For the Axiom-A attractors a relation is given between the topological pressure and the spectrum of the generalized Lyapunov exponents. As a consequence, a simple formula is found to compute the topological entropy of the attractor by means of a time series. The results are used to compute the large deviations for positive Lyapunov exponents.  相似文献

The analysis of dynamical systems in terms of spectra of singularities is extended to higher dimensions and to nonhyperbolic systems. Prominent roles in our approach are played by the generalized partial dimensions of the invariant measure and by the distribution of effective Liapunov exponents. For hyperbolic attractors, the latter determines the metric entropies and provides one constraint on the partial dimensions. For nonhyperbolic attractors, there are important modifications. We discuss them for the examples of the logistic and Hénon map. We show, in particular, that the generalized dimensions have singularities with noncontinuous derivative, similar to first-order phase transitions in statistical mechanics.  相似文献

We consider the adiabatic problem for general time-dependent quadratic Hamiltonians and develop a method quite different from WKB. In particular, we apply our results to the Schrödinger equation in a strip. We show that there exists a first regular step (avoiding resonance problems) providing one adiabatic invariant, bounds on the Liapunov exponents, and estimates on the rotation number at any order of the perturbation theory. The further step is shown to be equivalent to a quantum adiabatic problem, which, by the usual adiabatic techniques, provides the other possible adiabatic invariants. In the special case of the Schrödinger equation our method is simpler and more powerful than the WKB techniques.  相似文献
