atom of the ligand. In 2a ·CH3OH and 2b ·CH3OH, the tin atom has a distorted trans‐C3SnO2 trigonal bipyramidal geometry formed by three alkyl groups, a monodentate carboxylate group and a coordinated methanol molecule. The molecules of 2a ·CH3OH and 2b ·CH3OH are linked via O─H···O hydrogen bonds into a one‐dimensional supramolecular chain and a centrosymmetric R44(22) macrocycle, respectively. Bioassay results against two human tumor cell types (A549 and HeLa) show the complexes are efficient cytostatic agents and may be explored as potential antitumor drugs. 相似文献

AbstractFriedelan-3-one (1) and friedelane-3,16-dione (2) isolated from leaves and branches of Maytenus robusta Reissek were subjected to structural modifications via nucleophilic addition to the carbonyl group and Baeyer-Villiger oxidation in order to synthesize potential cytotoxic compounds. The oximes friedelane-3-hydroxyimino (3) and 3-hydroxyiminofriedelan-16-one (4) together with the lactones friedelane-3,4-lactone (5) and 3,4-lactonefriedelan-16-one (6) were characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopic analyses. Compounds 4 and 6 are reported for the first time. Cytotoxic screening via MTT assay in human leukemia cell lines (THP-1 and K562) demonstrated no significant improvement of compounds 3-6 when compared to the starting materials. Only compounds 3 and 5 demonstrated an improvement against K562 cells. However, the same assay on ovarian and breast cancer cell lines (TOV-21G and MDA-MB-231) showed a reduction in the IC50 for compounds 4-6, indicating that ring A modifications may enhance the biological potential. 相似文献

Seven diorganotin complexes with the Schiff bases derived from salicylaldehyde and l-tyrosine, R2Sn[2-O-5-XC6H3CH?=?NCH(CH2C6 H4OH-4)COO] (X?=?H (1), Br (2); R?=?Me (a), Et (b), Bu (c), Cy (cyclohexyl) (d)), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectra, and the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In methanol, the racemization of chiral center of l-tyrosinate fragment occurred and the racemic products were obtained. X-ray analyses of 1c, 1d, and 2a–2c showed that the tin atoms of the complexes exhibit distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometries. In 1c, 1d, and 2c, the intermolecular O–H???O hydrogen bonds connected the molecules into 1-D supramolecular chain or a R22(20) macrocyclic dimer, and 2a and 2b formed the 2-D supramolecular network by the intermolecular Sn???O and O–H???O interactions. Bioassay results indicated that 1a, 1c, and 1d had moderate antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and 1c, 1d, and 2c belonged to the efficient cytostatic agents against two human tumor cell lines (A549 and HeLa) and the activity tends to follow the order Cy > Bu?>?Et?>?Me for the R group attached to tin. 相似文献

The synthesis, characterization and cytotoxic properties in vitro of tri‐n‐butyltin 1‐(4‐chlorobenzoyl)‐5‐methoxy‐2‐methyl‐1H‐indole‐3‐acetate ( 1 ), tri‐phenyltin 1‐(4‐chlorobenzoyl)‐5‐methoxy‐2‐methyl‐1H‐indole‐3‐acetate ( 2 ), tetra‐n‐butyltin[bis‐1‐(4‐chlorobenzoyl)‐5‐methoxy‐2‐methyl‐1H‐indole‐3‐acetato]distannoxane ( 3 ) and di‐n‐butyltin bis‐1‐(4‐chlorobenzoyl)‐5‐methoxy‐2‐methyl‐1H‐indole‐3‐acetate ( 4 ) are described. These compounds have been characterized by 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy in solution and 119Sn NMR in the solid state, infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis and X‐ray diffraction for compound 1 . The growth inhibition effects of compounds 1–4 against the lung adenocarcinoma cell line SK‐LU‐1 as well as the cervical cancer cell line HeLa were determined. Two novel bismuth succinate hydrates, namely, poly[[diaqua(μ3-butane-1,4-dicarboxylato)hemi(μ-butane-1,4-dicarboxylato)bismuth] monohydrate], {[Bi(C4H4O4)1.5(H2O)2]·H2O}n ( 1 ), and poly[[μ-aqua-aqua(μ3-butane-1,4-dicarboxylato)(μ-butane-1,4-dicarboxylato)-μ-oxido-dibismuth] monohydrate], {[Bi2(C4H4O4)2O(H2O)2]·H2O}n ( 2 ), have been synthesized. Their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and the compounds were characterized by IR and Raman spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis. The crystal structure analysis revealed that the compounds are coordination polymers, with 1 having a two-dimensional layered structure and 2 displaying a three-dimensional (3D) framework. Fully deprotonated succinate anions (C4H4O42−) in two different conformations (trans and gauche) are included in their composition. The Bi3+ cations are surrounded by O atoms from the carboxylate groups of succinate anions and aqua ligands. BiO9 coordination polyhedra in 1 are connected in pairs by edges. These pairs are bound together by bridging succinate ligands to form layers. Bismuth coordination polyhedra of two different types (BiO9 and BiO7) in 2 are connected by edges to form infinite ribbons. Ribbons of polyhedra with bridging succinate ligands form a 3D polymeric structure. 相似文献

Two organotin(IV) compounds were synthesized from salicylaldehyde nicotinoyl hydrazone and the corresponding dialkyltin(IV) precursor. Their structures were determined by IR, elemental analysis, NMR, and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1 exhibits a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry around tin, which is coordinated to the Schiff-base ligand in an enolic tridentate fashion. For 2, structural analysis reveals that it is a centro-symmetric trimer, in which the central Sn adopts a six-coordinate octahedral geometry and the other two Sn ions adopt five-coordinate trigonal bipyramidal geometry. In vitro cytotoxicities of the compounds against three human cisplatin-resistant tumor cell lines (A549, HeLa, and MCF-7) were assessed by MTT assay. Further, the interaction of 1 and 2 with bovine serum albumin (BSA) has been explored by the titration method with fluorescence quenching spectra and synchronous ?uorescence spectra. Studies reveal that di-n-butyltin(IV) complex 1 with significant antiproliferative effects in the cells shows stronger BSA interaction. 相似文献

A new diorganotin(IV) complex with the formula SnCl2(CH3)2L2 ( C1a ), L = 4‐NC5H4CONHPO(NCH3CH2C6H5)2, was synthesized and characterized using 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P NMR, 119Sn NMR and infrared spectroscopies. The molecular structure of C1a was determined using X‐ray crystallography, revealing that C1a contains hexa‐coordinated Sn(IV) centres with trans‐configuration of donor atoms around them. Each Sn(IV) atom is positioned in the centre of inversion of an octahedron. C1a forms one‐dimensional chains via two equal intermolecular P?O…H? N hydrogen bonds. These hydrogen bonds produce centrosymmetric rings as a supramolecular hydrogen‐bonded pattern. In order to compare the relative stability of C1a (with N‐ligated configuration) and its possible O‐ligated isomer, C1b , density functional theory calculations were performed, the results showing a preference of C1a over C1b from an energy point of view. Also, natural bond orbital analysis was carried out to obtain detailed information on the electronic features of the optimized structures. The theoretical results show that intermolecular hydrogen bonding in the crystal structure has a significant role in the stabilization of C1a , and Sn(IV) interacts more strongly with the Npy atom than the P?O functional group. Furthermore, the free ligand and its complex were tested against three human cancer cell lines, i.e. human cervical carcinoma (HeLa), human prostate cancer (PC‐3) and human breast adenocarcinoma cancer (MCF‐7). C1a displays moderate to good cytotoxicity towards all three cancer cell lines. Moreover, antibacterial tests were carried out using the disc‐diffusion method, in which C1a shows high activity against selected Gram‐negative and Gram‐positive bacteria. The coordination of ruthenium(II) complexes to anionic oxygen-based donors are very rare. This study describes a simple, one-pot method for obtaining [ruthenium(II)(trithiacyclononane)(curcumin)(S-DMSO)]Cl (1) in 37% yield. The structural characterization of complex 1 by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1-D and 2-D NMR, ESI+-MS as well as UV–vis and fluorescence spectroscopies are presented. The DNA-melting temperature (Tm) assay shows that salmon sperm DNA (smDNA) in the presence of complex 1 has a higher melting temperature, with ΔTm = 7.4 °C, while in the presence of curcumin the melting temperature remains unaltered. The in vitro cytotoxic activities of curcumin and complex 1 were investigated using the tumor human prostate cell line, PC-3, and the healthy cell line, PNT-2. Complex 1 is innocuous toward normal prostate epithelial cells and, whereas curcumin is toxic, with inhibition rates of ca. 35 and 65% at 50 and 80 μM, respectively. On the tumor cell line PC-3, complex 1 did not cause viability changes, whereas curcumin exhibited dose-dependent inhibition, with ca. 73% inhibition at the highest concentration tested, i.e. 80 μM. This study suggests that coordination with the trithiacyclononane ruthenium(II) scaffold stabilizes the photochemical properties of curcumin and strongly changes its biologic activity. 相似文献

Four new diorganotin(IV) complexes of N‐(5‐halosalicylidene)tryptophane, R2Sn[5‐X‐2‐OC6H3CH?NCH(CH2Ind)COO] [Ind = 3‐indolyl; R, X = Et, Cl ( 1 ); Et, Br( 2 ); n‐Bu, Cl ( 3 ); n‐Bu, Br ( 4 )], were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectra. The crystal structures of complexes 1 – 3 were determined by X‐ray single crystal diffraction and showed that the tin atoms are in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry and form five‐ and six‐membered chelate rings with the tridentate ligand. Intermolecular weak interactions in 1–3 link molecules, respectively, into a two‐dimensional array, a one‐dimensional infinite chain and a one‐dimensional double‐chain supramolecular structure. Bioassay results of the compounds indicated that the dibutyltin complexes 3 and 4 have potent in vitro cytotoxic activity against two human tumor cell lines, CoLo205 and Bcap37, while the diethyltin complexes 1 and 2 display weak cytotoxic activity. Four titanium(IV) carboxylate complexes [Ti(η5-C5H5)2(O2CCH2SMes)2] (1), [Ti(η5-C5H4Me)2(O2CCH2SMes)2] (2), [Ti(η5-C5H5)(η5-C5H4SiMe3)(O2CCH2SMes)2] (3) and [Ti(η5-C5Me5)(O2CCH2SMes)3] (4; Mes = 2,4,6-Me3C6H2) have been synthesised by the reaction of the corresponding titanium derivatives [Ti(η5-C5H5)2Cl2], [Ti(η5-C5H4Me)2Cl2], [Ti(η5-C5H5)(η5-C5H4SiMe3)Cl2] and [Ti(η5-C5Me5)Cl3] and two (for 1–3) or three (for 4) equivalents of mesitylthioacetic acid. Complexes 1–4 have been characterized by spectroscopic methods and the molecular structure of the complexes 1, 2 and 4 have been determined by X-ray diffraction studies. The cytotoxic activity of 1–4 was tested against tumor cell lines human adenocarcinoma HeLa, human myelogenous leukemia K562, human malignant melanoma Fem-x, and normal immunocompetent cells, that is peripheral blood mononuclear cells PBMC and compared with those of the reference complexes [Ti(η5-C5H5)2Cl2] (R1), [Ti(η5-C5H4Me)2Cl2] (R2), [Ti(η5-C5H5)(η5-C5H4SiMe3)Cl2] (R3) and cisplatin. In all cases, the cytotoxic activity of the carboxylate derivatives was higher than that of their corresponding dichloride analogues, indicating a positive effect of the carboxylato ligand on the final anticancer activity. Complexes 1–4 are more active against K562 (IC50 values from 72.2 to 87.9 μM) than against HeLa (IC50 values from 107.2 to 142.2 μM) and Fem-x cells (IC50 values from 90.2 to 191.4 μM). 相似文献

The title compound, Cu4S10(4-methylpyridine)4 · 4-methylpyridine was prepared by three different reactions: the oxidation of copper power by sulfur and the reaction of copper (I) sulfide (or CuBr-SMe2) with cues sulfur, both in the coordinating solvent, 4-methylpyridine. The commpound has approximate S4 symmetry and consists of two pentasuffide chains linking four Cu(I) ions, each with a coordinating 2-methylpyridine. The infrared spectrum was dominated by absorption due to coodinated 4-methylpyridine with several low-energy peaks attributable to S-S stretches, which were also observed by Raman spectroscopy. A featureless electronic absorption spectrum yielded a single peak in the mar ultraviolet upon computer enhancement (=334 nm, = 10,000), most likely an intraligand transition. Cyclic voltammetry indicates that the polysulfide complex undergoes irreversible oxidation and reduction at +0.04 and –0.34 V vs. SCR respectively, at NS K in 4-methylpyridine when swept at 20 mV/sec. The electrochemical behavior was unvaried even at sweep rates as high as 100 V/sec. 相似文献

5,10,15,20‐Tetrakis[4‐(triorganostannyloxy)phenyl]porphyrins, (R3SnO)4TPP [2, R = Cy (a), Ph (b), PhC(CH3)2CH2 (c)], have been synthesized by the condensation of 4‐(triorganostannyloxy)benzaldehyde, 4‐(R3SnO)C6H4CHO (1), with pyrrole in the presence of BF3 followed by oxidation by p‐chloranil and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR, UV–visible and NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectra. The results of X‐ray single‐crystal diffraction show that 1a and 1b possess a trans‐C3SnO2 trigonal bipyramidal geometry with the axial positions occupied by the phenolate oxygen and formyl group oxygen of an adjacent molecule and form a one‐dimensional zigzag chain. In 2a, the macrocyclic core of the porphyrin is coplanar and each tin atom possesses a distorted tetrahedral geometry. These compounds (1 and 2) have potent in vitro cytotoxic activity against two human tumor cell lines – CoLo205 and MCF‐7 – and the activity decreases in the order Ph > Cy > PhC(CH3)2CH2 for the R group bound to tin.
