This work reports the first structure–properties relationship study of ortho [2,1‐c]‐, meta [1,2‐a]‐, and para [1,2‐b]dihydroindenofluorenes, highlighting the influence of bridge rigidification on the electronic properties. This study has made it possible to devise an extended π‐conjugated molecule with both a high triplet state energy level and excellent thermal and morphological stability. As a proof of concept, dihydroindenofluorenes were used as the host in sky‐blue phosphorescent organic light‐emitting diodes (PhOLEDs) w ith high performance.  相似文献

Mechanoresponsive luminophores containing different substituted pyridine rings at the molecular terminus are synthesized and their photoluminescence properties are investigated. The solid chromophore with a 4‐substituted pyridine ring exhibits a reversible photoluminescent color change, while the 2‐substituted chromophore shows only a small change in luminescence, and the 3‐substituted chromophore displays an irreversible photoluminescent color change with mechanical grinding. A change of the sample color in response to mechanical grinding is also achieved for a dye‐dispersed poly(vinyl alcohol) film. Furthermore, a simultaneous acid and mechanoresponsive photoemission color change is achieved in the dye‐dispersed film.  相似文献

The mass spectrometric characterization of aqueous solutions of α‐ and β‐cyclodextrins (CDs) and o‐, m‐ and p‐coumaric acids (CAs) by negative ion electrospray ionization (ESI) indicates that the [CD+CA]? ions were sourced from the inclusion complex present in solution and from the anion attached to CD molecules formed in the spray processes. The anion adducts formed in the spray process contribute significantly to the signal intensity of an ionized inclusion complex thus overestimating the calculated stability constant (K) of solution‐phase complexes by one to two orders of magnitude. The relative intensities of anion adducts in mass spectra depend on the concentration ratio of the anion and the CD in spray droplets, while the relative intensity of the ionized inclusion complex depends on CD and CA concentrations in solutions and the value of K. Ion Mobility Spectrometry Mass Spectrometry [IMS‐MS] measurements show that the collision cross‐section (Ω) values of the [CD+CA]? or [(CD)2+CA]2? and [CD+CA] complex ions are 5–6% larger than or equal to CD? or [CD], respectively. Therefore, in the gas phase the anion adducts [CD+CA?] on cyclodextrin molecules possess the same conformations as the ionized inclusion complexes [CD+CA]?. Ten new ortho, meta and para substituted derivatives of 2‐benzylthio‐6‐aminouracils have been prepared. Electron Impact (EI) induced mass spectral fragmentation of these compounds was investigated. Fragmentation pathways are proposed on the basis of accurate mass and metastable transition measurements. The correlation between the intensities of the M+‐ and the selected fragment ions of these compounds is discussed. The data obtained create the basis for dinstinguishing isomers. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra of these compounds were assigned unambiguously using a combination of heteronuclear (HETCOR) spectra the chemical shifts. The data derived from these spectra can be used to differentiate the isomers.  相似文献

Ortho‐substituted and para‐substituted aminophenyl benzothiazoles were synthesised and characterised using NMR spectroscopy. A comparison of the proton chemical shift values reveals significant differences in the observed chemical shift values for the NH protons indicating the presence of a hydrogen bond in all ortho‐substituted compounds as compared to the para compounds. The presence of intramolecular hydrogen bond in the ortho amino substituted aminophenyl benzothiazole forces the molecule to be planar which may be an additional advantage in developing these compounds as Alzheimer's imaging agent because the binding to amyloid fibrils prefers planar compounds. The splitting pattern of the methylene proton next to the amino group also showed significant coupling to the amino proton consistent with the notion of the existence of slow exchange and hydrogen bond in the ortho‐substituted compounds. This is further verified by density functional theory calculations which yielded a near planar low energy conformer for all the o‐aminophenyl benzothiazoles and displayed a hydrogen bond from the amine proton to the nitrogen of the thiazole ring. A detailed analysis of the 1H, 13C and 15N NMR chemical shifts and density functional theory calculated structures of the compounds are described. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Two new poly(ortho‐diaminophenylene) derivatives containing fluorene and/or quinoxaline moieties per repeat unit in the main chain were synthesized via Suzuki coupling reaction followed by reduction process. The synthesized polymers were characterized and explored as colorimetric and fluorometric anion‐sensing materials. The polymers in dilute tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution emitted green light (about 530 nm) in their precursor benzothiadiazole forms and blue to green light (477–523 nm) in their reduced forms. The color of polymer solution was dramatically altered upon addition of fluoride anion without noticeable absorption change in UV–vis spectrum. The fluorescence was ratiometrically quenched with a linear relationship between fluorescence intensity and fluoride anion concentration implying static quenching mechanism could be applied judging from the maintenance of constant fluorescence lifetime with variable fluoride anion concentration. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 通过Sonogashira偶联反应、N-芳基化反应和季铵化反应, 我们构筑了一类基于咪唑(鎓)的十字架型荧光分子4和5, 研究了烷基链以及咪唑和咪唑鎓分别作为电子受体对十字架型分子荧光性质的影响. 其中, 分子4a具有较高的荧光量子产率和大的斯托克斯位移; 在不同极性的溶剂中表现出明显的溶致变色性质, 荧光颜色覆盖由深蓝色到黄色区域; 同时, 该分子还具有明显的聚集诱导发光特性. 我们采用数码照相的方法代替繁琐的荧光光谱仪, 仅使用单一该荧光分子在两种有机溶剂中即可通过荧光颜色有效区分15种结构类似或pKa相近的有机酸. 最后, 分子4a和5a固载于硅胶板上通过可逆的荧光颜色变化实现了对HCl/Et3N气体的识别.  相似文献

The steric and electronic factors that influence which of the two rings of a substituted biphenyl ligand coordinates to chromium are of interest and it has been suggested that haptotropic rearrangements within these molecules may be limited if the arene–arene dihedral angle is too large. Two tricarbonylchromium(0) complexes and their respective free ligands have been characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In the solid state, tricarbonyl[(1′,2′,3′,4′,5′,6′‐η)‐2‐fluoro‐1,1′‐biphenyl]chromium(0), [Cr(C12H9F)(CO)3], (I), exists as the more stable isomer with the nonhalogenated arene ring ligated to the metal center. Similarly, tricarbonyl[(1′,2′,3′,4′,5′,6′‐η)‐4‐fluoro‐1,1′‐biphenyl]chromium(0) crystallizes as the more stable isomer with the phenyl ring bonded to the Cr0 center. The arene–arene dihedral angles in these complexes are 55.77 (4) and 52.4 (5)°, respectively. Structural features of these complexes are compared to those of the DFT‐optimized geometries of ten tricarbonyl[(η6‐C6H5)(4‐F‐C6H4)]chromium model complexes. The solid‐state structures of the free ligands 2‐fluoro‐1,1′‐biphenyl and 4‐fluoro‐1,1′‐biphenyl, both C12H9F, exhibit arene–arene dihedral angles of 54.83 (7) and 0.71 (8)°, respectively. The molecules of the free ligands occupy crystallographic twofold axes and exhibit positional disorder. Weak intermolecular C—H…F interactions are observed in all four structures.  相似文献

Combining meta‐triphenylamine or triphenylphosphine with three anthracene fluorophores gives rise to fluorescent non‐planar triskelions 1 and 2 . The emissive properties of 1 are highly solvatochromic, yielding blue to pale green and even pale yellow fluorescence, whereas the blue emission of 2 is solvent‐insensitive. Anthracene trimers 1 and 2 are both emissive in the solid state, displaying yellow and pale green fluorescence, respectively, with moderate quantum yields.  相似文献

Two series of new organosoluble polyamides with methyl‐substituted triphenylamine (MeTPA) units showing anodically electrochromic characteristic were prepared from the phosphorylation polyamidation reaction of two diamine monomers, 4,4′‐diamino‐2″,4″,6″‐trimethyltriphenylamine (Me3TPA‐diamine; 2 ) and 4,4′‐diamino‐4″‐methyltriphenylamine (MeTPA‐diamine; 2 ′), with various dicarboxylic acids, respectively. These polymers were readily soluble in many polar solvents and showed useful levels of thermal stability associated with relatively high glass‐transition temperatures (Tg) (314–329 °C) and high char yields (higher than 62% at 800 °C in nitrogen). In addition, the polymer films showed reversible electrochemical oxidation, high coloration efficiency (CE), low switching time, and anodic green electrochromic behavior. The unexpected electrochemical behavior of higher oxidation potential and lower electrochemical stability of Me3TPA‐polyamides I than MeTPA corresponding polymers could be attributed to the higher steric hindrance of ortho‐substituents in Me3TPA moieties, thus made the resonance stabilization of cation radical much more difficult for the Me3‐substituted phenyl ring. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In exo‐2‐(3,5‐dioxo‐10‐oxa‐4‐aza­tri­cyclo­[5.2.1.02,6]­dec‐8‐en‐4‐yl)­phenyl acetate, C16H13NO5, the plane of the acetoxy group lies almost perpendicular to that of the phenyl ring [dihedral angle = 89.8 (1)°], in contrast with the smaller deviations found in the para isomer exo‐4‐(3,5‐dioxo‐10‐oxa‐4‐aza­tri­cyclo­[5.2.1.02,6]­dec‐8‐en‐4‐yl)­phenyl acetate, C16H13NO5, these being 63.6 (1) and 37.0 (1)° for the two crystallographically independent mol­ecules. Irrespective of the position of the acetoxy group, both compounds pack through soft C—H⋯X (X is O or phenyl) interactions, forming interlinked centrosymmetric tetramers in the bc plane.  相似文献

Electrochemical oxidation of 15 para‐ and meta‐substituted anilines in different mole fractions of water in 2‐methylpropan‐2‐ol has been investigated in the presence of 0.1 M sulfuric acid as a supporting electrolyte. The oxidation potential data of anilines correlate well with the Brown–Okamoto's substituent constants affording a negative reaction constant. The effect of para‐ and meta‐substituents on the oxidation potential confirms to Swain's F and R, affording negative reaction constants. The oxidation potential values also correlate satisfactorily with macroscopic solvent parameter such as relative permittivity, εr. The results of Kamlet–Taft multiple correlation analysis show that specific solute–solvent interactions play a dominant role in governing the reactivity. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Electrochemical behaviour of 12 icosahedral carboranes – ortho‐, meta‐ and para‐carborane with different exo‐skeletal substituents was investigated. The study was done using phosphate buffers, in some cases with 20 % and 30 % dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) addition to increase the solubility of studied compounds. Commercial glassy carbon electrode or home‐made screen printed electrodes were used. Distinct electrochemical responses were observed only for the ortho‐carborane and its exo‐skeletal derivatives. The study of different exo‐skeletal substituents on the electrochemical behaviour of the carboranes is crucial for the intended use of these compounds as electrochemical labels of biomolecules.  相似文献

Pointsource photodynamic therapy (PSPDT) is a newly developed fiber optic method aimed at the delivery of photosensitizer, light and oxygen to a diseased site. Because of a need for developing photosensitizers with desirable properties for PSPDT, we have carried out a synthetic, photophysical and phototoxicity study on a series of PEGylated sensitizers. Chlorin and pheophorbide sensitizers were readily amenable to our synthetic PEGylation strategy to reach triPEG and hexaPEG galloyl pheophorbides and mono‐, di‐, triPEG chlorins. On screening these PEG sensitizers, we found that increasing the number of PEG groups, except for hexaPEGylation, increases phototoxicity. We found that three PEG groups but not less or more were optimal. Of the series tested, a triPEG gallyol pheophorbide and a triPEG chlorin were the most efficient at generating singlet oxygen, and produced the highest phototoxicity and lowest dark toxicity to Jurkat cells. A detailed kinetic analysis of the PEGylated sensitizers in solution and cell culture and media is also presented. The data provide us with steps in the development of PSPDT to add to the PDT tools we have in general.  相似文献

meta‐ and para‐Phenylenediamine‐fused nickel(II) porphyrin dimers were synthesized by SNAr reaction of meso,β,β‐trichloro nickel(II) porphyrin with meta‐ and para‐phenylenediamines and subsequent Pd‐catalyzed intramolecular C?H arylation. Their tetrachlorinated dication diradicals are very stable, allowing SQUID magnetometry and revealing clear open‐shell characters for both meta and para isomers with ferro‐ and anti‐ferromagnetic interactions, respectively. The nitrogen analogue of Thiele's hydrocarbon usually displays predominant closed‐shell nature but its hidden diradical characters increase either in a twisted conformation or upon insertion of an additional phenylene spacer. The observed distinct diradical nature of the para‐congener indicates that diradical properties can be enhanced also by efficient spin delocalization.  相似文献
