Twenty-two flavonoids were isolated from the leaves and stems of Sedum japonicum subsp. oryzifolium (Crassulaceae). Of these compounds, five flavonoids were reported in nature for the first time, and identified as herbacetin 3-O-xyloside-8-O-glucoside, herbacetin 3-O-glucoside-8-O-(2′′′-acetylxyloside), gossypetin 3-O-glucoside-8-O-arabinoside, gossypetin 3-O-glucoside-8-O-(2′′′-acetylxyloside) and hibiscetin 3-O-glucoside-8-O-arabinoside via UV, HR-MS, LC-MS, acid hydrolysis and NMR. Other seventeen known flavonoids were identified as herbacetin 3-O-glucoside-8-O-arabinoside, herbacetin 3-O-glucoside-8-O-xyloside, gossypetin 3-O-glucoside-8-O-xyloside, quercetin, quercetin 3-O-glucoside, quercetin 3-O-xylosyl-(1→2)-rhamnoside-7-O-rhamnoside, quercetin 3-O-rhamnoside-7-O-glucoside, kaempferol, kaempferol 3-O-glucoside, kaempferol 7-O-rhamnoside, kaempferol 3,7-di-O-rhamnoside, kaempferol 3-O-glucoside-7-O-rhamnoside, kaempferol 3-O-glucosyl-(1→2)-rhamnoside-7-O-rhamnoside, kaempferol 3-O-xylosyl-(1→2)-rhamnoside, kaempferol 3-O-xylosyl-(1→2)-rhamnoside-7-O-rhamnoside, myricetin 3-O-glucoside and cyanidin 3-O-glucoside. Some flavonol 3,8-di-O-glycosides were found in Sedum japonicum subsp. oryzifolium as major flavonoids in this survey. They were presumed to be the diagnostic flavonoids in the species. Flavonoids were reported from S. japonicum for the first time.  相似文献

A study on essential oil fractions of the Western Balkan endemic Sideritis romana L. subsp. purpurea (Tal. ex Benth.) Heywood collected in Montenegro is reported. The 24-h systematic steam distillation extraction procedure was performed. The gas chromatographic/mass spectrometric (GC/MS) analysis of the fractions showed γ-elemene and spathulenol as two main constituents, revealing a new chemotype of this plant species. Although varying in the content of these two main compounds, which makes the fractions quite different between each other, evaluation of the anti-Candida activity showed the lack of any significant efficacy.  相似文献

Helichrysum arenarium (L.) Moench (sandy everlasting) is the only species from genus Helichrysum Mill that grows spontaneously in Lithuania. The chemical composition of the essential oils (EOs) from inflorescences and leaves of H. arenarium wild plants was analysed by GC-MS. Palmitic (≤23.8%), myristic (≤14.9%) and lauric (6.1%) acids, n-nonanal (10.4%), and trans-β-caryophyllene (≤6.5%) were the major constituents in the EOs. For comparison, the main components in EO from flowers (commercial herb material) of H. italicum were γ-curcumene (21.5%), β-selinene (13.6%), α-selinene (8.1%), β-eudesmol (8.3%), and α-pinene (6.5%). Composition of H. arenarium methanolic extracts was investigated by HPLC-DAD-TOF. The main compounds were the following: luteolin-7-O-glucoside, naringenin and its glucoside, apigenin, chlorogenic acid, arenol, and arzanol. Antioxidant activity of EOs and extracts was tested by DPPH and ABTS●+ assays. Sandy everlasting extracts exhibited significantly higher radical scavenging activities (for leaves 11.18 to 19.13 and for inflorescences 1.96 to 6.13 mmol/L TROLOX equivalent) compared to those of all tested EOs (0.25 to 0.46 mmol/L TROLOX equivalent). Antioxidant activity, assayed electrochemically by cyclic and square wave voltammetry correlated with total polyphenolic content in extracts and radical scavenging properties of EOs and extracts. The toxic activity of EOs of both Helichrysum species was evaluated using a brine shrimp (Artemia salina) bioassay. H. italicum inflorescence EO was found to be toxic (LC50 = 15.99 µg/mL) as well as that of H. arenarium (LC50 ≤ 23.42 µg/mL) oils.  相似文献

In this study, the methanolic and infusion extracts of two species, Thymbra capitata and Thymus sipyleus subsp. rosulans, were tested for their chemical composition and biological abilities (antioxidant, enzyme inhibitory and anti-inflammatory effects). The extracts yielded total phenolic and flavonoid contents in the range of 83.43–127.52 mg GAE/g and 9.41–46.34 mg RE/g, respectively. HPLC analysis revealed rosmarinic acid to be a major component of the studied extracts (15.85–26.43%). The best ABTS radical scavenging ability was observed in the methanol extract of T. capitata with 379.11 mg TE/g, followed by in the methanol extract of T. sipylus (360.93 mg TE/g). In the CUPRAC assay, the highest reducing ability was also found in the methanol extract of T. capitata with 802.22 mg TE/g. The phosphomolybdenum ability ranged from 2.39 to 3.61 mmol TE/g. In terms of tyrosinase inhibitory effects, the tested methanol extracts (83.18–89.66 mg KAE/g) were higher than the tested water extracts (18.74–19.11 mg KAE/g). Regarding the BChE inhibitory effects, the methanol extracts were active on the enzyme while the water extracts showed no inhibitory effect on it. Overall, the methanolic extracts showed better enzyme inhibition compared to the infusion extracts. Molecular docking also showed the selected exhibited potential binding affinities with all enzymes, with a preference for cholinesterases. Additionally, the extracts were effective in attenuating the LPS-induced increase in COX-2 and IL-6 gene expression in isolated colon, thus indicating promising anti-inflammatory effects. The preliminary results of this study suggest that these species are good natural sources of antioxidants and also provide some scope as enzyme inhibitors, most likely due to their bioactive contents such as phenolic acids, and thus can be exploited for different applications related to health promotion and disease prevention.  相似文献

In this study, the chemical compositions of the essential oils from aerial parts (JmA) and radices (JmR) of Jacobaea maritima (L.) Pelser & Meijden, collected in Croatia, and of Jacobaea maritima subsp. bicolor (Willd.) B. Nord. & Greuter, collected in Sicily, were evaluated by using gas chromatography and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. The main components of the essential oil from J. maritima, both in JmA and JmR, were pentacosane (15.7%), heptacosane (13.1%) and nonacosane (8.1%) whereas the essential oil from J. maritima subsp. bicolor was characterised by the presence of hexadecanoic acid (14.6%), caryophyllene oxide (9.3%) and hexahydrofarnesylacetone (6.5%). The comparison of the essential oil with other studied oils of the genus Jacobaea is discussed.  相似文献

On dehydration of La[Co(CN)6]·5H2O, the color of the complex, changes from white to pale blue at around 230°C. Heating the pale blue specimen, the color changes to deep blue at around 290°C. This deep blue specimen is easily rehydrated to a pink one. As reported previously, in the pale blue specimen, Co3+ ions are situated in the center of the D4h crystal field formed by six CN- ions. The deep blue specimen is due to the presence of [Co(CN)4]2- ions in which Co2+ was situated in a Td coordination field formed by four CN- ions and the Co-C bond length is 1.67 Ĺ. The pink species corresponded to trans-[Co(CN)4(H2O)2]2- and the bond lengths of Co-C and Co-O are 1.89 and 1.85 Ĺ, respectively. The Raman spectra of the complex observed at 25°C displays two bands at 2157 and 2176 cm-1 associated with the vibration of C-N bond, and the band of 2157 cm-1 was split into two bands, 2150 and 2156 cm-1, at around 100°C. When the complex was heated to around 230°C, three new bands were observed at 2103, 2116 and 2141 cm-1. The bands of 2103 and 2116 cm-1 were assigned to the stretching vibration of C=N bonding to Co2+. The band of 2141 cm-1 was assigned to the stretching vibration of the inverted CN- as follows: Co-C=N-La→Co-N=C-La. The activation energy for the inversion of CN- was estimated as 67 kJ mol-1. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Ln3UO6Cl3 (Ln=La, Pr, Nd) — The First Oxochlorouranates of the Rare Earths . The new compounds Ln3UO6Cl3 (Ln=La, Pr, Nd) were prepared by heating stoichiometric amounts of LnOCl/Ln2O3/U3O8 (7 : 1 : 1) (Ln=La, Nd) and PrOCl/Pr6O11/U3O8 (12 : 1 : 2) in silica ampoules (5 d, 1000°C, Ln=La; 9 d 800°C, Ln=Pr, Nd) in the presence of an excess of chlorine [p(Cl2, 25°C)=1 atm]. Single crystals were obtained by chemical transport reactions using chlorine [p(Cl2, 25°C)=1 atm] as transport agent [T2=1000°C→T1=900°C (Ln=La); T2=840°C→T1=780°C (Ln=Pr, Nd)]. Crystals of Ln3UO6Cl3 (Ln=La, Pr, Nd) were investigated by X-ray diffraction methods and La3UO6Cl3 additionally by high resolution electron microscopy. The compounds Ln3UO6Cl3 crystallize in the hexagonal spacegroup P63/m (No. 176) with Z=2 formula units per unit cell. Isotypical structure refinements resulted in R=3.04% respectively Rw=1.91% (Ln=La), R=4.72% respectively Rw=3.80% (Ln=Pr) and R=3.99% respectively Rw=2.49% (Ln=Nd). Uranium is coordinated with six oxygen atoms forming a trigonal prism. Lanthanide ions are 10-coordinated (6 oxygen atoms, 4 chlorine atoms).  相似文献
